For long time Airtel had Rs. 333/- for full talk time, but now with same amount, there's some other service (sms, internet, local call)
Using on-line recharge facility (from bank acct) I use to top-up the airtel with Rs. 333/- which always meant for full talk time.
But now Airtel changed full talk time amt. that's fine, but why this old full talk time amount 333 used for some crappy top-up?
This means each time some one want to top-up, using online service, need to cross check if there are any changes.
Airtel should have updated user about this.
When airtel can send sooo many crappy sms (related to, love, bollywood, bikini, jotishi, useless offers) why not some thing useful sms.
My complaint's why the popular full talk time amount is being used for some other mix service, which is not much useful to subscriber, airtel should have used some other amt, (e.g 332, 334, etc) for this new mix service plan.

This is clear case of misleading the subscriber using popular full talk time amount.
Thank to govt. now there's number portability.

AirTel — related to service

this is to inform that on 2nd jan i called up customer care because i was facing problem in using gprs facility in my phone instead of helpin me they created a mess for me. they gave me alot of number to called up so that i can solve my problem but it didnt. when i call in the given number the person said your state is diffrent and you should contact the respective customer care service then again they give me new numbr that day i calledup atleast 20 numbers all went wrong as i was in rooming i balance got finished because of that.my balance was 150 and at the end it left with 10rs only. And also i recharged my cell by 100rs but it didnt get the balance yet when i said i'll complain about all the things you done to me they cut my phne and then stop pickin up. I need my 150 + 100 rupees back as soon as possible

Airtel — Registration Crap

Month back i bought 2 sim cards from AIRTEL. 100rs each +110Rs recharge for both. it took 2days to start the service later after 2days it started working and again after 2 days it stopped working. reason document rejection. Again i submitted the doc's at airtel office but they rejected! 2nd time i submitted it again, got rejected!! 3rd time i went at airtel office to enquire about the status they said both the numbers are deleted from the system!!!
and they have no specific reason for so.!!!! Really pathethic service AIRTEL provides!!

There's already change in FTT (full talk time) amount, you will change that or will refund the amount or convert charges to FTT?

    complaint number: PR[protected].
    many times we registered complaint with customer care and supervisor but we are not getting any solution.
    they self will give request number and without solving problem they will CLOSE to problem request number.

    everything under control you people . WE ARE FOOLISH PUBLIC RIGHT!!!!

    check our complaint history then you will come to know how many times we requested to solve problem.

    Note: we are unable to contact Customer care. WHY YOU PEOPLE BLOCKED OUR NUMBER IN IVR?

    AIRTEL really do not respect to customers.

    they will give miss call and automatic sms will come your problem has been resolved. airtel do formality with customers . sometimes me and my friends we thing we did mistake to use MNP!!!!

      I am writing to express my utter disatisication and complain on the services received from Airtel DTH services.
      I am not sure what is the resolution time(SLA) and what are they doing to help solving customers problems.
      There are many points which I would like to highlight. As I started to get the problem on 1st of May 2013 and till date 07th May 2013
      it stays in unresolved status after lodging multiple complaints with Airtel DTH Cust Care/Nodal office. It's a total pain using this service from Airtel DTH.

      1. I logded a complaint on 01st May 2013, Complaint no[protected]. I was given assurance that within 24 hours the issue will be resolved.
      The issue was "No Signal". But at end of 2nd May, it was not resolved.
      2. On 2nd May 2013, I called up Cust Care and again 24 hours assurance was given. And thanks for the consistency that the issue was not resolved.
      Airtel DTH after sales is simply a failure again.
      3. On 3rd May 2013, I got a new complaint number :[protected] and again the same parrot lines from Cust Care people ie. we give you assurance of 24 hours.
      But not resolved. And I get an sms saying my old complaint number 30126165 is resolved.
      4. Again the same happened on 4th May and 5th day , the issue is not resolved.

      5. On 5th of May I get an sms saying my account is valid till 5th May 2013.I called up Cust care to extend the validity for the period I have not used.
      But it was denied and told me that it can only be done after the issue is resolved.
      6. On 6th May I recharged and problem was not resolved.
      7. On 7th May the same issue not resolved..

      I am more than happy to disconnect it but Will Airtel DTH pay me the money back for SetTopBox which is outsourced to
      some sales agency called "Khushi Enterprises,Wakad,Dange Chowk Pune".

      It may be that Airtel DTH is having more channels in HD or in total more channels. But Sorry to say,this is the worst DTH service in the whole country in terms of customer satisfaction.
      We don't have any other option except going to Consumer Court and Consumer forums discussing on this.

      I have all the evidences of follow up done with airtel service centres and service received from them. Also I tried to contact senior officials of Airtel but in vain.


