Airtel contacted me to port my number from Vodafone to Airtel and lure me for some irresistible offer. They offered me 399 monthly plan which will include 800 local calls, 300 msg and 10 gb 4g data per month, in written as well as verbally.
Soon after i port my number from vodafone to airtel, my cell stopped internet network or data connection.
On contacting Airtel, there officials are now saying that your plan do not have any data plan.
I was shocked and felt cheated on the stop.as to why i left vodafone.
Airtel is a thief. I have there written msg with me with the phone number of their dealer.

    i am waiting for my refund since august 18th. is this the commitment?

      I am writing from Bangalore Rajarajeshwari nagar BEML(on 3rd Dec) I approached the Airtel sales team at BEML layout for the land line + Broad band connection. One of the sales representative Mr. Santhosh ([protected]) came to my residence. He took the ID proof, Photo and 3 Months Advance Check for Rs 3961 /- rupees.

      He promised to install the phone and landline in next 24 hours.

      AFter 5 days of continuous follow-up, I was told by Santhosh that the Landline cannot be provided as house is greater than 200 feet from the nearest switch and they cannot provide connection.

      I asked him to return my Check and documents along with Photo as no connection can be provided... BUT AIRTEL CHEATED ME THERE.

      MY CHECK is credited to AIRTEL ACCOUNT and My DOCUMENTS aare also not returned.

      Its been 3 weeks since then, there is no connection nor any response from them. My money is deducted by Airtel and Airtel is not even answering on why the connection is not made.

      I reached to another per ANAND ([protected]) he told that he was manager of Santhosh. He also just heard my complaint and not taken any action on returning my money / documents till date.

      I feel my documents and check is used by Airtel for some illegal activity.

      AIRTEL SALES PEOPLE ARE CHEATING IN THE DAY LIGHT AND AIRTEL PROBABLY IS ACTING AS THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF THE ISSUE.

      I called 121 to raise complaint and every time the support representative mentioned that their system is down... I requested them to transfer to the next authority they put me on long hold and never return the call back.. This is a very pathetic state of support.

        Hi, i am living in b-822, new ashok nagar delhi. I am using airtel prepaid and network signals are significantly weak near this building. I am not able to make incoming or outgoing calls near my area and if i move more inside the house, signal gets worse. All o[censored]s who are using airtel are facing the same problem. Other network operators are showing good signal in this area. I am using airtel sim from last five years but now i am suffering from airtel.

        I am sorry to say that if such problem will stay then all o[censored]s nearby this area will have to discontinue all the services of airtel and will port to some other operator.

          I have been using airtel number (725xxxxxxx) for past few years. Till yesterday the card was working fine but today morning its showing as sim is not activated and card is not provisioned.
          All my accounts are linked with this number and am not able to do anything. I got this number in bangalore and last week moved to pune.
          I cant call customer care as the sim is deactivated. And when i call from other numbers i am being asked to call from karnataka number or [protected] but when i call the second number the representatives didnt provide any support and they said they deactivated as their database is not updated. Because their database is not updated how can they deactivated my simcard. Now am not able to access any of my bank account because of their negligance.
          When they are not concerned about customers then why are they providing fake service.

          I need some action to be taken asap.

          I submitted this complaint but its been marked as resolved without any solution.
          I have been following up but there is no response..

          I have submitted the required docs as mentioned in marathalli airtel showroom but i didnt get the simcard. I even dropped a mail to airrel presence [protected]@in. Airtel.com but i didnt get even a single response. I dont have any bangalore number here to call the customer care in bangalore now am in the middle of no where.. It seems just for a name sake i got a reply..

          Later if i called airtel i will get a response that airtel database has not been updated that i have submitted the documents.. And thhe complaint has been marked as resolved without any solution.

            I called Airtel the best open network in India as they proclaim. I called them and after all the IVR hurdles and as they prompt to press 9 to speak to an executive I did and I get a message"the number yo have dialled is not valid, please check the number you have dialled". Their systems are down but I have a complaint 2 weeks back for which they said you will get a call on Sunday(last Sunday).this is ridiculous. When I said I am a customer with you for the last 9 years, the representative says we have customers more than your tenure with us. All this for being there. Also they have no respect.

              Airtel service is becoming pathetic day by day network coverage & 4g services are hopeless as always i regret changing from vodafone to airtel if i use 4g after every 2 minutes it says no service i have to everytime remove & re enter my sim is this what airtel the so called best service provider is hmm it's just hopeless that's all i can say hmm this issue i have been facing since last 10 odd days and i think it will be better if i change my service provider to vodafone i would never recommend airtel as a service provider to anyone not even to my enemy as the services that airtel provides are just pathetic that's all i can say

                    My Airtel Digital TV has not been working for the past couple of weeks and I had raised a complaint on December 17th with SR#57284689.

                    They assured that it would be resolved in 24 hours. Since it was not done, I called them back again (their 1800 number was not working in CHN) and was told that it would be resolved on 12/21 (Wednesday)

                    When it was not resolved, called them back again on Thursday. They confirmed that it would be resolved by EOD on Thursday or max by 24 hours ie., Friday afternoon.

                    Since it was not resolved, I reached out again and sought help to terminate the service. They assured for a call back however since I did not receive a call back. Called them back again on Friday afternoon. This time, they told that I would receive a call back at 3 pm. Since I did not get a call back at 3, called them again. Now, I was told that it would be resolved in 2 hours. Since I did not get a call back in 2 hours also, (now it is anybody's guess that a call back is a distant dream), I tried reaching however could not. Not sure if they are deliberately not allowing me to talk with the supervisors.

                    since this will not be resolved, I just need the process of terminating my subscription with Airtel DTH so that I can move on.

