I, Rajesh Hira, shifted to Airtel from MTS 2 - 3 weeks back. While purchasing the 3G Net connection - dongle, the DSA representatives gave me lucrative offer and good service due to which I assumed that Customer Service provided by Airtel must be one of the best. The connection was working absolutely fine till a 8 - 10 days after purchasing the connection, I received an SMS alert which asked me to pay Rs. 1500 to enjoy continuous services. According to the SMS, I had exceeded my credit limit. This was highly impossible because my usage is not more than 2 GB and therefore, I had opted for 2 GB in Rs. 450 plan. Therefore, I called the Customer Service. The CSR told me that I should ignore these SMSes and should make the payment once the bill is generated. He also told me that I should pay whatever amount is mentioned in the 'to-be-generated' bill. The matter ended there.

After a few days, I got another call from Airtel asking where I would like to receive my 3G internet bills. I made it very clear to them that alongwith a hard copy of the bill (to be sent to my residential address - which was verified by the CSR), I need an e-bill (soft copy) to be sent to my Gmail ID. The CSR verified my Gmail ID as well and assured me that I would receive a hard copy as well as soft copy of the bill.

Now, again, after a week or so, I received an SMS at around 11.30 PM on Tues, Apr 23 saying that I should deposit Rs. 1500 within 24 hours. Otherwise, Airtel will discontinue my services. I called up Customer Service for clarification and the CSR told me that I have to pay Rs. 555 only within 24 hours and that my net connection WILL NOT BE deactivated within this timeframe.

This was a bit strange for me because I neither received a hard copy nor a soft copy of the bill and just received this SMS out of nowhere.

On Wed, Apr 24, my net was disconnected at around 8.455 AM (Airtel didnt even wait for 24 hours as they mentioned in their SMS). I went to the gallery at around 1 PM and paid Rs. 555 (as told by the Customer Service rep the previous day). I have the receipt of this payment made at the gallery. The girl at the help desk asked me to call 888 to reactivate my internet service. I contacted 888 from the gallery itself and the female who answered my call, gave me a confirmation of the payment made by me and assured me that the connection will be reactivated in the next 4 hours.

I waited till 6 PM but no progress. Therefore, I contacted Customer Service again. From here on, Airtel guys started throwing me like a soccer ball from one department to other department just like government offices do. But, not one person from any of these departments showed that they have been trained to provide the best Customer Service and to resolve customer's issues ASAP. From their conversations and attitudes, it seemed that they just care about their salaries and they are not even bothered to retain a new customer. After several attempts (bouncing from one dept to another), I spoke with Deepak and again, he confirmed the payment credited and assured me that the connection will be reactivated in the next 30 minutes. No progress in 30 minutes as well. I contacted Customer Service again and this time, Deepak answered my call again. He gave me a deadline of 30 minutes (AGAIN!!!). NO PROGESS IN THE NEXT 30 MINUTES AS WELL.


By then, I was completely exhausted and tried contacting the LAZY Customer service once again. This call was the worst call of my life because the CSR, without even checking my account details, gave me a random, exorbitant figure of Rs. 8000+ as the outstanding amount. The CSR's name is Sautik. I felt numb after he gave me this figure because in my entire life, till date, I havent used Net connection worth Rs. 8000+. When I started screaming at the top of my voice, the CSR checked the facts and agreed that Rs. 8000+ is not my outstanding amount and he also confirmed the payment credit of Rs. 555. I am planning to sue this guy Sautik - being in Customer Service, he is not supposed to give incorrect information to the customer. If he is unable to use his process knowledge properly then he is supposed to transfer to the call to his direct higher-ups, however, he CANNOT give (COMPLETELY) incorrect information to a customer. He gave me a 4 hours deadline again.

It is 9.07 PM now and the net connection is still not on. I have lost all hopes now but I request all the other consumers in this forum to highlight such issues openly more often so that others dont suffer.

I had never used Airtel in the past and this was my first experience with Airtel. This is the first time I am bad mouthing an internet service provider. I have used Vodafone and MTS in the past and their Customer Service and other services are not that bad compared to Airtel. The guys from Customer Service who DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL are providing services on behalf of Airtel which means Airtel should take the accountability of the information provided by the agents. Airtel should know what kind of people it is hiring when it is dealing with millions of customers.