      Please advice on how to go ahead and taking legal action against this incompetent Satellite DTH running and cheating common man.

      airtel digital TV/DTH — WORST SERVICES OF AIRTEL

      I have Purchased Airtel Digiatal TV/DTH considering, being renowned co. they will provide me good service. BUT soon i came to know they are WORST SERVICE PROVIDER .There picture quality is very Low and channel used to override each other, means when we r watching one channel then of voice other channel come. THIS IS . I have Compliant Lots Of time. But they dont react. BASTERED COMPANY. I m Going to THROW there STB.

      Airtel DTH — Airtel DTH - Worst Service

      Hi,

      I took a new connection for Airtel DTH on 19/4/2010 in Bangalore.My Customer ID is [protected]. The problem started the next day itself. There was no signal available.I called the Customare Care
      person and logged a Service request on 20/4/2010.They promised that the problem would be fixed in the next 24 hours. It is more than 72 hours and nobody has called or come yet.
      We have called the Customer Care several times and everytime they just escalate the issue internally.No action is ever taken. Out of our frustration, we even visited the Airtel Relationship Center at 100 feet Road,Bagalore. We spoke to Mr. Satish there and came to know that he cannot help and infact there was no one at the center who could help or guide us.Mr. Satish gave us the mobile number of the Sales Manager, Mr. Jayram. We personaly spoke to Mr Jayram on 22/4/2010 and he took some area representative into conference and assured that somebody will come and fix the problem by that night itslef. Nobody came. Today morning, 23/4/2010, we called Jayram again and he again tries to take somebody into conference. This story repeats everyday.
      It is hardly 5 days that we have taken the connection and out of this 5 days, we have spent 4 days speaking to cutomer care representatives, relationship representatives and sales manager.

      Our DTH signal is still unavailable.

      Airtel DTH — charged again for ngc hd

      I purchase an Airtel digital tv on 2 nd of July 2010. At that time it was said that Fifa 2010 will be available in Hd format and after fifa 2010 new hd channel will be added at free of cost as i activated ESPN HD with Rs:- 100. But after NGC HD activated Rs:- 16.5 is deducted from my account. Please give me the right solution why again money is deducted from my account, because ESPN hd package is for one month but i got the facility only for 11 days. So solve my problem why it is deducted two times?

      I made the big mistake of opting for airtel dth plan.my complaint Id is 5477040.I have bee n following up with a mr.jag dish,miss reena for the last 2 days.all I am getting is a series of explanations but no action at all.I am really frustated with the services.I will never recommend airtel dth to anybody.they don't care about wasting your time and are a group of stupid with 0 accountability.I would love to go to consumer court for their callousness.I have wasted3 days waiting for them to show up.
      Worst in service, even the customer care. I recharged my account with 1000 throught online and it got credited. but after 2days my balance become -ve and a transaction with "reversal of payment" was updated. when i ask customer care that they said that transaction was made by my bank itself. and also i didnt' get good response from customer care executives. Airtel DTH, worst in service.

      AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — unresolved error

      its been three days since i got this new Airtel connection along with my Sony TV

      i tried airtel customer care they say still 48 hrs i do not understand y i get only the demo channel and nothing else

      AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Unresolved complaint and Pathetic Customer support

      Hello,
      My DTH User ID: [protected] MY STB is a DVR.
      My DTH Airtel Digital tv connection had been working fine for the last 1 and a half years.
      during the last month an engineer called from your side to migrate and realign the dish towards a new satellite.
      After a couploe of weeks I received No Signal error message B001.
      I lodged a complain 9395618. Which was closed automatically without a call coming from your side.
      When I called customer support I was given a new complain number: 9433437.
      After calling for 4 Days and the calls being forwarded to the customer support supervisors multiple times an engineer was sent, who came without Any ID or uniform, and he was unable to solve the problem.
      He came went to Check the Dish said everything was alright, and then came back near the STB, did not understand what the problem was, and changed the antennae wire connector pin, Obviously that did not solve the problem.
      He waited for TEN minutes, when nothing happened he went off saying I will bring another engineer and come back.
      He did not return.
      I Called up Customer care the next day I received a pathetic response from the superior that as my account was suspended my complain was not being taken care of.
      When I tried facing my first complain for Five days, whenever I called i received a response that Sorry our system is under update please call back in an hours time!
      I did not recharge my account as My balance was getting deducted and I was not receiving any channels.
      I was NOT informed about this when I had placed the complaint.
      Now when a new engineer came, he went up and said the LNB had moved from it's place and therefore there was no signal.
      He realigned and I started receiving my channels, I recharged my STB.
      Everything worked for about half an hour and then I started receiving Error SM1.
      I called that engineer again, and now he said that that the LNB is faulty therefore I am receiving this error.
      He said I am replacing the LNB with the one I have which has only one connection and I will come and replace this the next day.
      Three MORE days have passed now.
      That particular engineer is not answering my calls.
      Neither have I received a call from the customer support department.
      It is absolutely annoying to watch TV as after one channel the other gets skipped as there is no signal on the second antennae.

