Airtel - horrible service. No response and i am running pillar to post to get my sim activated.
Indeed airtel's services are so bad and infact the ever worst responses.
I went to the airtel store to link aadhar.
First they told me since i am in ahmedabad and my number is from mumbai circle i have to change the circle to gujarat to enable aadhar linking.
I wonder why they just can't ink aadhar to an existing old customer. Logic behind mnp within the same service provider sounds very absurd.
Accordingly i was given the forms which were signed by me, aadhar copy was provided and the airtel store guy provied me a new sim card. Guys in the store told that once your mobile says "no sevice", replace the sim with the new one provided by us and the services will be on. Accordingly my services went off after 4 days of this activity and even after 48 hours of going off, inspite of contacting, 121, physically visiting their store etc., services are not yet resumed and the people in the airtel store have stopped taking my call. 121 says they are helplesess! This is the service of a major telco of the nation. This is for an existing customer who was running active!!!
After this incident i have been hearing from few of my friends they too suffered and eventually had to change their service provider. My email id [protected]@yahoo.com & alternative contact number [protected]/ [protected]

    I purchased an international roaming package for inr 2499 for singapore on 12-dec-2017, valid for 30 days, unlimited incoming, 5 gb data, 100 sms/day, 500 min locals calls and calls to india. It worked till yesterday and suddenly no calls are going through. But i am continuing to receive incoming calls. I have been checking the usage through a call metering app and i haven't cross 250 min mark yet. Pls help urgently.

      I have a simple request - shifting of my fixed line and broadband. It has taken one month!
      1. I make a request.
      2. The request goes to customer care.
      3. The customer care calls back and then a technician calls to fix up a time to fix the line. Till here the process works.
      4. But after that the technician does not turn up on the time assured that he will come.
      5. Since the request has not been attended to, the request goes on hold, and then automatically gets cancelled!!
      And this cycle has repeated three times with me!! And after all this it gets repeated again with me today!! The technician adsured me he will visit today abd doesnt turn up. When i call 121, i escalate this to the floor manager and all this poor guy aman can parrot is the useless process.
      All in all very frustrating! The customer seems to be the least important in all this.

        I was given a call on 18th october, 2017 and they told me abt a package where as a promotion gift they offered an i phone. I asked how come u guys r offering an i phone at 11200 package along with 4nights 3 days holiday. They said its a promotional offer. They said you can check it on our website also anf this promotional offer is available there too. I checked. Yes it was available. Payment was supposed to be done on their link available on the website itself like it happens with other travel websites also. I made a payment and i was asked to confirm the address and color of i phone to be delivered within 3-5 working days. Nevertheless to mention i phone never came. I called them and a very mannerless lady of very low esteem (As was evident from the way she talked) took the call and said it was a promotional offer where this phone will b sent only i[censored] refer this plan and get payments done from 20 other customers. Such a shameless liar lady. Very modestly i asked her to transfer a call to a male staff so that i don't degrade myself by even shouting at a lady, though her moral grounds were deeply rottened and i shudnt have refrained myself from letting her know how cheap she is. Yet she did not transferred the call and asked me to file a complain against her in police and she knows that police won't do anything. Their website goes functional and non functional every week. Like right now it does not exist. They'll go functional again in a few days m sure. I lodged a complaint in cyber cell but they too did not responded either. No surprises..!! As expected out of police. Be it the ones in police chowkies or the ones sitting infront of the computer screens. None of them bother to even set auto replies on ur emails. Guys this is an organized online fraud they are carrying. The moment u get a call from these # of club9holidays ask them to just * off. They have no clue how it feels when one's hard earned money is gone. I take this money as charity done. But i wish karma hits them back

        Subject line is wrong. It's not airtel-11200 package fraud. It's Club9Holidays-11200 package fraud. I wonder how this airtel appears here.

          Dear sir/madam
          Recently, i visited an airtel simcard retailer for getting my sim card connected with my aadhar number. But he asked me for rs.30/-. I told him that him that it is a free of cost service then he retorted that for that you have to go to airtel store where it will take two hours to get the process done. I very well know that for prepaid customers, retailers can do the linking. Please look into the matter. There people are doing open loot in broad daylight and tarnishing the brand name of airtel whose i am a proud customer.

