I have file a complaint regarding my landline number activation last 9th of december 2016. But number not activated. My landline number[protected].
I have a lot of complaint but they always say today activate tomorrow activate.
My first complaint number[protected]. I really very disappointed from airtel company side. So if have any solution from your side then resolve it. They always promises wrong.

Airtel 4g deactivated for my number. Complained to airtel customer care for 3 times they are telling only issues will resolve in 48 hours and no one responds my complaint.i visited near airtel store no use of it. This issue created 2 months ago.please fix it I hope you will clear it out soon...

    Good Morning.
    This is Biplab Chatterjee, an user of Airtel prepaid connection.
    My airtel no. is [protected]
    I have recharged of Rs. 145 to get 3G data 7 days ago (approximate).
    When I have dialed *121*51# to check the data balance and validity by pressing option no. 2, there I got an sms that I will get 10 GB unlock data on 1st January, 2017which can be used 7 days validity i.e: 7th January, 2017.
    Today is 5th January, 2017
    Whenever I am accessing data, data will be deducted from my data balance, not from unlock 10GB data.
    Actually the thing is that I have not received 10GB unlock data till now.
    I have complained many times but inspite of that I have not received the benefit.
    Today again I have called to 198 against my complain, one of your agent Mrs. Smita, then she transferred my call to her senior to Mr. Pradip, after that Mr. Pradip transferred my call to his senior Mr. Manas Chakraborty told me that he will escalate my complain to the back end team and also he assured me that I will get 10GB unlock data within today.
    I would like to attach a complaint status in the attachment file.
    Kindly look into this matter and do the needful so that I can get 10GB unlock data on my airtel no. [protected].

      Airtel store at Munirka (ref no [protected])and Sarojininagar (even denied to provide a ref no to my sim request)denied to replace lost sim.

      I lost my mobile on 28th Dec 2016 and filed a FIR regarding the same with nearest PS. I contacted 121 and mailed [protected]@in.airtel.com.

      My connection (mobile number [protected])was a corporate connection but I am maintaining everything (use, bill payment)(in fact the bill is paid through auto debit through my credit card) since the day I took the connection (that is some 6 years back). The phone was never used for any official purpose of the company which has closed its operation 3 years back so does not exist now.

      I got reply from [protected]@in.airtel.com to contact Airtel relationship centre to get sim with required documents ( ID Proof, Address Proof and a Photo). I visited Airtel store at Munirka as well as at Sarojini Nagar. Both the store declined to provide replacement sim. I provided all the document as mentioned by the email reply by [protected]@in.airtel.com.

      They only insist on to provide NOC from the company ( Collective Growth Reality Pvt LTD, A 110 sector 4, Noida UP) which does not exist now. The executives in the store in no mood to understand the same.

      I have been using the number for last 6 years. My all friends relatives and many others have that number. Now I am completed detached from them. I lost my mobile so lost their contact numbers. They are also not in a position to contact me as since the day (28th Dec 2016) I lost my mobile.

      Nobody is there to listen to this. Airtel people can easily contact me on my email as my email id is registered with them.

      I shall be thankful if any one help me out to get my sim back

      I got a reply from airtel to produce some proof of company been closed or alive. One can find it very easily by visiting mca.gov.in. I took a snapshot of company details from there and submitted to ARC but again they denied to accept they still insist on NOC. Attached a snapshot where one can easily understand.

      Where can I find NOC when company doesn't exist.

      I can provide my identity proof, residence and ready to submit an affidavit to take all the responsibility (which I have been doing for last 6 years).

      I can't just drop the number as number is 6 years old.

      Kindly someone guide me to what to do to get back my number .

          Hi,

          This is regarding Airtel Account No. [protected] and connection CEF No. AHM674843. I had applied for a broadband/fixedline connection for Airtel on 24/12/2016. Just to bring to your notice, that i had applied for a similar kind of connection in June, which after collection of payment and other documents was refused by Airtel citing technical reasons which was unavailability of line in my building. It took me almost 2 months to get the refund for the same. This is the link for the complained i filed a few months ago (https://www.consumercomplaints.in/airtel-non-receipt-of-refund-for-airtel-accou... which was resolved consequently after much pursuance.