      So many hours have been wasted with following up with your customer support, that I do not want to call them again.

      Please reply by what Maximum time my problem would be solved or else please send someone with my refund and collect your dish and STB.
      I would rather switch to some other service if you cannot resolve a simple problem like this for so many days.

        Balance deduction from main balance inspite of data pack being activated

        In my Airtel Mobile, I am getting my MMS as Text massage. Where there is a link and a password is given, but the link is not opeing. The link is like http://legacy.dwl.co.in:8080/mmcp.
        And the Customer Care executives are not helping me to get my MMS.

        Airtel — MMS related issue

        My Airtel Mob# is [protected].

        I have received a MMS from my friend for which I have been given link http://125.21.241.88/mms/ and user id and password to view the MMS. However, when I try with the provided userid and pwd, I am getting error that user id and pwd are incorrect.

        I tried to call Airtel customer care(121) and they didn't had any idea about this and after making me wait for 10 mins they told me to call technical assistance at 12118. When I called technical assiatnce, they also don't had any idea and asked me to call Customer care.

        Just let me know, if your service executives are not trained enough, why you guys charge for customer care.

        I am really very disappointed.

          Hi,

          I am using ICICI banking online recharge facility for online recharge on my AIRTEL prepaid mobile number [protected] (recharge of Rs 333) I am using this faclity for 1-2 years for recharging my mobile, today I did recharge of 333 Rs and was SHOCKED by seeing that my Account balance was not increased instead they added 333 Rs to Local Balance, Before Recharging my number I looked into the recharge options available through ICICI bank online recharge,

          When I call customer care they talk to me in a very much un professional manner,and told me "Pehle Offers check karna tha, recharge kyun kiya", I have checked the Denomination options for Airtel Rechage from ICICI Bank Portal before recharging & Attaching the same. It says 333 Talktime in RS 333 Rechage, It never says that it will not increase the main Account balance.

          I am trying AIRTEL customer care for the Last 1 hour and they are not picking my call... WHAT A PATHETIC BEHAVIOR?

          Please do the needful so that this Fraud should be prevented.

          Hi I am vaman. I got a call from airtel executive from bandra Cell No. [protected]. Then they told me about one skim that If I paid 600 RS. then all my outgoing calls becomes 25 Ps for a-a, 50 Ps for locals, and 1 Rs for STD. I gave 600 Rs to them and they told me that after 2 HRs this service is activated in my phone. But till now it is not activated. Even when I am trying to call on these numbers such as [protected], [protected] I am getting that is number is invalid. So I am too much worry about this incident as they might be fruad and can do this to many or in future they might do this to others also...

          Bharti Airtel — No recharge available

          Hi my name is asif and i am from srinagar Kashmir. The Airtel dealers and retailers are on strike here and no recharge is availbale. they r saying that untill their demands r fulfilled they will not conduct any transaction. So kindly tell us Wat we people of Kashmir have to Do to these Sims withour recharge.
          The sims r of no use wen there in no balance to call anyone. PLz concern ur higher authorities regarding the problem and provide us with recharge.
          In this month total 50 Rs deducted from my balance without any intimation, giving messages of jobs & Chat, which is very bad service i found.
          My cell No. [protected] as previously given complaint of deduction of 50 Rs from balance. Please investigate immediately & return the deducted amount.

          online recharge — Online recharge scam

          I had recharged a tata docomo number ([protected]) on 20/12/09 at around 7 pm for Rs 300. Tracking number is 49373456. This ezrecharge portal looked like a good option and so i went ahead considering all the fake promises that they had made online. My mode of payment was net banking through axis bank.

          My account has not been recharged even now. Not only that, they have very conveniently not given any contact number on which we can complaint about the same. I complained on the one email address that they have posted as contact, and not one of my emails has been replied to

          I think its a scam. The CCAvenue payment gateway (some address in santacruz) is also a scam. I need my money back immediately.

          Please do the needful urgently.

          I am airtel prepaid user [protected], I recharged my number online using https://pay.airtel.com/online-payments/prepaidResponse.do, this is official website of airtel to recharge mobile. On this website it was clearly mentioned that on recharge of Rs. 46 I would get balance of Rs. 39 in my main balance, I recharged on 11/07/2013 with Rs 46 voucher but i din't get Rs. 39 and instead of that I get some roaming pack activated, that way I feel cheated from airtel, I contacted airtel customer care, their representative told me that there is no such voucher available of Rs. 46 in which I can get Rs. 39 balance. My complaint is that why there is information available on airtel's website if no such voucher exists, I want money back in bank account or balance in my airtel number.

            i have rechrged with 500 rs on 3 may 2013 night and before that i had 3g internet pack 249 rs .i had 3 balance but airtel cut main balance for internet surfing.when i got to know about this froud then i tryed calling customer care.after so many try i got connected and the customer care exicutive said that there was i technical problem.So it their fault so they will retun the balance in 4 hrs but after 10 hrs also i did not got my balance back and i my main balance getting deducted for internet surffing.
            When i tryed to connect with customer care they cut the phone after connecting to customer care so many times.

