    Hi, I am Rituparna Ray a alliance Broadband consumer for 4 months. My address is 64/55B Belgachia Road, Kolkata 700037. Our Phone number:[protected]. Mob no: [protected]. I am getting a problem during Skype video call and an intimation for Internet connection problem. I am using 450 plan. The exact problem is low audio- video quality and call interruption, call breakage, hazy picture, unwanted sudden ending of call. I complain for several times (its being 10-12 days) to our nearest operator but they actually didn't take any care of this matter. They are just told my parents that the problem is causing for high temperature in Kolkata. I am asking you is it? Or they are habituated in making jokes with their consumers? I am in abroad right now and want help from you. Please do the needful as my parents are suffering badly. They don't able to talk with me for long. Please help my parents.     Regular Link failure

    Each month I have to stay without the internet for atleast 8-10 days. When I call up to lodge a complain they do not pay any heed to my complain. After calling for 2-3 times they even stop picking up the phone. This is just untolerable.

      my name is MONORANJAN DAS MY USER ID IS [protected].I AM A CUSTOMER OF ALLIANCE BROADBAND SERVICE SINCE 2011.It been the third time that my local cable operator CHANNEL VISION has sent to me the internet bill which i paid earlier and when i show them the paid recipt they did not admitted their fault insted of this they showed a very neglecting attitude and did not wanted to admit their fault.i am highly dissepointed with the service and want to leave this line as it is giving me a much of trouble please as a customer of your service it is your duty to take a strict action against the my harrasment.

          I am using Alliance Broadband Internet Service, Kolkata from May, 2013.
          Every alternative day my face problem getting internet service. When i made contact with Local operator (Pragati Communication) under Alliance Broadband, he did not pick up my cal at time and don't try to solve my problem. Therefor my internet connection get unavailable for 2-3 days.
          When i made contact to main alliance broadband support desk([protected]), they told me to contact local operator(i.e. Pragati Communication), when he is unavailable on call and he did not say us about office address.

            Alliance broadband service Pvt Ltd now serve it's worst service via local vendor .I am ABSPL user since 6 years .Last 3 months I have been suffering ping poss,RTO,Loss upto 30% to 50 % without effective service. Every time I have complained about it but local vendor of alliance not responding .They are wasting user's money with fake words of service .They are very rude to customer of ABSPL and make threaten if someone complain...

            At the beginning of this year, January 2013, I changed my Internet Service Provider for a better service OR at least I THOUGHT SO. Things were really fine for the first 2 and a Half months. But ever since the end of March( 26th march to be exact) my service provider has stopped providing me the promised speed. My ISP has no Fair Usage Policy or What so ever. My Promised Speed and Package was

            1.5 mbps = 180kB/s (Day) (Photo Attached)
            8.0 mbps = 960-1024kB/s or 1.0MB/s (Night form 1 A.M - 9 A.M) [Photo Attached]
            Package Cost - Rs. 1399/- + 12.36% TAX = Rs. 1572/- per month.

            So its a Variable Speed Package. I was Fine with it till 26th March. Since that day my Night Speed Got Reduced to 750-815kB/s from 1.0MB/s(1024kB/s). I called up the customer care they said they would check it and told me to monitor for around 10 days and report. After Patiently monitoring for 10 days i called back the customer care and this time they just again told me they were having technical difficulties. Next after around 5-6 days after that my Night Speed was Furthur reduced to 595-605kB/s from 750-815kB/s. Now i was really fed up and again called up Customer care, and this time i was told that they had a Undersea Fiber Optic Cut Off so the bandwidth would suffer for 2-3 months. Ok, admitting that i had to wait till maybe June or July till my Night Speed was back to normal as assured i continued on with the Day Speed of 180-200kB/s Till today. From today(25th May 2013) the day speed was reduced to 120kB/s from 180kB/s. Really fed up i called up customer care again to my dismay, and they checked my speed and saw that the speed was really down, and they told me that they will look into the issue and Hung up. What Should i Do now? Going back to my old ISP would be even Worse. And This ISP (ALLIANCE BROADBAND) is driving me nuts. Please Take the Necessary Actions as soon as Possible. Thank You.