                    I am constantly told that this is because of Cyclone Varadah however I want to insist that my dish is intact and i had problems twice and the engineers fixed it before however not this time. Perhaps, is it because I told that I wont pay for the same complaint???????

                        This is very unfortunate that my complain has not been answered well and after the behavior of your lady customer care girl who has threttened me on mobile N.[protected], am planning to switch over to Tata Sky Tv.
                        1. My TV has stopped on 19 Dec 16 as I had recharged in advance for 12 months pack Value special at Rs 1947/- as per your message received on 4 Apr 16.

                        Airtel person cheated me and my all bank staff..
                        We got different plan than we have been explained.

                          My sim with no: [removed] is not being recognized by phone/network. On 21st December, 2016 (day before yesterday), a message something like this: "SIM not registered in network" is popped up in my phone. From that moment, that sim is not working. I have already contacted customer care and raise an online complaint but there is no response from them. Hence, raising the complaint in ConsumerComplaints forum.

                          For you notice, I didn’t get any working resolution details from you. I have visited Airtel Office and paid Rs. 150/- to replace the old sim with new one (with same number). Reason mentioned by the person there is: As it's a old number series it's de-activated. I am going to file a complaint/case against Airtel in consumer court regarding this. As per Airtel, my sim card’s expiry date is in 2037 but it’s suddenly de-activated in 2016 itself and none among your support guys know the reason of de-activation. Why am I charged Rs. 150/- for something which you guys messed up?

                            I AM vinit tyagi my address is office no-36 IIIRD floor f-58 sector 11 noida -201301. I applied for a new airtel DSL Router connection and i gave the all documents and cheque of amount rs 1000 in favour of bharti airtel limited ( cheque no-031728 icici bank) the cheque has been cleared on 28/10/2016 but the person was saying that the connection is not available at this location. after that an other person gave me seurty about connection for that i gave all the documents and cheque of amount rs 1000 in favour of bharti airtel limited ( cheque no-716486 indusind bank) the other cheque has been cleared on 5/11/2016 now the both person is not picking my phone CEF NO- N4840923 A/C NO-[protected] and landline no[protected] airtel comitted me to refund me on 19/12/2016 i have given all the documents and cancelled cheque but airtel didn't refund my money till now please take action and look in to this case

                              Airtel superstore got activated and debited my rs 235
                              I contacted the airtel customer care.They r telling that its a value added service that i hav activated.
                              They told that it activates if we touch any link in d internet, but in my case, the service was activated when i did not even touch the internet the complete day .
                              i have no idea how airtel can activate such service without proper authentication ?
                              if no proper solution from airtel i m planning to port to other network

                                  Hi This is somasekhar residing at Chennai.

                                  I am not getting Vedio signal for my Airtel dth from 13th Dec till now.
                                  I am calling Airtel customer care daily but unable to connect them getting voice message saying all lines are very busy like that.

                                  After I keep on trying out of 10 times able to connect one time and raised a complaint related to above issue. Every day customer care people saying today issue will be resolved but nobody called or tried to resolve this issue. After so much fight with customer care they gave 2 service engineers numbers when I tried calling them they are not even picking the calls. I have called them so many times but no reply from them.

                                      Hi,

                                      I am from Chennai. My fixed line number is[protected]. On Dec 1st, I raised a request to 121 to change my broadband and fixed line services to my new location (villivakkam). They checked with me about the zip code, they said they will send me the technicians soon. No one appeared. In between Chennai was affected by cyclone. I was okay till one week after that. But still no one appeared. And I started giving multiple reminders. They said in this new location PORT migration is going one and it will take 48 hours. I waited. Finally on Dec 21st I gave a reminder. Dec 22nd I got a call from a lady to inform that they will not give me the connection as PORT is not available. I asked for the timeline when they can give. She said no timeline can be given. Also she asked me to call the customer care to put the connection on hold. But why should I? I need connection and putting hold is the solution? She is asking me to wait, till some other customer shift their home to different location leaving their port free.

                                      Same day another guy called me from billing department asking me to pay the previous month's bill where in I requested to waive off the 4 days which I did not use. (My billing cycle ends on 4th of every month). He sent an email with waived amount. I asked him to transfer the call to the technical department. He said he will ask someone to call after 5 mins. NO ONE called. I called the customer support and a guy called Santhosh picked. He explained me everything but that is not going to help me. I need a solution. He gave me Appellete's number and email address. When I tried they did not pick my call but sometimes it is busy. When they are continuously avoiding my phone call, how come they are able to attend other's phone.

                                      My questions to Airtel,

                                      1) Port availability is company's problem or customer's problem?
                                      2) When a company knows that they are running out of port, they should have a planned alternative what will they provide to the new customers or already existing customers like me moving to this location. If there is no alternative, then should think about installing new PORT. Why did you fail there?
                                      Airtel like standard company will not strategies? Then why are we believing them as standard company.
                                      3) When there is no PORT availability why are have "AD Boards" in every gate of my location that "Airtel broadbank 40mps speed for Rs. 999". I checked with them about that, they said even for that they need port. When you are not able to provide, why give Advertisement?
                                      4) Why do you advertise in TV that even in Village / Forest Airtel internet works? when you are not able to give connection in Chennai City.
