Hi team,

I want to bring to your attention an online fraud that has been done by airtel and its representative. I applied for airtel broadband connection online and received a call from airtel representative to send him my photo and photo id proof via watsapp.

I send him the document and he gave me a CAF number to make online payment of 1000 rs toward new connection. Now that representative is not picking up the phone and i have not got the broadband connection.

Now they are not giving either a broadband connection nor they are refunding 1000 rs which i paid to them

How much time do you need to initiate a refund, in this age of e commerce refund happens very next day. I seriously doubt airtel intentions here.
Airtel as a company is following fraud practices. U have taken the money from me without giving service and when asked for refund you are taking ages.
I have already provided a transaction id to you. Please initiate a refund.

    Blank Calls from Airtel

    I am getting calls from Airtel number +[protected] & it immediately gets disconnected when I answer the call. When I tried to call back on that number, there is a computerize Interactive voice response which asks to wait as all their agents are busy and after 2-3 mins the call gets disconnected again. I have received 10 calls in last 2 hours. I have blocked the number but this is not a solution to such harassment.

    My father has an airtel sim (Mob No:[protected] from Bihar & Jharkhand circle.
    Recently when he came to visit me in Bangalore, his sim stopped working.

    We took it to the Airtel Customer Centre in BTM, Bangalore and got it replaced on December 17th, 2016. It has been over 3 weeks now and we have complained multiple times but the sim is still not active.

    This is pathetic service from airtel.

      This is regarding sms from outside number which i am not getting from last 10 days. I have raise the request through call but somehow they closed the request without solving it. So i am adding my details again here My mobile number is register with one Sweden Country company and to receive message i have to do the request from internet and then i will be getting one time password kind of pop-up message from that company this is similar like Airtel one time password request through internet.

      But I am not getting that message as other service provider like Vodafone, Idea and even some of Airtel Customer are able to get the password. So not sure why it's not working for my mobile number. Check this on priority and solve as soon as possible.

        Very worst data plans they had. When I recharged for 6 GB data and used only 2.5 GB/ month and I recharged again in the last day of the month plan for 300 MB for mobile data. The balance of 4.5 GB was gone and they are charging me from the main balance also. They had some Data plans like A and B. If you have already some data in A, and you have fully consumed in B plan then immediately they are charging from the main balance. If it is going zero then again consumed from A. What they are thinking, I paid for the both plans then why they are charging from the main balance. I'm planning to switch on Gio.

          I have received a call from Airtel customer support regarding the new broadband plans and the Landline connection along with it. They have checked my PIN code online and they said the connection is available at my place and therefore I was interested in taking a new connection and they have sent the agent to collect money. I paid 2, 662 INR for 3 months on November 30, 2016. And till now I did not hear from them regarding the connection. When I called the customer service numerous times they keep asking me to call the same number again and choose the same option to get connected to them. Nobody is interested to solve my problem. Airtel has one of the worst customer support team. And apart from this, regarding my mobile phone, I got ported to Airtel from Idea 6 months back and till date everyday I keep receiving calls to port to Airtel. I keep telling them not to call me regarding this as I have already ported to Airtel long back and I keep asking the agents to make some annotations on my account so that they dont call me back but till today I have been receiving these calls.

          Please do not apply for new broadband connections from Airtel, they take the money and then they tell you that the services are not available after a month or two when you keep calling them and you will never receive the refund.

          I got a call from one of your representative, asked me to send an e-mail of my bank details and no update till now.
          Did not receive the refund yet.

          If this doesn't work out, I will have to go with my plan B. I am not going to lose my money.

            I have purchased 4G LTE device on 9th Nov 2016 from Airtel's exclusive shop from MBP, Mahape, Navi Mumbai - 400709.

            I paid using my HDFC Debit card but the next day i get a call from the sales guys saying there is some issue with the payment. Amount got deducted from my account but did not reach Airtel. He asked me to return the device and the refund will be done within 15 days.

