Its more than a month that airtel is holding my money and connection is also not provided mentioning technical issues.
I spoke to dozen of representatives and their managers but till date no date provided for returning the money collected.
When airtel knew in advance that they cant provide new connection why are they collecting bigger amount (In thousands) and avoid customer reaching them... Is airtel running their business with such cheap tricks?

Now that i waited enough, planning to file a consumer complaint asap.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    1) recharged rs. 600.00 on 29.01.18 vide transaction order no.[protected] and[protected]Rs.300.00 +rs. 300.00), through a airtel dealer and a/c balance was shown via sms as rs.583.80 against my id no. [protected].
    2) but now recharge amount shown in the account rs. 300.00 only. On inquiry in the customer care it is told rs. 300.00 has been refunded to the dealer, which was not informed to me at all.
    3) i have paid the amount to the dealer after getting the sms from airtel, why the rs. 300.00 has been refunded without informing me and this is the duty of airtel to credit my money in my account immediately and action should be taken against their dealer.

      Dear sir
      I was airtel postpaid customer from last 2 year now i am switch my number to airtel to airtel prepaid
      I submitted all my valid documents and on 9th february 3 o’clock my postpaid number was deactivated so i inserted prepaid number card was inactive so i called to customer care they told me it’s take 24 hour time
      On 9th feb they told file fir me 24 hours
      After 24 hour card was not active every day i call customer care they ask me same time now today on 12th feb at time of 9:00 o’clock pm they ask me again 24 hours now what can i do
      Give me suggestions or can i file fir for heresment

        Hi team,

        I have got new connection yesterday 11 feb 2018 and i been told i will get all hd and sd channels for free for first month. And the installation team told digital service will get activate after 2 hours.

        I don't see all the hd channels, from yesterday night i am calling to customer-care for getting this resolved each person saying it will get fixed by 4 hours max,

        But still nothing happen, today i am getting new answer saying my i will not get all hd.

        Please stop cheating like this to customer...

        I want all hd and sd to be enable without any further delay, else take the digital unit back and refund my money...

        Kindly escalate to higher mgmt on this issue,

        Airtel executive say one plan on phone, and airtel backed team activate some other plan which is totally different what was confirmed before booking the new connection

        Team it's 4 day's now my reported issue not fixed, you said with in 24 my problem will be fixed now it's more then 48 hours.

        Kindly correct the issue asap...

        Airtel has deducted my balance of rs 150/- without any information or services massage.
        Amt not credited after recharge of mobile nos last wk. Recharge was done by cash. Have been inconvenienced thus causing me a lot of anxiety.Kindly take action at the earliest as I am expecting important calls on these nos.Thanking Airtel for having registered my complaint. Hope to hear from you soon.

          In our Area airtel network coverage is Very and i log a complet last year August but no result still now and call receiving also very bad..
          We are more then 500 airtel connection in our layout have and in every nmbr face this problem..
          One tech person come in my location last year October and he say next 3 months problem will going to resolved. but not yet resolved.

          I called Airtel customer care but no update.

          I'm really unhappy with Airtel support...:(

            In our location airtel network coverage best.. But call receving very bad.. Mean than enybuddy call me than say "not a velid nmbr..". Before 10 days... Till today..
            No buddy solve no buddy care for this.
            We 6..7.. Have friends have airtel nmbr. And in every nmbr face this problem..
            One men come in my location and send location and say solve in 1 hour..
            But no..
            Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
            My airtel deposit is not return but you're airtel store is refund but not details given
            There is absolutely no network since the past 2 days on my 4G sim card while travelling throughout pune, please look into it as a matter o[censored]rgency
            This is to info to the Airtel that I didn't activate the namkeen pack services but automatically it got activated and my 35RS went from my main account
            I am not satisfied with your service.
            I am unable to make cal .
            It says either unable to reach or unable to contact
            Please rectify the concern as soon as possible or else I have to change my network.

              I have recharge 198 in my mobile no [protected].but your internet service is too embarassing and its too irritating . There are no internet speed for 3g service .so ican feel it now that i waste my money and also andhaar link with your sim card . If you dont take a necessary step either i have to port in other service .

