Hi - I am a GoZest member of Club Mahindra and have a very bad experience with bookings. First we joined ClubM as STU member and changed our mind not to go with-it in a week time and asked for a refund.. but they forced to join us in a GoZest to feel experience with... so joined gozest with no interest to experience the feel, but later we didn't get any booking we asked for and month flies.. and finally they booked some place and we are waiting for the time to go but now they asked us to pay the remaining monthly installment amount to continue with out bookings else they are saying we are not eligible to stay in the resort. I paid my initial amount 48, 332/- INR and asked for refund and they put me in gozest and now they are asking for remaining amount to continue my membership... instead they should have refund my amount initially to avoid all this.

    On January 7th we were called for a meeting by Mahindra Holidays in Taj Club House regarding they anniversary. On Courtesy basis we attended the meeting. There they discussed about the Holiday Plans such as 3 years Package – with Every year 6 nights / 7days (600 Points) and addon 2* 2 nights 3 days complimentary stay package + 9000/-Rs Amazon Gift Voucher, and compelled us to pay the amount of 40000/- Rs(Through Visa Card Payment they swiped 35950/- at 10% discount) saying that it’s a one day offer. After a week 14th January I received a verification call which didn’t say about the complimentary stay + 9000/- amazon gift voucher which I insisted. Then after 3 days Mr.Thiru confirmed me about the above two in whatsapp. And now after so many days when we enquire about the same, he is not responding in a proper way and dogging us. Which is creating the mental stress and also, we couldn’t plan a trip and travel in an early basis. My Member ID:2999705. My cancellation case number[protected] .So many times i have followed up with customer care, but i am not getting solution. So kindly cancel our package plan and refund our amount as early as possible.

      Would like to cancel my club membership for the following details:-
      1) We have got the worst experience from the club team. The representative only attended the call during the registration. Even after we took membership he is not picking up the call for any concern or enquiry.
      2) we booked for the club stay but unfortunately we were not able to turn up for the booking due to medical emergency.some executive called to confirm the booking 2-3 days before the booked date and we informed we are admitted to the hospital so we would like to cancel the reservation for the date. After we returned from hospital when I checked out our login it was found that the cancellation was not made by the executive and it is marked as the points are utilised for 2 days stay. We raised the complaint through mail several times and it was the same cut copy mail recieved from the team.not even addressed our redressal. I would say this is the worst club to join with.

      3) The hotels are full most of the time we plan our trip and it is found this as the worst decision we made to take a membership with this team.

      So, we want cancel our membership and refund the amount we paid.

        The sales representative upgraded my season from white to red making false claims and promises. The sales representative guaranteed that by upgrading to higher season, I would be able to get rooms when I want. However, it is not happening, I am still not able to book rooms as it is always WL. I searched over the internet and found several users complain about unavailability of the rooms.

        I mailed to the support saying that I want to downgrade my membership and the advance I paid for upgrading should be adjusted for the yearly charges for membership, however now support is saying that they don't have the policy of downgrading and hence cannot do. This is pure cheating and mental harassment

          Dear Sir / Madam,

          I wish to cancel my club mahindra membership for several reason below;

          1. My availabe nights were collapsed without stay.

          2.They refused to extend validity of complimentory despite knowing seroius death issue in my family.

          3. They refused to book resort by saying that high up season and which is out my knowledge.

          4. Biggest and main issue of service despite severals calls and mails no one listen my case seriously every one reverted with same copy pasted mail.

          5. I purchase blue studio membership however they refused to book saying availabilty issue.

          6.When i requested them to recredit my unused night they refused to recredit saying policy issue.

          7. They have many policies for booking and it seems not ok for me.

          Hence, i wish to cancel my membership and refund my money.

