for repairing notebook, asking for charges even notebook is in warranty period

Since last one month, i am facing problem with this notebook. When i switch on laptop, it start heating because cooling fan is not working properly.
After some time, this notebook become slow in processing and sometime it feels like this will blast because of heating. I have contacted Asus...

I bought an asus laptop for 1, 50, 000 18 months back. Its screen started malfunctioning and i took the laptop to service centre. They advised screen replacement for 25k and i accepted. However now they have refused to provide spare part and asked me to take the laptop back. It is duty of the company to provide to spare parts for atleast 5 years after product launch. But asus india is refusing the same.

Service center doesn't work properly and costumer care service doesn't reply and left chat without any information

      I bought asus apwu001 mobile charger from flipkart on mar 23rd 2019. The description as well as package was clearly mentioning 6months warranty. So few days ago it stopped working. As it was having 5 months warranty remaining. I went to asus service center bhagalpur to claim warranty. Where they denied warranty on my product. They told me that they don't give warranty on asus accesories bought from flipkart. I have even registered product on asus website. 5 months warranty is remainig. They dont even checked or examined charger.. They just told me that they won't see it because i have bought it from flipkart.       I have been trying to contact asus aswell as flipkart but no responce.

      Replace my adaptor as it's still in warranty and there is no physical damage. Asus service center can't just simply denied warranty without even seeing it. They are scamming by not giving any services on product after selling it even if it is under warranty period.

        My mobile was given for repair which has warranty. So i had been told that mobile repair will take 3-4 days. I have given my mobile on[protected] having rma no inawk40153. Its status has not changed up todate. I want my mobile repaired and given back to me as quickly as possible. I have called them many times (Almost every day) but they always tell that repair part has not come so they could not repair yet.

              I had updated my asus zenfone max pro m2 to android pie after official announcement by asus. Immediately after the update was completed, screen was started flickering... I browse the internet for solution, but negative.
              Finally, i gone through the asus service care in vijayawada, krishna-520008, andhra pradesh, india. They degraded my firmware to android oreo and given me.

              Now i am facing the "lag issue..." while playing games and bruising internet.

              Please, checkout this problem and give me a better solution.

                Dear sir i purchase a new phone asus zenfone max pro m2 on[protected].in this phone major issue like battery drain, screen freezing, touch issue heating issue and the biggest problem in camera when i contact to asus they said they will fix it by providing fota update after few day i get a new update when i update issue do not resolve they will provide only security patch after that again i contact asus india they again said we will provide you pie update very soon and we will fix all the bugs and problem don't worry again. The ceo of asus india promise that they will push the update of pie before 15 april 2019, and i get the update on 11th april by updating my phone it will restart again and again and the same problem is there after the update i think asus india not doing their job they are fooling the customer after many try i feel hopeless then i contact to consumer complain helpline and writing a complaint against asus india. I want that asus india take my phone and give me my money back because phone in under warranty condition so they are not improving the service i want from government of india to compensate my money because asus india giving so much trouble so they should provide compensation only hope from government of india, and dear sir i provide some screenshots or video of asus india twitter page everyone complaining that they are not providing good software and value of money for that product if you want to check you can also so check asus india twitter page then use know the truth of asus india.

                  I purchased a ZenFone 5Z in August 2018. It got first complaint on December as the sim not detected by the phonefollowed with same complaint repeated 6 times so far and one time cause physical damage to the phone by service center. Still company is not providing replacement / extend warranty . I faced uncountable loss as I am using my phone for my official use as well.

