Dear Sir,

I purchased Bajaj Kristal (Frame # 16403, Engine # 16535) on 11/07/2007. Right from the 2nd free service the silencer has been giving problems. The authorized Bajaj service centre, Baroda Auto Centre, Sama, Vadodara suggested that the silencer needs to be replaced and assured that since, the vehicle in under warranty the same shall be replaced free of cost. In the subsequent services I was told that the spare part (silencer) is in short supply and should be available within a months time. It is now almost more than 8 months and the silencer has not been replaced. Every time the service centre gives us only assurances that they will do the needful in a short course of time. However, no concrete measures are being taken. I am totally disatisfied with the service.

I would therefore urge you to look into this matter and do the needful at the earliest so that this problem is sorted out before the warranty lapses.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I am very happy with your product bajaj Pulsar 150cc, but due to very poor service after salse i decided to shift from bajaj produce, because from where i drop my byke for servicing, the staff is very inefficient, they not doing anythig only change the oil & a little wash(oncomplet), and this time they add the previous amount of bill in this bill, they told me your last payment was dur, but last time i pay full amount, after that i again go there for battery check up and this time also they charge me for engine oil change, very non-sence peoples & the system as well, please take a action on this, The service centre name is Shri Seva BAJAJ @ wakdewadi, Pune. I am very much unsatisfied with the service & treatment from these peoples. I will submit this to other auto companies as well if you not take any action.

      i have face same problem in Shri Seva BAJAJ @ wakdewadi, on 25/08/09.
      they not doing anythig only change the oil & a little wash(oncomplet), compani has given these authorised service centers on which basis?

      one thing i have to mention that i have told them for coating to my bike.but they didnt do coating and saying coating has done after some arguments thay done it.

        I have taken Bajaj pulsr 150 bike 2months ago. Front wheel tube nech got problem within 2 months and i changed with new tube. After changing the tube i am getting front wheel wobbling problem...

        When i told the same to dealer they are not able to find the problem only, , , (OR they are not ready to accept the problem which they already know it seems)

        If you got any solution for this plz share with me...

          I have problem about ur ecs system.i changed my ecs account on 22/11/2008 my proposal no.is [protected].The guy i had submitted my documents for changing ecs is Mr.Ajay kumar and his employ id is 66621.He just told me that you have to pay december emi by cash.Then again when i went to pay cash emi he told me you have to pay the emi 15 days earlier from your emi date.The guy hasn't give me the proper information.If he provided me proper information at the time when i came earlier, that time i can pay my december emi.Now my december installment was rejected due to that guy.what should i do now?

            I purchased this vehicle on 02/01/07 and done one year free service at Bajaj authorised service centre. The vehicle warranty is for 2 yrs. After free services around 6 paid services are also done at authorised centre. Nowthe silencer is fully rusted and corroded. When approached the company for the warranty replacement they are asking so many things which I wont be able to produce. Kindly help to get a solution and warranty replacement of that particular part (silencer)

            my bajaj discover bike have a chain socket problem
            There are many problems with Bajaj Discover 125 cc like chain socket problem, silencer is rusted in 16 months and engine problems... and many more to mention.. Think before anybody buy the Bajaj Discover bike

            i have purchased Bajaj Discover 125 CC last 3 yesrs back. With in the 3 years not faced any problems from my byke. But the silencer is not working properly. Silencer cost is very high. within the 3 years that much of cost is impossible.

              As i bought a Bajaj Pulsar 150cc in Bangalore through Bajaj Finance and i have cleared the money on Oct 19 2008 nearly i have paid close to Rs.20, 000 and i have my account, my bike number is KA-02 EY 5751.They said within 45 days wil issue the NOC and its been already 2 months and still they are not given the NOC when ever u go to the Bajaj Finance office they not responding.Plese Kindly do the needfull.

                I have taken a loan against a vehicle purchase i.e. Bajaj Pulsor 150 DTSi, in April-08. Unfortunately, that was stolen from Noida on 23-Aug-08, whose FIR was lodged in the same period. To claim the insurance money from the concern company, I require the NOC from your organization. Matter has been pending from sep-15 to till date. I have got my FR(final report) against the theft, but due to non availability of NOC, I am not able to execute the claim process. Further delay will cross the insurance period. Now I have decided to register a case in consumer court. I do have enough evidences for the case. Please act to avoid the same.

                At the time o[censored]nwanted, unwelcomed conditiones like terrorist attacks, economical slowdown, and rotton politics, when we, the common public, spread the massage o[censored]nity, brotherhood by saying that we should buy and use only indian product, may be of grocceries, auto, or service, it is very shameful that they are running business in such a manner .
                ...What a blow !!!

