Regarding ASUS TUF GAMING F15 FX566LI (as indicated on the box) with i7-10870H processor and 8 GB RAM. Complaint is after using it for over four months.

Model number indicated as FX566LI on the box, but detected as FX506LI. ASUS website also does not have any drivers available for the model FX566LI but only for the model FX506LI.

Results in "DPC Watchdog Violation" error if source of power is changed between switching off/hibernation and switching it on again. To explain, if we hibernate or switch off the laptop while using battery, we have to switch it on again only on battery. Similarly, if we switch off the laptop while connected to the mains, then we have to switch it on only when connected to the mains. Else, we get “DPC Watchdog Violation” error!

The keyboard is a full-size keyboard and includes the number pad. The mouse pad is centred on the laptop. Result - the right thumb is almost always on the mouse pad while we are typing. This makes touch typing of the keyboard a lot more difficult with several mouse clicks or cursor drags during the typing. Also, keyboard does not have ‘Num Lock’ key lock indicator. Need to press any number key to know the status of the 'Num Lock' key. Many a time, the cursor moves to a different location when 'Num Lock' is off and it becomes difficult to come back to the place where we are editing a long document written by others.

Speakers and in-built microphone array are very bad. Need to speak to the microphone at a distance of about 6 cm to be heard. Can't be used for calls without connecting an external headset.

Warranty is not easy and costly. Available only in USD and not in local currency!

For your kind information, Few laptops models are having different name In box ..
for example I have asus vivobook 15 R542UQ which is written in box, but actual model is X542UQ which is detected in BIOS and on windows os.. so I update drivers from X542UQ asus website.

        I purchased an ASUS VivoBook 14 from flipkart on 10th june 2020.After two months, soon after I switch on the laptop the screen is getting freezed.The cursor is not even moving, it is stuck in one place, the keyboard also stops working.The only thing I can do with this laptop is to hold the power button for atleast 30 sec to shutdown the system forcefully.Even after restarting the system I face the same issue.I tried to reach ASUS customer care but they were unable to attend my call due to limited or poor staffs in the early pandemic days. Finally I got connected to them last month and they initiated an onsite service .After the service, I am facing the same issue with my laptop.
        I am a student, using the laptop only for browsing and reading pdf files.I am not a rough user too.I dont even use the laptop daily.I use laptop once or twice in a week, that too not for more than 1 hour.then why i m getting such issues on a brand new laptop.
        Due to your insufficient staffs I got denied my consumer rights.Now my warrenty is going to end.ASUS left my problem unsolved for months.
        I dont want this laptop anymore.asus is doing fraud.i need my refund or I need a replacement of the same product.

            I have bought the asus vivobook 14 laptop ultra in flipkart on a month ago, exactly on april 1. The laptop was perfect at its conditions. Also its performance also so good. after some couple of weeks, when i was in a online meeting, i found that mic isnt working after loading the page it was resolved. then i thought that it might be some website issue. then it continued for many times. due to pandamic situation, i find difficult to resolve it in a service centre. but i thought of raising complaint in this manner. without even a year, im facing such a issue and i bought this laptop without anyones wish even my parents, so i cant handle this situation. please do respond or say some solutions. i even have a warrenty tooo. hope you reply. i also add up a image of my issue.

              I have an ASUS mobile AZZJ01. i gave my mobile to F1 info Solution & services Pvt. Ltd. in Anna Salai, chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (asus authorised service center) for service. My mobile have two USB charging port. One of the port got fault but another port was working fine. I gave the phone to repair the faulty USB port. but the service centre made the main to board to short circuit due to negligence. At first they asked for 800 but now they asking me to change the main board cost rs 30, 000 and made my mobile to dead condition. i need my mobile back with the same working condition while giving at the time of service. I still now not got my mobile back. i have the service form with me. if I am not getting my mobile back with same working condition. i will file Consumer complaint in court.

                  Dear sir,
                  I have an ASUS gaming FX505DT laptop purchased on 20.102.2020.
                  Its left hinge is making a cracking sound on opening or closing the laptop.
                  It is also noticed that the laptop does not close properly as the left side of the closed screen remains up while the right side of the closed screen fits snugly.
                  Please, do what is required in this context.

                        I have complained it more than 4 times in service center.

                        As I am complaining again and again through mail, customer care centres and also in Asus service centres for the same issue. Same problem I am facing again Laptop shut down automatically when we are working.
                        When we had faced the same issue previously you said there is no hardware issue, so could you please clarify why our Laptop shutdown automatically without any warning and also please mention in mail why we are facing the same issue though Laptop is repaired by the customer care centre.

                        Could you please explain how I can handle all these issues with a newly purchased laptop.
                        Please reply to the same mail If you are not able to take responsibility please let me know then we will go for another option.

                        Please change my Laptop within 15 days otherwise I will go for legal action.

                        As per your services I am mentally harassed by you guys I am already paid all amount and I am also pay Installment every month through credit card it's hard for me to take pain.

