Dear Sirplease refer my complaint Dt:26.8.2016 regarding activation of my sim no:[protected] which is still not resolved even after submission of documents to the airtel store of paschim vihar jwalaheri market New Delhi110063.
On calling customer care response is that they have not received any documents for the said number regarding activating for the same. This is really disturbing. Am not able to have a connection since 23.08.16 despite of my regular followup.
Request you to activate the same at the earliest

Company first called me personally on my alternate number took details from me then side by side they were updating on this consumer site too on this issue and further they mailed me solution within 2-3 days from [email protected] that I can again get my fresh sim for same number by submitting documents at airtel store. I submitted and they told me that it will get activated within 48hrs. Although it took more than 48hours to get activate approx 4-5days but finally got activated and am happy I got my old number activated back.     Dear sir,
    My grand daughter have shifted to usa for good and the mobile number [protected] is no more in use for more than 2 months. i requested airtel to de-activate it and [protected]@in. airtel.com informed 0n 30/07/16 that within 2 hours
    Our representative shall call you. (here it is worthwhile to inform that i had informed that the phone was carried by my grand daughter to usa and gave them my mobile no. [protected]) the mail came from 121 which doesn't want any response from customers. nobody had contacted till date. no idea how the problem is going to be resolved though i have paid bills up to july 2016.

    Today Airtel representative called me to confirm deactivation request. I told her that I received SMS from HDFC about pending bill against this number and the last date for payment is 11/9/16. On her assurance about deactivation within 5 minutes of receipt of balance amount Rs587.41, I paid the amount online and Tr. ID is [protected]. Hope it will be deactivated now. Thanx a lot to the forum.

    I have received SMS from HDFC that a new Airtel bill for Rs. 267.39 has been generated and its due date for payment is 12/10/2016. This creates doubt whether Airtel has deactivated [protected] as promised on 8/9 /2016. Bills are being generated without using numbers.

    As per email from Airtel it was balance cycle bill up to the date of activation. I have transferred the money to their link(as per email). I presume this case has been resolved.

      I would like to bring to your kind attention that my Airtel landline is not working for the past two weeks and I have visited your customer care center multiple times. Being a Senior Citizen I have requested to get the issue resolved and there hasn't been any activity till date. Very annoyed and sad with the complaints are handled by executives in Sector - 20 ( Panchula) branch. Every time I go they set wrong expectations that we are sending some one and no one visits. I would like you to kindly take a note of how much I am dissatisfied with my experience and if this situation prevails then I will have to change my service provider. Hope my email shall get the ball rolling and you guys will try to resolve my issue on priority.

          In last month i register complain two time and one time i directly contact your technician to solve my problem. His name is Jayesh bhai, First time he change video cable and before some day i face same issue so i register complain once again with ref Id: 54860116. Before two days he came and he want to change cable once again so today i change video cable but still problem is not solved. now what i have to do...? I give around 600 rs to solve my problem but still problem is not solved.

            Recently i have taken Airtel broadband connection after that i received a call from airtel telecaller and she offered Rs 399 rental plans for MNP. I agreed and sales executive came and collected my proofs.
            When my vodafone connection was disconnected, i insert airtel SIM but "No service"
            When i contacted customer care, they said my SIM number & SIM number updated in airtel database were not matching. And they denied to register complaint because my number was not active. No response from Nodal officer because no complaint number.

            It took more than 72 hours to deliver new SIM and activate it. I could not make any transactions & my business was lost totally.

            After 2 weeks, on 6th September mid night onwards my outgoing calls were barred.
            then i contact customer care, they said simply that my address verification is failed.
            But no communication (SMS/email/call) from airtel that my address verification failed. If they would have informed earlier or if someone would have contacted it could have been solved easily.

            Next morning (today 7th September) i went to nearest airtel showroom and submitted proof again. without contacting/verifying me they unbarred outgoing calls.

            Below are my quries, need a valid and proper response. Don't send generic/default reply.

            1. Airtel sales / agent updated incorrect SIM number in your database. why shoud i suffer because of your mistake. No apologies from airtel so far.
            How airtel will bear my business loss due to delay in activation?