                Now being a responsible indian citizen, i condemened their unprofessional attitude and raising the issue to get it noticed with hope that truth and honesty will prevail...

                  i have purchased bajaj avenger bike last month, then i call the service center karol bagh delhi and i hve take appointment that i have come in morning at 8 a:m because i hve to reach noida to my college at 9:30, the mam which give appointment say that our advisior or the concern person reach at my time(shushil) but m waitng that person at 8:45 and nobody come. These such kind of service give by the bajaj and u dont have the value of customer time.Then i reach college i call the mam anh tell us about the whole story, mam says that the concern person will be late, i told to mam forget everything pls give me the time on that day at 4 O'clock mam then man says i will give next week, then i told pls give me the manager number then the mam cuts the phone...
                  this is the worst crm i hve never seen

                    i have purchased a bike (Bajaj platina 100cc) from Deedi automobiles Trivandrum, Kerala. Their proposed milage was 109 km/litre the dealers assured a milage of minimum 70- 80 km/litre.. But before first service i got about 40-46 km both in city ride and highways. But after second service(8/11/08)i am getting only an average of 33 km/litre.

                    The dealer only can solve your problem give it to him in writting and a copy to the sales division of Bajaj company and even if the problem is not soved then approach the consumer court nearest to your place of residence.

                      My boss has a bajaj bike that is pulsur 180 cc. it was purchased near abour seven or eight months ago and kilometer covered near about 8500. one horn of the bike is not working and i want to replaced it under warranty bcoz my vehicle is under warranty.                         I had purchased a Bajaj CT-100 during the year-2004 and the vehicle was under hypothecation to Bajaj Finance. Although I have foreclosed the outstanding loan. I had to run from one office to the other (dealer to Bajaj finance head office at Bangalore) for obtaining an NOC for cancellation of hypothecation. I have been adjudged as one of the best customers of Bajaj Finance and yet all these harassment. The phone number of Bajaj Finance at Bangalore is not working or they may not be answering the calls. I also tried to access their official website, but to no avail. Will someone do something?

                          I have one Bajaj Platina purchase by your finanace in 2006 & paid all amount ( balance bounce cheque money collected by your collection agent Mr. Raju Pandey). but I have purchased which bajaj agency they were left and closed the agency weithout given RTO registration no. and RC Book when these charge are collected by me. Than we are unable to riding of bike . bike purchased and finance from, Mijarod, Allahabd, UP. Agency Person Mr. Raju Jaisawal

                          Kindly help us what should I do. I have talk with your agent they have told me already fax sent to Pune office you NOC & RC Book will be come soon.

                            Dear sir
                            I am an unfortunate guy reason I have an chetak wonder gear scooter DL 8S AF 1645 which I had purchased three years back and it rolled approx 6000 km only, it started giving trouble during shifting gear and also sometimes during driving. I always serviced from bagga link Rithala, Rohini, Delhi workshop.
                            As I went to Bagga Link to rectify they checked and told gear parts has to changed – but the parts is out of stock and when ever it will be available I will be informed, in the mean time many days passed I also enquired about the availability, after many days wait ultimately that parts arrived and I handed over the scooter to bagga link, ritala on 21.9.2008 and supposed to take delivery at the evening. I went to take delivery and was told one parts has been changed but the problem is not rectified and gearbox has to open and asked to deposit Rs.500 which I did, and also told that parts is not available now and may be available in 10-12 days, after 20 days or so I got call that gear box was opened one part has been changed and one more parts has to be changed that is not available and only god knows when that will be available. I was told that scooter is 95% ok take delivery and when parts will be available they will inform me,
                            I was not interested to take delivery of an incomplete work. I spoke to Mr. Satwal G.M Bagga Link, he spoke to the counterpart over phone and told me same thing that scooter is 95% o.k and better take delivery when parts will arrive they will inform me. I was not interested to take an incomplete unprofessional delivery from bajaj, but I went to the workshop, superviser gave me a short ride problem was there and I was told to pay Rs.1500, as I told why I should pay the amount when my scooter is not repaired properly what ever you have done is not my look out, I want only my scooter should come out of service center in 100%. I was told I have to pay or left behind the scooter for un specified number of days till parts arrive. It was 12.10.2008.
                            With such a frustration for so long time I decided to take delivery and kicked the scooter and drove about 1.5 K.M. IT was absolutely absolutely not in a position to drive at road it was giving big – big JHATKA– how come reputed bagga link confirmed me it is 95% ok. Scooter is lying at the Rithala any one can check my COMPLAIN.
                            As I was sick with the happenings I spoke to Mr.S.S.Yadav, Bajaj Spare parts division on 25.10.2008 he promised me to resolve my problem in weeks time and he called me on 05.11.2008 that the parts is available somewhere in Delhi . I requested him to pass on the message to bagga, Rithala. To my surprise when I called Rithala to day they told me that what Mr. Jadav has told is not the required parts. AACHA MAJAK HAI. Mr. Yadav doesnot have requisition for the required parts, may I help you in your internal job. AS YOU PEOPLE ARE NOT BOTHERED OF MY CASE.
                            REQUEST TO BAJAJ AUTO LIMITED – AS YOU PEOPLE STOPPED MANUFECTURING THIS MODEL AND PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE I AM SUFFERING MENTALLY FOR THIS FOR PAST THREE MONTHS FOR NO FAULT OF MINE, I DON’T KNOW WHEN MY SCOOTER WILL BE REPAIRED AND IN FUTURE IF ANY PARTS WILL BE REQUIRED THEN I WILL BE IN SOUP. PLEASE TAKE BACK THIS SCOOTER AND REPLACE ME WITH A MODEL WITH WHICH I WILL LIVE PEACEFULLY. I AM SERIOUS – PL. SEGGEST. FOR YOUR INFORMATION I HAD A BAJAJ SUPER WHICH I DROVE 1, 30, 000 WITHOUT ANY MENTAL TORTURE AS YOU ARE GIVING ME NOW. PL. REPLY ME IMMEDIATELY

