Hi, I am using airtel services from past 10 years. Today my Post paid no [protected] deactivated so for activating it i called from my alternate no [protected]. After wasting 30 minutes m writing this complaint to airtel. When i called airtel complaint no 198 my call has been transferred to junior to senior executive then prepaid to postpaid migration desk then after 10 mins hold time it cut automatically. The above incidents happened twice today.. I am very disappointed from the airtel responce today and i would surely switch my services to another service provider.     Hi, i have used airtel postpaid for more then one year, so the issue was they keep on increasing my bill amount by each months, around 1000 every months, but i never ever use for that much, so i keep on raise the issue with them but not resolved, so i was plan to change the network but they disconnect my portable facility from that number, so agian i had fight with them and changed the network, but now they simply ask me to pay 600 rs for 10 days of connection, so i have asked clear bill details from them, but they not ready to send the bill and they raised the issue with my new network, so the new network calling me and ask me to pay the bill or the connection gonna to be disconnect, , , Airtel pospadi network had cheated me, i never ever use that in future and i wont suggest also..

      The worst experience anyone can ever imagine. The airtel outlet near ayyappa temple is the best example how worst can a service be to the core. I had filled the for a postpaid connection number [protected], on the 21st of Mar’2015. The lady by name Kavitha [protected] to the details and after checking all the documents she said that the number will be activated by Tuesday 24th Mar’2015. On Tuesday the number was not activated, Wednesday it wasn’t activated, Thursday I called her and she said it will be activated by the evening but it didn’t. On Friday I went to the showroom and I noticed that she was just working on the file when I asked her about the activation she said it will be activated today evening but again it didn’t. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF SHE WAS WORKING ON MY FILE ON THE 28TH MAR 2015, IT WAS EVIDENT THAT SHE HASN’T TOUCHED MY DOCUMENT AT ALL. WHY DID SHE KEPT SAYING THAT THE NUMBER WILL BE ACTIVATED IN THE EVENING EVERYTIME I GOT IN TOUCH WITH HER. This went on and on where they kept saying it will be done by evening. The address verification of both home and office was done but no sign of number getting activated. On the 30th Mar’2015 I received an activation update and it said for status send SMS. I THOUGHT FINALLY I WILL GET THE NUMBER ACTIVATED SMS AIRTEL BUT YOU WONT BELIVE WHAT HAPPENED. AFTER ABOUT TWO WEEKS ON THE 31ST MAR’2015 KAVITHA CALLS ME AND SAYS THAT THE NUMBER CANNOT BE ACTIVATED AS THAT NUMBER IS GIVEN TO A PREPAID SOME STUFF. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE FACT THAT WE ARE LIVING IN A ADVANCED WORLD AND IT TAKES 2 WEEKS FOR A COMPLANY LIKE AIRTEL TAKES TWO WEEKS FOR THE PROCESS THAT TOO AFTER ALL THE ADDRESS VERIFICATION. THIS IS TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE. Anyways after this episode she said that I will have to take another number, I ignored the mistake as it tends to happen by everyone. I ASKED HER TO SHARE THE NUMBERS AND WILL SELECT THE DETAILS BUT TO MY SURPRISE SHE SAID THAT I WILL HAVE TO COME TO OUTLET AND GO THROUGH THE WHO PROCESS. I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHEN THERE WAS A MISTAKE FROM YOUR AND WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THE MISTAKE. WHEN I ASKED HER WHY SHE SAID THAT I WILL HAVE TO DO IT AS IT’S A REGULAR PROCESS HOWEVER SHE WILL GET THE NUMBER ACTIVATED IN A DAYS TIME THAT TO BY THE EVENING (AGAIN THE SAME OLD EVENING STUFF). AS WE ALL HAVE TO WORK AND GO TO OFFICE I SENT OUT THE DOCMENT THROUGH MY WIFE ON THE 1ST APR’2015. WHEN SHE WENT TO THE OUTLET SHE COULDN’T SELECT THE NUMBER BECAUSE THEY CLAIMED THAT THE SERVER WAS DOWN. ON THE 2ND April’ 2015 I SELECTED THE NUMBER [protected]. DURING THE PROCESS OF TAKING THE NUMBER AT THE OUTLET I HAD SPOKEN TO ANOTHER LADY ANOTHER EXAMPLE HOW A STAFF SHOULD NEVER TALK TO A CUSTOMER. