I had purchased iphone 8 on 14.03.2018. Just after one year and one month the set got shut down and its not restarting. I had sent to authorised service centre it is saying hardware problem and it is irrepairable.
It costed me rs 64000. And in just one year it is dead.
Its just pathetic.
Atleast the phone should be repaired.
This has happened with me twice on two iphones one iphone 6 and iphone-8.
We have spend our hard earned money to buy such costly set and it is not being repaired.
Its just pathetic.
The phone is in very new condition and even does not have any scratches on it.
It has been handled also properly. How come hardware issue come
I buy 24th may 2018 iPhone 6 using after 6 months started touch not working given to service center they reset my mobile after completed one year again same problem started touch not working warranty period experidate over now in service centre they are saying you have to replace your display I need to solve this problem as soon as possible

    I’m too much in trouble and very disappointed with tresor service. I have iphone x and i’m facing an issue (Unexpected restart and screen freeze) since a long time. I visited apple authorised service centre many times for solution but i came get any solution. Service agent behaviour is very bad and, they does not compromise on anything. I’m still in too much trouble. I tried all way for solution.

      I had purchased an Apple iphone XS worth approx 1lac INR.
      What I am going to share, is what I've gone through being a loyal Apple customer.
      So I purchased an IPHONE XS from INDIA last year at a whooping price of 1 lac 10 thousand bucks. I had just started earning and being a loyal apple customer, I had waited for almost more than an year to be able to afford an iphone of my own! Finally, the day came when I thought I could spare some amount of my income and own an IPHONE. Mind you I still wasn't capable enough to do a down payment at the time. So I put mysel[censored]nder an even greater stress of paying the amount through an EMI scheme. It was easy thinking of it at first, I mean it was just 15, OOO per month. But, as it came upon month after month it was quite a stress, I wouldn't be able to spend on going out with my friends etc, cause I had choosen to spend that part of my income on a Phone, Well, that was my decision and no matter how expensive it was, I owned it inspite of what people said around me.
      I paid out the full course of my EMI that was 6 months, and now I finally, owned the phone to myself. One day me and a friend went for a swim, I did take my IPHONE XS which comes with IP68 rating, which mind you defines only the water resistance and indiacate the phone being Water proof. SO me and my friend chilled by the pool. Took a couple of boomerangs, to be cool, but everything was done under the claims Apple has made, regarding the IP68 rating. Infact, I didn't even try the part where Apple proudly writes, dropped your phone in the pool ? no worries, dive in, pick it up, wipe it and let it dry off. I mean I had barely taken a few pictures in the pool, and actually NONE inside the pool. My friend who accompanied me owns an Iphone 7 and we both used our phone equally, near that pool of water. I kept my phone by the pool after sometime and was enjoying my time, When I got out, my phone had switched off. My first thought was, the battery must have drained so I let it be. I wiped it thoroughly and let it dry off for the next 4-5 hours. I plugged it into charging, But it just wouldn't turn on. Not even show me the Apple logo. Now I began to panic. It was late that day so I could only take it to the apple store the next day, which I did.
      Now, If you know, Apple doesn't have any APPLE STORE/SERVICE CENTERS in INDIA, whatever they do have, are Authorised 3rd party resellers. So on reaching the store, I was denied an investigation as the executive could see a bubble of water underneath the front camera itself and told me that from the looks of it, my phone looked water damaged, and as per APPLE'S policies they don't cover water/liquid damage under Warranty and they went on to suggest me to Pay another 56, 000 INR for a replacement of the handset. This got me really annoyed but, I knew there was no point talking to the people at the store, cause they were not apple executives. So, I contacted apple support online via chat and explained my whole case, the customer support also copy pasted a few articles on apples warranty being void in case of a liquid damage. At this point what I was failing to digest was the fact, that how can a company go on to claim, when I clearly have seen the claims fail in front of my eyes. And in such a situtaion who should they believe, the physical indicators which change colour on coming in contact with the phone or me, claiming that I did everything well within claims.
      I somehow got an executive to talk to me over the phone, he listened to my case, and assured that they would open an investigation for my case, and asked me to the visit the store again so they could have a better look, this time around. I visited the apple store again the following day and the store did have an appointment in my name, but had no intimidation of the case I had just spent so much time explaining to the SENIOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT STAFF the previous day. So, I once again found my self standing there having to explain my case, all over again. I knew they won't beleive me, why should they. I could be any other person walking in with a damaged Iphone, claiming it to not be my fault but the companies.

