no outside food allowed - not even a chocolate energy bar

I visited the cinepolis - magarpatta seasons mal, pune and i were surprised to see the board saying outside food and eatables not allowed. Is it still the case?
The staff didn't even allow to carry the chocolate energy bar with us. This is just pathetic, it was sealed and not used. If cinepolis really do care about the quality, the food, and their cleanliness and all why do they even allow the vendors to sell anything in their premises?...

    money deducted but ticket not booked

    Today i. E., 24.07.2019 i had booked 3 tickets for the movie the lion king 3d (Hindi) at cinepolis website for show on 25th july 2019 at 8:00 p. M.

    The amount (Rs.495) has been debited from my account but i did not receive any ticket booking confirmation by sms or by email and not even on the cinepolis website. Please rectify this issue and confirm my booking through smc and email at the earlier. Or refund the entire amount...

    I live in ahmedabad and frequently watch movies at your cinema at ahmedabad one mall, vastrapur, ahmedabad.

    Over the past 6-9 months the picture quality in all the audis have deteriorated and movie watching experience has become pathetic.

    Despite of the distance from my home, earlier i always watched all 3d movies only at cinepolis, but now avoid going there due to the pathetic picture quality/projection.

    Im writing to you guys as i wish that you take this seriously and get this attended in your own interest.

      Employee refused to give the tickets because we had 500 rupee note and bill was of 360 and he argued that we don’t keep change for everyone, either give us change or use your card then told us to wait and then to the next customer whose bill was 720 and customer gave 1000 rupees. Your employee entertained the next customer and gave him the due change. When we argued for the same that he already had change then why did he refused us.. He started misbehaving. This is how your employees treat your customers.. Worst experience

            Yesterday i went to cinepolis theatre which is located in sector 10 rohini, new delhi.
            3 guys were sitting near my allocated seats and they were consuming alcohol & was creating nuissance there in the entire hall. When we asked them to talk slowly, then they all 3 sat in the stairs and started talking even more loudly. They were whistling and clapping continously for no reason. This kind of behaviour is not at all tolerable in such kind of reputed theatres where we are paying quiet high amount for tickets.
            When we took this matter to the manager, he issued us 2 movie vouchers. He did his best but i am still not satisfied as a customer. Issuing voucher is not the only solution. I expect some good solution from your side.

              I had purchased promotional coupons book from phoenix advertising from mangalore on november 2, 2018. The firm had mentioned the validity to be six months i. E., until end of april. However, the cinepolis mangalore staff informed that it is expired. This is wrong. I reached out to phoenix advertising to solve this issue. They mentioned they are not responsible for this and cinepolis has to resolve this. Because of this chaos, many of my coupons have been unused and it's a loss for me.
              Kindly do the necessary. As of submission of my first complaint (Ticket no. 70733), 22 days had been wasted. I hope the company compensates for the same. I had raised this on april 22, 2019.
              This is my second complaint as i got contacted recently from cinepolis saying offer is extended until june end. Just when there are three days remaining.

                I have booked the ticket for movie "shaada" 6:30 pm show at alpha
                Mall amritsar, my seat numbers are i7, i8, i9, i10. The seats are in sucha a bad shape that we are not able to sit on them specially i7, i8. We have made complaint so many times but staff is not giving any solutions, they have booked the ticket knowing it.
                This is my worst experince till date, the staff is soo unprofessional and unsupportive. They are like we know the sitting is not proper if that is soo why are guys fooling customers by booking those seat. We were out for entertainment and you guys have made the experince like a hell.

                I would request you to ask your manager to sit at those place for full movie and i ll pay for it.

                Soo unprofessional and pathetic, didnt expect this from cinepolis and i will put this experince in online reviews every where i can so that atleast less people are fooled.

                  Made this transaction for buying movie tickets on Cinepolis mobile app for 375 INR on 3rd January 2018. After the payment, when I was back on the application, there was no movie ticket booked under My tickets. I didn't receive any email/sms for the booked tickets.

                  Have been following up with the bank and to your complaint channel through application but no resolution so far. Have spoke on Cinepolis on Facebook chat and they confirmed that the amount will be credited in few days but nothing happened and they stopped replying as well post that.

                    My son and I have been Cinépolis patrons for years. As of today, we have Rs. 100 each in our respective Club Cinépolis accounts. The points expire tomorrow.

                    Today, my son visited Cinépolis - WestEnd Mall (Pune, Maharashtra) to redeem the points and watch a movie. There was another patron along with him who was also trying to redeem his Cinépolis points as well. Unfortunately, they couldn't redeem their points as the OTP did not arrive from Cinépolis. My son tried several times to redeem the points. When he complained, one of the executives said that Cinépolis was facing a network issue and they asked him to wait.

                    He hen met A****T (name censored; he works at Cinépolis - WestEnd Mall). When he realised that my son won't leave, he started insisting that my son and his service provider are at fault and Cinépolis severs are working perfectly. My son asked, "If my service provider is the one to blame then how am I receiving OTPs and SMSs from other apps and services?" As expected, he had no answer.

                    He waited for some more time to see whether he would come and help my son. As expected, he completely ignored him.

                    When he walked past the waiting area inside the theatre, he saw my son. He just wanted him to leave. My son finally understood that A****T was the kind of person who preferred to ignore problems instead of solving them. He approached him. This irascible man showed his true colour, he raised his voice and categorically blamed my son and his service provider for the OTP issue. He flippantly said that my son can slog at the mall as long as he wants because he doesn't care and nothing is going to happen to him. My son raised his voice and told him that his arrogant attitude is a blot on Cinépolis. In the end, he won because my son left the theatre.