                              Hi,

                              My name is Mitchelle and i had brought a dell laptop from this company Name Mx Information Systems P . Ltd.

                              My laptop amounted to Rs 39750 for which i had already paid
                              Rs750/- in cash and had very clearly informed this company Mx information that i only need a loan of Rs39000/- however this company went ahead and applied a loan for Rs40000/- on my behalf to bajaj finance and what EMI was informed to me initially was Rs3250/- however since my loan amt went up to Rs40000 my emi also increased to Rs3333/-

                              Which is not what was informed and agreed by me at the first place and the finance company has not given anything in writing and i have not received any loan document which states the amount of my Emi and my loan amount...

                              There has been absolutely no communication and they have not even intimated me as to when my first EMI would be withdrawn.

                              Bajaj finance company has attempt to withdraw the 1st Emi of Rs3333/- which is without my knowledge from my account on the 15th of november.

                              Please look into this if possible email me if you have any information of bajaj auto finance.

                              I deeply regret to inform you that even after foreclosure of my Two wheeler Loan pertaining to my Loan Account Number 26973 ( Vehl Number : TN 58 N 9482 ) so far I have not received NOC letter from M/s.Bajaj Auto Finances Ltd.

                              My loan was with your Madurai branch and I have forclosured loan by 21.10.2008 remitting loan amount in the form of Demand Draft of SBI bearing DD number 00109344.

                              Eventhough I contacted your madurai office several times over phone as well as to my several visits to your Madurai office in person also till date neither I received NOC letter nor proper reply of confirming the date "when I will be issued NOC letter " so far.

                              I think no one takes response to the customers complaints...

                              and I dont know how long it will take or when i will get the "NOC"?...hope, you will understand my contents of this mail and arrange for sending me the NOC letter immediately...

There EMI is of 2213 for 3 yrs for the amt of 40000.They don't have good service at all.No docs from there side.they r introducing there emi twice a month before intimating us.They told that insurance cover is there but not sending any docs.
                              There agents are also not helping in any aftersale service.Really pathetic!

                                Dear sir,

                                I am an MBA student.I have purchased Bajaaj Pulsar DTS-i from TCS Bajaj. Plot 63, Neelam Bata Road, N.I.T, faridabad Ph:[protected], fax:[protected] on 14th Feb. 2007. after that i have got three services done from there. but during my fourth service, i was not well for more than a week. so i could not get it serviced aon time. but when i went to the service center, they refused to do the third service and told me they would only do the fourth service. i requested them so many times and explained my situation. but did not listen to me. they even did not suggested me any solution. then i got my fourth service done. every time i explain to them the problems but i could see any improvement in those problems. last week i got a serious problem in my bike. its piston kit is creating sound. now since bajaj provides 5 years warranty, i went to get the problem checked. but now they they are saying my bike is not in warranty and i would have to pay for it. since i am doing MBA i dont have time to visit that service center again and again. but they people are not wiling to help me. Please advice.