      During my conversation with the apple customer support, I was informed by him, that he would be rechable in caseof any issues or help, if needed, on the day of my appoitment at the apple store. I left early from office just to get to the apple store well within time, handed over my phone to the store staff and asked them to investigate, and so they did. Within 10 mins the guy at the store walked back to me and said that there was water inside the device and they could'nt do anything. I was frustrated and tried calling the customer support on the contact provied by him, but it kept ringing and then going to voice mail. I left him a couple of voice notes, thinking maybe he was away at that moment and would hopefully get back to me. Almost, an hour must have passed, but I didnt get any call back from this customer support, who mind you assured me full support from his side, the previous day. I stood there, not knowing what to do. The store then provided me with another customer support number. I was able to get through to another customer support staff and explain my issue, but the answer I got was quite hideous. So this particular staff told me, "THE ANGLE AT WHICH YOU EXPOSE YOUR PHONE TO THE WATER, MATTERS". I was really aggitated at this remark and asked him to tell me where apple had mentioned such a thing in there IP68 claims. He had no answer and just kept giving me some useless thing one after the other. At the end of all this I was DONE. Actually, I still hadn't processed the fact that without it being my fault, I would be in a situation, where I would be so helpless and wasted a whooping amount of money. I wanted to address this issue on the correct forums but I feel extremly sick and had to focus on being better first. So now I am writting this, Don't know if its ever going to matter to anyone. But for a loyal apple user like me, I am quite put off I would never suggest anyone around me to invest in Apple products. Apple gives big claims about there quality checks, I not only question it now. But, I know so, that no quality check is fool proof, even in 6 sigma, the defect rate is 3.4 for every million products manufactured. There are other examples, which sing about apples quality failure, the butterfly keyboard on the 2017 macbook pro, Customers complained the keys would stick too often and so apple had to launch quality programme for all users with the macbook pro 2017 model. That itself explains, if the production would have been with 0 defects (which is not possible) and they had such a strong quality check facilty, apple would have not needed that quality programme in the first place.
      ITS NOT MY FAULT, THERE WAS A QUALITY DEFECT IN THE DEVICE I RECIEVED. I DONT THINK A DEVICE WITH A RATING OF IP68 CAN GET DAMAGED BY MINOR WATER CONTACT, ITS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS.

      But issue still persist, I am not satisfy with apple services.

        This is paras. This is about your premium device iphone x. From the day i got this facing multiple issues. Submitted the device thrice in service center. Every time i asked them that i cannot visit service center again n again, so either replace it or repair it. I am not going to pay a single penny. And everytime they say its not in their hands i am fed up of listeing this thing from "b2x center of apple'. Which is on third floor, city center mall gurgaon that"nothing is in their hands." so why you have opened that service center just to collect the device and send to banglore. And why you called it a service center. Or nowadays there is too much rush, you need a day just to talk to the person who is submitting the device. I prefer not to write more about service center (B2x gurgaon city center mall third floor) because if i want to write i will be needing a whole day.

        Now comes to the problem, my phone is heating too much and there is some green line or colour appearing on screen and you guys are saying that it is water damage.
        But according to me, this never happened. I went into the water, instead of it is water resistant, i have never used it in water. I have googled this issue and the results are very general i. E; this issue is faced by million o[censored]sers worldwide.

        And i have also extend the warranty of my phone. But the experience i have with this device is ridiculous.
        Will not buy iphone again. As this is a lakh rupees device and have multiple issue, so can't even thought to buy a new device again.

        Conclusion
        Either replace it with a new device.
        Or repair it fully, so that i won't face any problems further. My prefernce is to replace it.
        Or take your garbage back and showcase in your musuem.
        Or i have other ways to tackle this situation (And you know what are those ways).

            I purchased iphone 7plus and iphone 7 months later. After one month one of my iphone 7plus display changes its colour gradually and net work and mic related issues. Contact the showroom immediately, they told to show in resq reliance at pondicherry. Now they are repaired my mobile. Till now i am not getting the mobile. It was given at 13.6.2018.
            My question is,
            Why they delayed.?
            The problem is happiness within one month, why not give new one mobile
            The customer handles the phone properly, the problem happens on the mobile only, so why you repair and return the same mobile
            I purchased two mobile, how you assured that same problem cannot happen in other phone.

            I already posted my complaint,
            My iPhone 7plus was given to the reliance resqu in pondicherry at 13.6.2019. My handset is not reached till now.
            Within one month handset having display related problem of costly mobile.
            Other brands are immediately replace new one mobile. Branded companies why not solve the issue immediately.