This type of service has spoiled Airtel's image and I will never EVER recommend anyone to opt for Airtel services.

My mobile number is [protected] and my Airtel 3G Dongle connection number is: [protected].

Airtel CANNOT go out of the way to help its customers. Therefore, STAY AWAY from Airtel. It is nothing but a SCAM.

NOTE: Since yesterday, I have requested the Customer Service to send me an e-bill zillions of times, however, they seem to be ignorant and not sure of how they can send an e-bill to a customer. If I would have been in your place, I would have simply verified the customer's e-mail ID and sent him/her a soft copy instead of harassing the already frustrated customer. Still, I have done my duty of paying the bill without even getting one. DOESNT THAT SOUND FUNNY???

Naam bade or Darshan Chote guys. Everybody can earn but only a few manage to provide top quality service. You are from 'make the money and chuck the customer' category.

Airtel Mobile Services — fraud / worst services

I am having a mobile no. [protected] which was earlier a BSNL no.. I have ported in AIRtel, and at the time they assured me good services but once I ported in to Airtel they started harrasment, I have made complaint so many times about the diffrent issues, AT PRESENT FOR NO REASONS MY MOBILE IS NOT WORKING SINCE LAST 24 HRS. AND THE MESSAGE SHOWING SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED, IMADE COMPLAINT ONCE AGAIN BUT TO NO RESPONSE.
I WANTED TO PORT BACK TO OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER BUT THEY DO NOT PERMITS IT BEFORE 3 MONTHS.
AIRTEL IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER IN INDIA, I HAVE EVER SEEN, DO NOT BUY AIRTEL

    I G.virinchi requested for an airtel broadband connection through just dial.One of the sales executive reached my place and took on the details.He had first told me that they can provide me connection here and told that i have to pay 500rs as an advance amount and 50rs towards rental agreement and i have given immediately the said amount of 550 Rs and with in couple of minutes he returned me 500rs and took with him 50rs for the preparation of rental agreement.I donno why he had done all this and he told that he would once again verify that whether connection is possible or not in my locality.The second day another executive reached and told me that connection is possible to give in my place and he charged from me 500rs and gave me a customer enrollment form.the number is 470055.After few days the technician reached the place and told me that connection is not possible and amount of 500rs would be mailed to your place via Cheque,As told by him i received the cheque amount.Then what about the amount of Rs 50?.In this way the executives of so called AIRTEL company are collecting the amount in so other form by providing false information.I do not understand in this way the company is making their executives trained.I have been calling the customer care and lodging a complaint against their executives even providing their details with mobile numbers.But no action is being taken and i dint receive any answer from them regarding the amount of 50 RS.This whole process is on the way since 1month.

    i have no airtel connection now but why do i give them a single rupee nor they should return my amount they charged for whatever cause they took.I hope this complaint would reach to higher officials of the Airtel company.I do not understand,are these executives trained up to do so?

    Finally i could say the procedure of selling Airtel broadband connection is completely misleading.They should charge from the customer only after providing the connection.Collecting amount then techinician coming telling that service cannot be given due to technical problems.Again refunding amount through cheque.All this nonsense is only to waste customers valuable time.

      I purchased an internet plan from Airtel on 28th March 2013. The person of contact, Arun, told me that if I pay 3 months advance sum, I'll get to use the wifi router for free, to which I agreed and paid the amount of[protected]p.m. for 4mbps-40GB plan). While taking the connection, I asked him repeatedly if I could change the plan within the month or after a month if I find out that 40GB isn't enough for my needs to which he concurred. But within a month, once I tried reaching out to the customer care for change in plan they said I can't change the plan within 3 months since I've paid the advance amount for such. I told them that I'm in fact moving up with the plan and hence will be paying extra than what I was supposed to pay for 3 months, and that there representative gave me a confirmation while taking the connection. They said if I wanted to change the plan I'll have to pay the monthly bill accordingly and the 3450Rs I gave at the beginning won't be adjusted,i.e. it's as good as lost. This is a complete lack of coordination among the airtel staff since it was their guy who told me about the plan changing.Now this representative's words are-"the customer care is giving me different answers everytime I try them so give me more time". I'd request Airtel to pay heed to my request because this is a fault on their behalf.

