I am a subscriber of BSNL for the past 6 months, it is a very bad experience, my phone is out of service most of the time and broadband is also unreliable, I pay 850 rupees monthly for the service and all said and done I do not get my money's worth. Any attempt to contact BSNL customer care is futile as either the numbers are not working or there is no response.

It has been almost a week and my phone is not working. I need 24/7 internet coverage for my work, and not having the internet has led to financial loss and not being able to deliver on my commitments to my clients.

My number is[protected]. A horrible experience with BSNL.

    I would like to register a complinat against BSNL, PUNE, Yerwada/Viman Nagar.

    Vide a letter PTR/TRA/ESAT/ICB/5057 DT. 17.09.2012, BSNL is sending a letter with complete baseless and wrong information and warning me stating recovery of bill outstanding Rs.2505/-.

    I would like to put some fact here. Last several month the telephone line bearing no.[protected] is not working since many months. But every month BSNL used to send bills charing monthly rental without any usage. I have visited telephone exchange and met incharge Mr.Khare and discussed about the issue. He clearly told me that the line cannot be restored due to some undergrojund cables are damaged in the drainage in cross road of Viman Nagar. They gave up this matter. I understood from Divisional engineer office at Yerwada that dispute is already running between PMC and BSNL. There fore they suggested me to switch to WLL mobile instead of land line. I have applied for WLL and currently the same is functioning on my address.

    As per the suggestion last month during September, I surrender the telehpone instrument and requested for a waveir of the outstanding. Mr.Khare agreed they will do the needful and pass the matter to billing deparemnt. Post that I submitted the proof of document to CSD at Yerwada and requested for disconnection permanently. They have accepted and the CSD agent spoke to Mr.Khare and despite having the outstanding on telehpone, I was told this will be settled within their system citing the non-function of telehpone. This Viman nagar - Zircon society many telehpone line non-function matter is known to enitre BSNL authorities and concerned HODs of various deparemnets.

    However they have quated in the letter that, for non-paymnet of bills the line was disconnected. Also gave an ultimatum stating I have to pay Rs.2505/- on or before[protected] or else I have to face legal suit and they might recover the money along with 18% interest.

    I request this fourm to help me to settle this matter decenly. I am not concerned on the Amount, I can pay any time. But the morale of the concerned authorities wihtout reaslising and looking at the customer problem. The overall approach by BSNL is harrasment to simple citizen like me.

    BSNL - landline telephone — wrong billing

    My BSNL landline no. is[protected]. I had applied for a landline connection which is incoming only but BSNL is sending me a bill of 190/- which is for outgoing facility since 3 months. They had done this for the first month also but I reported to them and they changed. Now they have again included outgoing facility charges. I had clearly mentioned in the application form that I want incoming only. I request you to enquire this with respect to my application details.

    They had even sent a bill of 80,000/- once and on reporting they changed it.

    I demand action against these people who even after my queries are not responding properly.

    BSNL — Billed without providing service

    Dear Sir/ Madam,

    Our telephone number is [protected], this is a office phone number having internet connectivity, our business mainly based on the internet connectivity, but the phone line connected that brings the internet is disconnected due to some technical issues, the BSNL people have not been able to resolve the issue due to negligence, they have sent us the bill for INR 971 for the telephone and data charges for which for the entire month the phone was dead and no internet also.
    so we request you to consider this as the formal complaint and take suitable action against the resposible authorities.

      I am Sandeep Kumar K, using the BSNL Broadband service in Lalkuan, Nanital district, Utharakhand for the last one month with my telephone number [protected].
      From the day I had started using my Interet a month before, I'm facing the problem of getting disconnected the internet just after 5:40 PM everyday.
      I have been complained many times about this problem to the BSNL employees at Lalkuan. But still I'm facing the same problem with my Broadband connection.
      I have taken the plan o[censored]nlimited Internet usage which rentals Rs. 750/- per month, but i hardly utilized my plan due to the above reason.
      Since I'm a working professional, I can't stay in my house all the day for using the internet, But when I return from my work, i never get connected to the internet due to this problem.
      though I have registered complaint in the local telephone exchange, the problem has not been solved.
      And I didn't even get a prompt response from the BSNL personnel at this location.

      Please see that the Internet connectivity problem with my number be solved as soon as possible.

      BSNL Broadband — improper working of broadband

      my broadband connection has been issued on 21dec..2007...
      till date it didnt work properly atleast 4 one day...
      more over excessive bill has been imposed on us...
      none is responding...
      i think al the concern officers r sleeping...
      i have been paying since 8 months...
      ...since a month my connection is not working at alll...

