Hi,

As per MOCA and DGCA guidelines and rules pertaining to refund of flight booking charges due to Covid-19 pandemic/Lockdown, i seek immediate refund of my flight booking charges as per details as under please:

Flight sector ; Delhi-Kolkata ;
Date of Travel: 26th March 2020;
Trip ID: [protected] ;
Flight : AI-20/PNR: JL05E.(Air India).

Flight sector: Delhi-Kolkata ;
Date of Travel :27th June 2020;
Flight : UK-705.(Vistara Airlines).
This flight was rescheduled by Vistara Airlines to 28th June 2020.
It was yet again rescheduled by Vistara Airlines to 29th June 2020.
PNR Details:W6CFNP/QFJPST.

Since i had to reach Kolkata on 28th June 2020 due to work compulsions, Vistara Airlines agreed to cancel my Vistara Airlines ticket with FULL REFUNDS, as it was Vistara Airlines which was postponing my booked flight with Vistara Airlines. The uner mentioned pasting of emails with Vistara Airlines will confirm about the above mentioned please.

Accordingly, as per all relevant details, i request for immediate refund of all my expended amount in line with DGCA & MOCA rules on FULL REFUND due Covid-19.

Subject: Non refund of cancelled Vistara Airlines air ticket(Delhi-Kolkata sector) money.

This is to bring to your kind attention that i was booked to fly Vistara Airlines on Delhi-Kolkata sector on 27th June 2020 by UK 705, but a email from Vistara Airlines confirmed that the said flight has been rescheduled for 28th June 2020 at 7.20 hrs.

This flight was yet again rescheduled for 29th June 2020 by Vistara email of 27th June 2020, ie, the UK705 scheduled earlier to fly from Delhi to Kolkata at 7.20 hrs was yet again rescheduled for 29th June 2020 at 7.20 hrs. My PNR:QFJPST.

Since my scheduled works in Kolkata could not be postponed, i had no options but to request Vistara Customer Care to cancel my Vistara flight bookings, and i had to immediately book another airlines for my travel on 28th June 2020 from Delhi-Kolkata sector. I was also confirmed by Vistara Airlines Customer Care that full refund will be applicable to me against the cancellations as it was not the fault of me as passenger, but Vistara Airlines was rescheduling their flights.

Now as my bookings was done through ClearTrip.com, i have not been refunded any amount till date by ClearTrip.com as they confirm that refund will be made only after deductions for cancellations. Now this is against the telephonic advice given to me by Vistara Airlines Customer Care that they have given full refund to ClearTrip.com.

Further, i also would like to draw attention to decisions of DGCA as also Ministry of Civil Aviation whereby 100% refund will be given to passengers who cancelled bookings during the period due to CORONAVIRUS Pandemic.

As ClearTrip.com is being unfair in imposing deductions on my full refunds, kindly forward me a copy of email, if any sent to ClearTrip.com for my full refund of my money . this is needed by me to fight this matter with ClearTrip.com so that they are not unjust to me and immediate full refund is given to me.

An early reply back alongwith a copy of email of Vistara to ClearTrip.com be forwarded earliest convenience please.

    I had booked a flight ticket with cleartrip from Abu Dhabi to Sydney on 18 September 2020 to fly on 6th of November. After a week I cancelled my ticket from cleartrip website and they told me that the ticket will be refunded in 60 days (by 22 November 2020). I have been following up with them since then but they are not responding and initiating the refund request to Etihad. Its been 3 months now and I am still waiting for refund. I have contacted them via phone call, web complaints, twitter and each time they tell me that they will resolve this in 48 hours. Please help me to get my refund. I have contacted the airline (Etihad Airways) as well and they are saying that they did not receive any refund request from cleartrip. Clearly cleartrip is not interested in refunding my ticket money. These are hard times due to covid and I really need the money to survive. I would really appreciate your help in this regard.

      Flight got cancelled due to COVID-19.
      Applied refund on 20th Aug and got confirmation that ticket cancellation is confirmed.
      It was mentioned it may take up to 60 days.

      I did wait for 60 days and followed up in Oct'2020 and got response that awaiting from airline.
      Again folowed in Nov11 Nov, 24 Nov and 7 dec but received same response.

      I would like to lodge a complaint against as I am not sure how long it will take to get my refund.