            2. Without communication they barred outgoing calls. this is also a mistake from your end as no one contacted for it.

            3. I am using airtel digital TV ([protected]-001) airtel broadband ([protected]) and airtel mobile ([protected]). is this the way airtel treat their customers?
            asking multiple proofs for each service? no proper response from customer care & Nodal officer and no other way to contact anyone.

              I have a Karnataka's Airtel number, I requested for call details through Airtel my account. They send me only outgoing call details and data usages details, But I also want incoming Call details. Please briefly explain how can I get incoming call details as it is very important For me. Actually there were some number in incoming call log and I forget to save it in my mobile.
              1 day I took out that SIM from my mobile for checking old one SIM is working or not and after that I saw all the call history got clear.

                Dear Executive / Whomsoever is concerned,

                This is with regard to a complaint I lodged with the customer care for Digital TV ID - [protected], registered mobile - [protected]. Complaint No - 548905

                The complaint was that there was no signal being relayed to the Set Top Box. I was informed by the engineer that there is something wrong with the Dish Antenna.

                The dish antenna is placed on the terrace above rain roofing and there is a slight wedge through it is accessible. The engineer attending to the problem was frank enough to say that he cannot do it, but he will send some one else to do the same.

                My problem is with your customer care and complaint handling department who have no idea how to deal with the issues. I get a call from the CC to say that they are closing the issue as the Engineer cannot repair the dish since it is inaccessible. I asked him a simple question, " Yes the dish is inaccessible, yes it is risky, but if you cannot repair give me a what next solution. What am I supposed to do with a non functional dish antenna and Set Top Box? Should I continue paying the rent on that forever? Your executives have no answer to this and they are stuck on the reply that it cannot be repaired and it is risky."

                Granted that it is risky but what is the solution? Your executives are imbecile and totally unprepared for resolving issues on the ground. What use are they except for answering calls and closing issues on the system. It is a really pathetic situation.
                And on top of all this, some other technician expects me to provide him with a glider for repairing the dish. Am I repairman / technician tradesman to stock all the equipment? If I were I would have repaired it on my own.

                  I am an airtel customer and I have been using this number[protected] for atleast 3 years and now for past 6 months I have shifted to Dubai but I have been getting messages to this number and it was active.

                  But now the number is not active and its shows no network and I have been trying to call your airtel office but not able to reach you. Now they are saying that the number is deactivated as I did not use for 90 days, but they should have called or messaged to my number telling the same I would have recharged my phone.

                  Kindly request you to please re activate my number as it is very important.

                      7*24 hours but nobody attends the customer. Ur call is unimportanat to us. Call may be recorded. What the airtel authorities are doing. Let them call to 121 and taste the best service of airtel. I called today to shift my broadband connection from coimbatore to tirupathi. My call was not important. So i decided to avail some other connection at tpty.

                        Hi dear airtel team
                        I am not able to surfing a airtel 3g from previous 2 month. I have unlimited data plan (1gb 3g speed after that 2g) but previous 2 months i am not getting 3g. I called customer care also he said switch off your mobile and remove the sim card than after 1 min re insert the sim card. I done the all thing witch he said to me but still nothing happend. I am still getting 2 g network on my mobile phone i am using apple 4s. Please do the need full as soon as possible.

                          I recharged my airtel prepaid sim with recent rs1499 4g mobile pack special offer, which offers,

                          Rs1499 -
                          "1gb 3g/4g 28 days. Now for 1 year get 1gb 3g/4g 28 [protected]@ just rs53, 2gb 3g/4g @ rs95, 5gb 3g/4g 28 [protected]@ rs255
                          Validity: 28 days".

                          But soon after this my airtel network switched to 3g only and never went to 4g.

                          After observing this i recharged with rs9 data pack which offers 35mb. Network switched to 4g till 35mb was used up. Then again went back to 3g and never returned again. I tried this few times and every time i observed this.

                          Airtel is cheating by limiting us with 3g only whereas it advertises rs1499 special offers as 4g mobile packs.

From the very moment if activation onwards i am the one who is using this connection and paying bills. The original address updated is so old that the person or address no longer valid.                               Dear admin,

                              I have initiated an online recharge of rs.257 for my airtel mobile no: [protected] with the transaction id bearing no:[protected] dt.6.9.2016.