          Now, after a few months i was approached by airtel salesperson many times saying that we have provided sufficient lines in your building i.e. Shyam Elegance, Near Anand Nagar Cross Road, Ahmedabad-380015 and asked me to take the connection. Since i had already taken plans with another service provider, i told them i would be considering it later. Now again i was approached by Airtel asking for connection and i agreed for the same. As usual, one Mr. Pankaj came over to my house (Shyam Elegance Apt, Anand Nagar Cross Road, Ahmd-15) on 24/12/2016 and collected the documents along with a cheque of Rs. 4930 for payment of 6 months of internet. He told me to wait for 2 days for installation. This was after he confirmed that there is availability for connection in my building. After 2-3 days, after continuous botheration, i was again informed that due to unavailability of port in the DPR unit in my building connection can't be given. (REFUSED AGAIN..Huh!!) Let me tell you that it has been only 6 months this building opened up for living and this is the condition of Airtel.

          I was told that the documents and cheque would be returned to you by the executive who collected the documents. He told me that the documents and cheque has been received and would be returned at the earliest. Now, to my surprise when i checked my bank statement, i got to know that the cheque was already applied for clearing in bank and the amount is already debited from my account. I can forward the bank statement if needed.

          Now, the problem isn't that you have unavailability in my building, the problem is this is again one of many times airtel has ditched me (not gonna write every event). If such a world class service provider is dealing with these things in such a way, I wonder what we as consumers are gonna do (Shift to JIO, I guess). If Airtel can't fulfill the needs, then I am sorry to say, You shouldn't make any commitments.

          Now every time i mail on customer care and appellate authority, i receive the book reply i.e. Your complaint would be resolved within 3 days. I checked with customer care and i got to know that this airtel account is expired which means that the connection is not feasible and is closed.

          Now, I request you to please take suitable action against this issue, and against concerned people as to why this is happening again and again and refund the amount with immediate effect which i had already mentioned in my mail conversations.

          The complaint No. given to be by airtel is 77141664.

            Airtel service is becoming pathetic day by day network coverage & 4G services are hopeless as always I regret changing from Vodafone to Airtel if I use 4G after every 2 minutes it says no service I have to everytime remove & re enter my sim is this what Airtel the so called best service provider is hmm it's just hopeless that's all I can say hmm this issue I have been facing since last 10 odd days and I think it will be better if I change my service provider to Vodafone I would never recommend Airtel as a service provider to anyone not even to my enemy as the services that Airtel provides are just pathetic that's all I can say... Today I received a call from an Airtel representative saying that 4G data would start in my device where it has still not started & I wish to know why is it so tell me directly the hopeless & pathetic mobile network weather I'll get 4G services or else I'll port out of Airtel & move to Vodafone the better network provider I need an action & look don't you dare fool around with me ok as I am a part of the BPO industry ok so I know how you function reply & get the hopeless network solved soon else I'll switch & make atleast 10 more people switch out of Airtel & also ensure that hopeless network problem goes viral on Facebook Twitter & Linked In because you guys don't see to improve at all reply & get the no service issues resolved ok

