On 1st August, 2015 i took 3G airtel sim as i relocated to Bhopal. the vendor sold to me a 3G sim but since activation of the number i haven't recieved 3G service. When preferred network for sim is selected as "Prefer 3G" or "3G only" i get a comment on my mobile as " the sim should support 3G to connect to the network" and by default "2G only" is selected. i have been continuously complaining to airtel customer care, they are continuously asking me to keep airtel selected in WCDMA settings and data roaming on. continuously i have been telling them that these settings are already there, still the issue is sim doesn't support 3G. now they have started keeping me on hold or saying" from our side there is no issue". So, should i take it as it is my problem that i foolishly bought an Airtel Sim.

    Hello Sir / Madam, I have a 3G airtel connection. In this month's bill, Rs. 70 extra has been added towards LAILA SERVICE. I never activated the service. The 3G connection is used through a data card and there is no way for anyone to activate any value added service. When I asked the customer care about this, the representative told that i requested for service activation through a click of an ad in a web site. She said that she can deactivate the service. My question is how come Airtel has the control to deactivate a service which can not be activated by calling the customer care? This is a day light robbery. A "smart network" that makes its subscribers "fools".

      This is with regard to my broad band connection account no: [protected] and phone number [protected]. I had raised a request in april 2015 to cancel the connection since i was leaving the country. However the cancellation didn't happen and the following month bill was added since i didn't pay it the connection eventually got cancelled. I returned back after 3 months, 2 weeks ago to create a new connection when they said my line has been put in safe custody. They mentioned i could get reconnected immediately and so i did. However within 2 days it got disconnected saying i owed rent for the month of may and there was an addition 600 rs fees for safe custody which i never requested in the first place. When i raised it as an issue i was promised there is some miscommunication and the sum will be reverted ( find below the mail) my connection was back on for 1 day after which it again got cancelled. Now i got a bill of an additional 800 Rs for the 3 days of internet connection i had. I had tried reaching out on multiple occasion but to no avail.

          Hi my name is puneet. I purchased one post paid sim and one wifi advance rental dongle . i have paid 3300 rs for dongle and 350 rs for airtel postpaid sim on 10th august 2015 from Balaji Traders plot no. 57A, Neelam Bata road, N.I.T. Faridabad. my residential verification has already been done . but still both my numbers have not been activated till now. after making several complaints the DSA is not resolving the matter. The mobile no for the DSA Is [protected] and landline is[protected]. the nos issued to me for postpaid sim was [protected] and wifi was [protected]. such bad service from airtel.

            I am using Airtel Broadband since quite sometime and off late there have been a lot of advertisements popping on my laptop, ipad and cell phones because of airtel network. The same is happening in my office. I am really not happy with the same and it is really frustrating to again and again shut the ad which are of no use to me. This is really causing a lot of trouble as a lot of spams are happening. I hope my privacy is well protected. If this does not stop, I will very well change my network. I cant stand it anymore.

              Hello, i have a life time valid airtel connection and i am out of country currently, i noticed a temporary notice date is set when i logged into my airtel account to check my balance it is set as 26Aug2015, i havent received any communication from airtel inspite of being an account holder. any how, i would like to understand how can i get rid of that date ? as the date is still post dated i am expecting airtel will provide me details to ensure that date is no longer active . my phone number is [protected].

                My mobile number is [protected]. It was a prepaid mobile number. Airtel customer care peoples has called many times and asked to change prepaid mobile number to postpaid and they told it will be beneficiary.So, we agreed for that. Airtel peoples come to our place and changed the prepaid mobile number to post paid. For this they took 550 rs. Customer relationship form serial no. is KKPB975388. Now we don't want postpaid plan because its charges are more.We asked airtel customer care to change the postpaid plan to prepaid plan however they asked to come to aitel office to change the plan. They miss leaded us. now we come to know that we can change the plan without going to aitel office. They have blocked the number without informing. Please unblock the number and take action against the one who miss lead to take the different plans when there is no benefits and ask to come to airtel office without reason and collects money.

                  I am abroad and I need my India number to reciecve lot of OTP. They deducted rs.100 with a promise to activate international roaming but its not active. Whenever I raise complaint to [protected]@in.airtel.com they keep pushing the resolution date which is kind of auto reply but by a representative.                   I received a call from a representative and he had reset the sim. After that as per his suggestion I tried it on a diff handset (it did not work on the Nokia basic model for some reason) and now its working fine.

                    At last I am dropping this mail after my lot of discussions on airtel customer care number. I am struggling to solve an issue with Service Req number 51208630. I reported a complaint on 3rd Aug that my internet is frequency got disconnected. A Airtel Technician (Mr. Ram) came to my place on 6th Aug and found an issue in Wifi-Router. As per record Wifi-router was in warranty period. So he has taken my Wifi-router and promised me that within 1-2 day he will be back with new Wifi-Router. After that day, he did not come back. From 8th Aug, I am regularly calling this guy on +91 [protected]. For first few days he was just mentioning that he will come tomorrow. Last few days, he stopped picking my phone. Last few days, I am daily calling airtel customer care number and everyone says same line "Your problem will be solve soon. We will be sending our representative on your address". However nothing is moving. Nobody came to my place to give my Wifi router back. I am completely disappointed with this service of airtel. Today I called customer care to cancel my connection and give my money back. However as per airtel rules, I cannot cancel my connection of 6-month plan. Early I had good relationship with airtel. I never see service issue with airtel. Just because of good services of airtel I was preferring airtel broadband. Otherwise it is quite expensive with respect to other competitor. But after this bad experience I lost my trust from airtel.