            Broad band service — internet service

            i have a connection of bsnl broad band service with 512kbp & my land line no. is 2665067. but it not work properly & it is always show speed in 250kbp to low & it is always every day distrub for 2 to 3 hour link shut down. i am very distrubed for this connection so plz take this problem & give me my real speed 512kbp.

            Alliance — Limited peering speed

            I use zoom plus plan 560 every month... meghbela, siti broadband charge more or less same .. they provide unlimited peering there is no scheme in this part.. alliance have.. my friends het 3 - 7 Mbps speed while I gei 630kbps max... why????

              sTREAMrIDE.net: Ads in Browser,

              Advertising agencies have been innovating new ways to market their products. Initially Banner Ads, then TV ads, Radio ads, and now the most happening is Web ads. There are many types of web advertisements like Text ads, Image ads, Pop-up ads, Pop-Under ads, many many more.

              But the latest that I discovered today is a concept by sTREAMrIDE.net. This site generates an ad at the bottom of the page whenever a page loads or gets refreshed.

              Now Lets get into Technical Term.

              Cause : - The site generates the following code just below the <body> tag of a website source code

              How it is generated:-
              The reason is still unknown to me. I would request users to update in the comment field if they find it out.

              Solution or How to get rid of it:-
              For Windows – Please navigate to the following path – “C:windowssystem32driversetc“, and edit the file “hosts“. Now add the following line at the bottom of the file -

              127.0.0.1 streamride.net ui.streamride.net

              Restart the browser, and see the ad to be removed. – SOLVED

              But still i[censored] have FireFox or Chrome just go to any web site like say

              http://www.filehippo.com/ (This add block come with website tht start with http not https)

              and right click on anywhere on the page and select Inspect Elements

              and select Body Tag

              This might seems like ok.. but in some cases.. some java script which are user to show progess bar on some script like rapidleech... wont work.. only because this java script is running in our Browser...

              I have called up alliance send them mail but so far no action been taken... its like they are earning hell of a money by doing this and without asking any permission from user...

                Alliance broadband kolkata, is cheating, fake, company, they are taking money every month fixed rate and providng speed not more then 10kbps, also all the time net failour, no connection, if you are unbale to pay on time they disconnected that, the company, the management. They are using some cheap guys who is labour saying they are technical guy, this company should kick out form the city asap, every one suffering for this. They are saying they are giving min 125 kbps but we are getting about 10kbps max, this company ceo is here to cheat people.

                Due to rain a week ago, our broadband connectivity stop working, in this region there are many alliance broadband user and there net are working properly . it's only ours net which is not working properly, your local dealer ranjit he is neither receiving our calls nor looking into our problem.

                last 15 days after 6 pm to 11.30 pm i could not use my internet service because your tecnical problem.

                  Hi,
                  I am a customer of Alliance Broadband internet service provider(Tollygunge) from last 1.5 years,and had some terrible experience with this organization.After getting frustrated with the service of this service provider I have decided to lodge this complaint against this company.
                  It is a very bad experience working with them.Every 2nd day there connection gets disrupted and after informing them they don't care to send anyone to resolve the issue.Even sometimes they don't bother to pick up the complaint calls.Many times I used to call 7-8 times within a span of 1 hours,but some bogus people sitting over there in there office don't bother to send anyone to checkout what happens.
                  Today on 8th October I have lodged a complaint that I don't have internet connection since morning on 9:30 morning and its 12:15 but they did'nt send any person to my location.I've faced huge losses and problem both from financially and officially for there unprofessional and extremely poor service towards consumer.

