Hello,
Purchased a xiomi phone on 13th feb afternoon. Writing this on 16th feb 9:10pm after much annoyance.
Expected delivery date : 14th feb
Waybill no. [protected]
On much follow up on email, on 16th the tracking details got updated. Recieved a message that the delivery would be attempted on 16th. Am home since then awaiting the delivery man to arrive.
At 8:30pm. Website reads : delivery attempted premises closed.
How is it possible? No door bell, no phone. Now tomorrow i have a commitment and would be travelling, so the house would be closed anyway.
I have bad experience on 3 levels that company needs to look into.
1) it took 3 days for package to reach from ahmedabad to vadodara. (Even a normal courier service provider, delivers next day between these stations.
2) no updation on the delayed schedule if its late, by when would it reach. We are left to wonder about the whereabouts too for 2 days.
3) lie on the attempt of delivery. Delivery not attempted yet updated as attempted and premise closed.
4) no phone call from the delivery boy to even confirm that he has attempted the delivery. I buy quite a lot from online shopping, and delivery boy always gives a call if attempted and not delivered.
We have our schedules and commitments too, and can not keep waiting and adjusting our travel schedules and availability to the convinience of courier companys time.
This is absolutely not expected from a company like bluedart. Absolutely unprofessional handling.
