I did a full talktime recharge of rs 226 and i got 0 talktime balance. Customer care executive told me the entire balance credited to some dedicated account about which i am completely unaware.
Nowhere it was mentioned that recharge will not give you talk time and give you balance which you cannot use.

Hats off! For these unique ideas.
Searched about it and found complaints similar to this.
I think in this cut throat competition these bogus idea will only make you loose customers. Airtel provides great network connectivity and quality.. But still such things upsets customers.

Anyway rs 266 is very meagre amount but still i thought of sharing my experience.

    I enrolled my corporate airtel no. To airtel money app on nov9. I did 3 transactions (Rs 500, 4600, 4500) to load money in my wallet. Out of which only 1 transaction of 500 got successful, while other 2 got struck in gateway. My account wasn't credited even after a month. Let me know the status of my remaining money (4500, 4600). I had conversation with airtel executives regarding this several times but no reply has been received from them.

    • Nov 10, 2016 : On call with your executive you said it 5 days, I waited – no response.
    • Nov 18, 2016 : I wrote to you, you again said to wait for 5 more days, I waited – Got response that request has been closed!!!
    • Nov 21, 2016 : Reminder email.
    • Nov 22, 2016 : On call I re - opened the request, you said 3 days, I waited – no response !!!
    • Nov 23, 2016: Reminder email.
    • Nov 25, 2015:- Again it was said to me to wait for 3 more days, I waited - no response yet!!!
    • Nov 29, 2016: No reply.
    • Dec 02: Reminder email.
    • Dec 09: Reminder email.
    • Dec 13: Reminder email.
    I haven’t got any update from your end. It’s been 5-7 times now. Highly disappointed!

    Ms. Akanksha Singh, as you mentioned you have shared the resolution details with me, FYI NOTHING has been shared with me till Dec 15, 2016(date on which you replied to my query).
    Refer following conversation after Dec 15, 2016.

    Dec 16, 2016:- Case closed and Jitin Jain told me to elaborate the case. Replied to email with all details.
    Dec 18, 2016:- On call conversation with Deepak Khera. Discussed the case.
    Dec 19. 2016:- Received email from Deepak Khera. He asked for 2 days’ time to work on the same (till Dec 21).
    Dec 20, 2016:- Mail received from Deepak Khera asking Davendra the same. No update to me after that.
    Dec 21, 2016:- No reply received from Deepak Khera even after completion of 2 days. Tarun Jain took up the case, again asked for 2 days’ time to work on the same.
    Dec 25, 2016 :- Case closed without providing any resolution. Instead I was told to contact mobility team.

    FYI, Airtel executives, that's not my job to contact various departments working with Airtel. I just know Airtel as a whole, one brand, from which I need to get in touch in order to receive my money back.
    Please I want my number [protected] call history from Oct 2015 to Jun 2016...this information is related my wife.she was talking with any other boy since this period so I know how long she talk with him...thankyou sir...

      I made a recharge before the expiry of the data pack of 150 rupees something which has validity of 28days. I was already having a balance of 2000mb.
      So i thought to recharge with less amount.
      I called customer care they told that u need to recharge with same amount (249 rupees - that i was doing on my number earlier) to carry forward. So, they are not ready to give back that balance nor ready to compensate the same with money or data pack
      They haven't mentioned anything like this anywhere regarding the way how the data pack are being carry forward.
      Please take the action against them.

        I had recharged my no.[protected] through airtel app. On 05/12/16 for rs. 260/-. Because of network issue may be, i tried five times but was not getting the recharge successful option. After some time five times rs. 260/-deducted from my bank account making it a total of rs.1300.. After few minutes a got two refunds of 260/-each. One amount was recharged. I still have to get refund of 520/ — equivalent to two recharges. I am not getting any response from customer care. They seem to have not information of such issues.

          This is ms debdyuti. My mobile no is [protected]. I recharged 7 day sms pack of rs 11 on december 10/2016. Validity ends on 16/12/2016. But today all sms s are charged @ rs 1 or 1.50. When we tried to contact 121 customer care staff mithun chakraborty was nasty and disgusting arrogant. He misdirected with me.
          Do take corrective action urgently the voice call of arrogant conversation is recorded on my mobile data and i shall publish it in all social media platforms if no corrective action is take.

          Mistakenly recharged a wrong amount of Rs348.00 instead of Rs349.00, TransID:[protected]. I didn't enable/consume the service at all and put a complain to reverse the recharge. AirTel says they don't have any provision for such cases, which is highly regrettable.
          Please revert the amount or adjust it and take back the respective services.