                    From the day of taking the connection from Alliance Broadband I have been suffering from this problem. They never give the committed speed. As I am using ZOOM PLUS Package where 256 kbps ( upto 512 kbps at 12 am to 8 am ) is the committed speed , but I never get that. I have lodged complaint at Alliance Helpdesk as well as Local Cable Operator several times. but they did not so much importance and ignored my problem completely. They sent some technicians who are not efficient enough to fix this issue. I had taken the connection in Oct,2009. My user id is < mamata_dd >. Then why should I pay Rs. 550 in each month. They have taken huge amount initially as installation, activation and etc. etc..
                    Please help me sir, they are intentionally not taking it seriously. Please help me.

                      I live in Moore Avenue, Tollygaunj. kolkata-40. Sir,i am a retirred person from STATE BANK OF INDIA and i am one of the user of your broadband service for last two months under the franchisee of 'Regent Park Broadband & Allied Services Pvt. Ltd.' address:- 148/28, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Road, KOl-40.
                      I have taken the 'ZOOM PACK'. I want to lodge a complain against them. From the day i took the connection from them, i am suffering continuously. Most of the time there was no connection. When i tried to call them up, i found out that all the help line numbers are dead. But now i want to told something very bad experience which i faced today morning in their office. Actually i had no connection from saturday evening. When i called up them, i found the numbers are dead. On Sunday noon, i went to their office to give a written complain. One of the employee told me that he will send their technicians within one hour to my house which is only 10 mins distance from their office. He don't even took a written complain against my version. Ok fine, i went back to home. The whole sunday there was no connection not even in night from the day before. When i went to their office today at 9:30 a.m. without having my breakfast, two employees started arguing with me continuously. One of them told me, that, if this same thing happens with u i[censored] are a BSNL customer, then what u will do. I told them Does this company is a part of BSNL or it is a private service provider. Suddenly, one of the employee hitted me on my face very hardly and told me in a very rough bad language to get out from their office and also told me that he will not come to my house to solve my problem. So now, I am asking to u that have i done any wrong in taking a connection from ALLIANCE. Or this type of behaviour is a part of your franchisee's style to interract with the customer.
                      Sir, I want a quick action against this one of your worthless franchisee or i will be bound to take legal action from consumer forum against them. Please help me.

                        Respected sir,

                        Internet connectivity issue is bugging me since the day I got Alliance Broadband Services. The moment Electricity is gone at my home, the network connectivity goes out.
                        Earlier I had had a talk with local franchisee and they did not resolve the issue. Now I have been talking with Alliance Kolkata office for past few days.
                        On Sunday I got a call and one of their officials told me that UPS problem has resolved. Well, I really appreciated the initiative from my heart. However, yesterday at evening I found that the issue is still there and has not been resolved at all.
                        Today when I inform them they again assure me to send their own engineer and verify the issue. I have talked with Archita (Technical stuff) Tomosa (Finance executive). They even reluctant to provide their higher official contact details.
                        They do not bother about customer. They just push the ball towards local franchisee.
                        Please join me and raise your voice against deception of Alliance Broadband Services.
                        Be strong and honest Indian to fight against corruption.

                          Well my name in Avijit Jana...
                          I am from Kolkata WB. Well on 4th of this month i renew my account with the flash package. in day time now after 5 days i am getting around 196KB/Sec(1568kbps) as they say you will get 3/4th of your package. Ok fine i understand if i use shared bandwidth connection i have to deal with this but in night they say it up to 4mbps(192KB/secX2=384KB/sec"as per there 3/4 rule"). But ok its up-to 4mbps so at-least i should be getting around 350KB/sec. I am getting 260KB/sec average while downloading from Microsoft. You can check the package details in this link

                          The alliance Customer Care saying i will be getting around 300KB/sec(2400kbps) hooray i am getting 400kbps extra..Tell me guys is this fare???does 4mbps upto means this????

                          Before i used to have speed package where i used to get 90KB/sec in day and 170KB/sec in night.
                          if you calculate this with flash that i have now, it should be 170KB/secX2=340KB/sec(at least i should get this but no i won't as per alliance)

                            I purchase a internet broadband unlimited 399 package from this company.they commit they will provide services if any problem with connections.on 24th suddnly internet connetivity gone and when i ask to alliance broadband franchise "what happend with connection my internet is not working? He replied very ruffly we will see in morning..then i say its not working since morning he said to kya aap pura din so rahe the' what the hell use this type language with customers. I am complaingAgainst with that franshise.please help me..what is this a company behave with customers...