              On Saturday, 17th December 2016, I saw an advertisement in a flyer that was stuck on my door, showing promising tariff of vfibre broadband with a stamp of local contact number. I wanted to verify so I check the internet, and there was an option for online booking. I booked and promptly i got a call from the airtel saying they would send someone on monday and probably they will fix within 48 hrs. In a hope of their visit, I waited patiently till monday evening, but nothing happened, no one came. So I called up a number which was given on the back of the flyer ([protected]), the Customer care executive told me that there was so such booking registered with my mobile number, even though there was (received sms for booking on 17/12/2016, bearing ref number ONTMCHENN66188747C). I thought that was a humble mistake and accepted their suggestion for new-booking (Airtel A/c number [protected], ref. number[protected]. The next day I got a call saying they can't service 40mbps vfibre in my area but they can surely provide 16mbps regular broadband at the same price, which was confusing as advertisement was misinforming. Being out of options and urgency I accepted the offer, and immediately they asked for activation fees of Rs 1000. To my surprise they called me over and over again for the activation fees like 4-5 times in an hour, got irritated when they called in the middle of the transaction. And they also asked for the soft copy of my passport size photo, rent agreement and ID proof, which I sent with 1-2 hrs. I was in a positive expectation after seeing such haste in the process of acquiring the prerequisites, thought they would keep the 48 hours promise. Unfortunately, their calls stopped coming after payment. I kept calling them when they crossed the 48 hrs period. They would keep promising that they will surely do it next day. I was aware of the damage that happened in Vardah cyclone, keeping that in mind I kept my cool. But they ignored my Request. No updates, no phone calls, no emails. I even took a leave from my work as the customer care executive promised they would surely come the next day morning at 10, which never happened, again. I made a complain regarding the issue. They kept lying over and over again tell tomorrow for sure. I even bought a landline phone as they said they wont be providing the phone. After too much of waiting and patience, eventually they told me that "airtel broadband is not available in my area, and to apply for refund" which happened yesterday. FYI, there is an airtel distribution box 2-3 buildings from my apartment, which is barely 70 feet away. My friend is using airtel broadband which is about 150 feet from my residence.
              I felt it was a mistake to expect great service from airtel.

                Last 8 years i have uses only reliance GSM Services . Few days back i have port my Mobile no reliance to airtel . but its very poor network services on my home address, even unable to talk any body due to network issues also data services .

                i have call to airtel customer care services request no[protected] and executive was tell me to network department will call u and solve the but after 2 days i got sms from airtel (Necessary action have been taken have been resolve the same ) but i dint get any call from network team and still issues are same .

                and again i have complain to customer care department service request no[protected]. and got same sms from airtel in 8 hr and problem is not resolve .

                now i want to go back my home ( reliance network ) immediately relise my no to port i cant wait for 90 days . please help me

                    On 4th Jan'17 I called customer care to register my complaint for Airtel number [protected] regarding a data pack validity issue. Customer care transferred my call to Meenu Arora. I explained her the issue but she refused to register my complaint. I asked her multiple times to register my complaint but every time she refused and disconnected the call. Despite the fact I asked her several times that I am paying for the call to customer care and I want my complaint to be registered she just rudely disconnected my call.

                    I called back to customer care and again explained the issue, customer care again transferred my call to Meenu Arora who again tried to waste my time instead of providing me a solution or registering my complaint. When I warned her about making a complaint against her, she transferred my call to Kamal Deep Singh (Process Lead) who also rudely said NO to register a complaint. He said I am a LIER and he cannot take a false complaint. I told him that I have proof to prove myself right, despite the fact he branded me like a LIER and said we cannot take your false complaint and if I want I can write an email instead of calling them. I asked him that I have a message from Airtel regarding the issue, he said it COULD BE BECAUSE OF AN ERROR so kindly IGNORE it and we would not help you.

                    When I said I am paying for the call to register my compliant he said why are you calling 121 and wasting money and our time, call 198 and register your compliant free of cost. He tried every possible way to prove me WRONG and LIER and instead of registering my complaint despite the fact I told him that I have evidence to prove me right.

                    Is this is kind of customer service Airtel provides whose representatives are not ready to listen to customers and being rude and accusing customer of being false and LIER?
                    I am really hurt with their behavior and I would like to see a strict action against these two representatives.