      Airtel — Poor service and misinformation

      i have a airtel dth tv booked in the name of my father dr. ashok agrawal.i have been using this connection since may.recently i recharged the tv,but failed to recive any signal.i complained on costomer care .they sent me an engineer.the engineer told me that your connection is being recharged,and ther is fault in the cable.he adviced to get it changed which i did by spending rs.2000.i called him and next time he said the cable was alright there is some problem with the socket in the router.for which he charged rs 200.finally he told me that the recharge has not been updated from the service provider.this whole process cost me about 3000 rupess,where nothing was required other than some technical update from the company side,leading to wasting of money and time.airtel should take appropriate step and to look into matter and pay for the losses.

        Hello,

        I've made a terrible mistake by choosing Airtel as my mobile communication service provider. My number is [protected] and I'm cheated perennially by Airtel. They ruthlessly fraud and swindle consumers money in every possible way. Every single time I recharge it invariably doesn't work and I have to call customer care to ask them to activate. Let me tell my last experience, I planned to recharge a 3g plan and verified airtel website for Chennai location and choose 255 plan as per the website. I made a online recharge and the plan was not activated. I called the customer care, after lot of difficulty I managed to speak to an who informed that there's no 255 plan and asked to recharge for 250. I queried why it's mentioned as 255 plan in website and he didn't have any answer. I recharged again for rs 250 and boy, this time also it wasn't activated. I waited for one whole day and contacted the customer care, again after much difficulty I managed to speak to another who said he don't have answer and will connect to his senior and disconnected the phone. That's it. I was not able to connect to customer care representative again. This is happening for 4th consecutive time and every time after recharge I have ask them to activate, otherwise they keep mum. Once after recharging for an amount of 350, I didn't use my mobile for a month and when I inserted the sim after an month, I was shocked to see 0 balance. Contacting the customer care, they came up with an answer that they reduced 5rs per day as my mobile was gprs enabled. Come on Airtel. Please beg to me if you want money, but don't cheat gullible .

          1. I received a missed call from [protected] at 12:10:04 p.m., i.e., in the afternoon on 23 Apr 2013. I did not notice the number and thinking it a missed call of my friends, I called back. and when I called it back, it talked of some lottery. Suspecting the call after some time I dropped the call. Later on I realised the number an ISD call. I haven't subscribed for any ISD call then how I could receive or dial an ISD number. I am also writing complaint to Airtel to stop such automatic ISD service immediately on my number [protected], which I bought from Airtel Office, Jhansi. I am really worried about my security and privacy of the information of my mobile.

            Dear Team

            This mail is with regarding to the pathetic service issue which i had faced with Airtel Digital TV after purchase of it.

            On 22nd April, 2013, I had called your customer care for booking of New Airtel Digital TV Connection. After conversation, he sent me a link for the payment through Debit Card for an amount of Rs. 2790. I paid that amount at 12:05 PM on same day and was assured that installation will be done in 24-48 hours. The concerned person, who sent me link for payment has also confirmed about received payment.

            Then I received couple of texts in the night saying about `Thank you for choosing Air tel, Customer ID- [protected], Booking ID- 4494632 and recharges for an amount of Rs 2790. Then I waited on 23rd April and 24th April, 2013 that the installation team will come and install it as I am working in private sector too. So I need to manage my official timings. I had received 1st call regarding the address confirmation on 23rd April and on 2nd call on 24th April and they assured me that installation team will come up very soon.

            On 24th April, 2012 after completion of 48 hours as promised by Airtel, I called up to register a complaint with company itself first. Unfortunately, the pathetic customer care executives either put my call on hold for a long time or disconnected it. I am totally harassed by the service provided by Airtel. They are very quick to deduct the money but when it comes for service delivery then they are the worst.

            Please let me know whom should I believe now..??? I lost faith with Airtel, & planning to disconnect my Mobile, 3G as well & for sure I will spread this across social network shortly, if i am not able to get this issue resolved.

            Furthermore, I am going to lodge a formal complaint in consumer court to solve this issue if it is not solved quickly

              Hello Sir/Madam,

              Myself Kallol Chakraborty, having a airtel no : [protected], taken to Germany with International roaming. But 7th Feb I have lost my mobile in a shop in Germany, so I had blocked my sim for security reason and I had mentioned to customer care guy that please block it temporarily.