            I returned the device on 23 Nov 2016. I have not got refund so far.

            The sales guy name is Afzal Pawar.

            i have got a call from one of your persons and gave the detail on what transpired. I have also in parallel shared the bank transaction id and date. Also you can contact the sales person Afzal Pawar - Mobile No. [protected]. He keeps saying he will call me back but no response so far. I have met him more than 5 times now.

            My company has exclusive partnership with Airtel for Official Phone connections, i am checking with them also to end the contract with Airtel given the unethical practices. What data do you need more from me, you have the bank transaction id and you can check your bank accounts that you got extra money from my account when there was no sale. Why don't you just return the money. It is plain and simple issue. Even for this you are taking so much time.

            I can only conclude this you are doing this as a practice so that you can earn interest on the money collected while the consumers wait for the repayments. Given the smaller amounts involved, i guess no one really takes this up to the police.

              I have requested for airtel broadband connection and airtel representative named mr zubair visited my house. Also i spoke to his manager named rajith jain. I have made online payment for rs 3788/-. Cef no rtblr7276125, transaction id:[protected]. I was told that i shall receive the connection in 2 days. I waited for 1 week there was no response from airtel. Later i requested rajith and zubair for cancellation of connection due to delay.
              They told they have initiated for refund in 48hrs i shall receive the refund. I waited for one week and then called customer care representative named priya and she told is shall receive payment in 48 hrs. Complaint number
              76800698.

              Till now i havent received the refund amount. This is a clear case of cheating customer to the core. My money is with airtel for around 25 days now.
              Hope you know the rules of trai. I have all the recordings of the phone conversation. I am posting it in all social media. Other customers should not get cheated like this

                I had taken a post paid 4g data modem with connection no [protected] from airtel in the month of aug 16. The airtel executive informed that there is offer of 10 Gb data per months @ Rs 995/- and if i pay for six months in advance modem will provided free of cost. Accordingly i paid for six months in advance. After completion of three months on 1st nov 16 my service was barred for non payment of bill with 1.2 Gb of data balance. After confirming from customer care it was informed to me that you have to pay rs 995/- service tax @ 15% per months which was not informed to me at the time of taking of connection. If it was informed to me i would have not taken connection from airtel. This Hidden charges was not informed to me. Later on any how I paid the service tax which they had told me for will be whole period. but after 1 month they have again disconnected due to non payment of service tax. They should have informed me at the time of taking the connection.

                    I herewith attach a screenshot of my bank statement regarding the debited rupees from my bank account. I was going to load money (Rs 110&rs 100) on 30th amd 31st dec. The money was not loaded to my airtel money wallet but rs 210 (In total) has been debited from my bank account. I have got refund rs 110 after written you so many times but till now i did not get refund rs 100. I have told this matter to you so many times but did not get any reply from your side. So for the last time i am telling you that dont take this matter as a joke. Do reply. Refund the debited amout asap and reply me. Otherwise i have to take serious action against you. Do find the attachment.

                      i already talk to him that don’t disturb me .but he keep wants to disturb me. Please trace out and block him number. If you can’t able to do this .i have to go police station .kindly please check out.
                      I didn’t expect this in my life and he was used vulgar word.
                      Please kindly take my complain as a serious and help me to recover from this
                      I hope you can able to help me.
                      Women have to be respected in India but those street dogs always don’t think about our growing India. They keep doing like a same things.
                      Please help me to trace and block him number

                        I had applied for porting my tata docomo number to airtel around 10 days ago. It got ported yesterday evening. The old sim card has stopped working. I am not able to call 59059 from the new airtel sim. It says that the number is not valid, please check the number you have dialed.
                        This is my official number and i am not able to even receive calls on it. I need this number immediately.
                        Thanks for responding to my complaint.

                          Hi,

                          I am not able to receive any SMS to my Airtel,
                          Mobile number: [protected]

                          Also I am not able to reach any one for one to one call, coz 121 dont have any option for the same.
                          Fed up with continuous issue with Airtel and its customer service.
                          Recently I had a sim swap for 4G from Airtel store and not I regret the same, totally uneducated people, had to swap twice and wait for a day to get my sim active.

