Updated by RahulRDC Airtel is dilly-dallying on resolving my complaints since more than 1.10 years now . They are flouting the TRAI guidelines with gay abandon and whatsoever without any compunctions . They are tight lipped, despite many written and verbal reminders till date to answer the following core issue :
Why should I still be diligently lodging the DND violation complaints, follow ups on the same or even the PG portal complaints for resolution on the same when in the first place as per the fully blocked status of my mobile number [protected] since Feb. '2014 ( vide registration reference no. provided by Airtel as : W[protected] dated[protected] sms to this effect received from Airtel on[protected] at 16:08: 37 hours ), I, should not be getting any promotional calls or smses for that matter from the respective errant telemarketers . I am still getting the promotional calls and smses unabated till date ( rather I am deluged more than ever with the same ) on my mobile [protected], not only from the errant telemarketers subscribed to the respective service providers, but also even from the errant telemarketers subscribed to my own service provider Airtel.
Not only the above, but Airtel has resorted rather to bluff by giving mis-information on even the DND violation complaints lodged with it . E.G. the recent DND violation complaint lodged ref.CDRGP[protected]
CDRGP[protected] : feedback on the action taken was not provided by Airtel till even[protected] date which is even stipulated by Airtel itself while registering the the DND Violation dated[protected] .TRAI guidelines however say that the feedback on the action taken should be given by the service provider within 7 days of registration of the
DND violation ; So the feedback on CDRGP[protected] dated[protected] ought to have been given latest by[protected] which Airtel did not do .
[protected], however a sms was recd. by me on my mobile as follows :
AD-ARWSVC ( 16.42 hours ;[protected] :
Update Reference no. CDRGP[protected] : The defaulting unregistered telemarketer number has been disconnected by Reliance basis the reported violation.
The mobile number of the errant telemarketer registered for the DND Violation vide compl. Ref. CDRGP[protected] ; i.e. [protected] was however found to be still ringing and active ( call made at this no. at 18.15 hours from another mobile ; when a cal was made from my own mobile - [protected] to check on the disconnection at 16.42 / 16.46 hours - the call got answered ).
Today[protected] the above mobile n o. of the errant telemarketer, i.e. [protected], is still active and ringing, despite the fact that the UCC head of Airtel, nodal officer of Airtel were each informed on the above on their mobile numbers ( call made to nodal officer dated[protected] ; sms sent to UCC head of Airtel dated[protected] followed by a e-mail addressed to appellate and all the relevant dept. of airtel dated[protected] itself.
Why this mis-information ???????
N.B. :
AirtelNodal officer updated also at : [protected] - call made at this no. today at 17.15 hours . Sms also sent at 17.13 hours to the Airtel's UCC head Anurag Jain on his mobile ( [protected] ) - ALL DATED[protected]