              I have returned to India on 13th April, and on 14th April I went to Airtel shop to get back the sim, But they told , the sim card is Permanently Disconnected and I cannot get the sim by any chance.

              This was not my fault and customer care representative had not informed me about this.

              Currently I am in a big trouble and all of the Airtel Persons is putting their hands down and telling me to take a new connection.

              So I am begging a help from you, please help me ...

              Bharti Airtel — Not disconnecting my number

              I had taken a mobile connection from Airtel in Hyderabad. After 9 months i was transfered to Delhi and i opted for Relocation Package from Airtel. As i was told, under this package i will be provided a new number in Delhi and my Hyderabad number will be disconnected automatically. But, even after 5 days, my hyderabad number is still active and they are charging me for 2 seperate numbers. I tried calling the Airtel Customer Care and they were unable to do anything regarding this.
              Moreover, When i asked the customer care number of Hyderabad from Delhi Office, they gave me Chennai' Number which gave me UP's Number. Again, next day Delhi Customer Care Executive gave me some customers number, for calling which i was abused by the person whose number it was.

              Their Customer Service is Pathetic and they are charging me twice the amount i should be charged.

                  i am using airtel number from 2004-05, week ago my line got disconnected, mobile showing no service on screen, when i asked in helpline they are not taking the complian for the same just saying u need to visit airtel office in malad, when i ask for complian number they do not give, when i said i will not be able to go as i am a working man they told no soluation i[censored] want to activate ur line u have to go,

                    Subject: Claim refund against charges deducted from my account because of the engineer’s fault.
                    Dear Sir/Madam,
                    I Sulochana Bajranglal Kyal, a customer of Airtel Digital TV, Customer ID-[protected], phone no.-[protected], have a complaint to be redressed. On 19th October 2012, I had my account recharged with an amount of Rs.650, and I had been promised a service of 6 months. Around the same time, I had registered a complaint for changing the direction of my dish towards satellite 2, since I was unable to view some channels. The complaint no. for the same was 25238984. When, for the same, your engineer arrived at my place, my set top box had been working properly. For another hour, he had been working on my set top box and changing the direction of the dish. After this procedure, he informs me that my set top box had stopped working and for some reasons had to be changed. So the first question is-Am I responsible to pay for your engineer’s fault? Why should I pay for it when my set top box was working properly before your engineer did something to it?
                    Secondly, I wasn’t even informed about any such charges regarding set top box, neither by your engineer nor by any messages or notifications that an amount of Rs.350 had been deducted from my balance.
                    After a couple of months, my T.V suddenly displays the message that there is no more sufficient balance. Shocked at the same, I call up the customer care and then I come to know that Rs.350 has been deducted from my account for changing the set top box. Am I liable to pay for a fault that is not mine?
                    Sir, your engineer had agreed to the fact that it was his fault and he would be liable for any charges. But to the contrary, he registers a complaint on my behalf without informing me about the same and gets Rs.350 deducted from my balance.
                    This had been followed by me calling up the customer care more than a 20 times to claim the refund for charges that I should not be paying for. But, there has been no satisfactory response on your side. Such below par services are not expected from so called “AIRTEL DIGITAL TV”.
                    Finally, on 9th February 2013, I had a complaint no.28162362 registered against the engineer. But again I get the same lax response. After a couple of days, I get a message saying that my complaint had been solved, but I have till date not received any refund of the charges.
                    Having wasted loads of my time with meager success, I am trying this option of mailing my complaint to you. Having got the same cold response a dozen times from the customer care people that “You won’t get the refund, you may do whatever you want to!” I do hope that this time it would be different. It is a shameful thing for you people that you haven’t been able to redress a consumer’s complaint for 8-10 months. I do expect better services from Bharati Telemedia Ltd as a team. If not, I have got last option of getting my claim redressed through consumer courts. I hope you understand the graveness of the situation. I also do hope that you would do the needful as soon as possible and won’t torture consumers in such disgusting manner again. Awaiting your quick reply.

                    Airtel — Airtel Complaints - Wrongly charged for a service that is never used by me

                    My number is [protected].
                    One night i got 2 sms:-
                    "thankyou for downloading Java game and Rs 99/- has been deducted from your account."
                    I was shocked As I have not requested any game.Rs 198/- is deducted from my a/c.
                    I called up customer care but I don't think they are taking any initiative for lodging any complaint.