                      I have recharged my phone with rs38 whatsapp data pack and turned off cellular data for all other apps on my phone. Every single one!. My balance will nill for a few days and i could use whatsapp continuously. I recharged last sunday with 150rs and all of it is drained now due to data cocumption. So if these 'telecom giant' can understand when to deduct my whatsapp data doesnt understand when to cut off data when the balance is being drained. How dumb/cunning is airtel?

                          I recharged my wife's airtel mobile number with 45 rupees for 180 MB 2g data with validity 28 days but the 2g and 3g balance shows no data. Also, when the recharge was done, she received a message saying 200 MB whatsapp data recharge done. This is clearly misleading users to wrong recharge. One can't enable internet on a smartphone with this recharge as all the talktime balance is depleted in minutes so one will have to shed more rupees on internet recharge. Please check into the matter. I have attached a screenshot of airtel website page where it is clearly mentioned 180 MB 2g data, 28 days and not 200 MB WhatsApp for 45 rupees. They are making fool of normal people

                            I requested for a new airtel broadband connection. The sales dealer ([protected]) called me and verified my detail and asked me to pay online. I gave the documents to another guy who came to house ([protected]). After I payed online I didnot get any confirmation or anything. I tried reaching the sales dealer 1000 times and once she picked and said she will do the needful immediately.

                            The next week, I tried reaching the guy who came to my home. This guy never attended my 1000 calls. I was unable to raise a complaint since i dont have an airtel number.

                            My name is Sheik Mohamed and I called Airtel broadband customer care ( the number I noticed in a adv board placed in all house gates) for new connection. The call wasn't answered but I got a call in few mins from [protected] claiming that she is calling from Airtel with regards to my call to Airtel BB number.

                            She checked the feasibility at my location and informed me provide documents and 550rs money to her representative who came to my office on Friday 9th Oct'15. I gave him ([protected])the money and send an email to [protected]@gmail.com confirming that. No receipt via email or from the collection agent.
                            Now both numbers are switched off and I think I got cheated.

                            Pls help..
                            This is absolutely atrocious. I have requested for an AIRTEL Broadband and landline connection through the AIRTEL WEBSITE, a lady calls from the number [protected] and sends someone to collect the cash and documents. I had paid the amount of Rs 1000 and when I later call the number it is on call waiting and then rings unending and no response no matter how long I try. I also do see the above number and person has cheated a lot of people. Kindly do the needful or I will have to take legal action as I had requested for the connection only online and not to any person manually. Please email to cardin.[protected]@gmail.com

                              We had 2 connections in same home.My internet connection went down on august 3rd, when we tried to complain your call operator told us that we can lodge a complaint for 2 n.os with only 1 complaint number, when airtel guy came, he told no complaint for my n.o, next is when i gave complaint on august 7th, they have resheduled my request 5 times and my internet has not yet been correct.Why are you guys so careless about the customers, if you cant provide the service, please dont provide.Very dissapointed by such an attitude from an MNC like airtel Next is today morning when i tried to disconnect my connection by calling to your customer care, your executive didnt took my request to disconnect telling that unable to transfer the call to the concerned department

                                I am Jyoti Patil. Last week I have purchased 4G Dongle from Airtell as it has been told to me that in my area 4G connectivity is available. The marketing perosn Mr.Vijay has come to my place and shows me the demo of 4G speed with his dongle. And so I have purchased the dongle. But now I am getting 3G connectivity. So I have given complaint to Airtell Customer Care, so they informed me that in my area Airetll is not having 4G connectivity. So its been cheating on selling 4G dongle and then telling that they can't provide 4G in my area. I fact I was fully satisfied with my Tata Photon with 3G speed, but for 4G I have replaced my TataPhoton dongle with Airetll. So its been disgusting and cheating to a customer. And now for this complaint I am fighting daily with Airtell Customer Care. I spoken with Mr.Maoulik, the manager of Airtell Customer Care. He promised me that he will personally look in this matter and will give me a call back. But I have not received a single call back from Airtell Customer Care. How irresponsible the Airtell Company is? They are not concern at all with Customer once they sold a product. Daily I am calling them and asking about the solution. I have taken the 4G Plan of 8GB for 1500/- and at the cost of 4G they are giving me 3G. While my Tata Photon plan was 15GB for 1124/-. So I have been a total loss on dogle and plan also. Please I recomend not to beleive on the Airtell marketing person for 4G connection. They are cheating to the customers.

                                      I want to port my VODAFONE to AIRTEL for that I have submit all the require documents to their executive with payments of Rs.100/- for new SIM on 30th Aug2015 and after that they said it will take 1 week for activation but not yet active. I spoke one of tele marketing executive She is committing me that sir it will activated by tomorrow but its not doing anything. Everyday I am making calls to their customer care executive but they are not giving me any proper answer. They only saying that all the procedure are in process and they are procrastination my request. I spoke to their executive regularly her name & number is Shweta ([protected]), Sangam, Rahul.