                              Yesterday June 06 2009 I had very important job to be done for my client in the USA and so i was in my office but as it will take a much longer time decided to complete it from my home but it was showing today last day for renewal. so I went to the website www.alliancekolkata.com and saw online renew and i went and provided my alliance user id and the payment was accepted through their online payment portal USING MY AXIS BANK DEBIT CARD with confirmation but MY ACCOUNT WAS NOW RENEWED THEY EVEN NOT PICKUP THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED THE CUSTOMERCARE IN THE NIGHT GOT THEM THIS MORNING AND A GUY SAID OK WE CAN RENEW THE ACCOUNT NOW BUT WE NEED A CONFIRMATION FROM THE LOCAL CABLE OPERATOR WHICH I DID AND MY LOCAL OPERATOR CALLED ME BACK AND TOLD TO AGAIN GIVE THEM A CALL THEN A LEADY PICKED UP THE PHONE WHEN I EXPLAINED AGAIN SHE TOLD ME TO HOLD AND TALKED WITH THE OTHERS THEN AGAIN TOLD ME THEY WILL NOT RENEW MY ACCOUNT AS THEY HAVENT ASKED ME TO PAY IT ONLINE AND EVEN IF THEY DO THEY WILL DO AFTER GETTING THE MONEY AFTER 15 DAYS IS THIS IS A WAY TO TALK TO A CUSTOMER OF 5+ YRS.

                              I WILL SUGGEST NOBODY SHOULD USE THE ALLAINCE BROADBAND THEY STEAL A DAY FROM YOU EVERY TIME YOU RECHARGE.

                                hi every one.
                                i am using executive pack(384 unlimited) but i am getting 20-35KB/sec not even 43 or 41KB/sec.
                                i have called many time at there so called customer care. but they only check my pc by netmeeting n say we will send u engineer so solve ur problem. but sm of the day times the connection stay in good health but in the evening near about 8pm the problem starts again. from last 11 days im facing this problem but no result for improvement.

                                and another thing when i tell them that im getting 29 or 30kb/sec speed they advise me that i will be getting in 384 pack.

                                please tell me is it justice...for past 5 months i was using this pack in that time i used to get 41-44kb/sec but now max 36kb/sec...

                                Please help me.

                                me also facing the same problem.me used to get 41-45KB/SEC constant download speed on 384kbps package but now max 35KB/SEC.and service is also not smooth as before.from this month it is happening.customer care only scans your pc and tell you that speed is ok or it will be solved within 24hours.
                                You are getting the Right Amount of Speed. ISP gives bandwidth in MEGABITS per SEC.. our computer shows us download speeds in KILOBYTES per Sec. Do the math.. You are getting the Right speed. 8 bits = 1 byte. so 384 kilobits = 384 divided by 8 is 48kB/s. You are getting the Promised speed. And just for Info to get a speed of 384 KB/s ur will need a bandwidth of 384 multiplied by 8 = 3.1 mbps (3100kB/s approx.).

                                BIG "B" > BYTES
                                SMALL "B" > BITS.

                                  I am using Executive pack (384 kbps)...but I am not getting the bandwidth what they are promised to give.. recently they restricting torrent download speed without informing the customers. I had sent 4 mails regarding that... Alliance Executives are telling that they are restricting bandwidth for torrent download but they are not ready to reply the mails... this is ridiculous...

