I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with Club Mahindra regarding the cancellation of my membership and the refusal to process a refund. Despite my anticipation of exciting vacations and memorable experiences, I have yet to undertake any trip due to the constraints imposed on me to book way in advance.

When I decided to become a Club Mahindra member, I was enticed by the promises of delightful holidays at numerous exotic locations across the country. The sales representative assured me of the flexibility to plan trips based on my availability and preferences. Regrettably, this turned out to be far from reality.

One of the significant reasons for my decision to invest in the Club Mahindra membership was the expectation of having the freedom to plan my trips at my convenience. However, I was dismayed to discover that reservations had to be made well in advance, often months ahead of the intended travel date. This rigid booking policy has severely restricted my ability to utilize the membership effectively, especially considering the unpredictability of my work schedule and family commitments.

Furthermore, as I had not been able to undertake any trips, I promptly decided to cancel my Club Mahindra membership. I followed all the cancellation procedures as outlined in the membership agreement and contacted your customer service department. To my surprise and dismay, I faced an unreasonable refusal of my cancellation request and the subsequent refund.

As a consumer, I have the right to make choices that align with my needs and circumstances. The refusal to process a refund has caused me considerable financial strain, as the membership fees represent a significant investment for my family. I believe that Club Mahindra has an ethical obligation to respect the cancellation requests of its customers and process refunds accordingly, especially when no services or benefits have been availed.

In light of the aforementioned circumstances, I am left with no choice but to request the following actions:

1. Immediate cancellation of my Club Mahindra membership with no further impediments or delays.
2. An expeditious refund of the membership fees to the original payment method.
3. A thorough review and revision of the booking policy to allow for more flexible reservation options that cater to the needs of the members.

I sincerely hope that Club Mahindra will address my concerns seriously and take appropriate steps to rectify this matter promptly. As a reputed and customer-centric organization, I trust that Club Mahindra values its customers' satisfaction and will work towards ensuring a positive experience for all its members.

I request a response to this complaint within 14 days from the receipt of this letter. Failure to provide a satisfactory resolution will leave me with no alternative but to seek legal assistance and escalate the matter to relevant consumer protection agencies.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution of the issues outlined above.

    We Sadhana Bhagat (Member) & Omkar Mahimkar (Co-Member) member of Club Mahindra since Tue, 16th Dec, 2014. Our Membership No: 2608267, Purple - Studio, There is no EMI Due (We paid our last EMI on 7th March 2023) on our account. ASF is already paid and the due date is 21st October 2023. Please find attached all screenshots & Tax sheet for reference/ Knowledge.

    Now the complaint is we are blocked...

    Hi Team,
    I requested for cancellation of my membership on 7th day of purchasing as there were a lot of terms and conditions which were not communicated to me while I was purchasing and I was lied about a few things. I have not received any kind o[censored]pdate or response post the initial email that I will get a call back within 3-5 working days. It's been around 2 weeks now and I have called multiple times but still no resolution or update. I have written multiple emails and have not received any reply.

[protected] urgently and refund me the 100% amount i.e. 52, 273 as soon as possible as I am cancelling it in just one day after purchasing the membership and before the 15 days period which is your company policy for 100% refund . I am cancelling my membership because I was misguided and misinformed by the team regarding the terms and conditions of the membership and after reading the terms and conditions that were in writing I won't be able to continue my membership due to financial reasons.so please cancel my membership and refund my 100% amount.

        I took club mahindra membership on 5th March, cancelled it on 8th march. Its been 90 days, not a single response on my mails, no callbacks, nothing. I called them more than 20-25 times to please refund my money before my international travel, but they keep saying we will call you back for sure, but never happened, not even a single time. I never complained about the salesperson who didn't clearly told us the advantages/ disadvantages of the package, which we realised later. We cancelled the package as we were travelling internationally for 4-5 months. I told them multiple times that I will be unreachable once I went, but they do not do anything. Its already crossed 90 days, I should be paid with refund and extra insterest for waiting so long and getting disturbed and frustrated for making so many calls. The service is tooo bad. Even myntra says that refund in 7-10 days, but they work on priority and refund in max 1 -2 days.