                                Pulsar 150cc — Service Not Satisfactory

                                Hi,

                                I had given my bike for Servicing at Bajaj Service Center- Millenium Auto in Aundh Pune (Mr [censored]al Shah).
                                I was told the bike has been serviced properly and ready to take away.
                                When i reached the service center :
                                1. the silencer muffler changed was not original. It was already rusted and was clearly a refurbished one.
                                2. the right indicator lamp cover was not changed. (still the vehicle was ready. no checklist was done)
                                3. The vehicle started making prominent sound at the fuel tank. this was because of the front guard which was changed was touching the tank which made a vibration sound. (To remove this problem i had to visit the shop on next day where the shop owner is least bothered to look into the complaint. I had to myself ask for help from the boys and get the work done. Still the problem was not resolved completely. a temporary fix had been put in place.
                                4. Parts replaced like - bush, bearings etc were not logged anywhere on the Job Card. We were not given the old parts removed from the bike. So there is no confirmation that the parts are actually changed.
                                5. Bike is not at all properly washed as the knob where oil is refilled still had all the dust around it. The seat was not removed while cleaning the bike.

                                I hope that this complaint is taken up seriously. It is very difficult to track the development of the vehicle once it is given to the service centers. when we reach to collect the vehicle and have certain issues we are asked to come at a later date as there is no enough manpower.

                                I feel even after spending around 4000 for this service i am not at all satisfied with the way the customer is treated.

                                MILLENIUM AUTO (AUNDH) IS A CHEAT. HE OVERCHARGED ME (ALMOST DOUBLE) FOR SPARE PARTS. I COMPLAINED AT BAJAJ CUSTOMER CARE. THE PERSON GAVE SOME WEIRD EXCUSE FOR OVERCHARGING AND AGREED TO RETURN MY MONEY.
                                LATER I COME TO KNOW, MY SEVERAL BIKER FRIENDS HAVE BEEN CHEATED AND OVERCHARGED BY HIM. AND THEY NEVER WENT THERE AGAIN.
                                PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST.
                                I have to disagree with the above persons regarding the quality and the service of the said service center (Millennium Auto). I have for 1. Never been cheated. nor have had any complaints with the quality of the work done there. I have been a regular customer of my avenger for the past 1 1/2 yrs. the prices are according to the list and no excess charge is levied.

                                Bajaj Pulsar 150 dts — Lost my two wheeler

                                I lost my Vehicle in due course of half hour on Sunday, 25th Oct 2009 04.00 PM when it was parked in front of City Center shopping mall, MG ROAD, GURGAON. Kindly help me out for finding my lost vehicle, I will grateful to you.

                                  i have been a customer to bajaj for the last three years. i have a avenger-180.since the pro biking service opened in vijayawada(andhra pradesh) the service has been very poor. spares are never available in time to solve the problem and the quality of service has been really poor. they don't even wipe the bike after they water service it. i took the matter to the concerned service manager's but nothing has improved. i don't know if it's the case with vijayawada or all over bajaj, in an instance they even forgot to tighten the engine oil drain screw for a friend of mine (avenger-200) when the bike went for its first service couple of days ago.

                                  pls. inform me wer did i get, avenger spare parts, like chain spocket, ball raser, in calicut city there is kvr agencies they couldnt available avenger spare parts, pls, give which bajaj agency can suply avenger spares.
                                  Well if you are servicing your bike from them then all you have to do is write your complains in the form they give you after service. That form will go directly to bajaj and they will whip their asses.

                                  I never have any problem with my store here in Dehradun all the folks are corteous and work nicely. To be true I was once miffed with the guys who didn't polished it properly and I wrote that complaint and he was taken to task and of course appologies were offered to me.

                                    my self pankaj,
                                    I purchased pulser 180 cc DTS-i black from
                                    Vikrant automobiles meerut.The bike is under 5 year warrenty
                                    After 1 year the inner net of cylincer get rusted and producing
                                    noise, the services record of bike is up to the mark.
                                    I lodge a complaint regarding the cylincer ,In December
                                    Even after regular followup i dint get the cylincer replaced till now. And now it become worest in sound.

                                    yes, i agree that pulsar silencers are not properly designed. i dunno why it frequently damaged. i have pulsar 150cc 3 years old, but i replaced two silencers with in these three years.
                                    In pulsar sliencer its not good quality ... company should concentrate in sliencer... material and coating should improve... then only you can solve the problem otherwise...

                                    Yes its very true that pulsar 150cc dtsi has very serious silencer problems. It gets rusting in a specific area near to the outlet of it, And not only for my bike but i have observed it on all bajaj pulsars, it happens after 1 or 2 years.
                                    Also the other thing to note is that Bajaj is not giving its replacement if the warranty period is over, but i would say that it is a warranty period & not a expiry date after which it may be left unusable. If a company cannot make a bike(or say parts) whose life is only for 2 years then it is equivalent to a worst quality china product. And i dont know how these companies get Quality certificates.
                                    I think the consumer forum must take a action on this as early as possible and should set a example to other companies who are cheating its customers in the name of warranty period. I would like to remind about the nokia batteries, which the company replaced even after the warranty.

