Its been a month i have raised request for broadband connection with airtel and everytime an associate calls me stating feasibility check will be done and they will get back to me. It happened for almost 10 days and then one executive was sent to collect documents and money after confirming connection is available in my locality. I was informed to get connection in 4 days and later when i checked with airtel customer care, they said again they are checking for feasibility check. This went on and on and on and at last i was informed there is no feasibility in my area. This was told after 1 month after me chasing up with appalate team after fed up with customer care. Even appalate team are worst, whenever i drop a mail, they pick it up freshly without referring my previous history and just give me same answers. These people just frustrate customers without bothering about
Anything.

Now to check refund, they asked me to share bank details. I have shared it once and still following up with them. After dropping multiple mails, again they are asking me to share the bank details with same mail format as previously. Every day new executive and he will treat my request from scratch. So what the point in having a customer care and an highest point of escalation, which doesnt even track an history of a request

I need refund and if possible i would need a connection as i am really of need of it.

Hey Onkar, what you described seems to be a common mismanagement from Airtel guys. A similar thing had happened with me in the past. I had used the Airtel app for a plan activation, but after purchasing it I was subscribed with a different plan. I called the customer care service, they took some time to process my request but it was sorted out eventually. I recommend using a better management app for your mobile recharges/plan selection. I am currently using Bill Bachao, and prior to that I was using FreeCharge. More than FreeCharge, I find it easier using the Bill Bachao app because it instantly shows me my best plans based on my data/phone usage from the last month. It also shows me a break-up of my usage details, for calls and data.get this app here -http://bit.ly/ormbb
Hi Shweta, it’s time to switch to better options. Consider doing a little research on reliable mobile recharge portals that suit your needs. I did the same and came across this app called Bill Bachao. It also has a web version, and you can use either of the two as per your convenience. Bill Bachao gives you the option of saving recharge plans and tracking the projected duration of your plan. It helps you test data transfer speed and signal strength. The best feature of Bill Bachao is that it enables you to track your mobile data consumption and check it against your balance. Bill Bachao’s customer care is prompt, and be assured that, in the event of any issue, your request will be processed within 24 hours. I had once recharged my phone, and the amount was deducted from my bank account. However, this transaction did not reflect in my record of recharges.     I have lodged a complaint 10 days ago in this regard on number 198 and they assured that my problem will be shot out within four days. The complaint no is 69181977.
    I am working with press times of india as a manger and this number is allotted under corporate scheme.
    I am really fed up with my phone for the last three months. You are requested to solve my problem or change the portability of my phone.

      Ir mere month me 7-8 activation hote hai. But distributer kehta hai ki humare dwara ki hue frc 78 ke sim bhecho jo hume 60rs ke deta hai. Agar maine is bare mai kuch kha to unhone bola jha chahe complain kar do.
      Mere jis area mai shop hai wha par net ki frc wale sim kam sell hote hai month me only 1-2 sim sell hote hai. Agar me unse 78 ki frc ke sim le leta hu to woh exire ho jate hai. Aap mere hel kar dijiye kyoki mere area ka jo distributer hai weh khatauli (Muzaffarnagar) ka hai aur uska jo office hai weh khatauli me na ho kar bhood village me hai jha par jane me hum sb retailer ko bahut dikkat hoti hai aap kripya karke humare area ka distributer change kara dijiye.

        My father V.Mohanasundaram has been using Airtel No. ([protected]) since last 10 years. This number has been linked to all my bank accounts and other important services. Recently this no. has been out of service without any prior notication. Initially I though that this may be due to SIM damage, since there no SMS of disconnection. Later, I went to Airtel centre in Perambur, Chennai to get a duplicate SIM. There, I was informed that this number is disconnected and sent for sale with new SIM. Now I cannot get this SIM again. I am deeply surprised by hearing this. I never expected Airtel to do such kind of poor service to its loyal customers. Now I had to go after each bank and other services to register a new number. All my friends and relatives are having this contact.

        I expect some response from airtel representatives after seeing this complaint. If there is no positive response, I would not recommend Airtel service to my friends and relatives. I will also change my family numbers to other service providers.

          Hi team

          I have raised many a complaints with airtel customer care for this issue. They are just closing the problem ticket without any resolution. I stay on the 21st floor of one of the most porsche areas of indirapuram ghaziabad. Airtel boasts of network, that too 4g connectivity in the remotest corners of india but i dont get any signal at my 21st floor apartment irrespective of the fact whether i am inside or standing in the open lift lobby. My postpaid airtel number is [protected] and my mother is also facing the same problemwith her airtel connection [protected].

          P. S. If i am not able to make or take calls then i will not pay a single paisa.

            Without my knowledge my sim replacement was done at airtel outlet on 30th april, x persona approached one of the airtel outlet submitted my photo copy my id and took my sim on 30th april (Saturday) @ hyderabad and 1st may is sunday and i took new sim on 2nd may (Monday) @ vishakhapatnam after, meanwhile x person the sim misused and filled and filed ftr in police station.

