Unable to Recharge Online after Postpaid to Prepaid Migration

For 2 months now, I have been suffering due to arrogant behavior of Airtel with no balance in my primary SIM.

I had migrated from prepaid to postpaid in October. After migration, I couldn't recharge online. After going to the relationship center nearby (Velachery, Chennai), they asked me to wait for a month for the migration to be completed....

I deactivated it one month before as I shifted to karnataka
But now again we shifted to Andhra and I liked Airtel postpaid offers which suited me the best
So I want that previous mobile number back which is linked to many accounts

    I Received 643 INR in my Airtel Money Wallet: [removed] on 3rd December 2016 (Proof is Attached below)
    I only used Rs10 from it for recharge. (Proof is Attached below)
    Then i didn't used my airtel money wallet.Now On 16th December 2016 i tried logging in into my airtel money wallet and i got Error "User Not Registered".So i register again my account on airtel money and to my surprise my balance is now showing 0rs
    I had 633 INR in my Airtel Money Wallet: [removed] but now it's showing 0.0 INR
    So i contacted Airtel Money Customer Care by calling 400 on 16th December, the guy told me to wait for 48 hours for the issue to be resolved and money to be back but i did not get my money back.So i contacted customer care again on 18th December, and i got again same response to wait for another 48 hours and still after 48 hours my money is not back.
    Today(20th December 2016) again i called airtel money customer care and again got same response to wait for at least 48 hours.
    I did not expected that Airtel will steal my money and they do not give satisfactory response.
    I even emailed airtel money cust. care to [protected]@airtelmoney.com twice but i got no response.

    See yourself what copy paste response Airtel always give.
    I just want my money back that Airtel Money deducted for no reason.

        One offer is show my airtel no. [protected] is preped no.at 1.5GB data in 156rupees then i am just rcharge now but not sucessful recharge in my mobile.
        Hello Sir, I had recharge my airtel number with 29 which is given in airtel app but after recharge my data did not carry forwarded. To take this complaint I called airtel customer care then they told me that this can not be forwarded and this is not possible to mentioned every thing in recharge this means they are openly cheating their customer.

          Dear airtel team & mr. Ceo,

          I am writing this mail with high level of disappointment & frustrataion to such a big giants of internet service providers, who claims to be the best in their sector. But unfortunately it’s not at all like that.
          My experience to your company is horrible, disgusting, pitiable & pathetic.

          You have trained your customer care executives so well to humiliate, & irritate the customer to such an extent that customer can go sick.

          I have gone mad receiving the repetative phone calls from your customer care service and asking for the solution to my problem again and again. The same has been repeated more than 30-40 times or even more than that.

          It’s a torture to me.

          I paid the bill for 11th sep - 10th oct on 7th nov 2016 (Amt:1378.86). Please find the attached bank statement (1-nov to as of today) of my account through which i paid the bill. Also nothing has been credited back to my account.

          Still your team is regularly calling me and asking me to pay the amount & when i am telling them that i have already paid they are not looking into it & ignoring the same. They are again calling me regarding the same & i am explaining the same thing again and again. But no one is ready to listen.

          I used the net services from 11th oct to 10th nov and again a bill was generated for this time period. Okay no issues in this bill. But still the customer care was following up for the same old bill & again i was explaining the same story to them but got no response from the side.

          I was about to pay the bill of the tenure 11th oct to 10th nov but my services was barred unnecessarily, as i had already paid the bill, but because it’s not updated at your end i am suffering.

          No response from airtel again & over and above they are arguing & humiliating us a customer

          After so many repetitive calls & monotonous explanations to airtel team what i got from your side was that my internet services were barred & cherry on top-my bill for the period 11th nov to 10th dec is generated, where i have not used a single bit of your service.

          I want solution to this my dear friends & if you cannot resolve the issue please let me know, i will drag this to consumer court.

              On 3rd Dec 2016 I had requested to Airtel Gallery at koparkharne near HDFC bank to change my circle that is Karnataka to mumbai also provided all required documents miss Monika was attending me. After completing the procedure she told within 7 days your circle will get change. You will receive one sms after that your old sim will get disconnected, then you need to insert new sim which will get activated with in few hrs. I waited for 10day I haven't received any sms when I crossed check with Same Gallery I found all my documents where laying on their desk. When I asked them they replied sorry sir due system error your process is pending. After that again all the process was done again the same answer that to change the circle it will take 7 day and now this time it will get done 100%. Yesterday I received one sms saying that your old sim will get disconnected then you need to insert new sim which will get activated within few hrs. Now it is more than 20 hrs but new sim is still not activated. Again I went to Airtel Gallery then I found that my old sim is disconnected but new sim is still in process which will take time. I asked Monica how much time it will take she said sir I had drop the mail to our team they will reply.
              My question is Airtel have authority to disconnect the customer sim for more then 20hrs without informing customer.
              Second question if Airtel Gallery don't know how much time it will take then what they are doing their in Gallery.
              And how they are irresponsible to keep my documents on hold for 10days without informing me.