                    I bought my ROG Asus Strix Gl503GE-(EN169T) gaming laptop just two months ago. And already it went to the service centre two times. I am shocked that a brand new laptop bought just two months ago has already had two visits in the service centre. Now let me explain the issues. At first there was extreme coil whine problem. The sound was very irritating. There was no way which i knew of that could stop it or atleast decrease it's volume. We bought our last laptop 8 years ago and it had become very important to get a new one has the old one (also an asus) had become outdated and was very slow. But the coil whine in the new Asus Strix made doing work quietly almost impossible. So i had to use headphones ALL the time. Coil whine wasn't an issue while playing games because of the high fan speed. My gaming experience with this laptop was good for the first two weeks. Although the performance I was getting was a bit lower than I was supposed to as i had checked similar benchmarks online, I neglected this because I felt I could deal with the minor performance issues. Also the coil whine was less than before so i was happy and thought it will lessen with usage. Themperatures stayed around 75-78° C and although it was hot, there was not thermal throttling (atleast for now). Soon I noticed that the performance fluctuated on a very large scale while playing games after more than 30 minutes. I couldn't find where the issue was. I reinstalled my games but it still didn't fix. I noticed that if i continued playing after the performance decreased ( frame rates dropped in games) the drops in frames became more and more frequent untile finally they would drop from 120-130 straight to 25-35 and not rise again. I noticed that the laptop was running hot. Temperatures were around 88-97 °C on all cores and the laptop was thermal throttling causing the cpu to lower it's clock speed from 3.8GHz to 2.7-2.9 Ghz. I sent the laptop to the service centre close to my home and told them about the issue. They kept the laptop for three days after which i told them to immediately return it in whichever state it was because of these reasons. 1. I needed it urgently as i had to fill up forms, print some documents, and give mock tests. 2. I told them there was a heating issue which caused the huge drop in performance. They reset the pc and when i asked them if they had fixed it, they said they could not find any problem. They reset the pc without even running the games that were on it to check why the laptop was getting a hit in performance. They just simply reset it without any reason not knowing where the issue was. When i told them the laptop was running very hot under load(88-97°C) in just under 20 minutes o[censored]sage, they said they had some games and would run them in it check for the issue soon. I realised just how good technicians they were when a customer(me) pinpointed the problem himself the they couldn't and moreover they reset it just like that, without even knowing where the problem was. How can overheating be solved by resetting a pc? Moreover they kept it for 3 days and still said that they would look for the problem. How could they find the problem if there wasn't anything on the pc to check for the problem as they had erased everything without thinking even once.

                    I also noticed that they were very inexperienced. They had taken out the HDD for some reason and forgot to put it back. Luckily when i recieved the laptop i turned it on to check everything and saw that the hdd was not inside as "This pc" showed only the ssd. They took it back again only to return it after making me wait for 15 more minutes. I took it back home reinstalled all softwares i had before and my games and to my utter shock they performance was even worse due to some reason. Even after just turning the laptop on when the temperature was not so high the frame rates i was getting were around 30 which i had previously got after temps rose to 88-97°C . I was utterly disappointed and very shocked and realised that giving my laptop to the service centre was a huge mistake and buying an Asus laptop in the first place was the biggest blunder i had done. Because of my exams i was not playing games so i let the issue be for a few days. But one day when switched on the laptop i noticed that the keyboard wasn't working although it was a few hours ago. I could type in the password but after getting in the keyboard just wouldn't work. I restarted it a few times but it didn't solve the issue. So i thought of resetting it and fortunately resetting the pc fixed the keyboard problem. Another problem which was fixed was the constant dip in performance the laptop had taken after brought it back from the service centre. Instead of starting straight from 25fps in games it would give 60-70 then dip to 20-25 later due to the thermal throttling issue which still persisted and was NOT FIXED BY THE SERVICE CENTRE. Temps would still be over 90°C on all cores under load and 60-65°C on idle.

                    I decided to give the laptop to a different service centre after my exams but unfortunately a new problem suddenly came up. The battery was not charging when plugged in. I tried a different source but still it wouldn't charge. I said PLUGGED IN, NOT CHARGING. And the battery kept dropping. I tried to look for solutions on the internet. I updated battery drivers, tried switching it on and off, uninstalled and reinstalled battey driver. ( These were solutions as per the internet and these had worked in case of most of the people facing this issue.) But in my case nothing worked. I did not want to fiddle with BIOS as i had no knowledge of it and it would have only worsened the condition. Lastly i tried resetting the pc which was the last resort as it had solved the keyboard not working issue last time. But unfortunately the reset failed and when i tried to get into windows in wouldn't let me. I tried self repair and troubleshoot and reset pc options provided on a blue screen but none of them worked. So i had to give it to the service centre as i had no other option. I wouldn't open it wouldn't charge.

                    Lastly as i explained everything to the technician in this other service centre just like i explained it here, i asked if he had a benchmarking software. I asked him multiple times and he didn't give any answer. Or maybe he couldn't. I asked if they had FurMark, 3D mark or CPU-Z or any other software to test the pc and he said no they didn't.