            I same regards i sent mail to nodal team on 15th may till now i did not received any response

            Pls give some evidence who took the my sim, so that same it can submitted in court to defend my self

                [protected] - i bought this airtel postpaid number in delhi and i have been using it for a couple of months until i got back to my hometown (Chennai). Please note that i did not give any nominee phone number while i signed up my form because i did not have any address in delhi but since i was working for hike ltd the provider told me that wouldn't be a problem so they gathered my id proofs (Which is in my chennai's address) and i got my sim activated and everything was fine until i got back to my hometown chennai. I started losing signal on my phone frequently and kept on complaining about it but airtel did not respond properly. And eventually my sim had gone to 'no service' mode. And i was busy launching my own firm so i thought if someone from airtel shows up at my doorstep then i can pay the bill. But after a month i started using my brother's phone number for the time being. And one day the contacts that i have called from my delhi sim ([protected]), they started getting calls and airtel support people (Neha) lied to them that i have gave their number as nominee and tried to reach me to my new number instead of showing at up my door step. I started receiving msgs from my contacts (Around 10 of them) through my facebook saying they received the same call saying i gave their numbers as nominee. Finally they even called my mother and got the temporary number (Not registered under my name). They got that number and reached me. I asked them who the hell gave them authorization to access my call logs and that's all. They couldn't not answer about it at all and ms. Neha confessed that she accessed my call logs and apologised for it. I asked her to transfer the call to her manager and that guy (Forgot his name) promised me that i don't have to pay any bills or no one from airtel would call me until he investigates this issue and get back to me within a day. And its been 1 month since he said that and i get calls everyday from their support team asking me to pay the bill. I explain each of those people everyday for an hour and everyone would say 'we'll get back to you' and then they'll disappear and next person would call. This kept on happening and i lost patience and i complained via twitter. And this genius mr. Shashanth ([protected]) called me and listened to the whole story again and i asked him for his name n phone number. And he said no one will call me until he investigates this issue and its been a week and again i started receiving calls from airtel then i tried to reach mr. Shashanth and that punk is ignoring my calls & i have been trying to reach him for the past 4 days. They invaded their customer's privacy by accessing my call logs and they can't even give a proper explanation but they have the gut to ask me to pay the bill and its my job to explain these everyday?

                I'm pressing charges against this people if i receive one more call.

                  Poor service provided by airtel broadband Internet connection as I have an airtel broadband Internet connection which is not working from more than 48 hours as well as I have called at 121 atleast 20 times nobody has visited the complaint
                  Airtel has very poor service as the customer care 121 told that the engineer will visit in 24 hours still after 50 hours no engineer visit to attend the complaint they told that in 24 hours they have 8 hours of working so the complaint will be done in 24 hours ie 8*3 = 24 hours

                    The airtel telecom company that claim to have the widest network through advertisement. They advertise showing that they have network in deserts and forest areas but the truth is they have the worse network and it does not have networks in villages and cities too. I have a airtel sim and its been a rough journey throughout with this sim.. Terrible network issues, poor customer service and not worthy for the money we spend.. I have already spend double the amount thats required to get a sim and still there's no response or resolution to the problem...

                        --I escalated the issue as "without providing the connection, why should i receive a mail like this on 5th may
                        --I want to get back my amount or provide the connection with todays date the connection start date as they tortured me a lot
                        --I sit ideally in my home on weekends (121 guys told me connection will be provided today)
                        --No one called me for shifting and i raised request for cancellation of the connection

                        Hey, I remember facing a similar problem. My money was debited from my savings account but no money reflected on my mobile account. I was using the freeCharge app. I had to reach out to the Vodafone customer care and their responses were useless. They kept asking me to wait for the transaction to reflect, and finally after a couple of days, after constantly chasing these guys, I got my money. I don’t exactly know where the problem lied, but when I started hearing similar complaints from my friends/colleagues I tried switching to a different app just for trial. I am now using Bill Bachao app. A decent app that hasn’t let me down, yet. Other than finding them quite reliable with transactions, I find their Usage Details – break-up of calls, sms, and data – report quite good.                         This is a common issue with mobile recharge portals and even service provider websites. While your payment is being redirected over the payment gateway, the communication link between the recharge site (in your case, Airtel) and the bank snaps. Therefore, there is no proof of recharge, even though the amount is deducted from your bank account. I prefer to use Bill Bachao for topping up my card. I had faced a similar issue earlier, and I immediately contacted Bill Bachao's customer care team via email with all the relevant details, such as mobile number, operator name, recharge value, and Transaction ID. I was assured that the amount would be credited back to my account within 7 working days. This indeed happened.                           I have recharged last saturday a 10 gb 3g recharge validity till 10 june. And i have 2 broadband of airtel too in my office and my home so mobile data i use very less yesterday on[protected] till 9 pm i have 9.36 gb 3g balance in my mobile but when i turned on net at 10:30 pm my 3g balance got deduct and its showing 0 balance and they deduct my main a/c balance for net use, i tried to call their executive he transfered to senior they sayin i have used 10 gb data they blaiming that i have used all data but the truth is i havent use i have 9.36 gb and now no one is trying to listen me and they said that i have used.                               They are given fake promises & making fool to customer, after making payment they are not response even though airtel discontinued my outgoing i am using my number since last 2 yr onwards but never getting such kind of problem but as on date they are making lots of protocol showing, which need to be required right to information about services i have mail confirmation & conversation in my records even call records also to prove what they are saying.

                                  I have 4 airtel numbers, and i have opted my plan family. I have ported 3 numbers from idea9 [protected], [protected], [protected]) and attached to parent number [protected].
                                  And i have 10 gb 4g data plan which is shared on all numbers, 4g only work pn parent number [protected], and only 3g work on [protected] and [protected], no internet on [protected] my business is affected a lot.
                                  I have complained number of times on 121 and 198 but nothing is done i am helpless.

                                    I had prepaid registered airtel mobile number with official address id initially in delhi, later on i was told to migrate the prepaid to postpaid corporate plan by our officer and subsequently it is registered accordingly with official id and but bill address on the residential address with out residential id. Hence i had e-mailed airtel to update my address according to my proof of id and address. But it is delaying and denying by airtel...

I complained about it at your help line number 121 they have given the complaint registration number c4gda[protected] dated 16 may 2016.
