I, Anirban Patra, a user a Alliance Broadband..My Id- anirbanp_drm It is a prepaid connection.But out of every 30 days I can use the internet connection only for 15 to 20 days.When I asked them to return my money they refused it. This is going on month after month and they do not eager to improve their service.. So I want to complain against this internet sevice provider.

    Hello sir, On 30th March 2015, due to heavy rainfall in Kolkata, my internet connection was unavailable. I can understand that there may be some technical issues that can occur due to sudden weather change and rain. I had lodge a complain regarding this on 31st March 2015 and according to them, the problem had occured from the local supplier. They said that the connection problem will get resolve on the very next morning. I waited for their call and when I left for after 1pm, they called me asking about the issue. I make them understand and they said that they have sent their technical guy to look after it. The entire day went and without any solution. I made more than 15 phone calls, visited the local service provider but all my efforts were in vain.     The service provided by the advisor shaikat dutta it was horrible even when i asked him to transfer the call to supervisor he denied to me and said there is no one. Then why alliance is giving 24*7 service if there are no supervisor available at night..

    Horrible service what they said to just earn money.. I was correct to leave alliance but when they increase the speed i thought to join back.. But it was just a fraud useless service and customer service..

      Frequent disruption of Service for my Internet Link due to unknown reason

      Hi Team, This has been observed that in last one week frequent disconnection / unavailability has been occurred for 15mins to 3hrs also per instance where Internet services are down. What is the issue? Why such high no of outage taking place?During Office hours without any intimation Internet is down, this kind of availability not expected!!!       I AM RESIDENT OF MOTIJHEEL AVENUE, I HAVE REQUESTED FOR A NEW NET CONNECTION ON DEC 2014 BUT NO CONNECTION HAVE BEEN INSTALLED TILL TODAY, I CALLED 1000 TIMES FOR MY CONNECTIONS, BUT THEY ALWAYS TELLS NO WIRE CAME, ONCE THEY CALLED ME FOR FORM FILL UP, I WENT THERE FOR THE FORMALITIES AND SUDDENLY THEY TOLD ME NO FORM SORRY, OUR GUY WILL GO TO YOUR RESIDENT AND DO THE NEED FULL BUT STILL NOW NO ONE CAME AND WHENEVER I CALLED THEM, THEY USED TO TELL ME NO WIRE.         sir, i beg to state you that our local cable operator Mr.Sujit Debnath has been demanded a higher installation charge Rs.6000.i had asked him many time but he refused me again & again unfortunately.where beside zone operator have been demanded only Rs.2000.i mailed this company's official site [protected]@alliancekolkata.com but they could not take any stern step against this dishonest operator.my name is sourav sarkar and my address;VILL+P.O-fatepur, P.S-haringhata, DIST-nadia.please take necessary step.

          I have been using Alliance Broadband for almost 2 years now and thought should share my feedback. The speeds are decent if your connection is working, but expect a minimum of 50 disconnects every week ranging from 15 minutes to 3 hours. I am now tired raising this to my Cable Service provider as well as to Alliance. For now I do not have any other option, but to live with this.

            Hi, our customer id is "gauravk_acn". We have taken the unlimited plan for the net, we use to pay 1180 per month (including service tax) for it. But, our net is not working properly. For this, in this month, we have made so many complaints and for each and every complain it is taking 2-3 days to resolve the issue and when issue is getting resolve, it is only working properly for few hours. Again we have to make the complain and again it is taking 2-3 days to resolve the issue. So, we are really frustrated with your service, we are paying for availing the Internet facility smoothly, not for headache. Our Address is - C/o Gautam Das, A1, 1stFloor, B-block, Meenaganga Apartment, near Kestopur bazar, kolkata 700102. Also, I have very bad experience with your representative who came for resolving the issue, I don't know his name. So, its kind request, please let us know if you can't provide the proper and better service, so that we can stop using alliance broadband.