                                  I am using Alliance Broadband since few months. From the last month (May 2009) my internet speed is so slow, it takes lots of time to open a webpage. I had coveyed the same to Alliance customer care; they always say we will forward your complain to the local network supplier; which is Dum dum cable tv network. But till date no result. Even I had conveyed the same to the local operators (point of contact: Rajdip [protected] and Abhijit [protected]). They sort out the issue then it was okay for 2 days. Then again the same problem i.e. "Request time out". Again I had conveyed the same to Alliance customer care and as usual they had said they will inform the local operators. But no rsult. Then I had thought to convey the same to Rajdip, but he was not picking up any calls for the 3 days. Day before yesterday 31st May 2009, he had received my call; then I had conveyed the same and he had promised that everything will be okay from 1st june 2009. But from 1st June 2009 the problem is now different, its showing "cable unplugged". Then I had tried to reach Rajdip more than 50 times till date but he never pick up the call. Even Abhijit, the Sr. most person; he had picked the call and said that he will convey the message to Rajdip. Then I had again called Abhijit to know the update but he is not picking up the call. I had tried to reach Abhijit more than 10-15 times.
                                  I don't know why this is happening. Its in another sense a harrasment to the customer. Please help me so that I can start my work asap...

                                  I am using alliance broadband. The pack is 349 unlimited pack. In time of taking the connection they promised me to provide 128 kbps/s speed. Right now I'm getting the downloading speed is 1.9 kbps/s or 2.9 kbps/s of max to max it would be 20 kbps/s if I use Download accelerator plus. Now this month might be my last month and am thinking to leave that connection as soon as possible. After spending a huge amount of money per month if I get that kind of disgusting service this is not possible for me to carry on. I have complained a lot of times but they replied that they have no problems at all the problem is in my PC. I have screen shots to prove that what kind of service they are providing.

                                  I live in Paikpara I have currently use Alliance broadband but i thinks I would disconnect this connection because I think today Alliance broadband connection is in No. 1 position in bad connection. They have slow download speed, Most of time you can't download from rapidshare. They assured us and advertised that they give you 24 hours online connection but it is not true. In a month you should get 15-20 days approx and other days there should be server problem or other problem. I request to the viewer not take this connection because I am facing this problem so I did not like other people will have same problem. It will be take your happy life to heal

                                  i am getting only 140 kbps download speed
                                  but for 5 days only 70 to 110 kbps
                                  for 5 days i have not been able to download a thing
                                  25 to 35 times reply is ok then again 3 to 5 times request time out
                                  my downloading breaks inbetween
                                  i am fed up by calling call center and my local operator poor chaps come and spend hours

                                    I have 3 internet connections of ALLIANCE BROADBAND SERVICES kolkata 2 since the past many years and one taken a couple of months ago.These connections has been given through a company by the name of MST Softcom Pvt. Ltd . since the last couple of months the connections have been giving a lot of trouble and more often than not i am not able to log on to the internet, or if at all i can the connection goes dead all of a sudden . I have taken the unlimited packages and for these i am paying almost Rs. 1300 per month in advance . Since the last two months i have been repeatedly complaing to both alliance and mst about the trouble i am facing . over last month almost daily my connections would stop working at night and ofcourse no action would be taken till the next day .Inspite of complaining to alliance and speaking to some of the people there nothing has been done about the connections and presently also on of my connections is not working for which i have been calling them up since morning .I have tried to contact senior personels but to no avail .When i asked them to compensate for the hours that i did not get the connection alliance says that is for MST to decide when MST is approached for the same they point the finger to Alliance . Even for any fault i am expected to call up both places not that they rectify the problem till they have been called a number of times and screamed at .My main reason for giving this complain here is that if anyone was to take this connection they should think a hundred times, and yes maybe if any senior level person in alliance was to read it some action would be taken to improve their services.

                                    Since I sent the previous complain on 28th Dec 2008, I have not received any responce of that. I know that you won't respond to this mail also still I am sending this as Help Desk (Alliance) Mr. Tapes has suggested to complain through mail along with the call he has logged and booked Engineer to visit my place to check the problem again.

                                    Problem:
                                    Consecutive 5 nights I am getting slow download speed (less than 9 KBPS) after 10 PM with Executive Pack!