                Balance debited from my payment bank account but balance not credited to my uco bank account of rupees 2950.71rs. (UPI transaction). They told transaction successful. Bank Account No [protected]. When i trying to connect with customer care they talk to me very badly, they have no manner how to talk with a customer, and they cut the connection.

                  I'm using a plan of Airtel broadband of Rs.1249/- plan. Inspite of paying the bills before due date regularly, Airtel is charging me with late payment charges ie. a bill amount of Rs. 1591/- which is irrelavant. Every time i'll get a call form these people saying your amount is due and everytime the amount will be more than Rs.3000/-. This month they called me and saying my total amount due is Rs. 3718/-, I dont know what is happening about the payments done. They are not keeping a proper track of the payments done by me. Some time when the bill was payed in Bangalore one and the amount was not at all updated in my account for months togeather and after months they will ask for the receipt. These people are cheating and harrasing me to pay above normal charges each and every time and that too double the thing what I have opted for.

                    This is to request for refund of excess amount paid to my bank account.

                    Please revert with intimation on refund status.

                    Besides the above, would like to complain about this whole mess. Please check the last three bills issued on 9th dec.2017, 9th jan 2018 and 9th feb 2018.

                    In both bills of dec and jan, extra internet charges were charged indiscriminately and even on complaining, no reviused bill was issued or any clarification given. Only a given amount is said to be waived off without any clarification. Please note that extra taxes charged also need to be reimburdsed.

                    I need clarified and revised bills for bills dated 9th december 2017 and 9th jan 2018

                    Even in bill dated 9th feb 2018, extra internet charges of rs 500 have been charged when i joined my family plan on 10th january 2018. I am told that rs 500 will be adjusted in the parent bill of my akshay jain-[protected].

                    I am not satisfied with the accounting here and need revised bills of the given months.

                    How easily you can dupe your customers of 500/-every month.. Many customers simply pay postpaid bills without checking bills in good faith. Everytime i complained, i was told that i will get a call back and a revised bill would be sent. Recieve no calls and no revised bills and top of that, the same mistake is repeated again and again.

                    A copy of this letter is being posted as a blog too.

                    Need a redressal of this harrasment immediately.
                    Otherwise too-sordid airtel service-no call is completed without making 3 to 4 calls. Call goes silent, very poor data connection. Have complained a number on times for the same too but no solution to the above.

                      On 2nd february, i tried to load an amount of rs.5050/- in my airtel payments bank account from my debit card (Transaction id[protected]. Though the amount was debited from my bank account, the same was yet to be credited to the payment bank account. I have also filed a complaint with airtel payments bank (Case:1515012) on the same day. They had assured that the money will be loaded into the account within 5 days however no action was taken yet to rectify the mistake. I had loaded the above amount to make an urgent transaction. Now i have no money left, as the amount was neither loaded into the airtel payments bank account nor returned to me. I have been put to severe hardship. Kindly intervene
                      i have credited rs 1229 rs for my gas bill payment on 7sept and still it has not been updated and have crossed the due date. please do revert back.

                        I am writing this complaint due the problems those I am facing for the last 7 days on my three numbers [protected], [protected], [protected] actually the issue is that the network is blinking and internet properly working and I am gettin the signal 2g even after the recharge of 3g on my numbers and when I tried to contact on customer care the no. Is not reachable and not responding. Why I am getting poor connetivity and low signals of internet. So please do the needful and solve as soon as possible and they all are prepaid numbers of airtel. I hope the complaint will get resolved soon.

The transaction reference number is IGACUVUXVT8 . I used SBI online banking. I am not getting the promised 1 GB data per day .Kindly do the needful.

                            I had made on line payment for airtel mobile bill through internet banking on dtd.10.01.18 but my mobile bill is still pending (Not paid) and amount is deducted from my bank account vide reference no. [protected] igacrwmon3 dtd. 10.01.18 and reference no. [protected] igacrwncu8 dtd. 10.01.18. And till date deducted amount is not reverted. So kindly request you to look into matter and do needful.

