    Cellone Prepaid Service — Deduction of Execess charges

    I am a regular customer of BSNL prepaid mobile No.[protected] and today on 25.10.2009 balance on my mobile is 1262.87 and as per tarriff rates applicable to me within punjab on every mobile and l and line 0.20 paisa per minutes. But i made call on moble NO.[protected] and on [protected], both BSNL number within pujnab. But the company has deduted 0.49 paisa per minutes. It is therefore requested to loadge my complaint to correct the same immediately.

      I have 3GB per month gprs available in every month
      I now i received my mobile no. bill is Rs. 2055
      for Sep. 2012 ,even I am not used my all data
      , my bill amount is absolutely wrong.

      I checked my data from SMS , USG to[protected] Sep.)
      which shown me less than 3GB.

      So please help me on this issue
      take appropriate action ,
      so that faith on government organization increased

        I am using BB850 unlimited connection on my landline[protected] with 350 free calls. Recently I activated Friends & family for [protected] on my landline. During that time I was told I will be charging 27Rs for activation for month and call charges for that F&F number are like 10Ps/min during night hours (9PM-8AM) and 20Ps/min during day hours (8AM-9PM). But in my latest bill it is not done properly. It seems I was charged 1Rs/120 sec irrespective of time (whether night hours or day hours).I contacted customer care and many of BSNL ameerpet numbers and I was told that some billing problem took place in my latest bill. I called ameerpet accounts officer[protected] and many of BSNL ameerpet numbers but everyone says we don’t know, you call some other number but no one respond to the problem.
        I complained the same in BSNL CDR portal on[protected]SR#[protected]) but the complaint still in open status.
        I personally went to BSNL office Ameerpet and submitted handwritten complaint on[protected] still nothing took place in resolving my problem.Even i got next month bill there also they did n't update friends & family call rates but charging 27/- Rs towards F&F activation every month.It reflects unfair,Irresponcible,negligence,careless behavior of BSNL officials.
        I never notice this type of worst behavior in other players in the same telecom domain.

        BSNL — careless officials

        i gave an application for shifting of my land line on april 28th till date they have not shifted but i am getting the bill for the same number since 3 months. when enquired they say the request form is not with them i gave them the photo copy of the same but they are not doing it do i need to pay the bill even though it is the fault of BSNL.
        phone not working. Every month there is one or the other problem.ESpecially since i have installed Airtel Landline.

          I have made an application for mobile number portability from BSNL to Vodafone for the mobile no:- [protected] on[protected] at Vodafone store, Himatnagar. Gujarat. On[protected], my service from BSNL is turned off but still today my service in Vodafone is not started. My number is out of service since[protected]. I have contacted both the service provider in this regards but neither BSNL nor Vodafone is ready to take responsibility for this issue. So, I request you to help me in this regards.

              Hi,

              My number is .............. Around 200 rs have been deducted from account after giving unwanted messages at my number. My mother uses the mobile, BSNL sends unwanted promotional messages or setting to my mobile, which my mother opens unknowingly. And they reduce the amount. I can understand its being done once or twice. But this is 4 times now. Last time i have lodged complaint as well, but nothing happened. They said it wont happen and they resolved the ticket. I have initiated DND request as well but this happens.
              This really has been a pathetic experience with BSNL. I recharged my number because my mom stays at home and balance in the cell would help in her making important calls. But since i recharged, BSNL has been doing this consecutively.
              Now i really am fed of this service. Can this be traced out? I want a resolution as where this process is wrong.

              Enough is enough. Now they have barred me calling the customer care saying the option 9 is invalid when i try to talk to customer care .

                Hello Sir,

                This complaint is regarding recharge done but not received!
                I have done recharge of Rs.220 for BSNL Number [protected] on 5th Nov 2012 at around 11.45 am. The number is registered with Mr.Prakash Gadewar's name.It has been noticed that the recharge is not received, so I called upon the customer care of BSNL.
                I came to know from Customer Care representative that the recharge is done successfully but the payment won't be made as the validity of Sim card is over. I was told that even the Rs.220 wont be returned to me or returned to Mobile Balance, also told to do recharge of Rs34 to reactivate the Sim.
                The most frustrating and misleading part of the call was failure of BSNL to return the Customer's money even after the recharge is done to deactivated SIM. I was totally unaware about the validity of SIM; as the SIM is currently out of Maharashtra and is in roaming area.
                It is like adding (money/recharge) something unnecessarily and losing it at the cost of Money. Since Customer care representative claimed that I cannot get my recharge back, this made me feel uncomfortable as my money was lost uselessly. I'm not receiving any value for the payment and just going in vain.
                Furthermore, I was told since the card validity had expired on 5th Oct 2012, after completion of 15 grace days which would be 20th OCT, Balance available in SIM would be exhausted/lost.
                I am fine with above statement and clause, but not returning Rs220 seems tobe immoral. I request BSNL service provider to add certain exception process, so that customers can get their lost money back by such invalid transaction.
                What I am Expecting: BSNL should provide my Rs.220 recharge back after I reactivate the SIM card by recharging it with Rs.34 as I didn't receive it in mobile balance by adopting certain exception policy/process/provision.