                                    Action Taken:
                                    Yesterday night I made 4th phone call after previous 3 night call to Alliance Help Desk and Mr. Joydeep had tried options remotely through NetMeeting and could'nt trace anything and arraged for an Engineer Visit today. Engineer had not been briefed about the problem by Help Desk! I had to explain the problem over phone from My Office to the Engineer. He checked and found no problem as he got average 38 KBPS download speed (known to me as the problem starts after 10 PM only at present) and confirmed Network was also OK.
                                    Tonight I checked download speed at 8 PM and found no problem and informed Help Desk about the good Speed :). But after 10 PM same problem started again and I tried calling Help Desk and after several try, I could have get hold of Help Desk Person again. Helpdesk checked remotely and found nothing and booked an Engineer to visit my place again tomorrow with no esmated time of when Engineer will appear. So, we have to be alerted at Home as Engineer may appear anytime tomorrow!
                                    Anyway, for last couple of days I am facing slow download speed ater 10 PM and not getting any solution instead of spending so much (to me) money for Executive Package and so many phone calls!!!
                                    I am frustrated about Alliance Support and I am not getting value out of money. Requesting for your attention to resolve the issue with no delay.

                                    I am getting very slow download speed for last couple of days. I have reported this to Alliance Help desk for couple of times and I was told following reasons in response of my several calls:

                                    There is some problem Internationally which is resulting in slow download speed across all users
                                    Will forward your call to our Senior
                                    There is Fibre Optic Cable problem and Alliance is also migrating to new system/application and don't know expected resoltion time for both.
                                    I am using Executive Pack which should give me 40KBPS download speed (I used to get this before Alliance shifted to new system) but now a days I am getting only 5-6 KBPS download for most of the times and 11-16 KBPS ocassionally. I understand the global Fibre Optic Cable issue and it is not possible for Alliance to give estimate of it's resolution time. But Alliance Help Desk should know the timeline by when Alliance Migration work will be over such that Customer can get expected download speed. This is totally unacceptable as I am not getting value/service out of money I am spending. Many times I have sent several mails to this mail ID but haven't received a single response! If I don't get satisfactory response by tomorrow, I would have to contact Ratul Maitra (Director) to explain my problem and get a satisfactory response/solution from him.

On this connection I take BROADBAND INTERNET connection. from last 20 day's I found an error name 691.For this I have complain my AREA MANAGER and all the officer as MR. SATYAN SHARMA, MR. S.KALITA, MISS SIMI.and many other senior as well as junior officer. yet 20day's are pass away but my BROADBAND INTERNET connection are not OK.PLEASE to do some strong action in this regard and rebate me in my monthly charges as
                                    RS.750 ( as i have to take +750 home plan).from the day my internet are not working and always show me an error no.691.
                                    I am getting a massage for 2-3 times of every month & can't login . Massage show error authenticated problem ( you are not allowed login from this machine ). I am using lan card of my machine . please check and solution the problem.
                                    The most service in Broadband Business, Please never plan to go for Alliance. They are basically cheaters in the form of so called Broadband service providers.
                                    INTERNET IS VERY SLOW WORK.
                                    Grievances are mounting for Allied Broadband Services for many reasons.The Subscribers are complaining to the authority but no worthwhile result Even in many instances no response is received against a complaint.In the existing situation I would request all o[censored]s should organise an association of subscribers and get our grievances addressed through Grievance Cell of the State Govt.Consumers Protection Cell.K.S.Basuray.[protected]@gmail.com
                                    Service is not so much good all time server problems no extra backup plans and sometimes no internet cause of dns server failure and co-operation with customers is not also good no response all time excuses but no results browsing speed is good but downloading sucks except torrents because of the leech anyway i'll give them 3 star for everything
                                    Same problem. The network is down after 10-11 pm. Repeated complaints to the local service provider has been fruitless as the problem continues anyways. The service has not been up to the mark at all, and basically they are cheating our money. So many complaints on the desk, still the problem has not been resolved. You should give up your broadband service if you can't provide consumers the service at it has been promised.