                                    My mike is almost 4 year old and half of the silencer broke down due to rust, I never see this kind a problem in other bikes where silencer need no replacement for years (Without croming). By the way what will be the cost of new silencer? I enquire at Poplar Bajaj service center (Bangalor) they said it will be appox Rs. 3000/-
                                    I m having splendor 10 yrs old, still its silencer is fine, but 3 yrs old pulsor 150 DTSI is looking like hell.
                                    I am having bajaj pulsar 150 DTSi which is of two years old and now the silencer of my bike has been rusted and i could hear a awkward noise from the same. It was said at the time of buying that Bajaj is the best company in two wheelers. Now I totally regret about the statement. Who will bear the amount for replacing the silencer and at the same time i also own Fiero f2 which is around 4 years old and till now it looks great. Someone has said that it depends on the maintainance, but i cannot accept this statement as both the vehicles are handled by me and i can say that bajaj product is very worse than others.

                                    Bajaj is really using poor quality silencer in pulser, my bike is 2.5 year old and silencer got rusted and broke.
                                    Now bajaj has stopped manufacturing crome silencers and only blackcloured silencer is available which is very expensive 4200 RS.
                                    Some bike mechanics has advised me to put some oil periodically in silencer, so that it will not take rust.
                                    I am having bajaj discover 125cc. After 3 yrs of proper usage, to my surprise, I saw the silencer getting rusted near the outlet. I have never seen such a thing in a Hero Honda bike. It is very frustrating that Bajaj is putting on such low quality stuffs in their bikes. I have seen this with Pulsar as well. Now I have to spend around Rs4000 from my pocket due to the company's design problem. Like someone mentioned in the above post, they should start replacing it with a good one at their own cost, otherwise noone would recommend this bike again.

                                    Bajaj Pulsar 150cc DTSI — The Silencer of a bike is completely damaged without much being in use

                                    This is regarding a complaint of products of BAJAJ AUTO LTD. In 2005 i had purchased a bajaj 150cc pulsar bike of black colour, till date i have driven that bike only 13000km and the silencer of that bike is completely damaged. I wrote a letter to tha company but there is no response from the co and i am asking for the claim from the co. They are charging such high prices for their products and selling third quality product in the market and making fool of customers. The cost of the silencer is RS 4000/-.
                                    This is very ture. Silencer is geeting brittle. Its not worthy to change 3K's of silencer in 2 year, that too it gives best look of the bike.

I am not heard about other company's silencer has rusted or broken. When i told about this to my friends then i got surprised that they said BAJAJ having this regular problem.

                                    I possess splendor from last 8 years and has no maintanance problem at all including silencer till date(now using my brother). I have used Bajaj M-80 & Bajaj CT100 also (which are still with me and no silencer problem). I found silencer problem only with Pulser 150. I possess 3 years old pulser 150 and its silencer get rusted in 2 years and broken down in middle. Bajaj should give attention about its quality. Overall bike is good, but its parts should be reliable.
                                    Hi everybody, my bike pulsar 150 DTSI is 2 and half years old and suddenly few days back i saw an unusual thing happening to the silencer of my bike. Its started rusting, it was very difficult to believe on such incidence. Because i do have Hero Honda bike which is 8 years old still i havent got a chance to replace its silencer. I am not comparing, but my point is why it is getting rusted just before the outlet. Also one thing to be noticed is that the area where it is getting rusted is a bit like bump shape. i request to the manufacturers of Bajaj Pulsar to look into this matter, instead of putting a burden on common man by such expenses. Please try to find out the solution like exchange offer kind of a thing. i dont know what to do now, because i purchased pulsar even after my father insisted me to go for CBZ, i regret my decision today.

                                    I strongly agree with the previous posts(Complaints on Silencer). BAJAJ itself is the worst product manufacturer of Vehicles. In March 2007 i was looking for a change of my bike (Splendour) and opted Pulsar 150CC as there were no good bikes(CBZ Extreme was a failure) in the range. Within 3 months of purchase the engine coil got burnt and it stopped in the mid of the road. I towed(utmost difficulty) it to nearby showroom and they told me that this is not covered under warranty so i had to pay them 1800/- to drive my bike again. I cursed myself for choosing Pulsar.

                                    Later slowly rust started to develop over the Silencer within 8months of the purchase. I took the vehicle to the showroom where i purchased the vehicle and he told me that he will be sending the documents to the Company and will get new silencer as a replacement within 10days. I gave the service booklet to him and waited for 3months to get an update. Whenever i used to go to him he used to say it is still in process.

                                    Finally i went to the Company Branch office locally and there i showed him all the documents. He was not even bothered to answer me rather simply told warranty is for 11months and it is almost 11months 2days so he cannot help me.

                                    I dont understand whom to blame - i conclude that it was my mistake to purchase such a worst product from such a worst company.