            This is veary rude behaviur with customer.

            Its take so much my my valuable time and give so much mental pressure.

            At the same time i have recharged with 3g pack but i hardly get 2g seed for net.I complained about the same.They say that there is no problem and things will improve.But still speed of net connection is so slow.

            Airtel — Balance Deduction even after several complaints

            Hi,

            I am facing a problem, for some astrology pack airtel people have deducted 10 Rs from my account, after several calls to customer care they have refunded and assured me that service is deactivated, but afteronly two days again same message appears and 10Rs. is deducted, and customer care exec. says that i have subscribed to This service and this not there fault.
            This issue when registered withg senior exec. of customer service they ask to wait 4 24 hours, but no help.

            i have mailed 2 complaints since yesterday and no action has been taken by airtel yet.
            i have trying airtel customer care since so many days but their all lines are busy.

            every month i recharge with a message pack of rs. 67 and every month 15-20 days they charge me for messaging !! i m really frustrated with this..i call them 4-5 times a day but no response and this condition is worsening !! pls do help me to take some action against them !!

              I bought a new prepaid connection of airtel in April and a few days back activated 2G unlimited (2 GB) pack worth Rs. 199 from mobile store sector 18 noida.

              While the service seems ok, but additional charges are being deducted from my talktime although i have only used about 10% of my 2GB quota. Charges of about Rs 150 plus have been deducted in lieu of data usage after the internet pack was activated.

              Also now the data usage balance dropped suddenly from 1800 mb to 1300 mb last evening.

              Adding to all this trouble call from my mobile does not get transferred to the customer care executive every time i try to connect to one on 121 / [protected] (it drops just when my call is being transferred).
              When I tried from a different mobile i am being asked of some mobile pin I am not aware of.

              Is this some way of tricking customers of prepaid. I am very disturbed at the moment an require a satisfactory solution and reimbursement the faulty charges/data deduction.

              Airtel co as been wrongly deducting money from my sister prepaid card when she has not opted for any facility.
              She had complained in the customer service twice for the refund in the end they said they will refund the money back on Feb 8 i.e. today

              Airtel, the pathetic service provider — Excess Deductions

              I had recharged my phone for Value 249, which says it will be a full talk time.
              After I made 1 call for 2-3 mins, I started getting messages every 5 mins, each showing some deductions and erduced balanced, without calling anyone.
              I had made n number of calls to all customer care numbers with comlaint number, but use, just got comlaint number and no action.

              I received a call from your executive yesterday, and today excess charges of Rs. 94 have been reimbursed back but have not yet received any clarification/reversal for the sudden drop in data balance from 1800 MB to close to 1300 MB (which I am sure I did not use).

                My name is Garima Jain. My airtel postpaid no. is [protected]. I use dongle for 3G internet connection.
                According to the bill generated for my cycle from 11/3/2013 to 10/4/2013, I had used 1285738 Kb which is 1255.6MB
                When I messaged to check my postpaid usage till 9/4/2013 8:50:18PM, I received a message that I have used only 668.12MB which according to the bill is around 1000MB.(If i exclude my usage for 10th April, 2013)
                I would like to know why the usage stated in the message doesnt match with bill. I had raised compliants but have got no valid resolution.

                Sir,
                I have telephone + broadband connection of Airtel ([protected]). It was agreed between me and Airtel executive that I will be migrated to Retaintion-499 plan with effect from March2011. Which did not happen.
                In the month of May 2011, I had a long discussion with Airtel executives over email and telephone. They apologised for their mistake and promised to migrate me into Retaintion-499 plan with immediate effect.

                AirTel — Discrepancy in bill

                Hi Sir,

                Needed your attention towards the below issue which is pending with artel since a month. No action is taken against the company and no notification were given to us despite of making repeatative calls and complaints registered in customer care. Every time they close the query case without informing us. In last 1 month we made around 6-7 calls for the same issue and also followed it up via mails , but sadly no move was made towards this.