                    Please ensure refund of Rs 198 to my a/c else I will not only refrain from using airtel service but will be forced to take this matter to media.

                      This is complaint with respect to Fraud of Security Deposit amount, False
                      information and pathetic service provided by both Airtel Gallery as well as 121
                      Customer Care service.

                      Against:
                      Airtel Gallery:
                      TELESOFT, Aditya Nakoda Enclave, Shop No. 11, Ground Floor,
                      Opp. Bigbazar, Sinhagad Road, Pune 411 030

                      Total "8" Accounts sufferring.

                      Incident:
                      I have been PREPAID Airtel user for last 8 years along with my family.
                      In month of February 2013, I got a call from above gallery from one of the
                      lady, who provided me information about new plan converting prepaid to
                      postpaid. Then two Airtel authorized agents visited our house.

                      The information she provided and the agents provided is as follows:
                      1. CUG Family plan for all 5 old prepaid numbers + 3 new postpaid numbers in my
                      family with unlimited free calling within the group; and few extra offers as
                      100 SMS free, airtel to airtel 10 paisa per minute, 149 minutes calling free
                      2. Plan of INR149/- per month per number
                      3. Security Deposit of INR400 per number
                      4. Security Deposit is "Refundable" after 3 months of service usage
                      Also this is also conveyed by Customer Care, Welcome call as well.

                      I trusted them and paid INR400 * 8 = INR3200/- with hope that above mentioned
                      plan will be activated;

                      NOW, this is what happened in reality:
                      1. NO CUG Plan activated
                      2. Plan of INR249/- is activated; instead of INR149/- where GPRS is added,
                      which is never asked for and is useless.
                      3. few VAS got activated without notice
                      4. Security Deposit of only INR200 got sent to Airtel as per customer care guy
                      told.

                      Contacted Customer Care for 21 times (each time got different answers and false
                      promises, and every time there was no past records about my follow ups,
                      mismatch between info given by Airtel Gallery and Customer Care),
                      visited Airtel Gallery 13 times (Each time wrong information, false promises,
                      mismatch between info given by Airtel Gallery and Customer Care, systems not
                      working, security deposits got up wrong by Customer Care, Spelling Mistakes etc
                      etc]

                      Its been more than 3 months of by now, still not a single concern or request
                      got resolved. The bills are still getting generated on wrong plan.
                      Getting calls to pay bills. Service has been stopped on few numbers.

                      This is really pathetic and ridiculous and highly irresponsible and
                      unacceptable behavior.
                      Unfortunately, it is "Airtel" brand, which is going to be degraded.

                      It was worst experience dealing with Airtel.

                        Hi,

                        Sir my name is Sailesh and Airtel is my mobile network. Today[protected] at 8.32 AM, an amount of Rs 85 was deducted from my account saying that i have downloaded MP3FULSONG from Airtel. Actually i did not download any songs or anything from Airtel. Even i could not find any thing like that in my download history as well and in my download folder as well.

                        Even last amount i faced this issue but i ignored it since it was small amount. But these Airtel people are doing it often and this time they directly deducted rs 85 which is not at all acceptable.

                        As soon as i received message saying that an amount of rs 85 was deducted from my acc for download, i called customer care but they are not listening to what we are telling..

                        This is ridiculous and if my amount is not refunded i would go option like choosing another network through number portability option .

                        I want to file a complaint on Airtel on this. Please do assist me.

                        Dear sir

                        my family using 6 airtel mobile numbers. every time very easily without our permission airtel deducting amount from our prepaid account for caller tune or some radio etc. some reason they have deducting our money.after deducting amount from our account we have to call to customer care to stop deducting amount next month onwards. but already deducted amount they are not repaying to us. i dont understand who is giving rights to deduct public money simply without customer permission to airtel. even small money also its our hard work money. so im requesting to stop this immedietly.

                        airtel people deducted my amount 30 rs said java downloaded on 11th january when i had given the complaint they ere arguing that they wont refunded.when i inform them i havent use the cell other than calling or receiving,they started to fight.my balanc was comedown to 6rs.and 20th jan again they deducted rs 5 telling me,they activitated tadlka.com,and charge is 20rs month,but i dint have the blance that much that time,they deucted 5 and i guess waiting for me to recharge again so they r going to deduct.when i havent ask anything from them to activiate why they activiate all these nonsese?andimmediately i asked them, deactiviate they did,but they infromed me they cant give my amount.Airtel people are playing games?with customers money???

