House of model service has been activated by airtel without my consent and amount 75 has been deducted from my main account.This is 5 time that airtel deducted my amount unnecessarily.I have to register complaint at TRAI this time..Kindly do needful.regards Arun Kumar Negi.

    Wrongly charged for data

    whenever I am using WiFi connection getting pop up stating data is been used and Data is deducted for data balance. I am thinking to lodge a FIR against Airtel Telecom for fraud. I reported and mailed to [protected]@in.airtel.com to ask why data is charged.This reply i got from their end:

      This is regarding the Bill amount issue for Airtel Chennai Postpaid Mobile Number - [protected]: The user of this mobile number is illiterate. She was using the mobile assuming that there will be an alert if she speaks too much. But she recently got a Bill Amount of INR 8000+ for the month of January 2016.

      She is not afford to pay such a huge amount. Even for Corporate Employees, they set a Credit Limit not more than 2500 INR. But on what basis, they set a huge credit limit or no credit limit for this illiterate lady i dont know.

      Even I have written a mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com to come to a reasonable amount for settlement and waiting for their response.

      Since the connection is live and she continued talking without knowing the impact of receiving such huge amount of Bill. Still the connection is live and no one blocked it even after informed to Customer Care in 198.

      Now she is helpless and cannot afford to pay such a huge amount. She is ready to settle some reasonable amount and requesting Airtel representatives who are continuously calling her and troubling her to make payment immediately.

      Could you please intervene to help this person. thanks.

        In Nov 2015 i recharged with a airtel pack of Rs.396/- ( plan for 2G data valid for 90 days), problem occurred when 90 days completed and on 30.01.2016 deducted rs 396 from my balance saying the pack you activated in nov15 was auto renew pack, which according to me was never informed to me by airtel.

        though i had provided them with all recharge messages & summary, they are denying my refund. issue was already escalated to airtels appellate, however it remained unresolved what should i do.

        please advise

          My recent experience with Airtel broadband has been one of a kind nightmare. The service outage was due to hampered distribution box of the main cable on 20th Jan 2016 night. Upon calling up local area service engineer he could not give any ETA on the issue resolution and my numerous followups with customer care (on 121) they kept increasing the deadline of resolution. Finally the connection was restored on 27th Jan 2016 vide sms [Your Ref. no. 63876760 regarding Connection Not Working for your fixedline/broadband [protected] has been resolved. For assistance, please call customer care.].

          For this entire duration of 8 days i was unable to work from home and missed my deadlines. Consequently it hampered my work significantly. I had to find an alternative for my work to be up and running so i hadto buy MTS wifi for 1500 rupees around end if the month when i was already financially low. Hence at this point of time my work in hampered alongwith financial loss too.

          Post restoration airtel promised to provide me a waiver for the the outage however they cannot compensate me beyond this for my time work and money loss, hence i am not happy about thier resolution time and the response provided thereafter

            I have been using Airtel broadband services since several years.
            In December 2015 I got many calls from Airtel customer care or promotional team to avail "Top-up" unlimited STD/local outgoing calls.
            Then I had requested (Order ID:[protected] for the activation of "Top-Up" on 10th-Jan-2016.
            Till now I don't see any progress in spite of many follow-ups with customer care, Nodal officer and Appellate authority.
            Even I have escalated this issue to Nodal team & Appellate authority. They use to reply with standard message
            " Basis your email, please be informed that we have already highlighted your issue to the concerned team and they are working towards resolving your issue. They will get back to you with an update on the same at the earliest. Please bear with us!".

            I really fed up with the responses and don't know whom should I approach to resolve the issue.

            Once upon a time Airtel services was really good. Now the quality of their service is very poor and it's becoming worse year on year and not keeping up to mark. It's not only my opinion, even my colleague also facing lot of issues with Airtel services.

            I shall provide the email conversation b/w me and Nodal officer/Appellate authority, if required.

            Is Airtel resolve my issue?

                I think I had been accommodating enough on this issue. I strongly feel that the issue is not at all understood even by the top level. If this is the level of comprehension at the top level I had to pardon the guys working at low level.

                I don't know if as a service provider you guys will improve or not but definitely service providers like you will make me a genuine story writer.

                Hi Team,

                I had requested to cancel my account back in November as Airtel cannot improve signals in my area, but Airtel got back to me in Jan asking to pay RS 4500, because this was never cancelled. Now after the arguments, they agreed to give a waiver of 2300 and I paid the rest on Jan 20 and asked to cancel the connection. I continued receiving updates about payment not paid and when I called the customer care, they said no waiver was given! When I forwarded the email which was sent to me, they agreed to cancel my account. But till today, I continue to receive threatening emails asking to pay of they will raise a case against me. When again I called customer service, rep said they are still waiting for backend team to get back with the status.

                I paid the bill on Jan 20 and today is Feb 16, yet the records are not updated and I continue to receive phone calls asking to pay the remaining bill.

                  I raised an broadband connection request in airtel website on 1/2/2016. On 2 one of their employee by name sharan came and collected all the requiring documents and collected 1000rs in cash as security deposit and informed that by that evening or by end of 3rd I will get connection so waited till time but they didn't respond. After calling also there is no proper responses from them. So I want to raise an complaint about delay on service, no proper customer care and I want my 1000rs back.