                                    I strongly advised all my friends and relatives not to buy any Bajaj products and i will continue to tell anyone i encounter of the Worst Company in the world - BAJAJ

                                    I have a Bajai Discover 112CC - 2 Years old. There is lot of rust formed on the silencer. I feel the silencer sound was completely changed. Its very bad about Bajaj. I have seen many bajaj bikes on road, maximum vehicles with the Silver Silencer is having rust. why this problem found?????. I think Bajaj Silencer division is very pooooooor department!!!

                                    Before buying a Pulsar 180, I had a Yamaha Rx100 for so many years. It shined like new and there was no complaints and the silencer looked like new. I loved it. I sold when I was told that I will get a better mileage with Pulsar.

                                    Here i would like to putforth a solution to bajaj auto. From last one month if we all are aware what TOYOTA, HONDA and now MARUTI SUZUKI is doing. These company are recalling all the respective cars which were having major defects in there cars fuel pump. Now i just want to know why dont Bajaj take the responsibility and recalls all the bikes which are having problem like silencer rusting. As the people those have changed it, should be refunded.

                                    I also want bajaj auto to inspect there authorised service station. As my bikes spark plug was not changed due to mistake done during servicing at GEMS service center at market yard, pune. This has costed me 2340 Rs, because the spark plug broke just after 2 days of servicing and my bikes engine complete cylinder was made to be changed after that. As my bike crossed 15000 km mark, my question is why it was not changed. I resquest consumer forum to take this issue forward to some of the government body, who can take action against these issues.

                                    I hope it is not a case that bajaj auto is owned by one of the biggest politician. So wahtever we are putting forward will not go in vain.

                                    Please Bajaj Auto do something, please do not test our patience. If the same continues then one day will come, when there will be a revolt. and then Bajaj will be doomed...
                                    All the comments given above are 100% right. I bot a pulsar 150cc in 2007 and the silencer started rusting in 8th month. It continued to rust more and more and finally i went to dealer and told him abt this. Even but the silencer had 20000kms or 2years warrantly the dealer did not give me the replacement. Now that chrome silencer has stopped manufacturing. I had to finally buy a new now which is a black silencer and i donno how this goes...

                                    Looks like the end part of the silencer has been welded to the front part and it's at this joint that the rust seems to form. And it's not like I haven't taken care of my bike. But you can't keep your bike weather proof all the time. You are bound to drive the bike in rain at some point in time. But that shouldn't lead to such rusting.
                                    Even I faced the same problem with my PULSAR 150CC DTSI... Very poor performace in terms of durability... Even after so many complains BAJAJ is not bother to look into this matter seriously... There are also other maintance problem with this bike... When I compare this BIKE with HONDA UNICORN what I can say is BAJAJ has still Long way to go !!! They are good only for Auto Riksha...

                                    I love Pulsar and Chrome silencer is one and the major attraction of the bike.. i love it...

                                    But the quality was worst...they definitely form rust in one or two years...

                                    i observed that simple bikes like HH cd-100, splendor, cbz etc even though they completed 10 years or so there will be no silencer issues irrespective of maintainence.. i can damn bet for it with ANY ONE...

                                    The mian aim of Bajaj is it always want to steal money from its customers without noticing that they were being robbed...

                                    Not only Pulsar but also discover, ct100 etc will have the same issues... and service is another worst thing...

                                    The material used for making the silencer is of very very very low in quality but it was sold at higher cost making ALL OF ITS CUSTOMERS THE BIG FOOLS...

                                    One can think that silencer may form rust due to improper maintainence.. But it was a big mistake...

                                    Simply compare a old HH cd100 silencer going on road with our new corrupted pulsar silencer...