                          I have an Airtel Sim card which i am using since 4years now but from last 2 years when i started working in Pune my network has gone drastically down.
                          I don't get network connection even when i am at home. So, Basically having a cell phone is of no use as my parents and friends can never reach me.
                          Thanks to the worse customer service of Airtel and there undependable network connection.
                          i finally requested to port out from Airtel to Idea for better connectivity but Airtel rejected my requested again and again(5 times almost)
                          Now, my point is i live here in Pune (840 kms) far from my home(Nagpur) and my parents/Friends cannot contact me and neither can i most of the time.
                          So, if an unfortunate event happen to me i would be not reachable(As my cell phone does not have network)

                          Just one question Airtel- Rejecting forms of customers without serving the service is it gonna make your company bigger and stronger or just some roadside beggar who is crying for some money.

                          And worse is your customer service.
                          i get call from your CSR everyday. and i explain them everyday the same thing.
                          Your entire CSR team(Agents, Managers, Sr. manager, Delivery head, VP, Everybody associated with it are just bunch of losers who are crying for customers to stay without really doing anything are respecting the fact that they really "PAY' you to serve them.


                          Now i have lost it!
                          I want to port out now from Airtel.
                          I DONT WANT AIRTEL SERVICE ANYMORE NOR ANY RESOLUTION FOR MY NETWORK PROBLEM- I WANT TO PORT OUT(I GUESS THIS IS CLEAR NOW)

                          Applied for Portout and airtel rejects saying they cannot port out because of company owned account. what differance does it make if it is company owned account when the company itself is requesting for the porting

                          Airtel has rejected my port out request due to some legal reason. May i know what is that legal reason. I'm a prepaid customer and does not have any contract with airtel as well....

                            airtel is charging me even after discontinuation of services of my mobile postpaid connection. they discontinued my services at the end of march and they are still charrging me after discontinuing all the services. they were overcharging so i didn't paid the bill which led to discontinuation of services. but even after discontinuation of services airtel is charging me which is very wrong. i m a student i cannot afford to pay such unfair bills .i called airtel customer care and they said they will continue to keep charging me even after discontinuation of services which is very wrong. i even asked them to disconnect and close my number permanently but they are not doing that too . sir plz help me and resolve my issue. my details are as follows

                            Airtel Mobile Phone — Fraud Bills after discontinuing the services

                            My Daughter had a Air tel connection [protected] which she surrendered by talking from the same phone to Airtel help desk on 22, Aug 2009 . After that phone was not operative and message was registration faied so she was sure the disconnection has happened.
                            Now she is being called and harressed that she has unpaid bill of Rs 22000 for calls made to Europe and a court case will be done in some other city and you will face trouble otherwise pay this amount.
                            Same thing happend with couple of my friend who thought it is better to pay as the amounts were small.Company was Airtel again and again . They are also going to put the complain with details now .
                            I suggest airtel must find out about this fraud and extorsions that is going on in their company.

                            Other readers pl compaint to consumer courts and on this forum if you have faced this problem . We as citizens must take actions to force companies to stop fraudulant practices and harassment of customers.

When i make a call to some one 90 paisa deducted in my account. Previously the offer provided as AtoA 10 paisa Ato other mobiles 30 paise. I contact 3 times to the customer care executive but there is no proper response. I decided to move another network but i am not satisfied the behavior of airtel company. More than 7 years customer is not happy then how about the new comers.

                              Airtel Prepaid — not satisfied with customer care and service

                              To day in morning I found my airtel prepaid balance is deducted by 60 rupees. I made complain twice to the customer care but I found it totally disappointed the way they responded. The point is here is that my balance is deducted for the service which I never called for. And could’t retrieves my total amount. father disappointment was customer care.

                                hi every one just want to create a awareness of online booking of airtel dtv.. i am from chennai booked the airtel DTV HD Plus ID [protected] on April 22, 2013 Sunday, i was guided by airtel CC to do the payment by doing it TWO times in credit card (2*2990=5980) because of wrong messege i got in the confirmation screen.