            Hi, i have been using the postpaid connections since years and every time the subscriptions pack got renewed by its own or at least i receive messages for ending of subscription. I went to international roaming with 10 days of pack activated and was advised to de-active the pack otherwise it gets renewed by its own. After i came back to india, the bill generated is of amount 8.3 lakh which does not make any sense to me as my credit limit is of amount 1.5 k and i never receive any message that my subscription was stopped. Please help me to resolve this issue and clear the bill with including the subscription for 26 days

            Sorry, I forgot to mention one point here is actually I requested for 30 days IR pack but I am not sure due to some miscommunication or whatever be the reason only 10 days pack was activated which I realised after coming back to India. I was in show hurry that I have not noticed any thing even the pack was activated or not. Guys, please help me out asap. This has to be resolved as soon as possible as it's totally not my fault and considering my credit limit this should never be the amount that airtel should billed to me.
            Also... my subscription is active till now and I have never request for unsubscribe my international roaming pack... Please help to apply the roaming pack till my international visit

              Sir i ported my sim from vodafone to airtel to get better services. But i think i made a mistake. First of all i can't recharge my airtel number from online e-wallets services (Including airtel payment app).
              So i called airtel customar care sevral times and they said its a temporary issue and will be resolved within 24 hrs but its still 7-8 days and i still can't recharge, so again i called customar care and this time they said i have to recharge my number through local retailer. Sir then what's point of making digital india if i can't rechange my phone from internet.
              So please help me to solve this problem or please provide me porting number so i can go back to vodafone if they are unable to solve that.
              I can't do it manually because it needs at-least 90 days to port.

                I switched my reliance number to airtel one & half months ago. I submit all the documents what is needed in the process. But still my number is not working. Always it shows network error. My sim still not working. I asked customer care of airtel also. They convince me as they will resolve the problem. But still nothing and at last i need to message here.

                      I am dhananjay, airtel postpaid customer from last 2 years but from last 6 months me and my 2 friends facing network problem at my home at 2, mhada colony, chunabhatti, sion, mumbai, maharashtra 400024, india.
                      The airtel network coverage shows actual good network in network coverage report but actually no network or very very poor network in this area. (See report attached).
                      I think airtel do fraud with customers.

                        Complaint on huge bill amount of airtel postpaid connection,

                        As i was using the airtel postpaid connection since last 12 years, my number was [protected], and all was working well, no due, no complaint, however in december 2017, they have raised my bill amount to 830565.49, without any intimation to me that your bill has been exceeded at your credit limit, as my phone bill credit limit was 25000/-,
                        So here my concern is if my phone credit limit was set to 25000/- then how did they allowed to increase the amount to 830565.49, and why didn't they informed or message to me that your credit limit has been exceeded,
                        Then why i got the message that your bill has been reached at 830565.49/- then i called to customer care and asked me why my bill has been increased so much, & why didn't u not inform me, then they didn't reply on it,
                        Adding to the incident i mailed the concern department (Appellate. [protected]@in. Airtel.com) (Nodal. [protected]@in. Airtel.com) ([protected]@in. Airtel.com) on[protected]. But the response in all the loops what i got was there is no outstanding in the bill and you don’t have to pay for the same, later again when i faced the same issues so this time the bill showed me a amount of 827593.21. So again i sent a mail and there they responded me the they are still working for the same and it will get resolved by 72 hours its been more then 10 days but i have not got a single response.
                        Hence i request to you to sort out this issue.

                        I have all the proofs. And also attaching the snap shots

                        This amount is very very big and unimaginable it is very shocking and if something happen to my mental or physical condition airtel will be responsible for that.

The custmor care advised me to go nearest airtel office. I visited local airtel office at baddi, distt. Solan (Hp) but they are not ready to help me. They told me that my no. Was closed and returned to idea company. The no. Was closed without any reason. Also no. Was in use. Please help

                            I am using airtel postpaid no from last 9 years and from last one year i am facing a lot of problem regarding data and voice many times i have register the complaint for same but your team always close the complaint by remarks “ complaint resolved after visiting the technical team” but unfortunately no one has visited the site or no one contact me after resolving the issue.in june (It may be july) i have upgrade the plan as suggested your airtel meerut (Near begum bridge office) as a family plan for using 3g and 4g data but since upgradation the plan i have not used the data (3g, 4g) some time i have used your basic speed (Less than 2g). I have register the complaint for same last three month i have received reply that we have upgrading the speed for your area and problem will resolve after some time. I am paying full plan payment since the plan has changed by your team and i am using only basic plan.
                            I have again contact your 121 today but today i have received same reply by your executive i ask to him please transfer my call to your senior then he has transfer my call to mr. Hervinder but unfortunately i have received another reply that your mobile no having one booster pack for data from apr 17 and now booster has expired and today we remove the booster. Then today i told him that who has fault (Me or airtel) but he has no simple revert then i have ask to transfer this call to another senior person then he transfer my call to mr prakash ad mr prakash revert same problem and ask me to that i have removed the booster and problem will resolve within 30 minutes then i again ask who has fault (Me or airtel) and he revert yes it is airtel.