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE FACT WHY DOES AIRTEL HAVE SUCH STUPID STAFFS WHO TALKS AS IF THEY ARE DOING A FAVOR TALKING TO US, RUDE AND SARCASTIC. I CALLED KAVITHA THE SAME EVENING AS SHE WASN’T THERE IN THE OUTLET BUT SHE DIDN’T RESPOND TO MY CALL HOWEVER SHE RESPONDED TO HER COLLEGAUS CALL, I DON’T KNOW WHY. Coming back I CALLED KAVITHA ON THE 3RD APR’2015 AND SHE REPLIED THAT SHE IS IN CHURCH. I ASKED HER ABOUT THE ACTIVATION AND SHE SAID THAT SHE IS NOT IN OFFICE TODAY AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING. I WOULD LIKE TO UNDERSTAND IT AIRTEL DEPENDENT ON INDIIVIDUALS? IF THAT PERSON DOESN’T COME TO OFFICE EVERYTHING GOES COMES TO A STAND STILL. Today I was expecting a call from Kavitha [protected] but since there was no response from her I called her, she didn’t answer the phone first time and on the second call someone by name Harish ANOTHER EXAMPLE HOW A STAFF SHOULD NEVER TALK TO A CUSTOMER WHO TALKS AS IF THEY ARE DOING A FAVOR TALKING TO US, RUDE AND SARCASTIC. I SAID I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO KAVITHA AS SHE KNOWS THE WHOLD INCIDENT AND I DON’T HAVE TO REPEAT THE STORY BUT HE REFUSED TO GIVE THE PHONE TO HER AS HE IS HANDLING POSTPAID CONNECTION SOMETHING. IT WAS OBVIOUS SHE SAW MY NUMBER AND PASSED THE PHONE TO HIM. I WAS ADAMENT TALKING TO HER AS I WAS LOOSING MY PAITENCE THIS TIME. I EVEN THREATENED HIM THAT HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT IAM CAPABLE AND WILL LOG COMPLAINTS AND STUFFS LIKE THAT (share my experience on the social site) BUT THAT DIDN’T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE ON HIM. LOOKS LIKE THIS IS SOMETHING THEY USE TO. HOWEVER HE SAID SHE WILL CALL ME BACK IN 5 MINUTES BUT SHE DIDN’T. I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN I CALLED FROM THE OTHER NUMBER AND AS I IMAGINED SHE PICKED UP THE CALL AND SHE HEARD MY VOICE HER TONE COMPELTLY CHANGED. STILL I ASKED HER KAVITHA WHATS HAPPENING ITS BEEN MORE THAN 2 WEEKS WHATS HAPPENING. SHE SAID DON’T TALK ABOUT THE OLD NUMBER, I ASKED HER WHAT DOES SHE MEAN. I TOLD HER IT WAS NOT MY MISTAKE, TO THIS SHE SAID SHE IS WORKING ON MY NUMBER AND DISCONNECTED THE CALL. · WHY ARE PEOPLE WORKING AT THE AIRTEL OUTLET NEAR AYYAPPA TEMPLE NOT TOUGHT HOW SHOULD THEY HANDLE CUSTOMER OR SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER? · WHY IT TOOK 2 WEEKS TO IDENTIFY AND INFORM ME THAT THE NUMBER [protected] CANNOT BE GIVEN AFTER ALL THE VERIFICATION PROCESS AND ACTIVATION MSG FROM AIRTEL · WHY DID KAVITHA REPEATEDLY MAKE FALSE PROMISES? IS THIS HER ATITUDE OR AIRTEL THE POINT OF CONCERN. I BELIVE THIS PARTICULAR OUTLET IS A VERY BAD EXAMPLE OF AIRTEL AND MAY TO SAVE AIRTELS REPUTATION THEY MUST TAKE A VERY STRICT ACTION SO THAT NO ONE ELSE WHO KNOCKS THE DOOR OF AIRTEL SHOULD GO THROUGH WHAT I WENT THROUGH. I AM STILL KEENLY WAITING FOR MORE THAN 2 WEEKS FOR A NUMBER [protected] TO ACTIVATE. I BELIVE AIRTEL HAS SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING TOWARDS THE GROWTH OF COMPANY AND VALUE THEIR CUSTOMER.         I phone to my friend on 27th March and i check the balance amount they sent message *197 rupees 2GB 3G data. On that time 6.19 pm only 1 GB 3 G data only comes but balance not yet received. I had complaint 198 toll free number 27th March reference No.CBNRD [protected]. 28th March reference No.CBNRD [protected]. Next day 30th March they give me reference No.ROVDE [protected]. 31st March reference No.CBNRD [protected] and 1st April reference No.CBNRD [protected]. In customer care they are given reference and they are not solved the problem. one people saying technical problem and solved by 4th april and another person told on 7th april.             I have taken new connection of Airtel on 26th march and got special offer on *121*1# to get 2gb 3g data on recharge of rs197/- But I got 1gb data only . When I called on 198 on 26 march to complaint then they just again n again written complaint and told that the data will be given to yyou in 24 hrs. Then taken 48 hrs then 72 hrhrs. But they didn't given. And after so many calls when I called today they just refused to give data and said they have send that offer msg by mistake. And I am not eligible for that and talking to me very rudely and mannerlessly. Plz do the needful. [protected]

