I recharged my airtel prepaid sim with recent rs1499 4g mobile pack special offer, which offers,

Rs1499 -
"1gb 3g/4g 28 days. Now for 1 year get 1gb 3g/4g 28 [protected]@ just rs53, 2gb 3g/4g @ rs95, 5gb 3g/4g 28 [protected]@ rs255
Validity: 28 days".

But soon after this my airtel network switched to 3g only and never went to 4g.

After observing this i recharged with rs9 data pack which offers 35mb. Network switched to 4g till 35mb was used up. Then again went back to 3g and never returned again. I tried this few times and every time i observed this.

Airtel is cheating by limiting us with 3g only whereas it advertises rs1499 special offers as 4g mobile packs.

      Change of name and address for the postpaid connection i use

      Myself anil, airtel postpaid connection mobile number [protected]. This connection was taken in my friends name about 6+ years back. From the very moment if activation onwards i am the one who is using this connection and paying bills. The original address updated is so old that the person or address no longer valid. Person is moved out of country as well.
      I want this connection to be changed to my name and address. For the same when...

      Dear admin,

      I have initiated an online recharge of rs.257 for my airtel mobile no: [protected] with the transaction id bearing no:[protected] dt.6.9.2016.

      I was successfully directed to bank site (Corporation bank) and i have done the payment for which i have received the confirmation from bank mentioning the reference number:[protected].

      But after making the payment i was not redirected to merchant site. I am amazed to see that neither my number received the said recharge of rs.257 nor i have received any mail from merchant site saying about unsuccessful transaction.

      Kindly look into the matter and resolve the issue.

        I am using 8 mbps data speed plan of airtel for past 1 year. But the actual speed provided by airtel is 4.55 to 5 mbps max. I have raised this issue in past also and proved the same to technical representative from airtel who visited to check my speed

        Technical representative from airtel who visited my house on 3rd sept'16 has confirmed the data speed provided to my connection is far below 8 mbps

        He did thorough checking of modem, cabling and other hardware in my residential area and confirmed to the concern i have raised regarding slow data speed

        Same was communicated to customer care and as a solution i was asked to study the connection speed for next 3 days

        Today received an sms from airtel
        Tating - my issue has been resolved??? (Snapshot attached)

        How can you resolve the issue of your own??? When i am still getting speed of 4.55 mbps (Snapshot attached) against promised speed
        Of 8 mbps

        Airtel has been fraudulent charging me for 8 mbps data connection for past 12 months whereas airtel hardware and cable in my area does not support speed above 4.5 mbps this was categorically proved to the technical representative from airtel on 3rd sept'16

        This is like day light robbery and cheating customers
        I have been fraudulently charged for past 12 months

        I spoke to technical leader from Airtel Vega Center, Pune on 7th Sept'16 and he admitted that Airtel cables in Flower Valley society ( place where I reside) does not support 8 mbps speed and he is looking into what possible he can do to address my concern

        It's really shocking to know - when everyone at Airtel technical team is aware of the fact that Airtel cables in my area does not support 8 mbps speed then how come Airtel is selling fraudulent plans of 8 mbps speed for past 12 months in first place and cheating customers ???????

        Why i have been charged rental for 8 mbps data plan for past 12 months when Airtel hardware/cables does not support the 8 mbps speed ???

        My Airtel broadband connection is "AGAIN" dead since morning

        I am really disgusted and out of patience with third class
        -grocery shop types services from Airtel

        Once in 3 days Airtel cust. care ppl call me from different locations and I have to explain same problem over and over again to diff. set of ppl. I fail to understand what is so confusing and puzzling about my problem. Knowingly every Airtel rep. right from Technical to Customer care acts ignorant in-spite knowing the fact that "Airtel cables & hardware does not support 8 mbps speed in my residential area" and keeps on giving me false assurance to resolve my slow data speed issue . "This is like height of fraud and cheating customers"

        this morning inquiring resolution to my problem of slow browsing speed.. when broadband is dead and not working since morning what resolution Airtel cust. reps. are talking ???? I wonder what do they smoke...

