They booked a room for me which they have no business connection with, using my booking amount and now refusing to refund that amount. In their company policy they should refund if the room isn’t reserved for me.

    A colive representative named Kabita (mob : [protected]) have asked me to pay an advance of 1500 rs for a single sharing room in marathahalli, bangalore for 5 days. She asked me to report at the property directly and initially the wrong location was shared to me. Finally after contacting the owner I came to know the exact location which was different and also he refused to give the room stating that they do not have single sharing rooms on daily basis and asked me to leave the property. I finally had to find another property as the colive representative was not picking the call afterwards. Colive has to be accountable for the humiliation I faced today and I feel I was scammed for a room that was never available. I am raising the complaint here to refund my deposit of 1500 at the earliest

    Hi,

    As per your sales representative, she has already informed you that the booking amount is Non refundable. It is transferable if you take any other property.

    Colive terms and conditions clearly states that The reservation amount is only refundable in cases where the booking is not confirmed or the room booked by the customer is not available for check-in

    The room I booked was not available for check in (you can contact the property owner if required) and I had to take another room since the sales representative (kabita) was not picking up the call. How do I transfer amount now which you have not refunded to any e wallets or to my account ?

      Hi, I had booked for colive rooms about 2 months ago in Bangalore. Due to some unfortunate reasons, I had to cancel my stay there and shift to some other place. The colive people took my registration money of rupees 1999, without me even availing any of their services. Niether did they mention even once to me at the time of registration that they won't give the money back even if I don't take their room.Now, they have kept my money and don't respond or take calls saying that it's their policy . Kindly, help with a resolution for the same. Herewith, attaching the payment proof and the contact number of the people heading tbe same. Number - [protected], [protected]

      As per the company policy, the reservation amount is non refundable and the same is also clearly mentioned on Company website under FAQ section. Also, you can refer the Colive handbook available in the Colive App for the reference.

      And for what are you taking the money?
      I had an emergency and I had to leave Bangalore.Why don't you keep such scenarios under consideration. What kind of policy is this??Also, your representative didn't even mention once that the amount is non refundable. You keep money for nothing and then say that it's your policy. What did I pay for to you for nothing?I need a solution about the same.

        Hello sir,

        I'm Chetan, i have booked a 3 sharing room no 505 in st Paul colive bellandur on June 27 . And i have raised my notice period ticket (SR210574 ) on July 1st and vacated my property on August 1st until now i haven't received any updates on deposit amount refund . Please do consider my request on my refund process.

        I even informed the Sale person name chaitanya([protected]). At my vacating time there was no property manager in my pg every month there was new member coming. After following up i got the number of property manager name pankaj on August 3 i informed him of i have vacated my property on August 1, after that I also got due for August month rent. By following up continuously with the property manager pankaj updated I have vacated the property on August 10.
        Now the colive team is saying that there is a delay in checkout

        I also attached the screenshot of sending him to update that I have vacated the property.

        Right now the colive team is not responding my calls.

        As per the company policy, the notice to check out must be raised from Colive App or on the web. Any notice communicated via service ticket, emails or verbally to any Colive staff will not be considered. Also, the check out must be done before the last day of the month and as you have vacated in 1st Aug'22, the charges for the Aug'22 also gets added. Also, the details on your refund has been shared to your registered email ID.

        Please refer to the Colive Handbook or the agreement signed from your end.

          I vacated my Colive property on 31th July 2022 and was promised a refund of my security deposit within 15 days. I have waited almost 4 months and called the sales person, the property manager, the billing team, raised a ticket in the app and even sent an email to the billing team but I havent received anything as yet. I have financial commitments and dont know what to do or whom to call anymore. Their customer care doesnt work either. Please help in resolving this issue by processing my refund.

            Sending fraud emails and fake notices trying to extort money

            Was staying in a Colive property in Bangalore, Kodihalli. It was pathetic service from colive and the property, the property owners kept on harassing us because we came there through colive. Finally decided to leave and raised notice period in colive app on 30 March and Vacated property on 29 April which is 1 month notice period as mentioned by colive. I have paid 3000 as deposit on which i was told 7 days rent amount will be taken as a maintenance...

            Hi, Manager name :- Ajay they took 7500rs as pre-booking amount before check In date and while check in date he didn't picked the calls still I am calling didn't received yet 10days completed

            Please do needful and refunded my amount asap. We don't know how many customers facing such kind of fraudulent in bangalore, I never thought that this kind of behaviour wll possible in bangalore .