              My tv validity was finished on 05 dec, 2016. I did not recharge as i was going home for travel. On 06 dec, 2016 a message came to my mobile that 03 days credit balance is being added to my account which will be deducted on my next recharge. I called customer care and asked to cancel the credit immediately. He assured me that he will cancel the credited balance. When i came back and recharged my balance by rs.110 /- on 15 dec, 2016, 03 day credit was immediately deducted from my balance which amounts to rs.50/- roughly. I called customer care for refund but he plainly refused. I am filing a complaint to get my money back.

                Though I was informed by Airtel call centre to pay Rs 430/- for 2nd SD connection of Digital TV, the service provider M/S Digital India, Bata Building, Alipurduar, west Bengal took extra charge even after my request.
                The firm concerned refused to give cash memo . On my repeated demand they issued one money receipt.

                    I ran out of prepaid data balance of oround 240 mb and was charged around 100 rs for extra data usage of 10 mb. However i haven't used any applications that should consume such heavy data. Also, there is no way to get to know how and for what is the data used. Again, my data pack has 3 mb balance still money was deducted from my main balance. Plz credit the amount back and revert data

                      Myself premalata behera, a native of odisha having prepaid air tel mobile number [protected] received a message on 14/12/2016 about renewal of hot chillies service in my number. Though i have not send any information about activation of that service rs. 49 has been deducted from my account. I am harshly shocked and wanted to know the reason. I have never been interested for that service. Is that a farce i am surprised? Please help me in returning my deducted amount otherwise air-tel would loss a customer like me.

                        Hi airtel,

                        I bought new 2 airtel sim cards by providing the aadhar card details.

                        But still those 2 sims are not yet activated and further when i approached airtel store they are asking me to get in touch with customer care for no reason.

                        Charging not per as per the tariff rates...your company full talk time offer and rate cutter after recharing these paramaters charging more than a tariff makes us foolish...now i feel its better to move for other sim cards because of your customer care responses and your charging rates...the worst customer care helpline i had ever seen

                        Student — Worst response and charging more mb

                        I am N.Ajith kannan...my mobile num is [protected]...yesterday night i recharge 1gb 3G net pack after recharging i open my whats app and i close it within 5 sec for that they charged 35mb..Now i send the one message in hike and they charged 5mb...even after disabling all the google apps and all active application i send one message they are charging same 5mb to complaint this now i call to customer care they didnt give correct answer and he cancel my call..worst network..irritaed by our company response

                          I have taken 6 months of package and paid at starting only like pre-paid.

                          After 6 months, i have not renewed the package. But company has generated additional 2 months payment and creating panic situation to pay that 2 months amount forcefully.

                          Aitel team called me and i have explained every time regarding this process.
                          But no one responded on this.

                            Airtel bonanza offer - get 9 gb 4g/3g free with a recharge of 1 gb 3g

                            I applied for this offer but now i see that they transfer my 9gb to some dedicate account 281 and i cant use it.
                            What the hell is this dedicated account?
                            When i tried calling, they hang up my call and when i write email to them, never got a reply from them.
                            I used to love airtel for there great connectivity across india, but after this, i lose my faith on airtel
                            My only request is to please transfer that 9gb 3g/4g data to my main account

                              Po[protected], is my complaint number for a false commitment made to me by a customer care executive who promised me to set my firm's name as hello tune rather the airtel tune is playing.

                              I was not at all interested to set any hello tune but for the promotion of my firm the executive convinced me over and over again offering me discounts.

                              This is not the way to sell a service, by lying to a customer.
                              And then after continuous call and complaints on one is ready to offer any solution for the above mentioned problem.

                                  I recharged my mobile with 159 rupees (exclusive offer for my airtel number ) on Dec 13 2016 through airtel official app. It was supposed to recharge my Internet account of 2GB data, however I only got 500MB data.                                       Filled in application for data post paid connection. The executive agreed to activate the connection after doing a speed test in my home. However the executive got busy and was unable to come as committed. Later he gave a solution stating that activate the connection and if not happy with speed walk in to the nearby office and cancel connection free of cost. Unfortunately the speed was very less, so immediately informed customer care and went to nearest airtel office also to terminate the plan. Now I'm charged by airtel for the 2nd consecutive month. I should have spoken to atleast 5 representatives from airtel on the same repeating the whole story but in vain. Attaching the last bill copy.