                While registering our grievances we have already made it cleared that without solving the query we are not going to pay the bills , but despite of that we are receiving calls for the same

                here is the description of the complaint

                I have down loaded my bill for the period from[protected] to 16.7.2011 which
                is for Rs. 826/-. In this connection it is stated that I have already
                registered my complaint vide reference no. 2322272 which is still
                pending for clearance. The main issue is that there is discrepancy in
                bill amount. On perusal of details of DSL usage, it is noticed that on
                3rd & 4th july excess amount on a/c of DSL usage has been shown. In
                this connection it is further stated that as per my existing plan
                there will be no charges from 20.00 hrs to 8.00 hrs and the timing of
                down load has been shown 17.56 & 19.54. It is not understood how
                withing 5 minutes huge down loading can be undertaken. It is showing 1GB of download in 4mins.There is
                discrepancy on both the dates and need your attention on this point.
                You may also see my past accounts where in my monthly bill is around
                Rs. 495/-. Even I am unable to utilised the free calls and down
                loading.
                There is one more points to invite your attention that
                grivances are not resolved from your end and it is closed from your
                end without any intimation to customer which is not proper for a
                reputed company like you.
                It is therefore requested to kindly look into the matter and
                resolve my issue and discrepancy pointed out above may be rectified at
                the earliest under advice to me.
                Also despite of clearing mentioning in the complaint that till this is resolved we won;t be paying the bill incuding the late fee but in this month's bill again the late fee hasbeen charged. We are ready to pay the actual usage amount. We need airtel to provide us the complte breakup of the bill.

I was having thee connection of Airtel prepaid since last two year but I just want to port it into postpaid connection. As per Airtel theey have confirmed me I will get thee connection withein a week. I have submitted my full document and also verified my address. Its really very worst service received by any company in life and I really never suggest any one to continue withe Airlel.

                      Dear Team,

                      I have done an online special recharge of Rs 97 on May 2nd 2013 through airtel.in for mobile number [protected], but yet the amount is not credited in spite debited from my credit card which I used during my transaction. Not sure why Airtel service provider is putting their customers in trouble even though I have used their own portal for online recharge. Am really disturbed and fed with this issue.

Further, they have debited Rs. 160/- as charges without any calls made by me. I pray for this amount also and compensation for Rs. 50000/- towards mental torture given by the Airtel office so far.                           Hi,

                          My name is Harsh and I had applied online for Airtel DTH connection on 2nd May 2013 (Single Biggest error of my life since I moved to Bangalore). I was given a commitment that the connection would be made within 24 to 48 Hrs. When I called today at the center, I spoke to the floor supervisor Prabhakar, he was courteous but once again gave false commitment that someone would contact for installation within 20 mins. I called back after 3 Hrs. and spoke to Harish another floor supervisor and he just disconnected my call. I must have called at least 20 times today, but no one has given a proper response. Then I spoke to Rajesh from the Escalation team. I am not sure whether he thought that I was an or he actually was too dumb to make false pretenses. I have asked for cancellation of my order and the entire refund of new connection as well as recharge of 1790+1790+200= INR 3780/-.

                          My Customer(Haha, this is a joke since I have not seen anyone treat a customer this way) ID: [protected].

                          P.S:- Teach Airtel DTH employees some decency and shame so as not to embarrass the Airtel name (which by the way I will never trust again)

                          AirTel — No installation

                          Its been 5 days I paid Rs.500 for setting up an Airtel internet connection along with a landline. I paid the amount to Mr.Joseph Manohar an executive with Airtel on the 29th of march 2008. He has taken Rs. 500 saying for instllation and never gave a bill for that. And then he said the digging of road and the Box would be set up on Sunday the 30th of march 2008 which was not done. And i called him and he promised that it would be done by monday and the complete installation would be done by tuesday and up an running internet will be available. It was not done on monday. When I called him on monday evening he said that because i have Airtel to Airtel one number free i have to give those numbers first. I dont what he'll do with the numbers without any connection at all. is this not ridiculous. Then i called him on tuesday agian. He said the workers are working at my home and will be done today. Then again i called my home and enquired if any work is going on since i was out in the city. They said no. I called him again and he says that the workers have gone to fetch some machinery to work. And as usual the day was wasted. I called him on wednesday again and to my surprise one of his friend's answered saying that he is not there and he is not in the office and he has put his mobile in his room and has gone out. Are these the ethics they have. And now today when i call him in the morning at around 8:00 am he doesnt pick up the call. I called him 15 times and the 16th time he switched his mobile off. And now i am calling him from a different number. He says all night they had a party in Country club and so he was sleeping and got up from bed at 11:30 in the morning. When I asked him about the connection he says he will do it tomorrow and i am sure that will not be done tomorrow the 4th of april. I asked him his office number which he dint give me at all and said will do it by tomorrow. And he says he has no problem if i call his office also. Can any lega action be taken against this AIRTEL as i dont like abusing people. CAN ANY ONE HEP ME OUT IN THIS ISSUE??????????

                          dear sir first find out who this guy is . Is is really an Airtel guy or not. It is funny these big companies appoint funny agents and we get all kinds of sms and finally nothing happens. These agents seems to be fooloing the public and Airtel. WHY SHOULD A BIG COMPANY LIKE AIRTEL APPOINT AGENTS ?? THEY HAVE THEIR OWN BRANCHES AND STAFF . WHY NOT THEY DO THE WORK.                           My name is Sparsh.
                          i took airtel connection as i was pretty satisfied with my current airtel mobile engagement with airtel.
                          I decided to take a new airtel DTH connection on Sunday.When i first rang ur customer care for information ,there was a lady Preethi who explained me all the stuff pretty nicely and rang me up 5 times in next 15 mins to take the connection .I paid through IVR system and took the highest package available.
                          So now let me tell you my customer id ,it is [protected].