              I have raised a notice period to leave the property (colive alpha) on October 9th and I have served the 30 days notice period which ends on Nov 8th. AI have left the property on Nov 4th itself but I have received a bill for the entire month of November. Where as I have only stayed till Nov 4. I have mailed the billing team regarding this and asked to bill only till Nov 8 which is my final day of notice period. They haven't replied. And also now they are not returning my deposit amount which is 22k but also charged an additional 4.5k for seperation charges and asked me to pay 3k to avoid legal notice.

              Hi,

              We request you to please share your details so that we can fetch your details and share you the details. However, please refer the follow policies on check out & refund for your clarification:

              1. 30-Days notice is mandatory.
              2. Notice period raised after the 1st of the calendar month will not be accepted.
              3. "No-notice" or "less than 30 Day notice" will carry a penalty equivalent to 1-month rent in the final settlement.
              4. Lock-in period must be completed before raising the check-out request & the Non-completion of the Lock-in will attract a penalty equivalent to 1 month of rent in the final settlement.
              5. Only at the month-end, the check-out can be done. If you wish to vacate in the middle of the month (any day after 1st of the month), the full month rent will be applicable.
              6. Full month rent will be applicable and it can not be adjusted from the security deposit

              Also, we request you to go through the Colive Handbook for the same. The separation charges (25% of the basic rent) is the standard deduction for all who are checking-out and is collected towards the maintenance & cleaning of the flat once your vacate. Hence, the charges are applicable.

                I vacated colive golden square pg in Chennai on June 30th, 2022 after staying for 2 months. On vacating I am to get the refund amount of 8, 000/- within 2 weeks, but I haven't received the amount still even after 4 months and raising the notice 1 month before vacating as in the company guideline.
                I've been trying to contact them still but there had been no response from their end since August 2022.

                  We got a whats app message from a person of Colive.com by [protected].
                  He sent us photos of Ramadevi property, Konadapur, Hyderabad. After agreeing with that property and amount of Rs. 16, 000/-, on his demand we paid Rs.6, 000/- through Phone Pay app. After paying that amount, that person from colive refused to give us same room and was misleading to see other properties.
                  He just taken money by showing different property and after payment fraudulently refused to give mutually decided property.
                  I want my money of Rs. 6000/- back.

                    I have booked a room by giving a booking amount and also i confirmed that they will refund my amount(1500₹) if i dont like the room.
                    They sent me the address of some co living pg but unfortunately some are not there also some are not good.

                      We were in search of Pg in chennai, shollinganallur. On November 1, I was contacted by a agent ashutosh and he said there is a offer going on with discounted price of 6k and 40% cashback. We were ok with it and told him to share the room images with us. He sent the images of amigo coliving property in shollinganallur, chennai. I saw the room and was ok with that and asked him 10 mins to get confirmation from my friends. Everyone was ok with that and and we were asked to pay 2999 for each person for booking the room. After the payment there was no message from him and he didn't pick the call on that day. On Nov 2 we tried from morning he picked the call at 10:30 am and said I will be reaching the office within 30 minutes and i will call you back but there was no response till 3:30pm after that i again contacted him he said it will be updated within 30 minutes of time we trusted him and hang up the call. But again no response at 6 pm we called once again he said just now I reached office and now I am with billing team he updated with the wrong pg. The pg which was said by him was amigo coliving but he booked siri PG. So we tried calling him as usual no response. On Nov 3 we tried to call him from morning no response at 3PM i tried calling again he pick up the call and said you guys are calling for everyone second how can i answer the call, but only we know the pain we have paid 12000 but there is no response after that he said It was wrong with the billing team and they will update it with end of the day. Then I asked him when can i contact you again he told me call at 7PM. As usual no response. After that my friend ahamed thasveer tried to call him 8:30 PM he picked up the call and my friend made a con call with him in whatsApp. At that he was speaking rude and he was using bad words like CHUTIYA those kinds of words and singing some song and he disconnected it. We were unable to recorded it because it was a whatsApp call or else I would have posted in social media. How dare he can speak I'll o[censored]s!!!. After that we contacted service desk a lady gave this email to explain the details. We need out payment back we are fed up with everything.

                        Son Varun Shroff booked a colive P.G at kormangla banglore in sept 22.he paid rent RS.3600 for spt.four to five days and deposit Rs. 11000/- on 18th sep.3022 and rent on 22nd Sept.2022 he will reach p.g on 26th sept at 10.30 am but they are not alloted room ap to 3.30 pm my sone told them so many time but they are neglect after all he told them I want to live then they alloted one room.
                        He booked for single occupancy and thy shown good quality room when he went ther for bookin .but they alloted very poor room he surprised and told them please alloted my room this room is very poor no bedsheet on bed beds are poor condition bathroom is laquage no ventilation s he told please allot me better room i can't sleep this type of room.
                        The told your room is maintanence you have to stay heare for four to five days.but he can't sleep full night he feeling not well next day he left the room and he went to the other p.g he generated ticket for living he and me also called to tell sales department yogesh but he told he is not responsible he can't do any thing then we called hi head but his responses not proper i talk for deposit but no body responses after i found colives CEO folder side i also wrote them. But till i have not received deposit.
                        My request you to please look in to the matter and tell me how i get my deposit refund iam not claiming rent but they have to refund deposit amount