        But the club Mahindra works opposite, they waste 60-70 days first, then work in last 10 days to refund, that too frustrating a person mentally. But this time, 90 days are crossed and no refund. What should I do. I really needed the money before my international travel. I should have never trusted club mahindra. Its just 5 days to my travel. Please refund my money, and pay for my mental torture as well. Thanks in advance.

        Acc to the policy, my money was ro be refunded in max 90 days. I got a mail after 100 days that they have accepted my cancellation and will refund the money in next 90 days. Means it is already saying they will take more than 200 days. Is this the service provided by club mahindra, who itself contradicts his policy. I need my refund asap with the compensation amount now. I spend so much of time in asking for my money, I called 25-30 times and requested and pleaded to refund my money on time. I am done now. Need my money back with compensation now.

          I have had a very bad experience where I was not able to get a room as a Purple member of Club Mahindra, but could get the same room online on a travel portal. This incident happened in Madikeri on 21st of April 2022, and since then I have complained regarding this. I have sent several maybe even 100's of emails and spoken to low level officials, whose response are cut and paste responses which do not answer specific concerns. The concerned top officials, Anupam Srivastava and Meghana Desai have not had the courtesy to respond. They are tarnishing the fair reputation of the Mahindra's. Deeply disappointed as a Club Mahindra Member.

            On 7th May'23, I applied for club membership(WHITE SEASON) and paid Rs 67614 (Sixty seven thousand six hundred and fourteen rupees only). But to some unexpected situation, we requested Club Mahindra to cancel our membership(on 10th May 23) and refund our registration amount after deducting the taxes (as mentioned in their membership application form). We also requested them to cancel the EMI mandate, which was provided during registration for availing of the white season membership. But we are still waiting for a reply from their side, even after several reminders.

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue regarding the cancellation and refund of my Club Mahindra membership. Despite following the prescribed procedure and submitting my cancellation request within the specified time frame, I have not received any satisfactory response or updates regarding the refund status.

              On 12/06/2023, I applied to cancel my Club Mahindra membership within the stipulated 15-day period, as per the terms and conditions outlined in the membership agreement. According to Club Mahindra's policy, I am entitled to a refund if the cancellation request is made within the specified time frame. However, I have faced extreme difficulties in obtaining the refund owed to me.

              I have made numerous attempts to contact Club Mahindra's customer support team through email and phone, but I have been met with silence and a lack of responsiveness. This lack of communication and delay in addressing my concerns is highly disappointing. As a consumer, I have the right to expect clear communication, prompt resolution, and adherence to the agreed-upon terms and conditions.

              During my recent contact with Club Mahindra's support team, I was informed that my request is pending with the sales team. I am perplexed as to why the involvement of the sales team is causing a delay in processing my refund. This delay is unnecessary and unacceptable. I urge you to investigate this matter and ensure that my refund request is addressed promptly and appropriately.

              Enclosed with this letter, I have attached copies of all relevant documentation, including the membership cancellation request, proof of timely submission, and previous correspondences for your reference. These documents provide evidence of my legitimate claim for a refund and the unresponsiveness I have encountered from Club Mahindra's customer support team.

              I kindly request your intervention in this matter and seek your assistance in resolving the unnecessary delay and non-compliance displayed by Club Mahindra. Such unprofessional behavior and disregard for customer concerns are not acceptable, and I believe it is within your purview to take appropriate action against Club Mahindra to ensure consumer rights are upheld.

              I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and attention it deserves. I appreciate your commitment to protecting consumer rights and maintaining fair business practices. I eagerly await a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this issue.

