Dear amazon team,
Very unpleasant experience this time and felling like i have been cheated by you guys.
On 20 oct 19 - i bought the iphone xr handset on 20th oct 19 from amazon.in (Order id[protected] i bought the handset under offer, “5% instant discount + 5% reward points” offer on amazon pay icici bank
On 20 oct 19 - before making a purchase same day i have called your customer care and asked i can see 5% instant discount upfront, however is 5% reward points (Amazon pay) is eligible on this product and on emi transaction, so your executive confirmed that yes sir don’t work buy this product. You will get this i can see this very well on the offered page. (Kindly refer the recording)
On 20-oct 19 – i bought this product.
On 21-oct 19 – i got the delivery.
On 24 oct-19 – i got my icici bank statement and there was first emi charged in credit card bill however in amazon reward summary i have not got the benefit of - 5% reward points (Amazon pay) balance.
On 24 oct-19 – i called icici amazon pay customer care and they confirmed me that since this was a emi purchase hence you are not eligible for 5% reward points (Amazon pay) balance you may contact amazon customer care.
On 24 oct-19 :- today i have called, amazon customer care and spoken with one of the representative he still confirm yes you are eligible for this offer and you will get this in next billing cycle m then i made him understand this bill is generated after transaction as i have also been charged for the first emi in credit card statement received today, so he asked me to speak with icici bank regarding this as per him, icici bank have come to amazon for this offer benefit, he also requested me to visit the icici bank branch, i requested to transfer the call to the customer care, his answer was they will also confirm the same thing what i am saying. (Kindly refer recording)
On 24 oct-19 :- finally he have transferred the call to the lady named selvia (Lady with full of attitude), she also confirmed that same thing that this reward will be credited in next billing cycle and when i have informed him same thing bill has been generated after this transaction and i have been charged for the same, so after putting my call on hold for a long, she came back and confirm sir since this was emi transaction you will not be eligible for this reward back. Also she confirmed even though if someone have done the miscommunication still we can only give the feedback to the person and don’t do anything beyond it, finally she confirmed is there is anything else i can help you with and disconnected my call,
Here i am sure these people cannot be onroll employee of amazon, they may a bunch of outsource agency doing miss communication with customer and not understanding the customer paid.
Now i am enclosing the screenshot of the offer, where it is clearly mentioned, 5% reward back is eligible for emi purchase as well, now to reconfirm if i am not missing anything i have called your customer care and reconfirm from them before making a purchase if anything is hidden here, i am having icici amazon pay card through which i have made the payment and i am the prime customer.
Hence it is requested to please credit 2000 amazon pay reward point in my account, else take back your handset i don’t want to deal with the people who don’t really care for their employees.
Also i am looping icici bank here as i have been stucked between to big giants (Banking and ecommerce giants) and no one ready to take the ownership here.
Amazon India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