                                After payment the CC gave assurance that the installation will get done with in 48 hrs. with bit luck today i got a call from airtel technician for installation but he told like they dont have stock for remote controll for that hd PLUS SET TOP BOX he also told that previous customer also had the same problem in getting the remote he is wating for 1 month, i also asked without the stock availability how they gave assurance they installation will be done with in 48 hrs ?, today was wost day after all i tried 9 times almost spend a hr to reached airtel DTV CC( DAILED 12148) n [protected] spoke regarding booking cancellation and refund my money noN of the responded a single word regarding this time, i have list of CC people voice recorded
                                when i play back its really craZy about the response they gave AND TRNFERING call to his higher authority got dropped not picked up.. few of the cc speaks hindi even though i select english language IVRS and droped the call.. this really wost ...

                                how can we use a DTV without a remote ?
                                they not even registered a complain or took a request from me for booking cancellation or remote stock avilable.

                                i know this will create a awarness to people how lazy and doing a online booking and dont like to use the DTH without remote.

                                Airtel DTH — airtel Cheated my after purchasing DTH HD

                                Hi,
                                I purchased airtel dth over the phone and was assured the installation within 24 hrs. The cusomer id for the installation was given to me is [protected]. Nobody came to install even after calling to sales people, customer services and even nodal officer airtel digital tv, chandigarh. Three days later i sent a request for cancellation of the dth purchase and refund. I was assured that refund will come to account in next 7 days. Now its been over 10 days and i have sent many reminder to customer services, nodal officer and made several calls to customer services and wasted lot of money and time. But they dont seem to interested in refunding my money, neither they are replying to my mails.

                                PLease help Me to teach these people a lesson and get my refund of 2264/-

                                  I have received a sms from airtel on my airtel number [protected] on 22nd April that I will get a talktime of Rs.220 on doing a recharge of Rs.200. So I have done a recharge of Rs.200 on my airtel number [protected] on 23rd April. But I got only Rs.175 as talktime. I don't know the reason. I feel cheated. Please look into the matter.

                                      Mr. Dharamveer Singh (Chamber 35, Westend Wing Tis Hazari Court Delhi 110054) has issued a Legal Notice under section 403, 405, 406, read with section 420 of the IPC. I am sure Mr Dharamveer Singh has not verified the issues before sending the Legal Notice. We have been facing issues with Airtel Customer Service for a long time, for which I have always registered complaints on Airtel hotline number ([protected]).

                                      The connection in question is for fixed line number [protected] and account number[protected]. Due to poor and rude customer service we had requested closure of connection in December, 2012. We were promised plan change in sometime early September-2012 or October-2012. The offered plan was not given on the account. Repeated requests and complaints at Airtel Customer Service were of no help. A request for account closure was made in December’2012. Thereafter, we started receiving several calls stating that we do not close the connection. Subsequently, Airtel Customer service REPETEADLY offered that we keep the connection for next 3 months without any rental. We still requested closure.

                                      We have been always communicated that Airtel postpaid services have been charged on pro rata basis. A cheque for last payment was made on 5/1/2013. This was returned as Alteration in payees. Subsequently a cheque payment was made on 18/1/2013 for the amount of Rs.1570 vide Cheque no 383858 from Oriental bank of Commerce and a receipt for same was issued(receipt no. 8163432). Thereafter, no statements were received from Airtel and we have not availed any of Airtel’s services.

                                      Now we have received a legal notice. I am at loss to understand the reason. This definitely is harassment of a common man by a MNC to fleece us of money, eventhough we have made the payment as communicated by Airtel.

                                      Please put a stop to this harassment and resolve the issue

                                      AirTel — Sending Legal Notice for a closed account

                                      I had a airtel connection and it was closed in August. I have the receipt from Airtel with the final closing payment and their confirmation that the account has been closed with no outstanding dues.

                                      However, I just received a Legal notice from Airtel mentioning that there are over 2000 dues in the account. Along with this, I had received few rude calls from airtel few weeks back on the outstanding. On which I told that I have the receipt of account closure and they can come to my home to check the receipt.

                                      What are the options I have. This experience has totally frustated me and I feel harassed.

