We ordered an Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS + Cellular, 40mm) on Amazon India app on 17th January, 2020 with the order number #[protected] and were given a date of delivery on 20th January, 2020. The delivery was made a day early on 19th January, 2020 when our family was out of town and they asked the delivery person to drop it with the neighbor. It was on the assumption that the delivery being made was a novel ordered earlier.
We came back later in the evening and got hold of the delivery package from the neighbor and opened it to find the main item (Apple Watch Series 5, GPS+Cellular, 40mm) missing from the package. We can confirm that the packaging from the outside did not appear tampered with but once we opened the carton, the air filled plastic were missing and then we found the Apple Watch box’s plastic cover half torn and upon further opening it, the watch wasmissing with remaining items present in the box.
We have filed a complaint on phone and via customer care chat on the Amazon India app but haven't received any feedback till date. We also filed a complaint to the local authorities. We hereby notify Amazon India and it’s subsidiaries to quickly investigate the matter and provide us with an immediate replacement of the order.
We expect Amazon India’s strict compliance and immediate action in this regard.