        AIRTEL broadband service is getting pathetic to worst day by day

        I have been raising issue of slow browsing speed for past 12 months and every now and then my broadband connection is either dead or unstable and very smartly i receive user manual from Airtel - how to effectively manage your data speed ???????? How enlightening ??? When Airtel technical lead from Pune has admitted to non supportive hardware cables for high speed net ...what else clarity you need ????

        My net became working @ 7 pm today which was dead since morning and when i checked my speed its still shows 6.5 mbps ?????????

        I have not received any call or mail regarding any resolution
        All I have received so far is "user manual from Airtel - how to effectively manage your data speed" is this the resolution you are talking ... ?????????????

        Please don't bluff and lie on public platform like Consumer complaints

        I would love to see copy of resolution mail which you have sent me as mentioned in your mail above

        I tried to escalate my complain to appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com
        ( As per Airtel's advt in Times of India dated 15th Sept'16) snapshot attached

          I already spend money in internet recharge on [protected] of rs.1498 on 04/09/2016, message received trans id.[protected], now need to recharge 5 gb at rs.259 for 28 days but no inline link show, even 198 not able to connect directly customer care, they just say punch this no. That no.- i personally have believe in air tel services poor, please help urgently or should i along with my friend group choose reliance jio. At least provide a link to further use this concern internet facility rs.1498, network of internet also broken since last 05 days - is there have any feedback facility in aitel to keep customer happy, please resolve this issue for avail the airtel 4g latest sept 2016 services as promise, message received.             Airtel cant assist. did mnp to airtel. ported today, verification call done at 8:15 am. was told it will be active in 30 min. escalated to 2 flr supvrs & flr mgr. its 8 hrs and its not active yet.

            Two of my number are stuck to be active. this is a pathetic experience when they have 4 hours sla to resolve any incident and its been 8+ hours that i do not have anyway to stay connected.

            I cant believe these people cant implement a solution as i was told they know the solution.

              My number [protected] has been deducted 245 rs by hot chillies by auto-renewal.. When i asked airtel customer support, they are casually saying that we can only deactivate it and refund cannot be given. I did not opt for hot chillies and i did not give authorisation to airtel to allow auto-renewal.. No wonder people are changing to jio. With such cheating tactics, anything is better than airtel..

                There was a call from Airtel regarding it and the reply is that I did it from my laptop by using the website of Airtel Mobile pre- paid recharge and payment was made through credit card. Please see to it.

                  My landline number of airtel is not working for the last 4 -5 days, i had the visited their office yesterday near vardhman plaza, meerut in the morning at around 11 o clock and they just said we had registered your complaint and your phone will be up and running till 5 pm evening, i said alright. But it is still not got up so i visit again to the office and when i told them it is still not working they gave me the customer care number (What the hell is this?).

                  Then its still okay i call on that number and they said its too late, we will arrange some technician kind of visit in the next morning till 12 noon but no one shows up till 12 :30 pm. So i called them again and they said your complaint will be resolved today.

                  How can you do this. You don't have kind of tat for the costumer complaints, then why you are running such companies.

                  I am not satisfied with this company service at all.
                  Please all don't use airtel connection due to the poor costumer satisfaction.

                    Airtel is discontinuing iptv in gurgaon and asked us to change ours to dish tv at airtels' expense. This has been an extremely difficult task. The engineer came and said he needed a ladder to climb up to the roof. The one used was not acceptable to him. I consistently asked the main office to help with this even if it meant that a ladder is hired and we paid for it - the 85 year old lady living there could hardly arrange for it all.
                    Giving up i finally bought a ladder and informed the main office yesterday of it's availability. Today i get a call saying that this is now a charged request and that airtel needs to be paid for it.

                    This is not acceptable to me and is plain harassment for a customer

Same day your pickup boy came at my office and collect my document. After 8 to 10 days past but no one call me or no active my card. Finally i call to your service call center then he rply processed not completed due to verification. If verification not completed who inform me? After post on fb some one call me from your team and assure me my problem has been resolved. After that no improvement then i again mail to your 3rd level escalation email id ([protected]@in. Airtel.com). After one day i received a call from your service end miss anchal she assure me my problem resolved within 3 days. And same day again your pickup boy mr suri mr. Suri mob ([protected]) he came at my office and pick up same document.
                      And inform me that its solve till 2nd. Almost total 14 days has been past but no improvement.
                      My idea sim card not working on 2/06/2016 and then i insert airte number there are no network.in morning i visit at my nearest airtel service center he say your verification could not successful so its pending.