        My Trip ID[protected] has been cancelled on Oct-23rd 2020, 11:47AM. The airline (Indigo) cancelled the flight.
        for which the refund Rs. 10, 603.00 has been processed successfully on Oct 23 2020, 11:48AM.

        I did not receive the refund amount, I have contacted Customer Support(Email) and repeated calls to call center, they has the same response - "We would like to inform that your booking which was cancelled on Oct 23 2020, 11:47AM for which the refund Rs. 10, 603.00 has been processed successfully on Oct 23 2020, 11:48AM. The amount should reflect in 5-7 working days to your original mode of payment."

        Since Oct-23rd 2020, the amount has still not been credited to my original mode of payment.

        45 DAYS GONE (till 07th December 2020) BUT THE AMOUNT IS NOT CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT

        This is looking like a scam and fraudulent action from Cleartrip.

        I would request you to please expedite this matter so that a resolution could be reached.

        Please refund my amount.

          I cancelled my trip from sgr to dubai with PNR NUMBER HWWQQH on March but still I didn’t get my refund from your side, can you please tell me what is the problem why you guys are not refunding my amount.this is my 6th mail but no reply from your side

            I purchased 2 round trip tickets for my children from Bangkok, Thailand to Washington D.C. USA. The flight was scheduled for June 7th, 2020.

            Due to COVID, the airline canceled the flight.

            As of December 7, 2020 - 5 months later - Cleartrip has not provided a refund for the tickets.

            I made a payment of 1, 50, 246 - and have not received a sing rupee refund.

            Cleartrip has been saying that they are waiting for the airline to approve the refund, but this cannot be true.

            At the same time, I purchased these tickets, I purchased 3 other tickets for other family members on the same flight, but with a different return flight date. Fortunately, I purchased these through Expedia. I received a cash refund from Expedia within 2 weeks of the flight cancelation - in late June, 2020.

            Cleartrip is lying to me and cheating me of 1, 50, 246 rupees!

              I had booked 3 flights from Dubai to Chennai (PNR-OKOBGL) cost AED1398 but I had to cancel my flight due to personal emergency and rebook for another date. While cancelling, the refund amount showed was AED 1098 because of which I proceeded to cancel my ticket.
              After some time I got a mail from cleartrip saying they had to deduct the airline charges which were not specified at all while cancelling my tickets and I ended up with 0 refund.
              While booking the tickets it clearly showed that the tickets would be *refundable* and moreover I had to call the airline and register my flight separately.
              After speaking to the customer care official, I was told that nothing could be done now.
              This is illegal withholding of information from your part.
              Pls do look into my matter Asap.

                  My name is Hetal Shah and I booked Lufthansa Airline tickets via Cleartrip on 6 Jan 2020(Trip ID[protected]. My multiple attempts of reaching out to Cleartrip Support have all absolutely gone in vain with no appropriate response on my full refund status.

                  We were three friends who had planned to travel to Italy in August 2020 however due to the pandemic, we couldn't travel. In fact, Lufthansa Airline cancelled our flights and emailed us on September 11, 2020 that since the flight was cancelled from their end, all passengers booked on the flight were eligible for a full refund. Cleartrip Support is marked on this email too and have attached the screenshot of the same for everyone to see.

                  The airline has also put a note on my PNR - NBT6BS for Cleartrip Support team that I am eligible for a full refund.

                  Inspite of all this, Cleartrip Support team has been extremely unprofessional and is constantly recommending me two options: Open ticket or cancellation with only a partial refund. In order to cross check this I spoke to airline once again and they told me that you are still eligible for a full refund and there will be no fee towards partial cancellation as suggested by cleartrip.

                  I am aware of the fact that some of the passengers have already received their refunds however others like me, are being harassed with no concrete response. I am able to state this with confidence as my friend who booked his ticket separately with a trip id[protected] has already been given a full refund which was remitted to the source account at least a month ago from now.

                  Therefore, I was forced to raise a complaint with the Consumer Helpline against Cleartrip, hoping that they would respond. Here is the grievance number for your reference too - 2418198.

                  We have been facing pay cuts and are feeling the pinch of the lack of funds. However, its absolutely unfair for Cleartrip to not refund the full amount and give illogical options inspite of giving proof from the airline.

                  I desperately urge you to me get my full refund.