              Sorry to say but Airtel is one off pathetic service provider

                I am an airtel user for more than 6 years, for the last 2 years i have had the same complaint. From certain areas, i cannot make calls and when people call my phone shows unavailable. This is a big issue as i have clients calling all the time. I have been patient with them and now its getting out of hand.

                If someone can connect with me from airtel's end in the next few days great, or else someone else is getting my business for sure.

                  I have Airtel subscription mobile no.[protected]. I applied many time on airtel official website for activation of DND ( Do not disturb) . But everytime, thee is msg, it will be activated, but no action still. I feel headache due to this stupid service. I am receiving lot of SMS from marketing companies, every minutes mostly i receives. I request to note my complaint against Airtel Mobile services and ask company to deactivate of sending such kind of Promotional offer, Marketing SMS.

                    Service for my prepaid mobile - [protected] is stopped on one day notice that i have not submitted document. i am using this number since last 11 years.

                    there is no response from Airtel customer care.

                    I have submitted all my document again on 17 December 2016 to Global Enterprices, Sasane Nagar, Hadapsar, Pune but till now no service is started.

                    this was my primary number and coudnt do any online banking transaction.

                    Now i dont believe that airtel can resolve this issue. Since last 6 Days service for my number is stopped. Airtel is giving false commitment that in next 48 hours i will get my service back. I dont know how many 48 hours are required by Airtel.

                    Global Enterprices, Sasane Nagar, Hadapsar, Pune is saying they are help less to resolve this issue.

                    Due to Airtel service providers bad service i am facing lots of issues to conduct my banking transaction.

                          After complaint in consumer helpline One of airtel executive call me on my number and ask for my bank details from last three months I am continuously giving bank details reciept details.

                          This fraud company closed my issue for refund but have not resolve it from last three months.
                          Airtel company is very big fraud companies and their employees are also very big fraud persons. they promise me in call that they release my payment with in 7 days but now 3 months passed and they have closed my issue and update status that issue has been resolved.

                          This is totally wrong thing I advice you all dont trust this fraud peoples company. Now I will go for consumer court and file case against them and their employees which misguide me always.

                            I am an airtel customer. On 18/12/2016 I surfed the internet using my internet balance. Suddenly I was notified that my remaining main account balance a sum of 48 rupees had been deducted. But my internet balance was still remaining. We all know that main account balance is deducted only when there is no internet balance left and one still goes on to use the internet. This is highly objectionable. When I talked to the customer care office he was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation. I urge you to look into the matter.

                              At the last when I did not get help from anywhere I am writing about my concern.

                              So from last one quarter or so I am facing some financial difficulties and I just did not want to end my relationship with Airtel on a bad note so I chose to contact you guys and inform about my situation asking what best can be done as help from Airtel's end.

                              The help they offered me was of no use and they clearly mentioned that they can’t do anything about it, i clearly mentioned that the phase i am going through is very hard and also asked to escalate the matter as I wanted to close it with someone's help but that did not happen and every time I was told that there is nothing we can do.

                              I have still paid my bill and i have just got a new job, i decided to port my number and suddenly Airtel called me asking why am I doing so, I started telling and before I could finish my first sentence the call was disconnected on my face with last word from last lady's mouth as ' Sorry for the inconvenience, Goodbye!'

                              Isn't this strange, a customer is calling you upfront seeking for some help so that the situation can be dealt in the most possible manner but an organization working at this level behaves as such a customer doesn't mean anything for them and disregards every call of mine.. Their service left me distressed and they were the only ones who did not even address my situation.

                              I am very unhappy with the level of service I have got and they almost helped me to go to a depression stage. Their people of the phones are fearless, whenever they want to cut the phone they do, they promise call backs but they never do.