                          I was told by Preethi that the installation will be done in 48 hrs.
                          I receive a msg on the 40 hr that my account has been credited with the amount and this is customer id.

                          I then get a msg that my installation is scheduled at 4pm and that a service engineer would contact me.
                          I leave my work and come back home to wait for the technician.Nobody gave me a call and i called the customer care executive,the answer that i was given was wait for 1 more hr and that i would get a call back.
                          i didn't get any and kept on calling the customer care with the same blunt answer.neither was i given any contact number ,nor did i receive any call back.after 7 calls i was said that service engineer missed the appointment ...why?if that was the case could i not get any intimation call before or could this not be conveyed during the calls that i made to customer care.
                          I then received a complaint number on my mobile and was given a number to contact.The guy on that number never picks up any call.The complaint number is 3646521.The complaint got resolved automatically ,i dont know why?
                          I was told by the customer care that it will be installed at my place before 8 pm and that somebody would call me.
                          I did receive a call and the guy said that he would be coming to my place in the evening and that it would be installed.
                          nobody called and nobody turned up.

                          next day i get call saying it will be done in evening,again nobody called or turned up.

                          repeatedly customer care said that the service engineer has missed the appointment.

                          Then i talked to customer care and asked them to forward my call to somebody higher and then i got a call back from Mr sarvannan yesterday .When i asked him the status he said that u can have my word i already had a chat with the service engineer and he would be at your place to install that and that there is no need to escalate this.

                          Also please bear in mind that i had already put a mail to the nodal office who till now has not even bothered to call me or reply back to my mail.

                          Today morning i again received a call saying that it will be done by evening from some technician.

                          I came back home early waiting for that technician but nobody bothered to call nor did anybody come.
                          I then called up the customer care and asked for mr.sarvannan,he didn't respond and somebody else responded saying that the technician might have missed the appointment and please give us 1 more chance we will do it tomorrow.

                          i am really out of my mind now.

                          6 days have passed and this is the status.

                          I HAD APPLIED FOR DTH THROUGH INTERNET. ONE GUY CALL LALITH CALLED ME REPEATEDLY FOR AIRTEL DTH TO REMIT THE MONEY OF RS.1590. I TOLD HIM THAT I CAN PAY CASH OR ONLINE. LASTLY WE AGREED ON ONLINE. POST PAYMENT OF CASH HE PROMISED THAT I'LL GET THE CONNECTION WITHIN 1 DAY. I WAITED FOR 3 DAYS AND CALLED DTH CUSTOMER CARE WHO CONFIRMED THAT I'LL GET THE CONNECTION ONLY AFTER 72 HOURS IF THE REMITTANCE IS THROUGH ONLINE. I WAS SO FRUSTRATED AS THESE CRITICAL MATERIAL FACTS WERE NOT DISCLOSED AT THE TIME OF SALES.

                          AFTER PUSHING THE CALL CENTER EXECUTIVE I GOT A CALL POST 2 DAYS CONFIRMING MY CUSTOMER ID [protected]. NOW IT IS ALMOST 2 WEEKS AND I HAD NOT GOT ANY CONNECTION. THE ABHISHEK BACHAN AD IN TV IS SO MISLEADING BOASTING A TAT OF TRAVEL TIME. I AM SO FRUSTRATED AND I WANT MY CASH BACK WITHIN NEXT 2 DAYS SO THAT I CAN GO IN FOR TATA SKY.

                          PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE ANY AD BASED ON THESE TYPE OF FALSE PROMISES.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I got an airtel dth connection free with my sony lcd tv. i recharged for Rs 1000 and contacted airtel customer care for installation on 22nd of december and i was promised an installation on the 23 of december between 1 and 2 pm.i want to tell you nobody even called me and worse the number given to me by airtel of the installation engineer does not even belong to him (how ridiculous ....).i have made atleast made 20 callls to airtel to activate the connection but nothing has happened so far except promises of activation happening at the earliest. i request you to atleast refund my money in case you really cannot provide the connection.to make matters worse i cannot even call customer care all i get is an automated message saying send "call me" to some number.i have sent atleast 5 sms but nobody has bothered to call. my customer id is [protected]
                          i got my activation today at 12 30 pm.the clarity is awesome. a bit of delay from airtel ... everything else is fine