                Hi,
                I got the Rs.220 recharge amount, came to know that this is an automatic process and seems that customer care representatives are not aware that after doing the recharge of Rs.34, amount could be seen in mobile balance.

                    I am using BSNL prepaid mobile connection having no. [protected].
                    I am facing a problem that my balance is deducting continuously.
                    When I talk to customer care they said you applied for some internet services but I had not applied for any such services & my mobile phone does not support any internet access.
                    Customer care person also said that they are not responsible for activating any service & they don’t know how it is activated on your mobile phone they are here for only disconnecting any such services (This work is also not done by them because I am applying for disconnecting my services from 26/10/2012 but the same answer is given by customer care that they have disconnected the service online & no balance will deduct in future) I am Helplessssss!!!!!

                      STV 300 (Special Tariff Voucher 300) not listed in the drop down menu under online recharge of pre-paid connections in "portal.bsnl.in". Unable to recharge online.                           I got bsnl broadband combo 900 ULD Plan on 26th September, 2012. This plan is supposed to provide 4 mbps speed upto 8gb and beyond this 512 kbps but as the connection started I got only upto 200 kbps which is roughly like a 2 mbps plan and after several complaints they solved this problem after 10 days. Till then I've used 7 gb of data. I could download only 1 gb of data at 4 mbps (450-500 kbps).
                          But I'm experiencing this problem again now. From 1st November,2012 I'm supposed to get 8gb at the speed of 4 mbps but not getting even 200 kbps,sometimes below 100.
                          Customer care guys don't seems to know anything about the broadband. They have only one solution to all the problems,"format your computer,sir". It seems a bunch of a**holes have been appointed.
                          If anyone have experienced this problem and have any solution for this please let me know. Thanks in advance.

                            I am using BSNL Broadband 500+ combo plan from about past two years. According to this plan, 175 phone calls are free and internet download limit is 2.5GB and night 2AM-8AM free download. My BSNL phone number is[protected].

                            Untill March 2012, the average bills i used to get where amount INR 662 (including VAT).But in march 2012 i did not receive my bill. The same thing continued till July where i did not receive my bill even after contacting the BSNL Customer care.

                            I later got to know that the billing system of BSNL has been changed from March 2012 onwards.

                            Finally in July i received the bill for past 3 months (Mar-May) which was a shocking amount of INR 9959. I made a mistake by not lodging any enquiry regarding this huge billing and paid the amount.

                            After this each month untill now, i am receiving bill more than INR 2500+ every month till September 2012. The Account officer of BSNL who is responsible for billing is never access able for lodging the complaint.

                            Shockingly the bill amount for the month of August 2012 (which came in Oct) is INR 6500+. I am very sure of my usage not exceeding for such ridiculous high billing.

                            BSNL send message for the register cell number about the usage. The funny part is, i always receive their message saying "Your brodaband free usage has reached 100%" on the first day of the month itself(I would not have switched on my broadband modem itself on the first day). How could this be possible??

                            I don't know wehther the 2AM -8AM free dowload is taken into consideration while billing the usage. BSNL has disconnect my Landline and Broadband for not paying the bill. I anyway wanted to get rid of the connection. But i do not wish to pay excess amount of bills which i have not used.

                            I request the concerned authority to look into this open issue faced by a lot of BSNL users(The similar excessive billing has been a pattern whenever there is change in the billing system of BSNL).

                            The employees at the BSNL Customer Service center are very rude to people who have queries. They act very arrogantly without any dignity(of working for a PSU).

                            Kindly take my case and look into my argument and guide me how i can resolve this issue.