                I have cancelled the club Mahindra membership as soon i took it due to all the false promises made by theirs sales team...i am constantly following up with them for my refund of 1.98 lakh... membership I'd 3005893...plz refund my hard earned money

                  As I had complaint against uninformed charges and wrong details about packages and want refund of my money on 31st May for my member id- 3008331.
                  I have received 2 calls from their executive. In first call, he has just listened all the details and asked to come back with proper solution. but, there's no such update.
                  After 20 days, I have received another call by one of their executive threatening, " we'll not refund your money at any cost". Also, asking; "you have not signed on club mahindra paper that this facility will be given". so, you can't claim anything.
                  I was complete shocked, like; is this the way they use to treat or behave with clients?. It means, they're Fraud and Cheaters.

                  kindly do something and help with refund. I have no such money to loose.

                      The reason being whenever I tried to book rooms, the reply is the rooms are full and we prioritize people with higher premium first.

                      Also, I wasn't intimated with the monthly payment of Rs.8000+ while signing up for membership.

                        Dear Sir
                        1. I have been approached by club mahindra team in the month of May for a special presentation on their packages at Hotel Poppys, Madurai.
                        2. They promised to give me 2 days holiday in their resort for attending the presentation itself.
                        3. Going through the presentation I joined their membership on 2nd May 2023, in white suite with a down payment of INR 67, 614.00 and balance in 12 EMI’s.
                        4. Last week when I requested for the booking it was denied saying I have to pay 3 EMI’s upfront.
                        5. First of all this information is new for me as it was not mentioned at the time of joining.
                        6. At present I could not pay the additional amount due to various personnel reasons .
                        7. Due to my daughters education it is not possible to plan any holidays for the next 3 years.
                        8.With the above said reasons as a family we have decided to cancel my membership.
                        9. When I inform the above to club mahindra they are refusing to cancell my membership and still insisting me to pay the full amout to cancel the membership.
                        10. I have not at all utilised any of their services even the 2 days holiday offer promised by them for attending their presentation.

                        Since we have not utilized any special offers or any other services from club mahindra, I hereby submit my complain and request you to do the needful process to refund my initial payment of INR 67, 614(Sixty seven thousand six hundred and fourteen only) at the earliest.

                          I hope this email finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to bring a serious matter to your attention regarding the unjust cancellation of my Club Mahindra membership without any prior notice or communication.

                          Firstly, let me express my deep disappointment and frustration with the manner in which Club Mahindra has handled my membership during these challenging times. In the wake of the pandemic and the subsequent financial strain it imposed on my family, I had reached out to Club Mahindra, requesting a temporary pause on my membership payments. This request was made in good faith, with the hope that the company would understand the difficulties faced by many of its members.

                          Regrettably, since submitting my request, I have not received any communication from Club Mahindra regarding the status of my membership. Despite repeatedly trying to reach out to them via email and phone calls, I have been met with silence and indifference. It is only recently that I discovered, to my shock, that my membership has been canceled without any notification or explanation.

                          I would like to emphasize that I have been a loyal and dedicated member of Club Mahindra for a considerable period, and I have always honored my financial commitments. However, the company's unilateral decision to cancel my membership without providing me with an opportunity to address any issues or concerns is both unfair and unacceptable.

                          I understand that businesses face challenges during unprecedented times like the COVID-19 pandemic, but it is essential for companies to show empathy and compassion towards their customers. It is deeply disheartening to see Club Mahindra disregard the trust and loyalty I have placed in them as a member.

                          Given these circumstances, I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter. I believe that Club Mahindra's actions are in violation of consumer rights and constitute an unfair business practice. I urge you to investigate my case thoroughly and ensure that appropriate action is taken to rectify the situation. My primary objective is to have my membership reinstated, as well as to receive a formal apology from Club Mahindra for the distress caused by their negligent and arbitrary actions.

                            This is Vikas Patodi from Bhilwara (Raj.) Iam your Gozest member (ID 555796). I took this membership from Kuldeep (sales manager Jaipur), by paying full membership fees of Rs. 1, 20, 375/- in Month of April 2023

                            At the time of taking this membership I was given a commitment from sale person that I will get assured bookings in June 2023 first week that is the reason I paid the whole amount at once. But I was hugely disappointed and didn’t get what was committed from your side.

