We purchased a blue star AC from Vijay sales store, Model Town-3, Delhi on 31st March, 2022, invoice no. DMG-B-SI1903. After few days, on 3rd April, to be exact, 2 persons came to install the same at our house. They went to terrace and first took down old outdoor unit and then installed the new Blue Star one. After spending 4 hours to say the least, they were still struggling with the installation. After a while a third person named Salman, was called to check the problem, which after trying for another hour, he told to us that the current cant reach the outdoor unit located on the terrace because there is some underground wiring issue and the only way the AC can be installed is through putting wires openly from AC to terrace. We are talking about 2nd floor here.
It was next day that we got to know from our neighbors on the floor above us that people who had come to install the Blue Star AC had actually taken down their Outdoor Unit instead of ours !!!
Also, they had left the wired naked on the terrace near water tank, where any contact of live wires with water could have wrecked havoc for the entire building and the put the residents life at risk !!!
I had to pay Rs 8000 to another technician to get the things in right place and to add on to that the mental agony I went through can't be explained in words.
I really didn't expect Blue Star to provide such sub standard technicians for installation.
I need refund of Rs 2000 paid as installation charges to Blue Star technicians, along with compensation for the extra cost I incurred due to their blunder, not to mention the strained relations with our neighbors due to the whole incident.
Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.