                    Now back to the point redemption issue. As of today, we have Rs. 100 each in our respective Club Cinépolis accounts. The points expire tomorrow. I tried to redeem the points on the Cinépolis website, the OTP did not arrive. Cinépolis now allow users to redeem Club Cinépolispoints on the Bookmyshow website, we tried that as well. Similarly, the OTP did not arrive. We enquired with Bookmyshow about the problem, what they had to say made me indignant, they informed me that several users have been facing the same issue and that there are certain network issues at Cinépolis' end since today morning. So, my son and his network provider were blamed for something he was not at all responsible for.

                    People like A****T are a blot on your status as one of the best multiplex chains in the world, Cinépolis.

                    My son and I need to be compensated for this point-redemption issue. We are not at fault. We cannot be held responsible for your network issues.

                    I am making this public because I know Cinépolis will ignore the truth and act like nothing has happened.

                      Hello Sir/Madam

                      His mail regarding no proper response from ETA mall cinepolis staff regarding the bill which purchased 2 month back 54 ticket and for same we requested him bill to claim in our company but from 2 month we are requesting him but he refusing us , his how your staff show customer service?( very bad service )

                      Finally after 2 month we got there is no use of requesting with the ETA mall cinepolis staff.

                      There option to give the invoice we previously got and we informed the same to him but he didn't try .

                      So I am requesting you now help on his issue kindly help by providing invoices for 54 ticket at each ticket price is 266rs total 14364/ and we don't want claim any GST .

                      We know the employees name but I don't to mention.

                      Because of the ETA mall cinepolis staff bad experience, we lost the exaptation on the the company (cenipolis) it resulted to loss of54 loyal customer and if company doesn't take proper action the then company will be under Risk .

                        parking fee charges and food charges are too high

                        Cinepolis theater management is collecting parking fees which supposed to be free of cost.

                        Food prices are too high in Cinepolis theater cafeteria. For ex : small pop corn costs 250 INR

                        Please take action against parking fees collection and food, beverages charges which are too expensive.

                        Middle class families like me can’t afford these prices...

                        Dear cinepolis, I am a regular moviegoer and I visit cinepolis very often . Recently I visited cinepolis manjeera mall kphb twice with in a gap of a week . Both the times the options I choose where out of stock like pasta Greek salad lemonade and to my surprise, yesterday when I asked to give me a medium coke .the person over the counter told me medium coke is not available and go with a larger one . It costs u only 10rs extra .
                        My major problem is I went to have a medium coke if it is not there I will decide what to take, wether to go with a larger one or to choose some other drink . Who the hell is he to tell me to take large coke for extra 10, that to very harshly . Fully dissatisfied with this I asked him to call the manager . The person at the counter his name is rishikanth .he called the manager and his name is vamshi (not sure ) . To my utter shock after hearing every thing what he said is "sir why is this argument for 10rs take the larger one " he didn't even scolded the person on duty infact he harshly replied to me that take a larger one which not went well with me . After this incident I went inside the auditorium and watched your new ad regarding coustomer Seva . But at manjeera mall cinepolis every time I go I never find any of your employees doin coustomer Seva . Infact they are troubling .
                        Recently u have introduced been menu with 100 verieties, but at this multiplex more than 80 percent items from the menu wont be available .
                        I want an written explanation from the person who had harsh talk with me and I need explanation from u guys what action u r going to take to make this never happen again . I[censored] didn't bother u will loose some loyal coustomers like me .

                            No availability of disposable water cups in such a big theatre... really disappointing ...I asked d snacks corner... everyone said no we don't have... neither did dey bother to give... really disgusting...when it comes to money dey come to Ur seat to ask order...and for a glass of water no one bothers...will never prefer Cinepolis for watching movie now onwards ... disgusting staff

                              Dear Cinepolis team,

                              Why you are vesting time of costumer by putting so many advertisements. It is horrible and too much irritating.
                              We are paying 230 rs. Per head for watching movie not for watching advertisement.

                              You have not right for vesting costumers time. It is very horrible to see advertisement for 20-30 minutes in 2 hrs movie. Is it joke with us. We are vesting money as well as time also. They have to limit time for advertisement during movies.

                              Please limit advertisement otherwise I will not watch movie in cinepolis.

                                Used my card to pay in coffee tree for a coffee. My card was swiped
                                Twice but the transaction was not complete and finally i paid rs. 140/- in

                                  Sir/madam,
                                  Yesterday, 02.06.2019, my husband and i went for a movie at cinepolis, acropolis. Godzilla ii was the name of the movie, audi 2, seat no. J 1, 2, time 08.05pm.in the interval we ordered for chilli garlic potato and paid rs.185 for the same to the respective person, who was asking for any order for the munchies inside the hall. He took the money and told us that the food will be delivered within 15-20mins. However, the sad part is, it never came. As i am a pregnant lady, i was in a bit hurry to go back home. The very moment the show ended we headed back home, where we realised that we paid rs.185 for nothing. Is this the kind of service you render, keeping incompetant people at work!! Can we even call it a service, or is it a theft!? Rs.185 is a small amount, but we, as a customer, expected loyalty from you. I want the management to be proactive enough to look into the matter.