                      Again i call me this number [protected] she provide me a contact number [protected]. I call this number and he say me its pending for your bank statement. And provide me to mail on - [protected]@gmail.com. I send my document within hour because i really face i biggest problem i have no way to contact people. My office guys all ready worried about not reachable my contact. I call 3 time but no any help from end. He say my problem resolved 7 o clock but i still face that problem. I really face a disgusting
                      Ervice from airtel. Finally i again visit at your nearest different service center but i have received a foolish rply that - we have no connection of wifi so i unable to help u. I really do i biggest mistake of my life to change my sim in airtel circle.

                      Now today i gain visit idea service center but thet say my sim card permanent connected dew to mnp in airtel.
                      Please help me i have no choice.

                      Worst ever cheats. Your web mentioned 1000 for installating and in reality you people askes 3000₹. Gone through a lot trying to resolve the issue. But now even changing the sim card from airtel.

                      One request, please stop cheating people so openly. We may be indians but we do have a threshold limit. Dint push us beyond it.

                            We have 10 connection in our organization and every month 12 our bills will generate within 3 to 4 days we will transfer bill amount through rtgs after transferring the amount we are following and sending so many reminder with airtel team for posting amount to our 10 numbers but they are not ready and not showing interesting for posting and after due date they will send mail that send rtgs details again and near 9th or 10th they are posting and 12th bill will generate with late fee amount every month we are paying late fee. Past 4 months we are paying late fee and not providing late fee waver also.
                            Airtel service is very poor and pathetic.

                              I'm fedup of complaining again and again about this already. This is the 3rd time i'm typing this crap complaint. My mobile data is again reducing at a high speed even when i switched off the mobile data for all apps. I recharged for 14rs.net pack and when i turned on the mobile data it just got used up within a flash. I've heard about godspeed in internet connection speed. But this is the upside down condition of it. Also the internet services are very poor.in bangalore, the 4g network is very very very very poor. Please check this problem of mobile data being used up until i get a new reliance jio sim.

                                I have booked new airtel dth connection on friday 02/09/2016. I was promised technician will visit on saturday 03/09/2016 at 11:00am sharp. I was waiting for the technician to come but no one called or came until 12. Again when i called customer care they said they'll come before 6o clock but nothing such happened. My full day got wasted waiting. Today 05/09/2016 when again i complained and asked them to cancel the booking they asked for one last chance and said technician will be at my place by 5 o clock but even today no one turned up. I want to cancel the booking and thank airtel for wasting my 2 full days with false promises.. Imagine if your service for new connection is like this what about existing service customers.. Friends think twice before selecting airtel dth connection.

                                  I have an airtel postpaid sim o[censored]p east and wanted it to be converted to airtel prepaid sim o[censored]p east. when i went to airtel store (near gourde kanpur) on 25-aug-2016 and filled the form along with submission of photo and driving license (dl) as permanent address proof, they said the porting will complete within 2 days and gave me an airtel prepaid sim. 3 days later i called and informed them that porting is not completed yet, and they said that airtel office has refused to recognise my dl as address proof and i should send voter id or aadhar card. even though dl is considered as proof of address. thereafter i submitted my aadhar as well as voter id fearing that they might reject one of them.
                                  Ever since then i have been calling the airtel store daily and they are giving me lame reasons like our server went down, id was not accepted etc. today (05-sep-2016), when i called them they said it will be done by evening. now my airtel postpaid has sopped working (since before 05:00 pm) and my airtel prepaid is not activated yet (till 09:00 pm). when i called and enquired about the issue, they said we don't know what happened and will sort it out soon. they cut my call before i can enquire about how soon?
                                  I just want my number ported from postpaid to prepaid as soon as possible.

                                    There was a deduction of 40 rs from my number [protected] unnecessarily. when i called the customer care they told i used data from my main balance but since my data pack was not over without any reason they deducted 40 rs, i am sure that there was 13 Mb left since my validity gets over and the customer care people talked without any manners.so kindly inform them to be refund my deducted money and speak politely to the customers.