      1. Very irrugular connectivity
      2. very bad service_____ All the wires are open near the pc
      3. Modem gets off autometecally after few mins
      4. some gentic problem occurs after every few mins and broadband gets off

      BSNL Broadband Internet — improper internet facilities

      Dear Sir,
      Am pramod patil, i have applied for broad band connection in the month of may 2008...Two line man from BSNL have came to our house and gave the landline connection and they ask for 100 RS commission when we rejected to give 100 RS they told we have to give 100 RS or else we will be facing the service problem.From the last four months we are regularly facing the internet problems.we are paying 750Rs per month for home plan and there will be no internet every weekends and during holidays...last satarday the land line was not working and we informed to[protected] and 1500 they told they will be attending to it...and again in the evening we gave ring they told we can't do anything it will be ok on thursday after deepavali festival...when i will try to call area manager, he will not pick up the customer call or he will keep switch of the phone...if we tell this to customer service centre 1500 or[protected] they will tell we are not responsible to it and you can contact higher authorities...when two line man came to our house we have given filled internet application along with address proof, they told they will submit the application form to the office and you will get the internet connection within one or two weeks...but we waited for one month for internet connection but we didnt get and we went to BSNL office to ask the problem, they told your OB has not yet issued because we didnt give the internet application from and address proof...and i told i have submitted it to the line man..but they told line man has not submitted it to office...when i contacted line man he told he has lost it..and i have informed this to area manager he told to give another application form and he didnt took any action on this matter...he is doing much careless so i request you to take some action...i think our line will be disconnected during holidays by the two line man and if it continues this i dont need your services so please take some serious action with this regards...or if you are also unable to take some action, please inform us we will apply for other services..we are thinking that BSNL is the most fastest and friendly customer services...but i think its not true..

      I have complained for 691 error for last 45days but its not still verified i have complained to haveri broadband office but no use they tell that we have sent mail to bangalore and ur password will be refresh but not until this time my problem is not solved.

      Hi,

      I am facing broadband issues since last 6 months and I am extremely dissatisfied with the service BSNL is offering me, I had filed a compliant numerous time and the thing I get is only apology, no one is willing to take action. I feel that I will have to bribe them so that they can do theri work for my benefit. They are not helping me because they know that no one is able to question them about their work.

      Please help me to get my internet broadband connection faster and better, thats all, I hope my connection remains in tact this time while writing you this message.

      bsnl will internet — improper response from bsnl

      Dear Sir,

      Its regret at high dense to quote the following

      i have applied for a will internet connection 7 months back at bsnl office perumanallur , tirupur. after paying required fees and caution deposit for the same. for calling and all i use my mobile only and i have applied for this connection just for the internet purpose only.

      i got the landline connection and for internet connection i was told to wait for sumtime, i waited and waited and i contacted the bsnl office several times but no response was ther from their part and after so many days one executive had cum to me for installing the internet software in the system and i was told dat its not possible to give the connection and wen i asked d reason for that he told he has not given connection in windows vista software as of that date and i was told that he ll get back to me as soon as possible by confirmig weter he can give the connection or not.

      i didnt get any reponse and i contacted the bsnl office several times and also i contacted the bsnl customer care and also lodged one complaint in this regard in internet also, bt i didnt get any reply til now. this continued for almost 5 months and in the sixth month i got a call from the bsnl office stating dat my telephone bill has cum to rs. 2377 and i have to pay for that failing wich i ll forced to face the court order and all.

      But i didnt get the internet connection and also i didnt recieve the bill for 5 months too. i was in an embarassing situation hearing all this. neither i got the connection nor bill and i was told to pay the amount and wen i enquired regarding this to the ADE at BSNL Tirupur I was told that i ll get the bill if i go the bsnl office near railway station which is almost three kms from here. just to collect the bill i was told to go here and there.

      and wen i told all this matter to the division engineer at Tirupur i was given the bill there itself and i paid the entire amount pertaining to that bill after adjutsting the caution deposit and being the cash had already been closed i handed over the money to the division engineer itself and i was asked to bring the instrument ( bsnl landline) to my office so that they can collect it from there as the bsnl office is near to my office , i had done dis too. and also i was told to wait for sum time till the adjustment of the bill. after 2 week i didnt get the surrender certificate and all and i contacted this particular divisional engineer and there i was shocked to hear dat i have to pay another amount to close dat connection. and wen i enquired y all dis is happeing and y not i was told at the time of closing the connection dat dis much amount may cum in future to close the connection and before i complete my talk the phone was disconnnected ( without hearing my words in full the phone was disconnected).
      i tried to call the same DE after dat also but i all times i got the same reply dat she is not ther in the office.

      BSNL Broadband — improper network

      I am using BSNL broadband connection with unlimited usage structure.The net service is improper cant able to access facebook and always there is problem in the server cant able to have a continues network.

      Internet — improper connection

      siri their is regular distraction in my broad band conection.i made complaint in indore office but no step are taken yet ,sir your customer is suffering due to highly irresopsible behabiov of indore centerplz kindly solve my problem.