              I am from Behala, Kolkata, From the December, 2014 there is too much fluctuate in ping. Webpage is loading too slow. Sometimes browsers are showing webpage not available. Always high ping in online games, before 2 months the ping was around 70-80, but now the ping is above 200 all the time, sometimes the ping is going to above 1000 and more. I cant play online games and properly due to this high ping. Kindly try to solve this problem as soon as possible.

                i am suprit reja.vill+p.o- naisarai, p.s- arambagh, pin- 712602, dist- hooghly..though i paid my connection fees rs.3500 dated on 16/12/2014 to agent, pirbaba cable network(konar building, arambagh, gourhatimore) since 23/01/2015 i have no connection from your service provider. your agent says that they have not sifficint service cable.. so i request you sir, you take some necessary steps thatway my connection is open as soon as possible...

                  Hello, I am using Alliance since 2005 and since 3 days I am facing terrible high ping problems. Whenever I am trying to play a game on EU servers, I am getting high ping. I use my internet only for gaming. I have two connections, paying Rs 6000 a month. I never had to complain about ping but since 3 days I am getting huge problems but PMPL is giving better ping than Alliance now. I am getting high ping of more than 300 ms in all servers now which is completely unplayable. Ping should be within 190ms for us to be able to play but since 3 days its not. It is happening on both connections that I am using . My usernames are guddu246_jk and guddu149_jk . For example : this ping is on my friend's PMPL connection : http://prntscr.com/5lr8wv And this is the same ping on same IP and on my connection : http://prntscr.com/5lr973 So, Alliance is giving higher pings, which is impossible for me to play but my friend can play the game very nicely but I am unable too. This is the other server I am having problem : 94.250.218.39 http://prntscr.com/5lr9ra Another server I am having problem : 94.250.195.144 http://prntscr.com/5lra02 It does not matter which server I try, I am getting high pings in EVERY server since three days. It didnt happen before . I am using Alliance since 2005 and I have been playing all these years, never faced problem. I am using two connections and paying 6k per month and I think that my amount is getting wasted, whereas my friends on PMPL can play the game very nicely. So, I urge you to kindly sort out the problem and fix it so that I can enjoy and continue using Alliance. Thank you.

                    I am using Alliance(Prime Plan) from last 1 year and from last month facing ping fluctuation problem while playing online multi-player games.I used to have ping between 45-50 and now i am getting 450 sometime 680 ping fluctuate all the time. Hope u would look into the matter and do the needful Waiting for a reply Thank you

                      For the past 2 days I'm facing a problem with high ping while playing online multiplayer games! Regularly I used to have ping between 160-190...Now it has jumped over 300+ which is causing a great lag resulting in getting kicked out for high ping from the server everytime! Hope u would look into the matter and solve the needful! Waiting for a reply! Thank you!

                        It seems that the toll free customer service number is just for show. Whenever somebody calls in that number continuously for a month, the call would be received 1 out of 20 times. Moreover, when you complain about the service, they give you a docket number and just hang up. They do not have the courtesy of telling the customers in what to do next and what to do with the docket number. I'am a user who is on a high tariff, am told that I should receive 2mb throughout the day and 8mb between 1am - 9am which is a joke. On testing the broadband speed what I get is shocking doesn't matter what time it is, be it 3pm or 3am the speed reflects 0.98mb. On complaining the so called trained customer service representatives bluntly just lie, "sorry sir, the speed you are suppose to get is 2mb divided by 8, its a rule all across bengal". I have no clue where this company is heading to. I work in the press and pretty soon if this internet connection does affect my work to a certain extent (which it has done for a while and am waiting for the right time till it mends its ways), I would personally ensure that the company becomes history, well if not permanently but for a good period of time.                           I Got My Allience Broadband (In Our Zone It Is In Collaboration With Nalateshweri Satilite Centre) On 1st Of September. At First It Was All Good, But From Last Few Days It Is Sometimes Connecting And Sometimes It Is Not Connecting. I Consulted With The Local People At [protected] Number Regarding This But All Together The Response Was Disaster, They Even Ignored My Calls. I Feel If There Is Any There Is Any Technical Issue To Be Solved As A Customer I Have The Legal Right To Know About The Problem As Well As The Time Required To Fix It. When I Ask Them To Stop My Connection And Refund The Security Deposit Of Rs. 1500/- They Are Even Not Willing To Do So. My Questation Is That If After Every 2-3 Months We Need To Change Service Provider And We Won’t Get Our Security Deposit Refunded Then Is There Any Customer Security? If They Even Solve My Issue At Current Time What Will Happen In Future When I Need Some Technical Support? Should I Have To Be Harassed Again And Again? I Know Some Prove Is Required To Validate The Complaint But What Prove Can I Submit When There Is Poor Customer Service? I Am Just Including My Last Recharge Invoice To Prove That I Am Customer Of The Particular Service Provider.