                            I have an BSNL Broadband internet connection, no is[protected]. My plan is Home 500-Combo, where offers are night unlimited b/w(2 a.m-8 a.m), 1.5GB free b/w(8 a.m-2-a.m).no rental charge, no of free calls 175.total bill should come atleast Rs-562/- per month.But for last two months they r sending wrong amounts in my bill. They are charging 180 phone rental and giving only 50 free calls.but according to my plan there should be no phone rental and my free calls should be 175.In the previous month my bill was Rs. 1555 and in this month my bill is Rs. 804I have already launched a complain to BSNL but i am facing the same problem again in this month.
                            In this situation i am requesting u to i would request you to take necessary steps as soon as possible.

                            IRRATIONALITY IN MONTHLY BROADBAND USAGE FOR AUG-SEP 08

                            Sir,

                            1. With due respect I, Major Balak Singh Verma, Consumer No [protected], wants to state that I had been using the bsnl services for landline (No[protected] and broadband since Jan 08. I have been registered for Rural One India plan for landline and Home 250 plan for broadband.

                            2. Since last eight months my usage of broadband and telephone services never exceeded Rs 1000/- per month and an average billing remained within Rs 500/- to Rs 800/-.

                            3. I want to bring to your kind consideration that there is some irrationality in my telephone bill No [protected], covering a period wef 01 Aug to 31 Aug 08. My broadband usage during the month had remained quite usual without any excessive load, yet I have been unusually billed out of proportion for a huge amount of Rs 4510/-.

                            4. Being aware of my free usage of internet for 1 GB, under home plan 250, I never go beyond the authorized free limit, which is quite seemingly visible in my previous eight months billing. It is quite unimaginable that how my usual monthly usage of internet has exceeded 4.7 GBs.

                            5. Taking stock of the daily usage online, on receipt of the bill for Aug 08, it has been noticed that there is a tremendous disparity regarding usage. As a fall out of scrutinizing my online broadband usage, the following anomalies have been noticed.
                            (a) The sudden shift in uniformity in my usage for last six months wef Aug 08 amply proves that excessive billing is a result of some disproportionality somewhere, quite evident from the following figures :-
                            (i) April 08 - 741.184 MB
                            (ii) May 08 - 690.747 MB
                            (iii) Jun 08 - 377.698 MB
                            (iv) Jul 08 - 979.823 MB

                            (b) It has been observed that even during our absence from home the usage of more than 100s of MBs is being reflected online.

                            (d) There are usages shown consecutively round the clock on working day for more than 16 hours for instance on 01 Sep 08, which can never be justified, I being a government employee and my wife being a house wife.

                            (e) The irrationality has been seen drastically creeping in wef 19 Aug 08 till date. Prior 19 Aug 08 there are certain disparities of minor nature.

                            6. It is submitted that I being a government salaried employee, am aware of my monthly expenses and will never go overboard to upset the complete budget of the home. The same had been amply justified by my usages since Jan 08. Hence, you are kindly requested to look into the case for irregularities. As my bill payment date is 30 Sep 08, kindly elucidate the irrationality in time.

                            I have an BSNL Broadband internet connection, my potal id is tir[protected] and my user id is chtiru_kdd. My plan is Home 250, , 1GB free no rental charge, no of free calls75.total bill should come atleast Rs-300/- per month.But for last two months they r sending wrong amounts in my bill. They are charging 180 phone rental and giving only 50 free calls.but according to my plan there should be no phone rental and my free calls should be 75.In the previous month my bill was Rs4643 .this is my first month o[censored]sage and i have not downloaded not more than 1 GB.i[censored] excuse me for this month and reduse my charge i will go for unlimited offer otherwise i am ready to stop your services because i don't know that you will charge for buffering also .
                            In this situation i am requesting u to i would request you to take necessary steps as soon as possible.

                            I have the Broad band connection under plan Rs.500 per month. I was receiving the bills regularly under this plan but unfortunately since the month of October '08 the bill have been prepared under plan of Rs.250/-pm.whict have accounted to excessive billing. I had to switch over to plan of Rs.750/-pm form the month of December '08. Would it be possible to correct the bills for the month of October and November under the plan of initial connection ? Due to confussions I am unable to pay the bills.

                            I am a BSNL Broadband customer. I have been using bsnl broad band for the past 6 or more months. I initially took the HOme500 plan (which is not having rental for phone), then I changed my plan to Unlimited 750 plan with existing feature, which in turn means no rental for phone). Currently my connection is coming under Medavakkam bsnl circle. My details are as follows :

                            I am having a problem with the connection.