                                      Airtel — Layer Notice Issued from Airtel

                                      Hi,

                                      This is Prasanna, my issues is regarding alleged notice sent by Airtel even after I made all the payment and requested for migration.
                                      I had taken a post paid sim from Airtel as there were lot of description found in bill I really fed up and requested for migration to prepaid connection as I was desperately needed that number, I paid all the amount till the day I applied (Saturday) for migration (I have all the bills). Finally those outlet guys said it will get migrated in 24 hrs and gave a new sim and said put this sim when you get message saying Invalid simm, I agreed and left the outlet. I was waiting for 24hrs and I did not get message Invalid sim as that was sunday I thought it might take one more day like that but I did not get message saying Invalid SIM i.e number was not migrated to prepaid. As I was @ chennai by that time I could not reach out to outlet as well as I tried calling to Airtel customer care but they said we have not received any request you just confirm with outlet guys. It was really bothered me so I went to Airtel outlet after 1 week as I was waiting for week end, they said I requested sir but it is not processed I don't know why and asked me to clear the amount for hole week and then they will request once again. I was really bothered and said Se it was not mistake from my side and still you guys are asking me to pay the bill which is really not a problem from my side and I will not pay the bill and left the outlet. But that no was active until 1 or more month till the delay payment date and disconnected the connection, I have not done anything else but just before 2 weeks they issued the layer notice to my communication address given. So Please tell me what to do now?

                                      Airtel — Harassment on connection closure request

                                      I placed a request to close my connection on 12th May, 2011. Till now they haven't closed my connection and kept on sending bills regularly. They called atleast a million times even during odd hours in the night. I even complained the nodal office of Andhra Pradesh and got a email reply but things even got worse. One lady called Ankita, part of Airtel legal department called today and threatened us to pay. I clearly said that I'm ready to pay whatever I actually need to pay. She said that she would send an appropriate bill and I agreed to pay if its correct bill. But she called us couple of times but didn't send any email and threatening us to pay something. I said that I didn't need to pay some amount but I'll pay the correct amount. She is using very indecent language and shouted like anything. This is very unfortunate and I didn't expect this from Airtel.

                                      I've been communicating to the Airtel Nodal officer, AP. I also forwarded the same to Sunil.[protected]@airtel.in.
                                      I hope it reaches Sunil this time.

                                      I believe atleast after seeing this complaint some action would be taken from Airtel.

                                      Thanks for working on this complaint. I'd taken this connection in my wife's name and she has been tracking complaints with grievance system in Airtel itself. We got a reply from Appellate and her email states that our connection was closed on 23rd June we need to pay the rental till that time.

                                      IT'S REALLY NOT FAIR AT ALL.

                                      WE raised the close request and surrendered the equipments to Airtel on 12th May. Within 48 Hrs or something is what the executive said to process the request. Now if Airtel closes my connection after
                                      43 days and ask us to pay for rental till that time is really unfair from Airtel side.

                                      I still believe Airtel that I'd get justice from Airtel and I'd be charged only for the period from Mar 26th 2011 to May 12th 2011. I always want to be honest and I expect the same from Airtel too.

                                      I've not seen any action taken on my request so far. Could you please look into this issue?
                                      I keep getting calls from unknown persons claiming that they are from Airtel legal department and they are using very indecent language. I've clearly mentioned to you as well as them that I'm ready to pay whatever is the actual due. I already informed you as well as appellate AP. But nothing is happening from Airtel side. Even after proving that the mistake is from Airtel, why am I not getting the real bills. People ask me to pay just Rs.500 and close it when I'm ready to pay around Rs.800/900 but with the correct bill.
                                      I don't really understand whats happening.

                                        I would like to give a complain that i am getting unknown messages & Calls from [protected] (UP East). and these msgs are done by a male person when I call back that number he disconnect i am really frustrated with these call & SMS. please see to the problem.

                                        As we lived in family, one airtel number is constantly annoying to my family as well as to my personal mobile number is [protected]. Now, the stage is that it is very problematic for my family members (father, mother and sister). Even when i am at class the person is calling me. The number is active every week. So, it is my humble request to give the full details of the airtel mobile number. The mobile number is [protected] Even the call is coming at mid-night also.

                                        So, pl give me full details to my mail id ([protected]@gmail.com).Treat, this is as my final step to stop the unwanted calls.