Customer care is not giving satisfactory reply for the same & your nodal officer Mr. Sandeep Jain not attanding our phone. We are sending the screen shot for our data balance & validity after that how company can deduct our balance while our phone was on silent mode from 9.02 PM to 11.00 PM.                 sir i know airtel is a big and best company but today airtel gives a porr service that i subscribed for pack of rs 49 in which i get 1024 mb 3g internet which means 1 gb 3g intenet for 12am to 6am i only consumed 996mb only in which i only do downloading with browsing any site at all please airtel its a request to you to refund my money please my mobile number is [protected] please airtel gives your best to me and all and help me and refund my money . thanx in advance

                  Sir i called care no. on 29 feb . I asked them to give me information about data plan . Then they told me if i recharged my no . [protected] RS73 i will get 1 gb 2g data for 28 days . On 30 feb i went to shop for recharge my phone .After that i got only 100 mb for 7 days . Immedately i called 121 for complaint . From that day everday i called to 121 to get a solution of this problem every time they asked they will help me

                    With great disappointment I want to raise this matter in this forum. I have been an Airtel customer all these 10 years since I started to use cell phone and to never did Airtel give me a chance to complain about its services. However, this time I am forced to choose this page to get my request heard.My number is [protected] (Pune). I am a postpaid customer since 2013 and have been using Blackberry services all the while. Never have I been in the defaulters list for late payment or no payment of any services I opted for. Blackberry BIS advance rental plan for 6 months in 1999/- INR has been my choice ever since I moved from prepaid to postpaid connection. And as a usual renewal activity, I called Blackberry customer care on March 6th, 2015 to renew my Blackberry BIS advance rental plan for next 6 months. The services got reactivated within few minutes and it was business as usual until March 10th, 2015, when I faced some problem in my Blackberry handset and was on my way to the Blackberry service centre. My Blackberry 9360 curve handset was stolen from my pocket on March 10th 2015 at Bareilly district (U.P.) when I was in my hometown for Holi festival. As the phone was without a sim card, there was no way I could track it instantly. I registered a complaint in the nearest Police Station and as a responsible customer, called the Airtel customer care and asked them to stop my Blackberry services from immediate effect. I was told that in my monthly bill, dated March 12th, 2015, I will be charged the amount Rs. 1999/-, however it can re-adjusted later on calling the customer care.As I was travelling, my contact with customer care was delayed and I contacted the customer care on 28th March, 2015. A complaint (Ref no. –[protected] was registered and without any phone call from the customer care, it was closed on 30th March, 2015.When I called the customer care and inquired about the arbitrary closure of my complaint, I was explained that the charges couldn’t be adjusted as it was an “Advance Rental Plan” and therefore once you confirm that the plan should be activated, you have to pay no matter if you use it or stop it in next 3 days.On my insistence I was transferred to the supervisor, Ms. Rekha Khandilkar, and even she reiterated what the customer support agent has stated. I told her, that I am not complaining, but I am requesting that these charges be rolled back/adjusted as I haven’t used the services and have been responsible to intimate the customer care on the same day and get the services Stopped. However, to my disappointment she said, “The charges could have been adjusted only in the case when we had levied them without your confirmation, but as the plan was activated by your consent and confirmation, we can’t adjust these charges.” I requested, that had my request not been genuine, your hardcoded response would have been acceptable but I was even ready to share the copy of the FIR registered in the nearest Police Station on March 10th, 2015.The call ended on a disappointing note and the conclusion was – that Airtel Customer care cannot listen to the “GENUINE” requests of their customers and even without using the services and being responsible enough to inform Airtel and get the Blackberry BIS Advance Rental Plan service stopped with immediate effect, as the loss of Blackberry device, I will have to bear the charges and nothing can be done. The “charges could have been adjusted – only in the case when the services would have been renewed without my consent / confirmation”. In sum total, Airtel would be ready to correct it’s mistakes but in no case would listen and work upon it’s LOYAL CUSTOMER’S request.I urge this forum to listen to my request and please help me in getting the charges adjusted. I have stayed with Airtel all these years and leaving Airtel on such a note would be a disappointment. I am attaching along with, the Police complaint for the loss of Blackberry device.