                            1. The problem is that instead of repeated complaints every month, I am "BEING CHARGED A RENTAL FOR THE PHONE". I have been constantly complaining through customer care and also through broadband complaints, but I was asked to do it in person. So, I sent one of my friends in person a few months back. But the accounts officer said (without either understanding or trying to understand the scheme which I verified through customer care and the office (sholinganallur) from where I took the connection) that he will charge rental.

                            It is a constant nuisance for me. I can’t go in person every time. So i request you to take necessary actions and stop putting rental and also repay or adjust the rental received from me in the next bills.

                            Please do the needful as soon as possible.

                            I had a broadband connection with your esteemed organisation with my phone number 2463357 (it is in Noida) upto October 2007, when, while updating the services of the network, the BSNL Office here at Noida, had disconnected the broadband service for 15-20 days. When enquired, they had informed that the broadband connection would be restored in a couple of days. Since then, the broadband has not been restored and has not been connected at all till now. On the other hand, they are charging a fixed charge of Rs.250/- per month in my telephone bill. I took the matter several times with the officials concerned, requesting that the broadband connection be disconnected immediately, so that they cannot charge that Rs.250/- in my bill as broadband charges. Once the broadband gets disconnected, then I can apply afresh with a new plan. Hence, I request your goodself to take up the matter with the concerned officials at Noida and instruct them to disconnect the broadband connection with my telephone and not charge the fixed charge of Rs.250/- for broadband with my telephone bill. For this act of kindness, I shall ever be grateful to you, Sir. I also request you that as soon as they had done the same, I may please be informed. My mobile number is [protected]

                            Sir i found my bill to be coming more than amount told to me when i was taking connection. I had Unlimited plan in B.S.N.L. 750 plus but they had started taking extra charge of 120 as fixed charge. which never used to come earlier. This is very unfair with the customer, when they are already paying heavy price or it should be informed before giving connection.

                            BSNL — Unimaginable Bill

                            Hi I am from Pune,

                            I recieved proper bills of around 750 Rs from BSNL for using internet services for first 3 months.
                            But suddenly for fourth month they gave me bill of 7750 Rs which is completely false and unacceptable. They are not helping me with this and just asking for money.

                            BSNL Broadband — HEAVY BILLING WITHOUT MY USAGE

                            I have not used the broadband. BSNL served a heavy billing for Nov. 2010. I complained to the General Manager but to response. I am served with another heavy bill for December 2010. I do not know how to remedy the problem.

                                I have recently got a new sim ([protected]) from BSNL office in Faizabad since my old sim was stolen last month. Although I have recieved the new sim but the balance amount has not been transferred. I tried to recharge it but it could not be recharged. Moreover today the sim was blocked even for incoming calls. Please reactivate the services on my number and transfer the balance as soon as possible.

                                  I have applied for a new telephone connection at naranpura, ahmedabad exchange 2 month ago.We are given tel no. 27910073.We have repeatedly visited Naranpura office but the response from bsnl staff is really disappointing.They are forcing us to take WLL line which is not working well in that area.In that area many peoples are having WLL but all are suffering from poor conectivity etc.Apart from that, I need to use internet also.I requested for the landline but there is no response from anybody.
                                  I request to do the needful in this context as early as possible.

                                    i cant call to customer care. so i dial from my another number ([protected]).
                                    I dialed customer service center and told my problem. A customer care executive asked to hold. After a long time he replied that he's not responsible for this and wait until this complaint will be solved or "if you are in hurry you can take another connection". I asked his number he transferred call to Senior. He also misbehaved .He said to wait more than 2 hours and " you are not only our customer all are waiting why can't you . I never said to take BSNL connection". He said he can cut my connection if he wants. And he threatened me saying he can find my address and will show me.
                                    If he cuts my connection what should i do?

                                    I am a resident of Haliyal o[censored]ttara Kannada District of Karnataka state. I have been( I beleive many others also)facing lots of network failure in the area. I am located just 3 kms((land) and hardly 1 km(air) from the local BSNL tower. Moreover my building where I stay is quite in a high place. It is so disturbing that BSNL network is a constant problem. My mobile shows only 1line ans some times 3-4 but the moment I make a call it disconnects. Cannot think of receiving or making calls from the room. Every time to receive or make any calls I am forced to come out where I could find better network. You are offering so many new packages but what is the use if there is no network? I am losing so much money while making calls. Can you please do something about it so that I can have undisturbed communication ands top wasting money? hope you will do the needful.