                    I have a regular user Airtel 4G. I was a user of [protected] and [protected] post- paid numbers and [protected] router number. Despite my many complaints, the company gave me 3G Service, and I was supposed to get 4G service. The company has charged me for 4G usages. I didn't get 4G service in my area. This was the practice of deception. When the company charged me a lump some amount which is not according to my use. The company started sending some guns(anti-social elements) to mentally harass me. On the phone, some lady from the company hurled abusive remarks upon me. I am an Assistant professor at a college.
                    I want to pay the reasonable amount. If I fail to pay the amount the company may go to the court of the law against me, but the company sends some anti-social elements to threaten and mentally harass my family member's.

                      The installation was INITIATED at night on 27th, but not completed,

                      The installation was completed by providing instrument and splitter and testing connection on 28th Jan at 11:30 am by Ajab singh.

                      i am wrong billed from 27th as my installation was completed on 28th January 2016.

                        Dear Sir
                        We have Corporate (CUG) plan and having around 200 mobile number of airtel post paid connection. My is concern is for mobile no.[protected]. We have free 512 mb internet monthly usage in our plan.

                        That, we are using this number since last 7 years.

                        We received our Bill dated 03/12/2015 ([protected]) attached annexure-A and its consolidate Bill attached as annexure-B in which airtel have charged
                        internet usage excess by Rs.929/- plus taxes thereon. They shows Free charges Rs.4, 194.32 less in Rs.5, 123.60 resulted bill increased by Rs.929/-

                        We are attaching our another CUG numbers ([protected]) Bill as annexure-C & D vide its Bill No.[protected] dated 21/06/2015, relationship no.[protected] in which you have discounted internet usage of Rs.5, 037/- and in our this number i.e. [protected] they have discounted only of Rs.4, 194.32 into amount of Rs.5, 123.60 resulted increased Bill by Rs.929/-.

                        I have requested them so many times to see the matter and send us corrected bill so i could pay and use its interrupted services.

                          Its starts from here: We have to travel abroad from India to UK for 6 months.

                          I was not aware for the tarrif and charges and was using the Airtel number from last 10 years.
                          I called the 121 line for Airtel Customer care and we discussed the same for an hour and finally he asked for how much time is your visit, I said 6 months.
                          The Analyst asked me to go for 999 package where the charges as per him is 30 mnts incoming free and SMS free per month.
                          No one informed this to us that we need to enable the package again after 25 days.

                          They said "OK we are activating this as per your request and every month you will get charged with rupees 999 on your Airtel Postpaid bill for +91-[protected]"
                          "Please call 121 to deactivate
                          Then we got bills for worth rs 11000 and 8000 rs INR.

                          I called the 121 line and it was informed that we are not in this package and that is why we are charged with this much of amount, and from that time we are in calls with them and lots of communication has been placed for the same and finally i asked the team to go ahead listen to that call and see if that Analyst provided us this info.
                          There was no response in this but they are simply ignoring this conversation.

                          The team Airtel called me that they are ready for waiver for rs 2950 and then they changed that today 1300. INR
                          All i want this to be corrected and charge me what was communicated.
                          Also they send me lots of inorrect stats for bill as well.
                          We are completely mis-communicated for the same and i am not ready to pay such bills as this is something needs to be corrected.

                          Just for an update again i m using this from last 10 years and also most of my connections whether its DTH or Internet or Broadband I always prefer to use Airtel.
                          Looking foward from help with you in this.

                            The sales manager (Mr. Ajit and team-[protected]) at Airtel Malad (East), Mumbai gallery gave a fake plan and influenced me to apply for portability to join Airtel. He gave a lucrative family plan for 3 of my members altogether and once the portability is done I found that the plan that was offered to me is fake. In spite of regular follow-up with Airtel through emails, phone calls and personal visit to thier office at Interface-7 Malad (W), Mumbai, Airtel csutomer care has no answer for my compalint. The call centre staff, the helpline at number 121 and any other customer care executives response is so pathetic that I am now compelled to believe that it was a complete error of judgement on my part when I agreed to go for portability and take up that fake plan. I am not sure whether placing my complaint on this platform will resolve issue. However, I would strongly recommend to reader of this complaint to not to choose Airtel as their service provider, remain away from any lucrative offers / fake plans and sales staffs who have intentions to cheat people. Airtel - please wake up before the upcoming competitor sweep away your feet from ground.

                                I got a missed call from [protected] at 11:04am on 05.02.2016. Assuming the importance of call I immediately called back and from other end I heard a male voice saying about Insurance marketing...I immediately cut the call and found that I lost Rs.14/- at once.

                                I googled and found that +92 code is related to Pakistan. Yu are requested to stop this type of calls. Please take this matter very seriously.

                                  This is regarding refund of Rs.3800.71 from Airtel which i made excess payment by mistake on 28th Dec'15.

                                  I have requested refund of Rs.3800.71 on 28th Dec'15 against the complaint no.66964516 which was not resolved and closed.
                                  Later I registered one more complaint for the same issue against the complaint no.67031513 on 2nd Jan'16 and still I have not received the amount.
                                  I have contacted the 121 and appellate team lot of times but nothing happened and every time they are asking 48 hrs time to resolve the issue.

                                  Finally when i requested for the status yesterday 04/02/2016, they simply created one more complaint on the same mentioning like, it will be resolved in next 48 hrs

                                  Please help me to resolve the issue and do me the needful