                          I have not got any resolution detail, few people called me, I dont know what they were talking.

                          It activated the SMS service after 48 Hrs, your CSR sitting in Total Mall Kormangala dont know basics of sim swapping, please teach them.

                            Im a postpaid user of Airtel.

                            I have been calling airtel n number of times to deactivate few services.

                            They havent stopped the services, instead they keep billing for the services which was asked to deactivate several months ago.

                            They keep adding the amount as they like and call us everytime for payment.

                            These customer care people cant even speak a basic English and call and bargain for money, the say your bill is so much least pay XXX this amount which is so ridiculous.

                            I have thrown the sim still they keep calling adding extra amount every month and keep sending the bills.

                            The customer care people give complete mental harassment to me.

                            Why would someone pay for completely non using the sim at all.

                              Airtel was unable to deliver 40MBPs speed on my broad band

                              In beginning of Dec-16. I have installed Airtel BroadBand connection with 40MBps connection speed and 120GB Data plan for month with tariff of Rs.1500 per month.After installation two days after i was getting only speed of 25Mbps. As customer i logged multiple complaints to airtel call center.
                              None of complaint till dates are resolved and what more frustrating with airtel their backend team close complaint...

                              I am extremely dissatisfied with the hopeless & service that airtel the so called smart phone network is providing in my iphone 6 i had ported from vodafone to airtel thinking that airtel is a better service provider but i believe that i was a fool that i changed from vodafone to airtel i have already post several complaints online on the airtel website but as usual the service that airtel is providing is just hopeless & pathetic is all i can say.
                              Request you to look into this on an urgent basis else i will be going back to vodafone & let me inform you one thing i have shown my device at the apple service center as well they have also checked nothing is wrong in my device at all if this is not addressed on an urgent basis i will ensure that along with me at least 15 customers port out of airtel & switch to vodafone also i will post this on social media as well like facebook & twitter as well that's a promise.
                              I have already posted a complain on the consumer forum & don't think that i can fooled at all. As i am also a part of the customer service industry so you guys can't play around with me at all because i know pretty well how this functions as i am also a part of a bpo industry. Last week i have also changed my sim to another airtel 4g sim but still no luck at all.
                              Look into this on an urgent basis else i will spread the poor & hopeless service that airtel is providing like wild fire i mean it. With greatest difficulty 3g has started showing on my mobile phone please tell me will i ever get to see 4g or not because i have started hating the services that airtel is providing every now & then i see "no service" as well is this how a so called best smart phone network provider works & don't fool around with me ok as i am a part of bpo industry so i know pretty well how you work ok i am also posting this on airtel consumer forum as well ok look into this on an urgent basis ok else you'll loose customer & not one at least 20 also ill post it on facebook & twitter

                                This is to inform you that I had paid my postpaid bill of rs 744 on DEC 13 via the Airtel app. The money has been deducted from my account but I have not received a confirmation message from Airtel about the bill payment. Till date it shows that the last payment is pending. I am attaching the image of the message I received from my bank of the deduction of the money.

                                  I live at 296, 5 th Cross, 5th main, B block, aecs layout, singasandra post, Bangalore 560068. Applied and paid for new broadband connection on January 2nd, 2017. I was told I will get the connection in 72 hrs max. Today it's Jan 8th and nothing has happened. I keep calling the airtel person asking for the status, he just says he will call in 15mins and never a returned call. His name is Kiran +[protected]. I got so many annoying calls after I enquired on their broadband plans from their call center asking if someone contacted me to collect the documents.It is no unorganized, I kept getting calls many days after I gave the documents and paid. I have not found an Helpline for customers who have paid and not received the new connection. Helplines ask for connection number which is not yet allocated for me. I have written to [protected]@airtel asking for refund at last.