It is a strong suggestion to the Bajaj Company to act accordingly and upgrade the product.                                     Its very very true. My 3 year old pulsar's silencer gets rust and damaged. When the mechanic tried to weld it with another piece, the silencer was burning like a paper. I'm the only user of the bike. Bajaj should take more care about the silences also...
                                    Yes, I totally agree to it. Even my Pulsar 150 silencer is rusty and also having a crack below the heat guard. Its pathetic. This is absolutely the quality issue and Bajaj company should fix this for all of those who encountered it.
                                    I have pulsar 150dtsi - 2years old. My silencer is totally break down in two parts. The sound of silencer has also changed as now only half part is remaining and half has been completely damaged. The silencer is very expensive it seems (3k) and without any gaurantee...if it happens again, then what to do. Bajaj is only producing new models and now concentrating on quality. Itz really very bad that bajaj is now cheating their customers.
                                    The same with my pulsar 150cc DTSi, Silencer is rusted and broken from below :-( the bajaj dealer have told it will cost 3500 aproxx to buy and fit it :-( Toooooo expensive . this is too much for a 3 years old bike... I had a herohonda for about 7 years and didnt even had a rust on the Silencer. I really feel bad about Bajaj!!!
                                    Pathetic that I trusted bajaj for my first bike (silencer coil is gone), but now I will discourage everybody around me who go's for looks (avenger 220, pulsur 220, 200, 135)
                                    I am using bajaj kawasaki for the last 8 years.once i have changed silencer.All the four stroke engines silencer usually get corroded faster than two stroke engines .Due to water formation after power stroke and the water particles comes and settled in the silencer.In two stroke engines we mix some %oil along with the fuel, this oil gives an anticorosive coating inside the silencer.To aviod this one can spray some engine oil inside the silencer physically to give protection.This may help some extent and extend the life of of silencer.
                                    Guys use other Companies Black silencer rather that from the showroom of bajaj... The one i had purchased to my bike is of some branded company called "Blue Star" which is propely Installed and wrkng gr8 with my 150 dts-i pulsar... just take care not to allow dust to remain on it for long time, this will make it rusty and may damage it..
                                    Bajaj is good for looks and perfrmance... & not for Mantainance.. the bike is nothing but a Money well... where u have to thrw money on it like anythng...
                                    Thums dwn to bajaj... Plz some1 overtake this Company and make good use of it...

                                    silencer design is not good but 220 design is good please 220 silencer fit in the 150
                                    This is pathetic, at one end bajaj claims making world class bikes, and on the other they are fitting in sub standard parts on a game changing bike of theirs.
                                    Bajaj's decision to not take corrective measures and keeping this fault under covers rather than owning it is a sign of cowardness. The problem being so apparent, its gonna tarnish bajaj quality measures big time.

                                    No wonder other bike manufacturers would soon take the lead away from bajaj.

                                    And yes my bitter words come from ownership of P180 with black silencer. Rusting and falling off in middle of the highway!!!

                                    I too agree with this, my pulsar 150 was just about two years and 6 months old. And it has done only 10000kms. I kept it neat n clean away from water and bad weather, still the silencer got rust. The internal pipe on which the material is trapped between the silencer came out of the mouth chocking its mouth, which resulted in making my bikes engine noisy (i mean the tappets started making noise). WTF is this, i am satisfied with the bikes performance but what is dis BAJAJ AUTO, do something to save yourself, because there are many new players which are providing better quality. and stop annoying customers. Else u know what will happen to u, no one even will utter your name, like they earlier did to your bikes. Feel really very bad about it...its hampering PULSAR's image!!! :@
                                    My pulsar 150's silencer (2 years from manufacturing) has a gap formed under the silencer and it is starting to get corroded in the gap. Poor performance of silencer !!!. But I think that painting the portion of gap may solve the problem

                                    I have purchesed bajaj pulsar in Nov 2010. After one moth i have seen engeen oil likage .all the oil drainning in one month. I went to babaj servicing center in Marathalli more than 5 times but they are not giving proper service. Still i am facing the same problem.v

                                    Hi my name is Kirit Mithiya. I bought Bajaj Pulsor 135 before approx 17 months back. My bike registration no is MH O3 AU 7245. It has been bought to the notice of Shriram Service centre, ghatkopar about non functioning of speedometer and techo meter, still they are not replacing the parts as it is already covered under the warranty. Further i have several other problem in my bike with in few days of buying it. Further there is a problem with shock up sir. I urge company to provide the feedback and direct the service centre to replace the respective parts. It is the duty of the company to resolve the genuine complaints.
                                    Bajaj is a worst company. 6 silencers out of 10 got problems. I wonder how do they produce like these after so many complaints. Bajaj is robbing indians money officially.they better opt for ### company than two wheeler company.
                                    Yes... This is true. I am having 2008 model pulsar. I alone driving the bike from starting period. I am sure that, i didnt touched the silencer for a problem. Now before few days, i ride the bike in a speed of 80 for almost 35 kilometers. After that, suddenly the bike sound get changed. At the end of the silencer, the round cover was opened and came out.I just welded it and used for a month. Again it was damaged.. And while running, the engine was not running normally. I need to replace the silencer.

                                    But my friend using cbz from 2004. But still the silencer is good.No more issues.

                                    Silencer is too bad on BAJAJ motor cycles. My uncle faced this issue in his CT 100 too.

                                    i am having a pulsar 180 2007 model. i was having the same problem. one day the silencer rear part fallen down a road while i was riding . i came to know once i parked the vehicle after sometime after many kilometers . It happened in 2010.

                                    Then i welded the rear part with a local metal plate with the help of a local welder

                                    Now comedy is the local metal plate is not having any issue .
                                    BUT all other Bajaj silencer portions are having holes ... :)

                                    Bajaj silencer quality is very very low --> lower than a local welder metal sheet, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ha ha ha ...what to say .