                            My name is Kalyan, I have bought your internet connection 1 month ago. Due my personal problem I have sifted my new room.I just want to transfer this connection in my new room.The operator asking me new installation charge for new connection.I have already made a new renewal for this month.I just want to use the above IP.                               My user id is mujib_ab, I have a super executive package and download speed should be 1.5Mbps, I am getting 0.67Mbps, which is much less than which I should get. This is happening almost a month and Alliance does not bother to check methodically. Alliance has incompetent technicians, does not know much about the networking technology and cannot determine why the speed is always fluctuating, I am really fed up with this connection, people are so corrupted here, the person from where I got the connection (alliance distributor in our area) also not cooperative and behaves...

                                I want to made a complaint against Alliance Broadband net connection. Every month when I paid the bill of the net pack the next day it will be lost for 2-3 days. After that when I complaint again and again after some hours it will be came back to service.

                                  My user id is [protected], I have a prime package and download speed should be 720Kbps, I am getting 0.67Mbps, which is equal; to 0.67*8= 516Kbps, which is much less than which I should get. This is happening almost a month and Alliance does not bother to check methodically. Alliance has incompetent technicians, does not know much about the networking technology and cannot determine why the speed is always fluctuating, I am really fed up with this connection, people are so corrupted here, the person from where I got the connection (alliance distributor in our area) also not cooperative and behaves rudely today while I ask for an explanation/resolution for slow speed of my internet, can anyone give me a justice here?

                                  Aliiance service is very poor, I must say
                                  The line is still slow, in DAP, download speed is 82.1 kbps, but in normal browser it is 78 kbps, both are low with respect to promised speed, I should get 87kbps least as 87*8=696 kbps, my package is 700kbps, so there is an issue, today Alliance technician again take computer remotely, unable to resolve the issue, a technican before 2 weeks came to my house and unable to find out the issue, even though he was using his own company laptop, the speed issue was still there, so sorry to say, the incompetent technicians/line engineers unable to resolve the issue, not only this, shows attitude in the call, it looks like they are providing the service free of cost and trying to fob me off, this is not at all acceptable.

                                    My name is Chandra sekhar roy. I am using Alliance Broadband over 4 years. when the broadband login not works, I first call them by phone. They ask me to call again. But strange they don't attend it. Then I keep trying. I try over 40 times ! Because my Internet not start without them. Is this there 24x7 customer service. !!! Other things may be good, but the customer service, re think before going to plan for Alliance Broadband.

                                      We have been using alliance broadband for the past one year after switching from airtel. We are located in saltlake with user id mohit_sky, the service was provided by our local cable operator Skycomm.. Everyday from 10am to 12 am the internet doesnot work, it is a regularly occuring phenomena. We have complained to skycomm/alliance broadband but we keep hearing the same response - "power cut at alliance broadbands office". We are extremely unhappy with the service of this ISP and would like to warn anyone planning to use their service about this regular issue.