                                I applied for Airtel broadband connection 8Mbps speed and unlimited landline calls. I was also insisted that if I pay 5 months advance rental, there will not be any installation charges and a month free internet. So, I paid 5 months rental in advance with tax amounting to 4800 in cash to the Agent Mr Ashok (91 [protected]) from DR Enterprises. On 30th of August 2016 cabling and installation was done. However, in the first week of Sept I noticed that the paid 4800 in cash did not reflect in the MyAirtel Portal and was suspicious as the agent has first come gave an enrollment form(HYD402638) and collected the cheque on Aug 25th. Later he came up saying the process is delayed due to some technical reasons from their end and returned the cheque and tried to collect cash instead. I have insisted for cash receipt for which he said they do not provide any such and showed me a copy of the enrollment form(HYD402639) on his mobile device. I was little suspicious and said I would pay the amount only after the installation of broadband connection and which I did so by collecting the cheque that I have issued earlier after the router was setup.

                                Also the installation is not complete as the promised fixed landline is still pending. They said its out of stock and would get back in 2-3 days and its more than a week and still there is no communication from any one on its status.

                                On Sept 4th I raised the service ticket (Ref[protected] with 121 through email and MyAirtel portal - "CURRENT PAYMENT NOT POSTED : I HAVE MADE THE PAYMENT BUT IT IS NOT REFLECTING IN MY AIRTEL BILL".

                                Have made a follow up with the agent and he said it could a technical issue and would get reflected by September 25th billing date which did not happen and the bill was generated for the full amount (4210.42) that I have already paid with taxes and this followed every month with late payment charges being added to the bill each month.

                                Fixed line services have been barred, Broadband speed downgraded to 256kbps as against 8Mbps that was promised and its very unfortunate that a company like Airtel is showing such casual attitude towards complaints raised through 121. During our constant follow up emails they are giving assurances & providing new dates for resolving the issue and the responses are very generic and is always as below or something very similar and I do not think one would need to have call center support through email if the response for everything is just the same copy paste thing.

                                After serveral follow ups Mr Ashok one day has come to meet me and has said that one of his colleagues is absconding with all the cash payments and there are several other around 10 + customer like me and requested for a weeks time to resolve the issue and in the meantime if I get any calls from Airtel or his higher authorities he insisted me to convey them that my issue is resolved to which I have denied.

                                Have reported the same to Airtel and escalated the issue to both "nodal.[protected]@in.airtel.com" and "appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com" on Dec 7th. Got an email and all giving assurance that it will be sorted out in the next 72 hours but all in vain. They just keep making false promises and commit wrong dates to which Airtel service reps never stick.

                                Not sure if its due to immense pressure from higher authorities Ashok himself has called and came to meet me on Dec 8th and this time has promised to provide a new connection free of cost for 3 months and will help close the existing connection asap and I would not need to pay anything extra from my pocket. However, I asked if the same fixed line number will be active to which he said a new one would be allotted and I denied the offer (I believe this could be the GET Unlimited Internet FREE for 3 months plan from Airtel by paying just 1 month). So, its very evident that DR Enterprises (agents or its employees) have some way of activating Airtel services without making payments to Airtel and then cause inconvenience and panic to customers. I was just suspicious about it all these days but its now evident and can say with confirmation. Whats strange is that Airtel has failed to take an action and resolve the issue since 3 months creates more doubts and involvement of their employees / executives in the fraud.

                                Adding to the above, I really would like to know what action is taken by Airtel against DR Enterprises and why is Airtel supporting the fraudulent despite the concern has been raised 3 months back. Does Airtel or any of its representatives have any share in this fraud?

                                Airtel is liable to refund the amount in full and pay the compensation for:
                                - Failing to resolve the issue that is open since the last 3 months.
                                - Not providing the service despite collecting the amount in full for 6 months
                                - Downgrading the broadband speed to 256 kbps as against the promised 8 Mbps
                                - Affecting the work as the broadband speed of 256 kbps is not sufficient to attend client meetings online from home
                                - Harassment from airtel making calls and asking to pay the bill amount, which airtel or its partners have already collected.
                                - Had to take alternate connection from Hathway broadband and had to pay them for their services.

                                Update as of 5th Jan 2017:
                                Got a call from appellate and was updated that the billing adjustment of 4111 was made which is incorrect, this should have been INR 4800. Have brought to his notice of the same and discussed the following
                                1. Waiver of late payment charges which accounted to almost INR 400
                                2. Adjustment of 4800 instead of 4111
                                3. Adjustment towards the fixed landline instrument which I have purchased on my own. This should have been provided by Airtel. I was promised that by providing the invoice copy of the landline to airtel an adjustment of 650 will be done to the account. So this should be done as well.
                                4. Finally, due to service disruption and slow bandwidth speed of 128 kbps as against promised 8Mbps for almost a month and half, have asked for compensating the benefit period as I have not received Proper benefit due to the inconvenience caused by the billing issue.