                Apple is selling poor quality products. Poor serv. support -case id:[protected] &[protected].
                poor quality iPhone sold which life is only up to warranty period. Two phone with Sr.no.DNPRVAMLHFLM & .FK1VM3RUHFLM purchased last year completely dead 13 & 14th month from the date of.purchase. I have approached service support what the quality of phone u make which only work up to the warranty period. Their response is pathetic: we can do anything even after 1 day of.waranty. even though same.problem detected in multiple phones but they are list worried about consumer trust and question on quality. Dont buy apple product

                  My ipad had 46% battery percentage when it got unexpectedly switched off and was not turning on through charging or via itunes hard reset method and was completely dead with a complete black screen. The ipad was taken to the authorised apple service centre on 7/06/2019 (Reliance retail limited located in westend mall janakpuri west new delhi 110058). The service centre incharge told me that the ipad is dead so no diagnostics could be done on it. They further explained me that it is not repairable but is only replacable as it is out of warranty. They gave me a estimate of Rs. 28, 000/= to be paid for a replacement of ipad. It is very shocking to know that there is no repair of ipad provided by apple authorised service centres. They are cheatibg the customers by denying for repair in order to extract money from the customers.
                  I have purachse new iphone 7 plus on 1 june 2019. I have seen there is a battery problem continuously decrease without any usage

                    I am very disappointed from Apple service I am submit my phone Apple care from last week after summit service centers check my phone after Validation given receiving sheet and told me your phone VMI is pass we have send this phone to Apple technical team Bangalore after 4 days got call from local service centers told Bengali team reject this case due to display non Apple how can I possible Indore center is approved and Bangalore team is reject I am summit my phone authorized service provide first time problem in my phone after that call customer care for helping me but every time customer care required 48 hour for exclamation today days goon but Apple customer care is not responding please help me and resold my problem

                      Have purchased iphone x from dubai and started using it on 20th may with occasionally heating it went dead on 24th may. I went to service center they said it is a hardware on friday. But they did not register my complain saying that apple server are down and told me to on 27th may after a long what of 2 hours. On 27th may service center person tells me that the phone has major hardware issues. I have paid full money for my phone and why should i use a faulty hardware problem phone. I requested to replace my phone but was on deaf ears. I also contacted call centre to get the same response from them too. I have paid full money for a new iphone and not a repaired phone so want a replacement for my phone which is iphone x 64gb in silver
                      My iPhone7 is not working properly video and pictures attached, as apple team not able to resolve the issue.
                      warranty still there for 10 months.
                      Case ID:[protected] Which i have raised 9 days back my no action as of now.
                      After expending 40 thousand in fake apply i totally feel i waste my money.

                        I had brought iphone x from dubai. Started using it on 20th may with occasionally heating there was no other problem. But on 24th may it went dead. I went to service center that dad but could not register my complain as apple system were down and asked me to come on 27th may. But on 27th may the service center person says that they can not find and software problem and they need to send it to bangalore for major hardware problems. I did not get proper response from service center and call centre. I will like my phone to be replaced as it is a faculty phone.in just 4 days my phone is dead so i want my phone to be replaced

                          I bought the laptop from apple reseller rsg computers in kalkajee in delhi on may 7. I found the battery life was only about 3-4 hours and informed rsg. They asked me to let the battery drain a couple of times and it might correct. I did but there was no improvement. I informed rsg again and they told me they will come and look at it and repair it if necessary.

                          I do not want the laptop to be repaired. I have paid for a new laptop and that is what i want. The product is faulty and it needs to be replaced.

                          However, both the reseller and apple are trying to run circles and avoid replacing the laptop. They want to act like it is repair under warranty.

                          I have never heard of a manufacturer that supplies faulty equipment and then refuses it replace it. And instead wants to repair it under warranty as if it was an old product and the problem was caused by the customer!

                          I would like a replacement laptop at the soonest possible. I would also like to register a complaint against apple so that they are not able to do this to other customers

                            I am a apple product lover since from 2009. I have used iphone 4- 4S and now using iphone 6S( brought from US before releasing in iIndia) since from last 3 years. I was using ipad( first generation) third generation and now using ipad pro with pencil brought from Singapore( wanted to buy early to release in India!). i purchased n i-watch-2 from an authorised reseller( i-Coreor) in India in the month of February 2017 and enjoyed it for nerly two years. As I am very possessive about my gadgets especially apple products!!.I never used under water also (even though it is water resistant!!!.) It is very sad to see strange peeling off of watch coating under the dial! i contacted customer care via online chatting directed me to hand over it to nearby service center... I contacted the re seller where i purchased and handed over it to inspect... they told me that itwill be sent to Bangalore service center for further inspection... after 8-9 days they are telling that ( that too after my volunteer enquiry over phone) consumer service center people not possible to do anything as the warranty period is over! I dont believe this ...apple product does not have so delicate coating that peel off with in two years... .. being an apple product lover i never handled this watch irresponsibly...I wanted to buy watch -4 Cellular model this month...! I am rethinking about it now... But, i think this is a serious issue related to quality of product... My watch is still with your ( i-Corner) customer service centre...

                              I am your pain ful customer who purchase iphone device on 16.7.2018, after listen a lots of brand values.
                              Phone occur some camera problem in 20.5.2019 and submit my device in your care jaipur 21.5.2019.
                              The service center person check my device in front of me and dissemble and assemble, and he said this problem occur from hardware therefore we will have to move this handset in bangalore.
                              After 4-5 days back i got call from service center and he said "that your device will not repair due to some internal tempering"

                              Q1: if phone tempered ' why did call log in warranty?
                              Q2: why did you staff determine my problem and assure to me swap without any discrepancy?