            I booked 1BR room for 2days of vacation. Additionally requested the club mahindra advisor to book additional rooms on my behalf before 3months of my planned vacation. I was keep on checking with him and he assured booking and room availability. However just 3days prior to the vacation he replied that rooms are not available. I made all travel plans for my family including train and cab bookings. And at this point it is very difficult to find another hotel for the family. I request an immediate action to resolve the issue.

              2) The Purple Membership is supposed to be the highest priority membership being offered by the management of the Club Mahindra.
              3) The membership sold was for 25 years, Confirming that we would be avail the resorts in the Peak Seasons. For 7 days every year for next 25 years.

              I purchased the Club Mahindra's (ClubM) GoZest Membership (3 years) on 16-Dec-23 when Aniket Navale, from ClubM Mumbai office, visited my residence in Pune to explain the membership details. I had paid the full amount and I was given membership no. I was also told by him that if I change my mind I can also request for refund within 15 days of payment. After deep thought and realization that I purchased the membership in a hurry and it will not suit my needs of travel for the next 3 years, I raised the request for a refund on 17-Dec-23. I have been following up with ClubM since Jan'23 and I got responses to the first 3 emails out of 9 emails sent by me. The last follow-up was on the 31-Mar-23. I also called up their Members Customer Care No ([protected]) around 4-5 times but I was told that their concerned team would call me but I never received any call.

                My whole idea of taking the club Mahindra membership is to get access to various resorts across India and have ease of booking my holidays by not spending hours in front of computer. Unfortunately, Club Mahindra’s overall experience is pathetic and making me more and more frustrated when I use it. This is not a one time experience, however this is every year problem.

                On top of this, their on-call helpdesk is NOT ABLE to provide any options for their customers and help simplify the holiday bookings. All that I hear again and again is 'sorry not available'.

                My membership #18XXXX (Red Studio) and I am a member with club Mahindra since 2011. From last 12 years I go through same level of frustration when I book my holidays.

                Below is my recent experience that I am sharing below :

                - On Feb 26 : I was looking for holidays in North East India from April 30th to May6th, and I did not find any resort with the availability. So I ended up putting a waitlist request for POLO TOWERS SHILLONG.
                - On Mar 22: Since there is absolutely no movement on my waitlist request, I had to cancel and put a new request for multiple other resorts including Darjeeling, Gangtok, Shillong etc.
                - On Mar 26: As expected no movement on my waitlists, so I called up the help desk and they just informed me i can look at the app and book it myself. So i started looking for any available resorts (even though my option was to visit north-east India).
                - On Mar 26 : I ended up seeing some availability in Club Mahindra Resort Hatgad. Again, I could not book because continuous availability was on only on 2BA, but my membership was on STU. I was ready to give-up additional holiday credits and book on 2BA, but i got the error saying my membership I cannot book for 2BA.
                - This is very surprising because as per the original contract which I signed, I could give-up more of my holiday credits and book on higher class rooms (upgrade). Called up the Helpdesk regarding the same, but absolutely no help of any suggestion. Answer is 'sorry not possible'.
                - On Mar 26 : So I started looking for more options, and shortlisted Club Mahindra Kanha, Madya Pradesh. Again no continuous availability on STU, So I ended up booking 2 days in STU, then between couple of days of TNT-STU.
                - Just to avoid shuttling between rooms after couple of days, I wanted to put waitlist for STU rooms instead of TNT-STU, but again system did not allow. Again called up Helpdesk and answer is "Not possible, because as per my membership …. “ All nonsense reasons.

                So what I understand now is I need to go through other holiday agencies to book my holidays since i have only few weeks to go. Even after paying so much for membership if I am not able to book one week of holidays in a year with ease, I don’t see any worth of this membership.

                In fact, i have sent this same message to Club Mahindra on March 26th, so far no productive response from them. So i am raising my query here with so much of anger and frustration.

                Now, I have decided to discontinue with my club Mahindra membership and cancel with immediate effect. I request Club Mahindra to kindly settle membership fees at the earliest.