                              I was successfully directed to bank site (Corporation bank) and i have done the payment for which i have received the confirmation from bank mentioning the reference number:[protected].

                              But after making the payment i was not redirected to merchant site. I am amazed to see that neither my number received the said recharge of rs.257 nor i have received any mail from merchant site saying about unsuccessful transaction.

                              Kindly look into the matter and resolve the issue.

                                I am using 8 mbps data speed plan of airtel for past 1 year. But the actual speed provided by airtel is 4.55 to 5 mbps max. I have raised this issue in past also and proved the same to technical representative from airtel who visited to check my speed

                                Technical representative from airtel who visited my house on 3rd sept'16 has confirmed the data speed provided to my connection is far below 8 mbps

                                He did thorough checking of modem, cabling and other hardware in my residential area and confirmed to the concern i have raised regarding slow data speed

                                Same was communicated to customer care and as a solution i was asked to study the connection speed for next 3 days

                                Today received an sms from airtel
                                Tating - my issue has been resolved??? (Snapshot attached)

                                How can you resolve the issue of your own??? When i am still getting speed of 4.55 mbps (Snapshot attached) against promised speed
                                Of 8 mbps

                                Airtel has been fraudulent charging me for 8 mbps data connection for past 12 months whereas airtel hardware and cable in my area does not support speed above 4.5 mbps this was categorically proved to the technical representative from airtel on 3rd sept'16

                                This is like day light robbery and cheating customers
                                I have been fraudulently charged for past 12 months

                                I spoke to technical leader from Airtel Vega Center, Pune on 7th Sept'16 and he admitted that Airtel cables in Flower Valley society ( place where I reside) does not support 8 mbps speed and he is looking into what possible he can do to address my concern

                                It's really shocking to know - when everyone at Airtel technical team is aware of the fact that Airtel cables in my area does not support 8 mbps speed then how come Airtel is selling fraudulent plans of 8 mbps speed for past 12 months in first place and cheating customers ???????

                                Why i have been charged rental for 8 mbps data plan for past 12 months when Airtel hardware/cables does not support the 8 mbps speed ???

                                My Airtel broadband connection is "AGAIN" dead since morning

                                I am really disgusted and out of patience with third class
                                -grocery shop types services from Airtel

                                Once in 3 days Airtel cust. care ppl call me from different locations and I have to explain same problem over and over again to diff. set of ppl. I fail to understand what is so confusing and puzzling about my problem. Knowingly every Airtel rep. right from Technical to Customer care acts ignorant in-spite knowing the fact that "Airtel cables & hardware does not support 8 mbps speed in my residential area" and keeps on giving me false assurance to resolve my slow data speed issue . "This is like height of fraud and cheating customers"

                                  I already spend money in internet recharge on [protected] of rs.1498 on 04/09/2016, message received trans id.[protected], now need to recharge 5 gb at rs.259 for 28 days but no inline link show, even 198 not able to connect directly customer care, they just say punch this no. That no.- i personally have believe in air tel services poor, please help urgently or should i along with my friend group choose reliance jio. At least provide a link to further use this concern internet facility rs.1498, network of internet also broken since last 05 days - is there have any feedback facility in aitel to keep customer happy, please resolve this issue for avail the airtel 4g latest sept 2016 services as promise, message received.                                     Airtel cant assist. did mnp to airtel. ported today, verification call done at 8:15 am. was told it will be active in 30 min. escalated to 2 flr supvrs & flr mgr. its 8 hrs and its not active yet.

                                    Two of my number are stuck to be active. this is a pathetic experience when they have 4 hours sla to resolve any incident and its been 8+ hours that i do not have anyway to stay connected.

                                    I cant believe these people cant implement a solution as i was told they know the solution.

                                      My number [protected] has been deducted 245 rs by hot chillies by auto-renewal.. When i asked airtel customer support, they are casually saying that we can only deactivate it and refund cannot be given. I did not opt for hot chillies and i did not give authorisation to airtel to allow auto-renewal.. No wonder people are changing to jio. With such cheating tactics, anything is better than airtel..