                      Dear sir I am shailesh singh sengar. I have Airtel no. [protected] which was ported from idea on date 30/03/2015.Before porting I was ensured by Airtel for plan of V &D 3G Combo special value 399 DL. for corporate connection. But another plan of Alive Net CUG 499 3G Combo Plan was activated without my consent. Many of my colleagues who had taken this plan along with me using the plan of 399 without any problem. I called customer care several time but response was negative and now I am not able to contact customer care from 2PM on 02/04/2015 and all incoming calls are shown unknown even which are saved in my phone. Due to this huge inconvenience I am feeling very bad about my decision to change to airtel.Kindly look into the matter and try to solve it at earliest. Yours Sincerely Shailesh Singh Sengar

                          Hi, I m really fed up with the service provided by Airtel for my mobile number : [protected]. I did an online recharge from your website for Rs.200 Full talk time however the credited amount was only Rs.175. I spoke to one of your agent and found that if recharge is done as Circle recharge then there is no full talk time available. I don’t know then for what reason this is not updated in Online. Also I Got a call from one of your Manager [protected] stating that he need 24hours to check this status however I advised I need a status by today and he said this is not possible. Also When I advised that I m going to file a case he coolly asked to file a case against airtel and he knows how to progress it. Is this is the way you provide better service to the customers??????????????????????? I m really disappointed with this. I don’t know how long you take this issue to resolve. This takes me 10minutes to check in your website. I dont know wh you need 24hours of time to check this and credit my account. Is this is the way customer agent speaks to a customer??                             Yesterday I have migrated my airtel number to post paid from prepaid. After the number activated Whether the contact details available or not it show as Unknown for all the incoming calls and the call log also show as Unknown with out any details.
                            Complaint marked as Resolved 
                            I called customer care and they resolved it immediately. They said root cause of it is new SIM card, the new SIM cards by default will have this issue.

                            Hi Airtel Customer Care
                            I am having this problem (incoming calls appearing as UNKNOWN) for many days, on my iphone. The problem is not with my phone as tested by apple workshop and also, the problem did not appear when I switched the Airtel sim to other telecom service provider.
                            I have sent you an email in this regard and attached the screenshot. Please resolve urgently, else I will have to switch to the other TSP.

                            hi this is kalyan, i am using airtel postpain and i am gettings calls as unknown number on my display. i have been facing this issue from 2 months and no one is conderned about it.
                            I have ported my sim from Vodafone to Airtel and have been facing the issue ever since (past 3 days). Despite getting multiple calls from airtel customer service after raising the request seems like they are only giving excuses and not working on the resolution. The root cause they give is that the number is pending activation, but I am not sure how long is that activation going to take for a verified customer. The service center people have become good in buying time and doing nothing. Extremely unhappy !! started feeling why did I chose Airtel !?!

                                I leave in Bavdhan Pune. I complained many times to customer care for 3G service. I always recharged for 3G net pack but I never got this service. It always shows in my phone display 2g service. I already complained to the customer care. But the assist person always disconnect my calls. They are told me that we will send some technical department person. But no person visited on my place.

                                  My No - [protected] gave for PrePaid to PostPaid conversion in Airtel through airtel representative. He came to my house on Saturday[protected] and gave me a new SIM card. I have submit my documents through airtelpostpaid.[protected]@gmail.com. One agent was also came for office address verification as I have applied for corp-sim. Its almost 5 days passed and no progress. Till now I have received SMS and Call in my contact number stating that PostPaid conversion is in progress. But nothing happened. Visited the showroom many times and always got the same reply "Wait for 48hrs and it will happen". I am long time Customer of Airtel owning multiple products- TV, PostPaid connections and Broadband. Till now I have never faced such a bad service. Airtel was once famous for its Customer service, But is fading down to be worse compared to other vendors.

                                    Hallo, I was using Airtel Post Paid connection. I moved to Germany and Hence I don't want any connection anymore. I asked them in Email and I gave all my details regarding the SIM. But still I did not get a good reply. They are making life difficult for us. They say to come to Airtel nearest office and pay the amount by yourself and then it will get deactivated. The Airtel account was already linked to my bank account. They are deducting the monthly bill from my account. Why can't they just deduct the last outstanding amount by themselves and just cancel the connection. It's been a while I have been in Germany and I lost my SIM too. I don't know where to find. The mobile companies are making life miserable to cancel the connection.

                                      Network is really very poor in a metropolitan city like Bangalore. I stay at Bannerghatta Road and Work at MG Road. I travel all the way everyday and find no where good signal. If I ask for customer care, they say that your area is far from the city. If MG Road is far away from Bangalore City, then what is called Bangalore City. Is there some one who takes care of network stability or the again some one comes and tell that we look after this and leave this a post?