                            I am an Airtel Post paid customer for the last 5 years using a mobile number [protected]. i usually do not check the details of my Bill,but last month i happened to check it just casually! to my surprise Rs 500 plus taxes were charged for the GPRS , moreover when i called up 121 i came to know GPRS is activated since March 2009 till now. and i had been paying app.Rs 555 extra every month for about 6 months. in short i am being charged for the service which i neither requested nor used.
                            I tried to contact Airtel through 121,after pursuing the matter i was able to get Rs 1100 credit, but i want my full money back. kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                            AirTel — Refund Issue

                            Hello All,

                            This is Ramkumar from Chennai.I had placed a broadband connection last year on September month.Then after some 2 or 3 weeks a guy had come from airtel and collected 800 Rs and he said that they will provide connnecttion within 2 days.After 2 days when I asked the call center they said that due to technical feasibility they could not provide connection and I said to REFUND my amount. From that days onwards till now I didnt get my CHEQUE. YEs they gave one cheque which when I had deposited got bounced back.Again the same problem is continuing till now.ITS OVER 70 Days now.Are there any solutions for it. If in case I want to place a complaint in Consumer court what is the procedure. Please let me the process.

                            Still i have not get justice, No any call from Airtel, I have nothing talked with anybody from airtel, i had a call from airtel but as i was in traffic i have requested them to call me back after 10min, but till the date i didnt get any other call from airtel, which is very bad impression to me.

                            any how i want refund as i didnt get 3G service from airtel and paid RS.749

                            Once i get refund, i will change my network to Other network using portability facility, as i am feeling this is very poor service from the airtel.

                              To my surprise, you have arbitrarily changed the plan and given me 333 local
                              minutes and some 2G data and sms. So, I still could not make any calls even
                              after topping up my account with Rs. 333 as I was still in roaming in New
                              Delhi, neither could I use mobile internet. This has caused me a lot of mental
                              agony. I did not expect this, arbitrary changes without informing the customers
                              who have been using the plan for as long as four years, from Airtel.

                              I do not need 333 local minutes as my current rate plan gives me much more than
                              that and I independently recharge for 2G data.

                              I hereby request you to ASAP refund me my Rs. 333 or credit my main account
                              with Rs. 333 as it used to happen earlier.

                              My concern was not regarding the plan being changed without my consent, but
                              being changed without my knowledge after using it for several years.

                              Merely acknowledging my inconvenience does not help me at all and I am still
                              unable use my 2G data as my main account balance is still zero. You must
                              acknowledge that the inconvenience was caused by your arbitrary change and no
                              mistake of my own.

                              I do not require the benefits given by you under RC 333, as I have already
                              informed you that:
                              1. I get many more than 333 local minutes at my current call rate plan in Rs.
                              333
                              2. I do not need 666 MB data as I independently recharge my account with Rs. 98
                              and have sufficient balance in that account. (and unable to use either of that
                              because main account balance being zero rupees)
                              3. I do not need 999 sms as I rarely send text messages. (and again, I am
                              unable to send any text messages because main account balance being zero rupees)

                              So, after recharging my account with Rs. 333, I am still unable to use internet
                              in phone or send text, all thanks to Airtel!! So, once again, I kindly request
                              you to either refund my Rs. 333 or transfer the balance to my main account as
                              soon as possible and put an end to the inconvenience you have been causing for
                              last three days to your loyal customer of more than eight-nine years!!

                              my original plan is 449+300=749 with unlimited dsl usage and 300 call discount

                              january/feb 10 some airtel office bearer,name i could not memorise,allured me to some scheme by making me understand that the new scheme would be beneficial because of 500 call discount by taking 999 plan

                              feb bill received in march was exorbitant and after lodging compliant airtel made an adjustment of 300 to my satisfaction and assured to restore my plan to original of 749

                              to my dismay current bill payable on 6th april is again the misguided plan of 999 monthly charges and frustratingly the call discount is reduced to rs 150/-

                              now the customer executive ,parag nad abhishek, are not listening and neither ready to accept the condition of previous month resolution condition on the basis of which an adjustment of 300was made.
                              they are responding to my complaint of 1st april after 3 days on 4th april that too without proper knowledge of my grievance

                              in stead they are telling that the adjustment was for current bill an dno further solution is available and i have to pay whatever they have charged

                                Services of my Airtel IPTV-broadband connection no [protected] have been barred since 01 May. According to Airtel, this is because o[censored]npaid bill of my old number [protected]. But I never got a bill of this outstanding amount and after several calls also, Airtel is not able to provide me any proof that this bill was ever sent. Neither did I get any mail or sms that services to new number will be barred if old bill is not paid. I even offered to pay the bill immideately if they send it to me provided they resume my services but Airtel refused. This the level of incompetence of this 3rd class organization.

                                AirTel — the worse service provider

                                I have airtel prepaid connection [protected], they have barred my services because they require the documents. I don't know how many times they will take the document. If the document is misplace by them then why we are penalised by barrding our connections. the cust care is rubbish and hence i dont want more to use this connection. this service provider is a worst type i have come across. good for nothing only taking huge amt from people using it.