                    Dear concern, i tried to book a flight ticket from mumbai to lucknow through clear trip app on 17 sep 20. During payment my account was debited with 4350 but booking was not completed. It showed some error.I waited for 7 days as it generally takes 5-7 business days to refund.Now its 2 months and my money is still not credited to my account.

                      I have booked tickets Mum-Chennai-Mumbai through your portal. Due to COVID-19 those flights were cancelled, and I was issued credit shell by the respective airlines.

                      As advised by the Airline, to book fresh tickets against credit shell, we were asked to approach travel agents or online travel portals, the source of booking, in our case it is cleartrip.com

                      Past one week, I have been trying through to connect your customer care number [protected] and through mails to your csff.support without any help. Every time we complained, we get a response mail from CSFF to provide details of the fliers, which we have done so diligently. However, your customer care executives have failed and neglected to resolve my problem or allowed me to use this credit shell.

                      Since I could not get your nodal officer contact details (not available in your official portal) for escalation, I am forced to write to you with my grievances. Request you to advise your executives to resolve my grievances immediately, failing which I will be forced to approach the consumer forum at your own cost and consequences, which please note

                          Flexifly - Digit Insurance is a hoax and so is their Customer Care

                          I booked a flight from Trivandrum - Hyderabad for the 27th of December 2020 (Trip Id:[protected] under the Flexifly plan (paying extra than actual charges) with an option of allowing me to reschedule my flight once.

                          Later, due to change of plans, I rescheduled the flight to the 2nd of January on the Cleartrip website and Cleartrip assured me that Digit Insurance would get in touch with me and refund the rescheduling charges...

                          While booking flight ticket at cleartrip, Tansaction of rs. 4364 on dated 13.10.2020 at 11.16 PM at cleartrip through airtel money wallet is successful having transaction I'd [protected] and RRN number [protected]. But ticket not booked. cashback of Rs.250/- against the transaction ID [protected] dated 13/10/2020 has already been credited to your Airtel Money Wallet no. 78xxxx504 with transaction ID FT[protected].
                          Cleartrip denied to refund rs. 4364 and told that not received this amount though Cashback of rs. 250 issued by cleartrip in Airtel money on 13.10.2020 for this transaction. Attched screenshot of Airtel money transaction as well as SMS as a proof.

                            Due to the Coronavirus pandemic situation, the prescheduled travel didn’t work out well as the flight had been cancelled by the company. So I had asked for a refund as rescheduling the travel date will not work for me. Despite making too many calls to your customer care department, they were not able to return the money back to my account. So, I had approached the Airline company (Air India Express) directly and got informed that my money had been credited to your account. I will attached email copy from the Airline company dated July 2020. Even though, I forwarded this mail to your customer care department, I only got informed that you are yet to get the money back from the company and you will notify me to my contact number[protected] or via to the mail ID ([protected]@gmail.com) after a thorough check. I’m still waiting for your response and I called many times but I didn't receive any positive response so far.

                            so this is my last hope to get my hard earned money.

                                  Please never use Cleartrip. I had booked a ticket for my friend under freedom fare something they had when I was booking a ticket for her. With freedom fare, there is zero cancellation fees and you get your entire money back with even the fees included. They of course charge an extra amount for this. I bought a one way ticket for AED 529 with taxes and fees. I paid an extra AED 86 for freedom fare so when I request for a refund, I can get the full amount back. I cancelled the ticket and they gave me a refund of only AED224, that too after months of wait. I emailed them like 5 times over the course of 4 months and received the automated message saying you will receive a reply in 72 hours and last message there was absolutely no response. They have no phone no to call and chat option when you go to their site.

                                  Cleartrip is clearly looting people. I paid the extra money so I don’t loose any money. It may not be much but It’s hard earned money and imagine if they do this to many people how much money are they grabbing. It’s ridiculous and totally unprofessional and unethical from cleartrip’s side.

                                      I have booked my tickets using ClearTrip ( Trip ID[protected].

                                      The trip was cancelled due to COVID19 and it was announced that Cleartrip will refund full amount (AED 3447.0).

                                      I got the refund AED 696.00 only!!! .. Now I am looking into the description it says all sort of deductions including "Wallet cashback charges" which is AED2, 176.00!!.

                                      This is never expected and how can it be called as Covid19 FULL REFUND...

                                      Please help.