                Also, you have the case number in the subject of this complaint. If you wish you could have pulled my information and tried to address it already. I don’t see an intent for addressing the issue.

                I have also sent multiple reminders to address my concern, club Mahindra has stopped responding to my mails as well. Pathetic!!!

                  Club Mahindra is no longer professionally run. Their, s is a greedy model based on getting maximum members and giving next to nothing in return. Customer and grievance services is appalling with standard template of reply.
                  They will charge membership fees, ASF annual maintenance and then food bills etc in resort. Any resort vouchers that are offered cannot be claimed and they ensure these lapse. Also if you cancel holiday and for some reason unable to reach out to Club Mahindra team, they will also cancel days from your holiday.

                  In my case I lost 2000 RSV despite taking holidays and the resort team deliberately avoided using yhe RSV to allow it lapse. Huge scam.
                  Also, recently had very bad experience when I had to cancel holiday for patient emergency as I am a doctor. Firstly I was unable to use app and when I managed to reach out to club Mahendra team, they cancelled 2.2 days from refund.

                  In other words Club Mahindra is greedy, unprofessional, with no proper grievance system in place with only aim to generate revenue by adding new members, increasing annual maintenance and ensuring lapse of so called RSV vouchers and holidays by cancellation or difficult T & Cs.
                  AVOID CLUB MAHINDRA ...you will not only save money but also save yourself a headache dealing with these crooks.

                      Booking Nights is a Nightmare in Club Mahindra. You have to book exactly four months before or you are gone...
                      For confirmed bookings: YOU WILL HAVE TO BE A FOOL LIKE --- Book holidays in Trivandrum in Heat Months of May and / or in January in Gangtok. What a waste.

                      The annual maintenance divide by 7 nights = Rs 3, 000 approx. per night which everyone have to pay irrespective whether they use the nights or not. This is apart from the huge lumpsum amount.

                      Food expenses for a family of 3 members = 4, 500 per night (B/F + Dinner). At 4, 500 you get confimed bookings in peak seasons in good places without harassment.

                      FINALLY I CAN CONCLUDE: A] To convert middle class into Upper Middle Class or B] to convert upper middle class into rich:
                      They should 1) invest huge lumpsum amount for membership 2) pay a few thousands per night as maintenance fee irrespective o[censored]se of nights 3) with tears eat food of thousands per time (waste if you are holidaying in south where local unlimited meals are available @ Rs[protected] & 4) Watch in HORROR the nights getting lapsed slowly but surely.

                      This is all because 100 resorts is absolutely INSUFFICIENT for lakhs of members / many (if not all) Corporate Moron Employees who signed up, creating a situation WORST THAN RAILWAY TICKET BOOKING IN PEAK SEASON (In Fact Railways are better)

                      And Joke is our Database is used by third parties who call us and tell us: we will use your nights for guest bookings and give you per night amount WHICH IS A SHAM / FRAUD. They will ask for token amount of Rs 3, 000 to 7, 000 and then vanish

                        Below points proves that we are being cheated by club Mahindra. Hence we request them to cancel our membership and refund of our membership amount of Rs. 1, 12, 187/-

                        Points are as under:-

                        1) We have paid total amount Rs. 1, 12, 187 but we have received invoice of just Rs. 25, 000/- . ( Copy is attached)

                        2) At the time of discussions, we have been offered membership for 6 years, where as the validity of the membership card which we have received is only for 3 years i.e from[protected].

                        3) We have not received any written confirmation regarding the offering which have been made to us during discussion. It is not written in my profile details on their site, neither come along with the membership card.

                        We have made above complaint within 10 days of getting membership.

                        We have communicated thru email many times and requested for refund but till date we have not received any response/ confirmation from them regarding refund.

                          Membership fraud by misguiding information

                          I have taken membership with club mahindra holidays with membership id 2999065. One day mr. paresh shinde from palhal holidays have visited our office and mentioned all the details regarding the membership, other than that of asf. Which was later known that, he has made all the fake commitments and there was breach of contract. He also mentioned that he is from mahindra and did not mentioned about the palhal holidays, which was also not fair.br...