                                I have an iphone 7 which shows No service issue since past 2 months, model A1660 which is eligible for replacement by Apple.
                                I had submitted my phone to Apple service centre 05/04/2019 and they replaced the screen saying the issue would be resolved and charged 13k for the same and gave the phone back on 20/04/2019.
                                But the Issue Again Appeared in 2-3 days, so i submitted the phone again on 23/04/2019 .
                                The phone had intermittent issue, once the issue occurs if we switch off the phone for 4-5 hrs and switch it on the issue is gone.
                                The Service Center asked me to collect back the phone in 3-4 days saying they observed the phone, but couldnt find any issue, so i contacted Apple Support India, and on their support assistants word that i should collect and use the phone, and if issue still persists, then they will get it resolved, i collected it on 27/04/2019.
                                I again got the same issue after a few days, so i contatced Apple Phone Support, and told them about the past 2 expiriences, and the main issue here is every time you call Apple Support you need to talk to someone New and the person handling the issue previously cannot be reached back again, even though we have their Name and Extension Numbers nor do tthey Reply back to emails .
                                Also the Sevice Center Refused to take the phone again, saying there is no issue and the phone i s fine, so after 3-4 hrs of explaining the Apple Phone Support assisant, she told me that yes the phone Qualifies for a replacement, and that i should give the phone back to the same service center and she even spoke to the service center to accept the phone on 11/05/2019 .

                                The third time I gave the phone and showed the screen recordings from different times and they agreed that there is issue.
                                But again i got a call from Service Center on 21/05/2019 to collect the phone saying the couldnt Find any issue in the phone .
                                Inspite of knowing that the model is defective, apple is not taking any action and saying there is no issue.
                                When i called the Apple care exec on 22/05/2019 and asked him to escalate, he said he is the last point of contact and we can't do anything, we will have to collect back the phone .
                                Service center says talk to Apple they can't help.
                                So Should i be going through this to and fro, o[censored]sing a faulty phone, and going to the Service Center that is 1.5 hrs away from my home and if there was no issue, then why did they ask me to get the screen replaced in the first place, because my phone was already OUT of warranty, i could have bought a new phone rather then spending 13k on screen replacement .

                                And NONE of the Apple guys told me that this cannot be replaced as it has been bought from US, infact they charged me for repairs
                                I feel Helpless, and very MENTALLY TRAUMATISED, as i can do anything about the UNJUST Treatment i am going through.

                                  I have purchased iphone8 one and half year back and the warranty end of the phone. The phone stops working. The hard money of the customer is taken by apple. We believe the iphone means there is no issue with the phone.
                                  But hardware issue is reported by the apple service team. I have kept the iphone as the people keep the precious things but al in vain. They are cheating the people by demanding the lot of money.
                                  Now the service team is demanding 35000s, spending 62000s they want more to get it repair. Please stop cheating the people. We are giving our hard money to you, please value it. Service team charged 1600rs for just seeing the phone issue.
                                  Please i am the middle class people can't spend 35000 rs to repair if your genuine people please help.

                                    Iphone 7 audio is not working after the latest software update.
                                    . We contacted apple support, still, we haven't received any solution.
                                    . They suggested all the possible solution but nothing worked.
                                    . Support guys suggested it should be a software problem and some engineer is working on the solution.
                                    . Now they stopped following it up and we don't know what to do.
                                    . Apple should be held responsible for this.
                                    . Give me the fix for this issue or replacement.
                                    . Its out of warranty. But software glitch is not my problem.

                                    You should check if your phone falls in this, and fight for it .
                                    I am facing the same issue, and haven't received a replacement from Apple yet.

                                      Hi i phone team,

                                      I know that i phone featured with ip67 feature in i phone 8 plus which is water resistance and with stand in water in 1 meter inside/30 min.

                                      I took the phone to imagine (I care) they mentioned its featured with ip67 but water damage generally they do the replacement of the phone there is no service and if we need to change complete motherboard we need to replace which cost for 40k which is too high for me to pay and use.

                                      If this was the condition then why i phone using ip67?
                                      What's the use of it why they mention iphone 8 plus is water resistance

                                      Now my phone is 1 and half year and not under warranty/ insurance i need to know what can be done for this issue.

                                        I have bought iphone xs for 1 lakh and got a defective piece. As it is under apple policy of refund under 14 days of purchase and i being eligible for that, still denying the refund. Have i spent 1 lakh in apple product to buy crying yelling agony and traumatize situation on me? Have i spent my hard earned money for this feeling. I don't want that phone in my life anymore.
