I have sent this complaint on 5th may but nobody bothered to contact me nor has the issue got resolved.

I had booked 2 tickets for a movie – vinci da show time 05:05 pm on friday 3rd may 2019 at cinepolis: acropolis mall, kolkata (Audi 2).

The tickets were booked at 2:32 pm on 3rd may 2019.

Ticket amount – rs 380/- quantity -2 tickets.

Internet handling fees-51.92

Booking fees 44.00

Gst 7.92

Confirmation#2186230

Booking id wbe8fn7

That day as per the instruction of the wb government as a security measure all malls were asked to close down at 03:00 pm due to cyclone “phani”. This decision was taken the day before or during the early hours of the day (3rd may 2019).

However, you all did nothing to update the booking portal. At 2:32 pm when i booked the ticket through “book my show”, i as a customer was not aware of the mall’s decision to close business at 03:00 pm nor did you update a pop up in the portal which should have shown shows have been cancelled as a security measure, when i was booking the tickets.

My tickets got booked successfully & also a sms was triggered to me confirming my booking.

When i reached the premises i found the mall was closed and only then did i come to know that this was decided from the very start of the day.

Now can you please advise why did you accept a booking when you already knew the shows were cancelled.

As a company you surely have a responsibility towards your customers.
I would ask you to immediately refund the money.

    Hi,

    Please let me know if you have cameras installed in screening room.

    If yes, what about the privacy of people? Why is people not made aware about the same before movie starts? This will be privacy threat for people.

    I have left my wallet inside theater and it was not there when i revisited after movie. I asked cinepolis people watch cctv footage but they declined. Cctv not installed is the answer from cinepolis workers.

      Good day,

      I went to cinema star at high street mall, majiwada thane-w yesterday (04/05/19) along with my family to watch kalank movie show at 10:35 pm in audi 3.
      After the interval when we purchased a snack, i have by mistake lost my wallet in the audi 3.
      I have realised this today (05/05/19) morning that my wallet is missing. As used my wallet during interval and directly came to our house by car after a movie so there is no chance of loosing it somewhere else.
      When i didnt found the wallet at home in the morning, i have complaint it to local staff at cinemastar which they refused.

      I think little more effort can be here as i am not worried about the cash which could be 700/- but mainly identities are important.

      Kindly intervene.

        I have booked 3 tickets for avengers endgame for 4th may at cinepolis acropolis mall (Seats j19, 18 & 17). After booking i received an email with the booking confirmation (Booking no.2184640) and also an sms with a link to download the m-ticket, but whenever i try to download the m-ticket, i only get a blue screen. The sms also mentions that i will not be allowed inside if i don't download the m-ticket. Please help urgently.

          We went to watch avengers end game on 30 april at cinepolis spice mall in noida.
          The acs were not working in most part of the movie. The theatre was severely suffocated and it was difficult to sit. Depsite requesting the staff to please check.. The response received was very casual. We still had to sit through the entire movie struggling to sit in suffocation.
          No one is paying heavy ticket amounts to sit in such conditions where we cant even watch the much awaited movie properly.

            Dear sir / madam,

            I am writing this letter to complain about the problem i faced yesterday at your cinema. Yesterday, i had came with my family to watch the movie “avengers - the end game ”. The movie was long awaited and i must say that we did not enjoy the movie at all. And, we were much disappointed as we visit your movie theater whenever the new movie is released and now i have too see these kind of nonsense. The point of displeasure was the screen as your screen was very bad and are getting older and older day by day. The screen was blur and we were not able to see it properly. The movie was 3d and we were provided 3d goggles respectively, when we had wear the goggles the screen was not able to see properly. There was a sound stop for 2 to 3 second in movie and it had happened for 2 times. And also of movie was too bad. Please see too it that the problem is been solved. I hope you will consider the complaint. Please give prompt resolution so that other people may not face the same problem. Hope to visit soon after resolution.

              I booked for avengers endgame via cine polis website. I paid through upi pin and it got debited but i didn't receive the tickets. I hope someone would pay heed to this. This is very unethical of cine polis. Shame on you.

              I unfortunately booked for another 1 also. I'm a student and losing 550 is a big amount for me. I feel beyond angry and frustrated. I don't know whom to ask for the money now.

