I am using Airtel postpaid connection for my Mobile and the "SO CALLED OPEN NETWORK" at my premises is VERY VERY VERY BAD (Can't express more frustration) and it tests your patience to the maximum. When checked in open network it shows excellent signal at our area which is a wrong info. You are simply fooling around the people with open network concept showing false information, but the reality is nowhere near by. After repeated calls/complaints from my friend (who stays in the same community) and me, they responded now saying that they are looking for a new site for the upgradation of the tower which takes 3-6 months. What is the point of keeping this connection and pay bills if we can't use it at my home?
For this reason, I thought I will get a landline connection and called Airtel (unfortunately) broadband to get me a Broadband connection as they provide the landline connection along with it. I have asked my previous Broadband vendor to get make the disconnection and requested Airtel for the new Broadband/Landline connection. The Airtel Sales Rep. has informed that they will give me a free wifi-router and landline instrument if I pay the 6 months bill in advance which I went for. During the installation, they did not give me the landline instrument and told me that it will be given in 3-4 days, which did not happen. I called again after 4days, they are saying 2more days and it will be availble this week.
Currently, Neither I can make calls from my mobile, nor the Landline. And, in the LandLine account, I see that 13Rs. as billed amount, not sure if it can happen without me having the Landline instrument, looks like some aliens are making calls from my virtual landline connection.

Updated by Kishore Surisetty Btw, the Broadband internet is also poor. The previous vendor is far better in terms of download and upload speed.