                          I refer to my email messages of 16th and 20th February and 20th March, 2023 regarding cancellation/termination of my membership and regret to note that there is no written confirmation for the same.

                          Please note that on 13th January, 2023, I had taken the policy by making a part payment of Rs.35, 950/-. At that time, there was no proper guidance given to me regarding loss/damages of cancellation of membership. It was only explained to me that total amount of Rs.1, 33, 750/- (Rupees One Lakh Thirty Three Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Only) will have to be paid by me under GOZEST for three years and out of this amount, a part payment of Rs.35, 950/- was made by me through credit card. The balance payment of Rs.97, 992/- was to be paid in EMI of Rs.8, 166/- for twelve months.

                          Due to some financial crisis and family responsibilities, I could not continue the membership and pay the premium and therefore, I decided to discontinue the membership.

                          Please refer to Clause 7.2 of Application Form, where it is mentioned that “In the event of such cancellation of CMGZM, Admission Fees amounting to 60% of the Membership Fee shall not be refunded and only the Entitlement Fees amounting to 40% of the Membership Fee is refundable, subject to deductions …….”.

                          I am unable to pay the EMIs due to the reasons stated above and therefore, request you to refund an amount of 40% from Rs.35, 950/-, which was paid by me.

                          Please note that Rs.35, 950/- is not a small amount for me to lose. When I work a full month, I get this much salary and it is my hard-earned money, which I don't want to lose in any circumstances.

                          By relying one some unreasonable terms and conditions, Club Mahindra want to usurp my hard earned money, which is not correct. I have been regularly following up with Club company for the last two months, but with no success. Almost every day, I am receiving threatening messages for paying EMI of the membership or I have to pay the penalty . This treatment is just not acceptable.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              I am very unhappy with the service and experience provided by CLub Mahindra and would like to withdraw our membership.

                              My family opted for a ClubM15 package which is of 15 years duration which works on a points basis. We opted for the "Premium" package which comes with 1200 points and a total price of 3, 70, 000.

                              We went ahead with a part downpayment and the rest through EMI.

                              Here are some of the biggest pains we have been through over the past year.

                              a) There is no mobile app provided for this package (this was not highlighted to us when the product was sold). This is a huge hinderance considering everything these days is available via app. The website is painfully slow and very pathetic to use. When we complained about this, we go to know that the points-based packages belong to the "go zest" category and are not eligible for mobile app. There are further limitations on the website as well for the "go zest" members--will not be able to view resort credit points, will not be able to get contact details of the resorts, will not be able to view booking details and so on.

                              b) Per the sales person the premium package covers red, white and blue seasons, however we have NOT been able to book any rooms for the months of Apr and May. Rooms cannot be selected even when it show "AVL". Some of the rooms show "NE" which should not be the case since the "premium" is supposed to cover all of red, white and blue seasons. Emails to their membership experience team is answered with stock replies that don't even work.

                              c) Like many other members cited, it costs a tiny fortune for one visit to any of the resorts. Food is very expensive. The hotel manager will quote a higher price and then provide a discount on top--which is still very high compared to regular restaurants.

                              d) Our last visit, to one of their prominent resort was in poor taste. The resort very ill maintained (rooms had leaking faucets, non-working AC) and food quality was very poor (undercooked rice which caused my children an upset stomach). This feedback was shared in writing with the front office. I did get further calls from their member experience team, however I am not sure if any action was taken.

                              Overall, for the total membership amount + the ever increasing annual ASF + the food and activities charges, this is definitely not worth the "experience".

                              It is our sincere desire to surrender this Membership and get the refund in this respect. I also desire to resolve the matter amicably failing which I may decide my future course of action including legal recourse against the Company in an appropriate forum.