              Comolaint regarding the unhealthy atmosphere in Cinepolis.
              Cinepolis charging very heavy amout from us approx 280/- per ticket and you can easly found the mosquitos in audi and common area too.

                Today i[protected] booked tickets online through cinepolis site and paid through google pay upi pin and money debited but no tickets received.

                This is highly unethical and unacceptable from a organisation like cinepolis. I was a logal customer but from now i will avoid and even warn people to avoid cinepolis.
                The tickets i had booked was of avengers end game (2nd may show) and i was asked to do more for my cousins but now i will not.
                I wish to get help from cinepolis.

They have cancelled my tickets without any information and denying to give me compensation. And my tickets are showing on my purchase history of BookMyShow.                       Hey Cinepolis India, I tried contacting with all those numbers on internet, also mailed some request for the app, but it doesn't look like anything musch is happening. So I am trying now here.
                      I booked a ticket through Cinepolis Android app, at Cinepolis- Esplanade Bhubaneswar, today on 25.04.2019 for the movie Avengers:END Game(3D-Eng) for the 27rh April 2019 11:55 AM show. I paid it through UPI, and have a transaction ID[protected], but the ticket wasn't booked. I didn't expect this from Cinepolis. Kindly look after it soon, give me the exact ticket or refund me the money.

                          I have booked two tickets through cinepolis website at cinepolis esplanade bhubaneswar on 24.04.2019 for the movie avengers:end game (3d-eng) for the 11:55 am show. I have received booking confirmation mail and one sms for downloading the m-ticket.

                          But, the link in the sms for downloading the m-ticket is not opening.

                          Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.

                            m-ticket link is not working

                            Hello,
                            I have booked 4 tickets for 27th april 2019 show at 3:35 pm for avengers:endgame movie show in season's mall pune.

                            I used the app to book the tickets and paid using credit card. The sms that i received contains a link from cinepolis to download the m tickets and the link does not work.
                            I have received the confirmation email of this purchase via email but i'm unable to download the m tickets as the link...

The amount 1015 was deducted from my credit card and i received confirmation email and sms as well. But there is no m-ticket in the link mentioned in the sms.                               My wife bookes 2 tickets for avengers endgame on 21st april for the 9.15 show on the 26th at royal meenakshi mall cinepolis theater in bangalore.
                              My wife chose the m ticket and then paid for it. She received a link for the mticket which will simply show a blue screen. We tried multiple mobiles etc with no help. She did not even receive an email confirmation. All we have is the print of the confirmation in their website. I did email cinepolis as they do not have customer helpline. No reply or acknowledgment from their end.
                              Forget international standards, this theater doesn't even have any standards. Always i used bookmyshow which works well. This is the second time this issue has happened on their website. They do not even maintain their website well.
                              I have seen many people complaining on online forums. This issue has to be taken up seriously and resolved. There is no customer support from these people and this is the last time me and my family will ever visit cinepolis. At least pvr is much better in customer handling.

                                I booked 2 imax avengers endgame tickets for sun 10:15 pm show via cinepolis application.

                                I received a booking confirmation on my email id and i was charged for the same...
                                However, the tickets did not show up on the "my tickets" section of the application. On top, the m-ticket received on via sms does not work!

                                Now i do not know whether my tickets are booked or not! Revert asap!

                                  Worst part, there is no contact number, no email id where we can report our issues.

                                    I had purchased a promotional coupon book from phoenix advertising from mangalore on november 2, 2018. The firm had mentioned the validity to be six months i. E., until end of april. However, the cinepolis mangalore staff informed that it is expired. This is wrong. I reached out to phoenix advertising to solve this issue. They mentioned they are not responsible for this and cinepolis has to resolve this. Because of this chaos, many of my coupons have been unused and it's a loss for me.
                                    Kindly do the necessary. As of submission, 22 days have been wasted. I hope the company compensates for the same.

                                      Today 21st april 2019, i paid for booking of avenger movie via transaction number :[protected]igafyzbvm7 an amount of rs. 281 for the show dated 26th april 2019 for the show tuned 2.20 at the cinepolis eta mall, bangalore.

                                      But the ticket wasn't booked but the amount was charged to my bank account.

                                      Kindly credit back my amount or reconfirm the same booking at the earliest.