        Dear Sir,

        On 18.10.2012 at around 21:28 Hrs. I received a Message from "[protected]", thanking me for subscribing for "Bhavishyavani Pack" for which Rs.20.00 will be charged par month. Before, I could read and react to such false message, the amount has been deducted from my Balance and I again received a Message from "BP-ONMOBL" at around 21:39 Hrs. confirming deduction.

        Since, this pack was not subscribed by me, I called the BSNL Customer Care (Wireless Call Centre) at around 22:09 Hrs. The Call Center executive gave me Docket No. J18UE308748 for the complaint booked by me. He also assured me that the amount will be re-credited to my account within 4 Hrs.

        Till now, the amount has neither been refunded nor I heard anything from BSNL. It seems, BSNL has intentionally, made this practice to earn money. Here, I wish to mention that such false subscription and deductions from my account had happened earlier also.

        May I request you to kindly help me in the matter.

          I am loganathan.I booked new landline connection from BSNL 0n 04/10/2012. They allocate one number[protected] and give me a receipt . But yet connection is not given. I complaint many times and also ask about this to the local exchange. They said here connection are full and not able to give you a new connection. .so, kindly do the needful action as early as possible. my order no is [protected].

          I had applied for a new landline with broadband on[protected], for some unknown reason I was sent to the kalapet exchange where kept my application form till[protected], when I paid 500 for the new connectionI, and received bill on only[protected], but till now[protected], there is no response from them, with all the wirings setup and instrument given still there is no connection. The exchange JE and officials are very iggnorant and did not pick up my call, so I visited the exchange 7 time, they didn,t even care to answer me properly. I just too frustrated, with this kind of behaviour how can they advertise to provide connction in a day. BSNL will never improve with ths kind of people working.

              BSNL Hungama — MODCHGS

              I received a call from BSNL Hungama during July 2010 that I am to get free services if I provide to them my mobile number and email address and I provided to them but I am sorry to inform you that I got MODCHG in my lanline bill[protected] during Aug to Oct 2010 bill totalling Rs 533.51.
              BSNL never gives any kind of services to its clients without the written consent of its customers and not only that BSNL asks for deposit to its clients.
              But here no written consent nor any kind of deposit is taken.
              Telling for FREE services and debiting in my bill is looting to the public and cheating to the public.Who has given permission to BSNL HUNGAMA to debit in my bill ?
              I request you to get refund for Rs 533.51+[protected]@ 24% thereon and email charges Rs 2000/-

                  my number is [protected] , some how the sms jokes pack got activated and i wanted to cancel that activation, when i call the customer service on 14th sunday afternoon to [protected], and said the above mentioned request to cancel the joke sms pack, that person on customer care promised to do that by evening on the same day.
                  15th again i called for the same reason, the call was made hold n no one took responce for the complaint made, and got cut, again i tried to call some other number 155223 they made me hold the line for 5 min and they cut the call, again i tried network failure!!!
                  Is bsnl expecting customers to run behind them for services ??

Even in the BSNL portal page its own site doesn't take the number & shows error!!!
                        please its my humble request to look into this matter because every time its not possible to go to the retailer & recharge the number.

                            I was using the BSNL landline for a couple of years when I was staying in Loni Khurd (Tal Rahata , Dist Nagar). The number which i was owning was 272389 (std code 02422). I have disconnected the phone and submitted it back to BSNL office. I have completed all the formalities which are required during the disconnection of the phone. I was told by BSNL officers that I will be getting the deposit amount refunded in 6 months....

                            On 11.10.2012 i made online BSNL Mobile pripaid Recharge Payment for Rs.110 through my PNB Credit card. My transaction was failed with error "Reasons: sorry!We are unable to process your transaction.Please conatct us at [protected]@billdesk.com for any queries". So again tried for online payment and it was sucessfully submitted. Later i came to know that Rs 110 was debited from account Twice and same was reflected in my transaction list today. Here with this complaint i had attached error screen shot.Seeking your esteemed help and advice in this regards.

                              We had a thunder shower around end of sept 2012, since then our one line[protected] is dead . we have sent letter to the greams Road telephone depat office, from where they sent us to Dams road office, after going there they said the letter will need to be taken to a place on Anna salai, which address they could not give nor any contact no is available. The complaints no 28611191 , is "no longer in use 'or is not a'valid no' we get as a recorded message when we lodge a complaint. How can a consumer survive in such unfriendly customer service conditions.Pl restore connection and also give us credit of rent for such a long disuse of phone .

                                BSNL a worst 3G service provider and not at all stands on customer satisfaction.
                                I have a prepaid 3G card, I sometimes make recharge of RS 98/- on it and sometimes of RS 450/- but this time I made recharge for RS 750/- and really believe me guy's speed what I am getting on 750/- plan is worst than that of 98/- plan. BSNL cheats their customers. Company must re-pay me for not providing speed as per their plans.