                                    And ultimate comedy is i have changed almost all the parts of the bike - digital meter first, digital meter cable, chain sprocket, chain, electrical wiring, battery etc etc ... QUALITY IS VERY VERY POOR...

                                      I am finding it difficult to find the genuine bajaj spare parts such as the Block piston in Pune for KB125 since last 3-4 years, i searched it all major bajaj dealers. As its resale value is very less i decided to repair it, but there is no support for this model

                                        Dear Sir, I have purchased a bajaj avenger 200 dtsi in the Name of Mr. Chetan D. Sadekar Engine No. JMGBRF09693 Chasis No. MD2DGJMZZRCF10256 on 11th October 2008 from your probiking showroom situated at Old Padra Rd, Baroda. I was having problem from the first day in my bike of when we accelerate than the firing of the vehicle doesn't goes smooth. The continuity is not proper i showed the same problem at the time of 1st service at your authorised probiking service centre (Job Card No 355). First of all they kept the vehicle for 2 days i.e. 11.11.2008 at 11:00 am & 12.11.2008 i took the delivery. But at the time of delivery the problem was not solved the work done by your technicians only washing & oil changing was done. When i asked for the problem which i have mentioned at the time of giving the vehicle for service that was not solved. Asking for the same ur technician told that for more two to three days u have to keep the vehicle with us. Is this the proper time for a single vehicle to solve the problem???

                                        When i didn't agree to keep the vehicle for more days ur technician told that there is a problem in ur carborator we have to change that but right now we r not having the stock for the same. Whenever we will receive from the company at that time we will call u.

                                        Before this issue i met with an accident & my vehicles brake paddle & foot rest were damaged, at the same time i sent the vehicle at ur svc centre but the same answer was given from ur service centre that we r not having the stock so try to come after diwali, I waited for 20 days but till date they have not recd the material from the company. I was ready to pay the charges whatever happens.

                                        Is this the service of PROBIKING ???

                                        Did u feel it is PROPER ???

                                        R U forcing me to go to customer cell ???

                                        Within such a small time we r facing so much problems it is too long for us to get the services of 5 years. Also the attitude o[censored]r personals is not proper. I[censored] feel the things r going wrong than please try improve them & solve our problem as early as possible on my same ID.

                                        I agree with the gentleman, I am also a victim of the same, i bought Bajaj Avenger 200cc on Feb, 09 .
                                        and i am not as satisfied with the servics your company frachisee owners are giving me. the one of an example is at lucknow at gokhle Marg, these people offer us five free services, but there is no sort of services given, its pathetic. i repeat its pathetic .

                                        when i was riding before the first service, i used to get the average aroud 35 to 40kms, but after the first service i am getting the average around 25kms. max.. then wats the use of getting my bike serviced ...i wud have used it withoud getting it serviced, .. even for the spare parts they have one answer, " sir ... right now its not availble u can try out after a week" ..."R WE HAVING SO MUCH SPARE TIME FOR SUCH A SMALL THINGS. "

                                        It has realy given a very bad impact to me and even to most of your customers who had complaint for the same ... ...even in future i wud never buy a bajaj product, ...

                                        I had also faced same issues. The Service Provide's not helping us.
                                        In my bike have the Shock-absorber's issue. They told me, that, they can replace that part. I am still waiting from last one year.
                                        I think they will say after one more year that your bike is not in warranty so u should pay for it. lol.

                                        Bajaj — not given proper service

                                        hi i am sontu mondal purchase a bajaj discover(135) bike from Kamal auto mobile at Haridebur center( dealer of Bajaj bike) and free service done by other bajaj service center but they are not given the proper services. They had told me that the all bajaj discover have one or more problem and thats why they can do nothing for that.


                                        So please check it as soon as possible, , i will glad for that

                                        use bithakar to do bhale hi paise lo no problem...
                                        plz bajaj ke honhar enginner ese problem ko sulja...sali gadi jis din se liya use din se pareshan ho gaya hu...

                                        i bought avenger200cc just a month ago, while i drive just 1-2km the engine get so heated, i have given the bike for 1st service also but the problem still there.is it okay to get heated or advice me wat to do
                                        I visited the Hind Motors LTD. SCO 48, Phase-2, Mohali on 15.3.2010 for getting my Pulsar motor-cycle serviced. I requested them to test ride the vehicle before delivery and rectify the defects what appears to mechanic. After the delivery they did not check up my vehicle. The self was not working properly and did not bother to my complaint. The vehicle was not washed and charged the full amount. I have to got my vehicle repaired from private mechanic as the vehicle was not in order. Kindly look into matter and intimate about this.