                            Now for this problem i have no faulty only fault from airtel.

                            Now has prove that these type of fault has created by airtel himself. (It is 420 only with customers). So returned my all paid amount (Both postpaid connections) immediately so that i can port my connection to other service providers.

                            Can you tell me why airtel is playing game with me or customer. If airtel is not giving proper data speed then why airtel is in market.

                            If anyone stay in market then everyone prove himself.

                              My isp (Airtel) has not been providing a satisfactory customer service ever since november 2016. The frequency of disconnection in both landline and broadband service has been too high for the past year. I have to register a complaint almost every month for problems in connection or the line going totally dead. Though initially they resolve the problem within 3 days of filing a complaint regarding the same to their customer care, there is again another issue cropping up within the next three weeks. I have filed about 9-10 complaints so far with 2-3 escalations regarding this and it is really annoying on their part to not heed my complaints properly even though i pay my monthly bills on time for the past three years without any dues.

                              I have even checked my lines, cable and modem from my end to make sure this is something not caused from my end. These issues seem to be caused from my isp's end 100 % of the time. The broadband speeds are also not consistent and is not on par with the speeds that they advertise to the public. I feel like these connectivity issues indirectly throttle my monthly data transfer speeds.

                              I kindly request the authorities concerned to take note of this issue and address this grievance as soon as possible and prevent the isp (Airtel telecommunications) from falsely advertising to public when they can't even guarantee minimum a year of problem free service from their part.

                              For the personal annoyance caused (I. E, unable to rely on stable internet & landline connection for both my work and emergency purposes), i request my isp to provide a 100 % refund on my monthly bills at least for the past 8 months though i am their "most valued" (As quoted by their customer service executive on call) customer for over 2 years.

                                I am user of airtel service for more than 8 years, even i started my first phone with having airtel sim. Today i got a call from [protected] at 11:11 am. Date[protected]. He was offering me some hello tune service, when i told him that i already been denied to taking that service earlier twice. That person become very rude to me as i owe him some money. He ordered me to have dnd service in my number. When i asked him that he must have some records that i already denied that service. He told me he does not have any record and again ordered me to have dnd service and cut the phone.
                                The attitude of that person was very wrong. It was like an insulting behaviour. I was a loyal customer to airtel, i think i should start finding some other options also.

                                  Ported from vodafone to airtel

                                  Vodafone services are deactivated but airtel services are still in pending mode.

                                  But the airtel sim is not yet activated even after 24 hours now.

                                  The customer care no [protected] is always give time but nothing is happening. Called them several time all that say is "you will have to wait they can not do anything from there end"

                                  Kindly do the needful to activate the sim immediately.

                                    I have recharged my airtel digital tv account for the past two months and have received my confirmation message as well. But the tv still shows error code 6 even after recharging for 2 times. Thus i had to call the customer service and the ladies who pick the calls speak utter unrelated stuffs like technical error etc. My question is how can my tv alone have a technical error for 60 days? I just switched to airtel very recently but the service is as bad as my old dth provider. I hope

                                      I am such a very disappoint with airtel service, i am living in out of country but still i keep on my airtel number because of some personal contact and work. And airtel charged my talktime money without inform me, they activate my international roaming, glamourzone service & many more them self i didn't request for any service. That glamourzone service is re-activate every 7 days automatically. I am going to upset for this service.
                                      It's my humble request to airtel or their team please return my deducted talktime money on my mobile number and please deactivate these service like international roaming, glamourzone service and all unusable for me.

                                        I come to india from abroad every year to visit my family. This year i purchased over rs150 worth coupons from airtel and i have made only one phone call, and arranged to have two uber pickups. But airtel deducted all the money from my account. I have a balance of 1.67! Airtel contacted me and gave me a list of data usage etc, which does not make sense as no one could have spent all the data with one short in-city phone call or by arranging two uber pickups.
                                        This is unprofessional and extortionist. I will never use airtel and neither will my family and friends. I am aware things in india are not above board, but this kind of theft is a new kind of a low.

                                        I feel vindicated here as i see that i am not the only person to file a complaint about airtel's business policies and scams. If we all boycott airtel that should teach them a lesson and perhaps drive them out of business and make room for more ethical competition and new businesses.
