Hi,
I write to express my displeasure against an axis bank employee. Her name is debanjana and the branch concerned is the chinsurah branch. I maintain a savings account with this branch. She tricked me and raised an application for a credit card on my behalf. Whereas, all the time, she continued to tell me that she's actually cancelling out the credit card offer that's in my name.
I trusted her until one fine day, i received a statement from axis bank with charges for joining the credit card. The statement was dated sep 15, 2020 and it carried a charge of inr 590. This was ridiculous because i received a charge for a credit card that i did not ask for and did not even receive.
When i called debanjana back about this, she refused to accept the issue. Rather, she turned abusive and told me if i wanted i could just close my account with the bank. I have decided to close my savings account with the axis bank chinsurah account, following this conversation with her. However, i would request some strong action to be taken against her, because this is not the type of treatment one would expect from a bank employee.