                                I have a ASUS TUF504 laptop which I purchased 2 years back and is still in warranty. It started within 5 months of purchase like first it was getting over heated even while watching movies and no apps running in background, Its soo called "anti-dust" fans were full of dust. Then the screen got soo lose that it started shaking even with a blow from your mouth and started falling, after that things got even worse. In a month laptop shut down in the middle of my work and never turned on, I had to sent it to repair to the service center where they took almost 3 weeks to fix it and after coming back in a month the charger stopped working, later again with the laptop shutting down on its own and not turning back on even after repair for 1 week at service center it happened again just 2 weeks later.
                                I am sick and tired of getting repairs every month. I have received a defective piece and want immediate replacement. I have a job and need to have a nice working laptop I can't trust this one I have already suffered a great loss and unable to work because of this. I want my issue to be resolved immediately without any delay otherwise I'll have to take actions against it. My laptop is still under warranty and has no water or external damage. I can't imagine if I am facing soo much trouble right now how much will I face after my warranty expires. This is soo disappointing and I will never purchase an ASUS product ever again and recommend others the same.

                                  Grievance Details

                                  I would like to put forward the harassment I have been facing by ASUS company and their service centre. Since the purchase of the laptop in July 2020 (i.e., 6 months ago), it has been in the service centre for over two and a half months. I was provided with a faulty product and after multiple emails and calls to ASUS, I was denied any kind of compensation or replacement of the product. I am currently an engineering student and I had bought the laptop for my academic purposes and part times jobs to earn some money for expenditures.

                                  I made the purchase of this laptop during the COVID-19 Pandemic and therefore arranging money for the same was tremendously difficult for me as my father didn’t have any source of income then. Since then because of the pathetic service and support I have faced a number of loses academically as well as financially. I would request a replacement of the laptop or a complete refund considering my situation. The detailed information is as follows and all the supporting documents are attached along.                                   The Purchase and Initial Problems (23 July 2020):

                                  I had purchased the laptop from OXYGEN, THE DIGITAL SHOP, on 23 July 2020 along with an ASUS branded Backpack a total purchase worth Rs. 1, 07, 300 (The bill is attached below.). I started facing an issue with the laptop’s Wi-Fi connection from the next day of purchase. The laptop would frequently disconnect, offer below 1 Mbps speed on a 40 Mbps home network. Also on reaching home from the store I noticed that the ASUS branded Backpack was torn on one side. I called Prashant Xavier, ASUS Sales Executive at OXYGEN, THE DIGITAL SHOP and explained to him the problems. The executive denied that the Wi-Fi issue calling it impossible to occur and clearly denied the replacement of the product. On telling him about the damaged backpack sold to me denied the replace of that too and asked me to use the damaged product.

                                  1st Service (10 October 2020):

                                  After being fed-up with the inferior internet speed, I was forced to take a Service. The laptop was taken to the service centre multiple times and each time the service centre would say it’s fixed on delivery the problem would still persist. It took more than 1 month to fix the Wi-Fi, and within that time frame, I was told that it is fixed 5 times. The Wi-Fi card used in the laptop by default was a faulty one and the Service team never accepted my claim on the same. The Laptop’s Wi-Fi problem was finally fixed after more than 10 emails sent by me. The laptop was returned to me on 31 October 2020.

                                  (New Problem started, Random Shut Downs) 1 November 2020

                                  The next day onwards after the laptop was returned to me from the service centre another problem started that is, that laptop would simply shut down without any reason or cause. It would happen randomly at any point of time or while using any application and at times this would happen even if the system was idle.

                                  After this shut down I could check in the Windows inbuild application called Event Viewer about the reason for the last Crash/Shut down. Every time the reason was the same, the information obtained is as follows :

                                  Since then I didn’t report the problem for the next three months because of the pathetic service offered last time. By that time the same incident has happened over 1000 (One Thousand) Times. But I was forced to report it on 04 February 2021 as this incident had terribly affected my studies and projects I was working on. This incident would destroy the project without any trace of retrieval.

                                  2nd Service (04 February 2021):

                                  The Laptop was again taken to the service centre for repair on 4th February 2021. It took them 1 month to fix the issue. In that 1 month, I had lost a lot of work and facilities for my studies. On 26 February 2021, the laptop was returned to me with 100% assurity from the service centre that the problem is completely fixed and that the incident would never repeat again.

                                  The Problem occurred again (27 February 2021):

                                  In just 24 hours o[censored]se the same problem to which I had asked service occurred twice.

                                  On checking Windows Event the reason was the same, the information obtained is as follows :

                                  For over 6 months I’ve been facing some or the other kind of issues with the laptop. This clearly states that I was provided with a faulty and defective product and I’ve been highly harassed by the ASUS Company. I request a speedy action to the same as this incident has highly affected my engineering studies and brought me to serious financial difficulties.

                                    Asus is just a fraud company, they are just a greedy company with lack of initiatives to support consumers. I just bought laptop G532lws-h127 offline.Problem that I am going through is that the laptop is getting really hot above 95 degree temperature. So I logged a complaint and asked for replacement. Next day technical team came checked and found the issue also taken proof of it. But after waited for 3days they are now telling me to bring the laptop in service center as they need to check for few days. My laptop is just 7 days old and when I have the option for replacement why they are harrasing me. Even buying from online like Flipkart and Amazon they provide 1month time for replacement or refund.

                                        The worst service possible in mankind. Thats sums their ### up! They keep escalating when you call and thats the last you will ever hear. Buy a different phone/laptop or whatever from any other brand. If you buy ASUS, forget their CUSTOMER service.