                          I was looking for a PG in Chennai. Colive agent named Ramjit (+91 [protected]) approached me and provided some information about different properties. I finalized one of them and paid Rs. 2999 as a booking charge on 27/10/2022. He promised that the booking charge would be fully refundable if I don't want to take that property. Once I paid the money, he stopped picking up my calls. I waited for 4 days and still didn't get any confirmation or bill. Finally, he said that the place was not available and when I asked for a refund he told me only a 50% refund was possible. Now he is not picking up my calls, and I have no access to get back my money.

                            I was Searching a PG in chennai near sholinganallur. A person named Austosh from Colive spoken like a perfect agent and we 4 members booked a room with an advance amount of 2999 for each person on November 1. After the payment he is not picking up the call and there is no response from his side. I need my amount back I filled cases in cyber crime and upi redressal. If I didn't get my amount I will lodge complain in consumer court.

                              15 days back, received call from colive sales man-Sagar, he has shown me pg video, i confirmed booking so he has taken 1500/ booking amount after that received call from ashutosh billing department, he said bed reservation has to do so he has taken 2999/rs..when I came Bangalore visited pg that is different and i have denied ..now they have shown me another pg Royal PG..colive lanchester now i have confirmed that one but no one is responding my call and replying me on what's app...

                                To whoever concerned.

                                I had booked accommodation on 19th oct2022 via UPI(UPI[protected] RS1500. with the help of Colive employee Shwetha (mobile #[protected]).
                                The rooms were in pathetic condition and so were the staff, not to mention the services(i was suppose to get the keys by 8:30Am but i received it at 12:30pM) I called Shwetha immediately and asked to cancel it.
                                Please note, since then i am going and asking for the refund that needs to done and they are yet to do it, this is bad service to say the least.

                                This is to inform you that the reservation amount is non refundable as per the company policy. However, we request you to please share any supporting confirmation received from the team or any details which might help us to understand more about the issues.

                                Please be noted that the reservation amount in non refundable but it can be transferred if you wish to change to another property.

                                  So I was asked to pay a booking fee of 3000 per room, and the agent told me he would refund the amount if we did not like the property, however the property where he sent us to did not exist, in the given address, and then later when we called to recheck he told us the owner of the flat had taken the property, now he has taken 9 thousand rupees and isn’t ready to refund it back

                                    I vacated the room on 15th October, and gave the key to the caretaker because nothing was working in the facilities that I paid for!!

                                    1) the internet was not working and the manager would not reply
                                    2) the lift was not working for a period of 20 days
                                    3) No food security - food items regularly disappearing from fridge
                                    4) Poor food quality
                                    5) Washing machines never working.

                                    I officially have screenshots of no response. There was no response on my exit, I officially have vacated the room, 15th Oct 2022

                                    Hi,

                                    This is to inform you that as your deductions are higher that your actual deposit, you are not eligible for the refund of the deposit. Please find the settlement receipt in the attachment for your reference.

                                    Deduction Details:

                                    1. Rent outstanding of Rs.9, 612/- : Please refer the attachment for the breakup of your rent outstanding which was pending to clear at the time of check out. You have failed to clear the dues in all the month due to which the pending due amount were carried forwarded and finally adjusted in the security deposit.

                                    2. Electricity bill Charges Rs.1, 815/- : Electricity charges for the last month stay.

                                    3. Separation charges of Rs.3, 750/- : Standard deduction after check out which is 25% of the basic rent towards cleaning and maintenance which is as per the agreement.

                                    4. Notice period charges of Rs.15, 000/- : As per the agreement, 1 month notice is mandatory to serve and must be raised via Colive App on 1st of the calendar month. Also, you have vacated the premised without raising the notice and informing to any manager. Vacating without service notice period attracts a penalty equivalent to a months rent.

                                    Hence, you have a total deduction of Rs.30, 177/- and after the adjustment of your security deposit of Rs.17, 000/-, you are liable to clear a total amount of Rs.13, 177/-.

                                      I have paid deposit money of 1500/- for reserving a room but for unfortunate situation I was unable to go and stay there. I tried calling and reach out to them, but I got to know that the salesperson left the job. There was no proper response. I was asked to pay 1500/- more to get whole money refund. I don't understand the need of paying the same amount again to get previous refund??? I need my money back asap. Kindly response and take action on this request.