                    It seems Asus hires inexperienced people in its service centres. If i had known that Asus provided such horrible after sales service i would never have bought a laptop from them. Another thing from the first service centre which is to be noted is that- there was this pdf which was present in the 'desktop' of my laptop. It was named "csc_report" . I opened it to see what it was and to my surprise it had this-

                    FurMark test - 0 times

                    Time spent - 59seconds.
                    These and a few other infos which i dont remember. Rhey were alpha numeric strings resembling what i dont know. But one thing was clear. The technician from the first service centre hadn't tested the laptop and they lied to me and wrote all tests passed no issues found on a paper that is the proof of me lodging a complaint in the service centre regarding my laptop.

                    A few things which are crystal clear are that Asus Service Centres are run by people who are highly incapable of servicing laptops. They can fool people who have little or no knowledge regarding computer software and hardware. And Asus itself makes faulty product. It's products are flawed and have little or no longevity. Complete wastage of money. I would not recommend anyone to buy any product from Asus. Their phones are the worst products they make. This i know as i spoke to a few people(2 people with same issue in asus m1 phone) while sitting in the service centre and they said that their phones were submitted for over a week and still were not fixed. My motorola phone (although very faulty) had to go to the service centre once and came back in 2 days. This proves how incapable the technicians are. It is entirely Asus' fault.

                    Regarding my laptop, i will not accept a laptop which had to the service centre 2 times in two months and which comes packed with so many problems. Rs66990 is the amount i paid for it and the product i received is not worth the money i paid.
                    What i want is the faulty product replaced with a newer one. I will not accept this faulty laptop. God only knows how many times it may have to go the service in the next few months. I don't want such a headache. I want MY LAPTOP REPLACED WITH ONE IN PROPER WORKING CONDITION.

                    Below I'm providing a photo as proof of the thermal issue. Idle temps resemble min temps and max temps are recorded during gaming.
                    This photo was taken after i brought it back the first time from the service centre and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with my laptop.
                    Also it has been taken after just 15minutes of gaming and 5minutes of idle. Min temps resemble idle temps and max temps resemble temps under load.

                    The software used is : CORE TEMP

                    Laptop was in an air conditioned room. With the little knowledge of laptops i have i know that idle temps for laptops in an air conditioned room is around 35-40°C. My friend also has a powerful laptop and these are his temps while using in air conditioned room.

                    Since Asus service centre was unable to fix my issue I'm liable to a replacement according to their own policy.

                    Asus gaming centre app was crashing so unfortunately i couldn't record temps from it. Gamefirst V also crashes and brightness control from Aura core doesn't work. These were some minor( don't affect performance but still shouldn't be there) errors which i have faced in this laptop.

                    Issue still not resolved even after returning from service centre twice in two months. Battery shows plugged in not charging. Cpu clock speed is stuck at 796 MHz when base clock is 2.3Ghz and boost clock is 3.8Ghz. This should not happen. Battery is only discharging and not charging. Because of this games are not running as they should even on lowest possible graphic settings. My laptop specs are well above minimum system requirements. Also technician is saying battery not charging issue is normal lagging is normal. If every problem on their Laptop is normal then why does ASUS sell laptops? What use is a gaming laptop which cannon run games? Utterly disappointed. They are harassing me continuously and saying problem is in the game and not in the laptop after being unable to fix the issue twice. Asus does not deserve our hard earned money. Shame on Asus for such horrible service and shame on their employees for harassing us customers. I feel very sad after getting such service because it feels my money has gone to waste. I bought this laptop for 66990/- which is a very big amount. It is my earnest advise to everyone to not buy Asus products any further.

                    I have studied your problems, I knew reset is not a solution for small problems.

                        I had bought asus zenbook worth 77000 on 19 oct 2018 from asus dealer at jaipur. As per the diwali offer, on deposit of additional 999, a seagate hdd could be asked for which i did.
                        Till date he hdd has not been received. The customer service of asus is pathetic. They just make you roam around in circles as they themselves are not clear. Some one would redirect to redemption team, when you reach redemption they would send you to support team but no one would address and resolve.

                          4g is stopped working after updating to latest firmware.

                          I called my network provider, check my sim and network and have no problem. They said 100% is your phone have problem.
                          Suggested me to put my sim card to other phone then its work, pick up 4g straight away. I put my other sim card to my asus phone and won't work and won't pick up 4g.
                          I am having the same problem since the last october 2018 update. I emailed asus and they said they weren't aware of a problem. I sent screenshots, they can't fix it. I will have no option to stop using asus products in the future.