                            Based on the commitment and the repo that Club Mahindra has I was also assured that I will get the bookings. And I booked my flight tickets, local taxi & Safari accordingly and gave advances to all of them. But I had to cancel all of this which cost me a lot.

                            From last whole month I was in contact with your representative and every time he told me not to worry saying that your booking will be done. But at last hour ( 7 days before Trip), he refused by saying that we don’t have any availability. I tried to be flexible with my plans also but that didn’t worked as well.

                            Now, even not utilising single night of membership and suffer mental stress and also loss of money paid to flight ticket, taxi and other booking.

                            they are deducting 80% ( approx) amount as cancellation charges only 20% refund amount.

                            I believed that a brand like Club Mahindra will not do such acts but because of you my whole holiday got ruined and it gave me a lot of stress. It seems that your sales team only wants membership and are doing false commitments for that. They anyhow wants us to pay the full amount and then they just tell lies after lies.

                            I request you please refund full amount membership asap because it's my hard earned money and I can't beg everytime with your sales team for booking my holidays after paying such big amount.

                              My Name is Shakti Shiromani, I got membership on 13/06/2023, paid instant amount Rs.17500/- and given cheque of Rs.20000/- but I want to cancel my Club Mahindra’s membership, I contact to relationship manager and his senior asked membership cancellation process, they are not proper supporting so please tell us what I should do.

                                They have given me some complimentary coupons also for 4-8 days

                                your membership is useless and not helpful.

                                  Hello Sir/Madam,

                                  I would like to request the authorised person who looks into Club Mahindra Membership cancellation and refund policy of the membership due to Pathetic Customers Satisfaction and Experience.

                                  My member ID is 371092 and I would absolutely like to Cancel my Club Mahindra Membership and avail the possible Refund.
                                  There are several reasons for cancelling the membership:

                                  1) Club Mahindra only Calls you at the time when ASF Payment is due, otherwise you barely receive any call from the company.

                                  2) Sales Executive conveyed me that you can book your holidays 2-3 months prior if it is higher season and you can book anytime when it is your season. Which later on I got to know that it is absolutely absurd and they say this just to mislead you and buy the membership.

                                  3) Whenever you try to book any holidays or infact even if you plan to see the dates available, most of the times the resorts or either Full or Get Waitlisted. So my question is what is the use of Membership and ASF when you don’t get to stay at desired location at desired time even when it is in your season ??

                                  4) Lonavla resort (Club Mahindra Tungi) was not even included in the Club Mahindra Application so that you can book directly and avail the benefits.

                                  5)You are forced to pay the ASF of current year, till that time you cannot even avail the benefits of the holidays that you have paid ASF for earlier year.
                                  6) Club Mahindra has also asked for the Payment of ASF at the time of Covid-19 when the whole world was sitting inside their houses and Club Mahindra was calling for their ASF payments which is Unethical.

                                  As per the rules and circular of Government or Maharashtra at the time of Covid, Travel was strictly not allowed even then Club Mahindra asked for the payment which should have been waived of. So does Club Mahindra is trying to challenge the Rules and Circular of Government of Maharashtra by asking for ASF payments and trying to prove that their company Policy is superior then the rules by Health Ministry then surely I’ll have to take this matter to Legal Authorities.

                                  7) Absolutely disappointing service from Club Mahindra and Mahindra Group especially.

                                  Would like to know the Refund Process and Refund amount as soon as possible.

                                    I had taken the membership considering I can visit most resorts as per my wish and it would be non-chargeable as informed by sales representative. but, when I get courier then it was mentioned for extra charges for the offered days.

                                    just after receiving that details, I informed to sales representative then he informed it will be chargeable. so, I asked to cancel it and refund, but he stopped receiving call and responding.
                                    Even, I have done multiple emails to Club Mahindra team for this but they are not responding as well. Also, they're refusing to refund money and forcing to go ahead with membership, which we're not interested anymore.

                                    please do the needful asap, as our EMI will also start from 7th June. we don't want take any other action against this. so, please cancel this with immediate effect and refund paid money.