                                Broadband bill deducted twice in december - 29th dec, when i called up customer care i was told reversal will be done

                                Later in january i received bill and the amount was not adjusted & jan bill also deducted

                                No proper response from airtel, when i call they say reversal is done but nothing of that sort has happened & i even sent them my credit card statement which clearly had no reversals

                                  I took the new airtel broad band connection in bangalore cef no: 8096602, registered mobile number: [protected], and airtel policy was register and pay, then with 48 hrs connection will be made to your house. I made the payment on 08/feb/2018, but till today i have not received the connection to my house.
                                  Airtel is making false promises to there customers, saying with 48hrs to give the connection and take advance payment to block the customer, so that he cannot go to any other vendor.

                                  Request you please take some action against airtel india.

                                      I have credited rs 5950/- to my airtel wallet on 8/2/2018... As on 12/2/18 (After 48 hrs of transaction), i am getting the following message while trying to transfer money through airtel money app,

                                      "transaction could not be processed due to debit freeze on account"

                                      The app is also not allowing payment of the bill from airtel wallet due to freeze on account...

                                      Please help to solve the problem...

                                        I would like to highlight that i am facing a big time harassment from airtel regarding the wild & erratic bill generated for the month ending 22nd december 2017. The invoice raised was rs. 48, 244.78, which includes the international data roaming of more than rs.40, 000 for 1.5 days for my trip to maldives. Following are the points which would validate my position:

                                        1) firstly, i never asked any airtel executives to activate any international roaming facility on my phone number, so how was it activated? On discussions with the airtel executives, they have different and lame answers. Firstly, they say that your number had a provision for that and you initiated the same while you were on international roaming in july 2017. I would like to highlight here, i never requested for anything as such and i have never been on any international trip since last 3 years.

                                        2) secondly, they say that as soon as you dialed a number from maldives to india, we activated the international roaming facility. Here, i would like to highlight that couple of times before going to maldives, i tried calling from india to maldives but those calls never went through, as they say that international facility is not available on your phone. So, how could my call go through when i was in maldives, isn't it fishy? To this, i also have to say that my wife also uses airtel and when she tried making a call from maldives to india, she could not and her data was also not working. So how come, there are different treatments for the same network users.

                                        3) thirdly, when my credit limit is 3600, then why my services were not stopped? Airtel executives brought it in a caveat here saying that while you are on international trip, this credit limit is not in force, i mean how would a customer know about these hidden exceptions.

                                        4) fourthly, even if the ir facility got activated somehow, which i still consider it as a highly unlikely event, isn't it a duty of the vendor company to inform or warn its customers about it? The airtel executives are clearly lying here, saying that we have sent you warning messages. I have several messages in my inbox, but i would like to honestly point out here that i did not receive any message from airtel as soon as my ir data started working.

                                        5) fifthly, if somehow my mobile data was working, it would have got used for a couple of hours en route airport to hotel. Once i was in hotel premises, i was completely on hotel's wi-fi and not on mobile data. Then how can this be possible? On this, the airtel customer care says that your wi-fi must be weak so automatically, the mobile data would have got used. Is this a way to explain the bill, seriously.

                                        6) i only came to know that airtel is charging me for mobile internet, when i got the first message from airtel on 2nd dec regarding internet usage of rs 787. At that time, i believed that that it may have been an error as it is not possible since i was using the wi-fi, anyway to avoid any further problems, i turned off my mobile data. Then the next day, at 6.20 am, i received another message from airtel, that you have used data worth rs 5, 129 and as a precaution we will disable your service. I was shocked to see a bill of 5, 129 since i could not believe how airtel is charging me when i am on wi-fi and my mobile data being switched off. At 10:48 am, i again received a message from airtel that your international data roaming services charge is 5, 129 and your internet service will be blocked temporarily. At 11:50 am, i received another message from airtel that your services have been barred. I was somewhat relaxed that there be a end to it to this undue and invalid charges. All the screenshots of those messages have been attached. But to wildest surprise, when my bill was generated i was asked to pay close to rs. 50, 000. My question is once my data services were barred, how the bill can shot up to close to 50, 000? Airtel executives say that the data may not have been real-time. On the contrary, they say that there is no human intervention involved and everything is software based. Then my question is, if the process is so dynamic then how can the information you send to customers be lagged.

                                        I have read several posts on facebook and twitter related to the same problems witnessed by other customers and they have been harassed in a similar manner. Here, i would like to say, that i cannot accept the wrong charges indicted on me by airtel which is by all means wrong. Also all the above communication suggest that big harassment is being done on me for last 30 days or more.