                          Please resolve the problem quick

                            I am a student pursuing architecture, 4th year, from ggsipu, delhi. I purchased this expensive notebook from my parents' savings as my field requires the usage of heavy softwares. This laptop has been giving problems since day one. Just after 4 months from purchase, it's motherboard crashed and had to be replaced. Ever since it has been overheating and crashing. I am unable to use any basic software, without it crashing. I have taken it to the service centre 4 times in the last 1 year. The problem with the laptop is that it overheats and begins to throttle which results in the crashing of the softwares. Despite having explained the problem, the service centre just reinstalls the windows and returns the notebook saying there's no other problem. Every time i go through the pain of reinstalling all my softwares and taking backup again and again just to land up with the same problem again! No one here is able to fix it's hardware and just knows how to reinstall the windows! It's been 1 year going through this problem and wasting my time and energy in trying to get it fixed, or as per what they do, reinstallation of windows. Visiting the service centre every month is tiring! I request you to replace this notebook, asap, so that i can prepare for my ongoing submissions.

                            I have uploaded 2 files showing the throttling of my notebook while using and without using a software. And one photo after running a benchmark software where the results show that the performance of my i7-7th gen is worse than an i7-3rd gen

                            sorry for the bad experience, Did you overclocked the processor Ghz using any overclock software.
                            Did you applied latest bios firmware and intel microcode update .

                              Dear sir/mam. I have bought a laptop with device name laptop - rbnpmvk9 from tej computer, ranchi one and half month ago. Now i am facing problems that while working it's screen bifurcate and start vibrating. It's occur 2 to 5 times daily. Suddenly become slow... So i m requesting you to take proper action or try to refund my money and take back your products.
                              It is not user friendly.. It's total mind wash of tej computer sales man to buy such a useless product letting me total wastage of money..

                                I had bought an asus laptop extended warranty on 26.09.2018 from http://www.asuspromo.in/ during the offer period and paid inr 2000 for the same. When contacted them over email "[protected]@asuspromo.in", got confirmation email from asus that i will receive the warranty extension code by 16.01.2019. But since then, i have tried calling them on "[protected]", but they never pick up the call and don't even respond to the emails sent to them on "[protected]@asuspromo.in". Therefore request you to kindly look into this matter.

                                I haven't received any communication from Asus India customer support even after filing the complain, kindly escalate the issue.

                                  When a technician from your side came in person and checked the mobile, he didn't register a complaint.. He just said that the model quality itself was poor and left... But later when we checked with asus certified service centre, they acknowledged that the handset was faulty and i have also attached their statement for your perusal... I request a complete refund or a way to order some other phone as replacement even if it's costing more...

                                    Respected sir/ madam,
                                    I have purchased asus n300 rt n14u hp wireless - 3-in-1 router/ap/range extender (Black) from amazon.in and following dealer on 28-aug-2016.
                                    "the peripheral store
                                    No. 67 b noombai village poonamallee high road chennai - 600077
                                    Tamilnadu india ([protected]@theperipheralstore.in)".
                                    Vat : [protected]
                                    As it stopped working i sent to authorized repair center in pune i. E. "rashi peripheral, terling centre, m. G. Road, pune ([protected]@rptechindia.com)". They confirm that it is warranty and i will get replacement. After that "rashi peripheral" asked me to get replacement from "the peripheral store" and denied replacement from asus india. However the "the peripheral store" denied replacement as they said repairs and replacement are handled by service center.
                                    I request you to look into this matter and help me get replacement.

                                      I received new asus zenfone max pro 1 via flipkart on 16th oct 2018.
                                      Warranty expiry till 10th oct, 2019.

                                      On 30th dec, 2018 phone stopped working. (Approx. 42 days old)

                                      Submitted to asus service centre in pimpri, pune, maharashtra.
                                      Received call from them next day saying that phone is completely dead & none of its part working &
                                      Repairing expenditure will come more than the buying price.
                                      (Buying price 12999/- & repairing charges 17000/-)

                                      I requested them not to repair & to return back.

                                      One fine day, on 11th jan, 2019 (After 10 days) plugged phone for charging & amazingly it started working fine & till date working smoothly.

                                      Now the question arises: how genuine are service centre authorized by asus?

                                      Today on 22nd feb i was checking my phone's warranty & i was surprised to know that my phone is no more under warranty. : (

                                      If as per service centre my phone was completely dead then how come it started working fine without any repair?

                                      Went back to same service centre & told them the entire story & requested them to continue warranty of my phone but they disagreed.

                                      I request asus india to give back warranty of my phone or else many will stop buying your asus products.