                                I know i wont receive any kind of help from this complaint board as they will not respond. they dont have the tendency to solve cust queries and run only for money. Really i am frustuated using this service and i had to pay a penalty for barding my services.


                                rubbish company and cust care executives are rubbish too.

                                AirTel — Worst services of Airtel

                                Previously the worst service was regular only with the Airtel customer service, recently even the service is worst even in a big city like Chennai and you are located within a KM from their towers. The network loss is atleast once every 15 minutes even if the phone is immobile (placed at the same place). The customer service sends a SMS that the issue will be attended to within a specified time (even though their policy is 24 hours the sms bears a time frame of about 2 - 3 days), but no one bothers to even call back to check the status and the complaints are considered trash.

                                They are very particular about getting their money from the customers, even if there are 5 - 6 complaints pending open from the customer for a long time. The maximum you can do is disconnect the line and move to other services (even bsnl seems to be a better service compared to airtel).
                                Instead use MNP option, move over to another mobile service provider keeping your number. Simple. AIRTEL will NOT improve. YOU improve.

                                      i am having mobile no.[protected](BSNL) and by mistake one RC of BSNL STV of Rs135/- wrongly served by SUVIDHHAA on 4.5.2013 at 12.30 approx on No. [protected] which is a airtel customer. in my opinion how can this RC can success and the amount of Rs.135/- should be revert in SUVIDHAA A/c .                                       Airtel Connection — Wrong information leads to wrong recharge

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I am an AIRTEL user. I have a SIM ([protected]) which was not in use for approx 4 month (don't remember exact date). To confirm about reactivation I went to airtel office in Jamshedpur (Bistupur, Jharkhand). As i enquired about my doubt the lady connected me to 121 services and hence we have conversation. In the process the lady on phone asked me about my detail and after verification she suggested me to recharge me the same number to re-activate. I did the same and again re-connected to 121 where this time a gentleman asked the for same detail (name of connection holder and address) and activated the GPRS service.



                                      NOTE:- None of them informed me that the NUMBER is re-allotted to some one else and I don't have further owner ship. This insufficient and wrong information leads to me not only financial loss of 363 rs but also make me mentally harass.



                                      I had lot of communication with 121 services and also with nodal officer through mail but was not fruitful. In fact no action has been taken by them (121) to REEMBURSE me or to solve the problem.



                                      Now I would like to request you for personal intervention into the matter and do needful for such irresponsible and consumer un-friendly act by 121 services.

                                      This Airtel dealer took 495 rupees from me and putted another validity card and I got a talk time of just 10 rupees.

                                      After making a complaint at the costomer care where the service is pathetic and the customer care tele takers don't even speak simple english, I must have explained the issue 15 times in my 12-13 calls made at the customer care center.

                                      At the end my problem did not got resolved and they sent me an SMS that your call is closed, since they had to maitain their SLA in pride.

                                      It left a very bad impression regarding the customer care services and customers suffering due to some ones else mistake.

                                      I am now planning to change to some other mobile vendor services as there is no point in being logical in front of deef ears.
                                      I took a pre-paid recharge card from Airtel recharge and my sim is already a life time validity card.

                                      Got call from airtel on 23 sep that recharge with 110 rs and get validity for 1 years and talktime for 98 rs.I recharge but didnot get any benefit yet and airtel disconnect my phone.i forwarded complain so many time in airtel but they people doesnot respond anything.

                                      I DIDI PREPAID RECHARGE THROUGH INTERNET BUT AFTER 24 HRS ALSO MY MOBILE DIDNOT RECEIVE ANY RECHARGE VALUE AND WHEN I CALL THE CENTER THEY SAY PLEASE TAKE THE STATEMENT AND GO TO ANY AIRTEL OUTLET THEY WILL TELL YOU WHY IT DIDNT GET RECHARGED. IF EVERY TIME WE HAVE TO GO TO AIRTEL OUTLET THEN WHY DONT YOU CLOSE UR CALL CENTERS.

                                      sir, myself manoj kumar ,have airtel prepaid connection [protected], recharged on 17/11/10 with amount of rupees 333, the message was sent that the recharge was succesful but my account is not showing the balance, i contacted to the customer care executives twice but there was not any positive response, airtel is all cheating to the customers

                                      I am Jegan, My Airtel Prapaid mobile no is [protected] Karnataka..I got a recharge as below from Tamil nadu..

                                      1.Rs.200- Transfer Id[protected].07.11
                                      2. Rs.125- Transfer Id[protected].08.11

                                      But checking the balance in my mobile its showing NILL BALANCE.. while checked with customer care I got a reply that these amount were added in 3G..

                                      In my mobile I don`t have any option for 3G and all..

                                      I just need to transfer these amout to the normal talk time mode.. I dont need these 3ggg/