                                    Hi, I requested for a broad band connection and handed over the documents and Rs.1050/- as activation fee Sep 15th 2016. Attached the receipt. I was given with an Airtel A/c no : [protected].
                                    There was no response from Airtel side thereafter. After 15 days, i followed with Aiter customer care continuously.
                                    Later Airtel team confirmed that connection was not feasible in my area, and promised amount Rs.1050/- will be refunded in my account within 2 days.

                                    I had recharged for 333 rupess planon 3 december 2016 from airtel app itz is showing transcation fail and after few minutes amount of rupees 333 is debited 2 times from my credit card and recharge is done. I want my money back. Kindly look into the matter. Below is my details:

                                    My mobile number is [protected] .Yesterday at about 11.30 pm I have sent RS.153.00 for recharge of 600 mb in my mobile. But I have received message from paytm that my recharge is pending with operator. Kindly inform me the fate.
                                    I need a history of outgoing & incoming sms for my mobile number [protected] for last 10/08/2015 to 10/12/2016. I also need the sms text(transcript) that i have sent and recieved.

                                      In the 1st week of June 2016, I complained to the Customer Care that my internet is not functioning. Next day, they sent a Service Engineer who inspected the line and informed me that the Modem is faulty and I got to replace it. I requested him to do it. He informed that I must get a new Modem, upon which he will come and repair it.
                                      The Engineer, then and there called Airtel and informed this. I told him that for the last one and half year, I am paying Airtel much much more than usage. I am a one man company and I stay out for 15 days every month. Even on the remaining 15 days when I am in office I don't get time to sit on Net or the net has problem or office electric supply has some problem. Thus my monthly consumption is even less that half g.b, whereas I pay a bill of Rs.500/- + every month. I do not wish to buy a new modem so you must disconnect this Land line. He said it is Customer care job.
                                      Immediately, on the same day I telephoned Customer care. I told them to disconnect the phone and that I am not willing to purchase a Modem. The Executive who spoke to me asked me to hold on for a minute. He spoke to his Officer, probably. Then he told me that " you are our client for quite a long period ( since 2007 ), hence we will replace the modem free of charge. I said okay. After 2 days the Service engineer telephoned me and asked whether I bought the device or not? I told him what Customer care executive had told me. However he said that he can not carry out repair unless I get a new modem. Then I telephoned Customer Care that my broadband connection must be disconnected with immediate effect. I told him that I paid May bill. If Airtel wants, they may deduct the current half month's phone rent from the deposit or upon intimation I shall pay the same. FROM THAT DAY I STOPPED USING THIS BROAD BAND CONNECTION. I unplugged the broad band internet connection & kept. As far as I am concerned, there ends our relationship reg this connection.
                                      I locked my office and left for Kerala the next day. When I was in Kerala, a message came to my above mobile number that " the repair is done". IT IS FALSE. No one can enter in my office when I am away.
                                      From that month, Airtel has been billing me. SMS, phone calls etc. asking payment were received, I explained to maximum no of officers who telephoned me. I sent e mails, I sent a regd post Letter to Bharati Airtel Office at Pune-37. In spite of all this, still no action is initiated to disconnect this broad band line. On the other hand, Airtel's last month's bill is Rs.2, 800/+
                                      How can the company raise bill on a non-functioning connection? Especially when it is due to faulty device installed by the company. It is totally unfair on the part of the company to trouble me because, even with suffering, even paying heavily ( much more than utilization), I kept our long standing connection active for all these years ( more than 8 years). You honestly check the usage and payment comparison.
                                      I request that this connection must be cut off, no bills should be levied from June 2016.

                                      Bills raised exorbitantly though the scheme is for Rs. 600/-. No details of bills - outgoing calls provided. I GB data finished in 4-5 days even if it is not used.

                                      Please disconnect mob. No. [protected] with immediate effect. SIM not being used since 08.12.2016, which please note.

                                      pls advise
                                      I have been trying to call few landline numbers in Puducherry from my Airtel Mobile and not able to connect these numbers at all. The call is not even getting through. The same numbers, I can call from other carriers.
                                      Kindly reactivate my airtel phone number, since it is not been used for a period of 12, months.