                      Subject: recharge issue.
                      This is mohd. Danish, my id number is - [protected].
                      I received sms from airtel regarding recharge offer on 27th december 2016 that offer was recharge with rs.1660/- and get 12th month's validity. That offer was valid till 31st december 2016. After receive the sms i talked to airtel customer care and asked about this offer, they replied that you should recharge with same amount and get 1 year validity, i called again before recharge on 31st december 2016. To customer care about this offer and again listen same reply than i recharged my pack with same amount of rs.1660/- on 31st december 2016. After recharge i checked validity of my recharge than there was shown validity till june 2017. Than i called to customer care about this issue and they replied me that you should wait for 48 hours to activate the package. After completion 48 hours i called again to customer care and submit my complaint about this issue. (Complaint no.[protected] they replied me that we have registered your complaint about this issue and your issue will solve within 24 hours and our backend team will contact you.
                      But today i received call from backend team they spoke that you are not eligible to get this offer because this offer only for that customer whose account suspended. I spoke that i already asked before recharge and received sms about this offer but they replied that sorry we can't provide you this offer.
                      I need help from forum, please solve my issue.

                      Subject: Package benefit provided wrongly and additional package activated without info.

                      I have recharged for RS 1006 on 2nd Oct 2017 for South Max Kannada Package for the period of 6 month after proper enquire about the packages with customer care support but now on 20th December its showing recharge window. I have enquired about the issue but they were saying that additional HD 180 channel package was activated and this additional package has been activated without our knowledge. I have spoke with customer care and every time customer support team say we will connect the call with supervisor for the further discussion but the call not got connected not even single time. Airtel DTH Customer care is really worst, not responding properly. Here i am requesting for the recharge for remaining months and I spoke to customer care supportive, no one helped me and not showed interest to raise a complaint. I need help from forum.

                          While Taking SIM from local Airtel SIM provider, He attached wrong ID proof instead of my ID proof. After more than one year, my SIM is not working without any reason and when I complained to Aritel Customer Care about this problem but they told me that your SIM was registered with another ID proof so I cant do any thing. I already used this SIM many places. Now my question is how can I used my SIM in future and how can I changed this wrong ID proof with my ID proof. In this SIM has some amount for voice call as well as net data. My complained Mobile No. is [protected](Airtel) and alternate no is [protected].

                          Please resolved my problem otherwise I can't use my Airtel SIM ([protected]) in future. This was not my fault . I given him valid ID proof.

                          No from customer care is giving appreciate answer.

                                  I have raised a new Fixed line broad band request and paid the amount online ₹500 on December 19 2016.

                                  But later Airtel team stated the broad band service was not feasible in my area hence i requested them to refund my amount.

                                  I am following this issue with customer care and then submitted complaint to nodal team but haven't got any proper response from any one.

                                  So I have contacted appellate team but then also i am unable to get my refund amount yet.

                                  It has been almost 3 weeks now and still i am not getting my refund amount.

                                  It was airtel's mistake, they did not check feasibility and made me to pay Rs 500/-

                                    Both The transaction is been unsuccessful, (after giving my Debit Card Details.) Why is it Airtel requesting the Customer's banking credentials in its web portal? Usually the web portal has to redirect request to Third party site which manages the banking request. Why airtel involved in such a practice? And also its not the first time I had to face this issue.

                                    I want to look into the legality of service providers requesting the bank credentials in their web portal.

                                    Dear Officer,

                                    Once I have given Txn Id means the contact information is inherited in it. I need not give again my contact information. May be there was a recharge done on that occasion but the problem still remains.

                                    Today again the same issue has occurred.
                                    Txn Id[protected] & Txn ID[protected] was unsuccessful. I totally regret the way website is designed and storing the Bank data in your space is questionable. Still I request for legality of the process its being designed.

                                      I already had the mobile data i was supposed to recharge the same to another mobile number.

                                        Hi, this is Mr.Martujasab F Noorbhasha from Koppal dist. having airtel prepaid connection no. +91-[protected]. I lost my mobile, hence, I want to request the Airtel team to please BLOCK this Sim card ASAP.

                                        Please guide me through the process of issuing a duplicate prepaid SIM card (if possible, with the balance amount from my previous SIM). I expect a quick solution to my problem with further knowledge of the procedure.
