[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel live

Dear Sir,

2 days back I received call from Airtel Live stating that the you will not receive any massage from airtel live from today onward and Airtell will not cut any charges, but yesterday I recharge my account and after that again I received same massage from the airtel that the you have been renewed for Bollywood Fusion subscription from airtel and you have been charged Rs 15 everyday,
I am not using any service from airtel; there is neither mobile office activated nor GPRS or Airtel live on my Mobile,
Kindly help me on this matter

Should I make Compleint aginst Airtel in Consumer care Court

I am Airtel user since last 2 years. Recently I started using Airtel Live after I received the promotional call + SMS from airtel telling me that this services is free. For few months it worked fine my bill around 500 / - . since last month I started getting bills 1200 / - when I called the customer care they told me Airtel Live services has become paid .how can any service become paid with out intimating about.





I have logged many complaints to airtel. Customer care call guys call and just tell we can’t do anything in this.



I have logged 3 complaints + 1 email to Mumbai head office but no one is listening to my view.


My point is “I WILL NOT PAY FOR THE SERVICE CHAGRES WHICH ARE CHANGED WITH ABOUT INFORMING ME”
i tried hell to deactivate airtel live it havent got deactivated i do not have settings still they are deducting money like hell they are theives and iam going to change my connection
I am airtel life time user.On 11th of feb 08 i received SMS from airtel that use 5 minutes of STD call and your all STD calls upto feb 29 will be 1rupee.I made 5 minutes of STD but call rate hasn't changed.I send an SMS to 121 since they blocked my customer care service,reply was this offer is appicable for life time customer.
i am getting an awful response from airtel. they have activated some services from airtel live on their own and i keep on losing money. without my registering, i started getting jokes from airtel. also, they have themselves put a hello tune to my number for 1 year which i never asked for and deducted 200 rs . i have lost more than 500rs. they tell me to call 121 to deactivate airtel live but that is not working. i am highly pissed by their clumsy handling.

i am using airtel connection of no [protected] from dist Ghazipur. i asked to actvate airtel live on my mobile from last one week. i sent you msgs and get reply link and msgs for activation within 24 hrs. but it is not activated up to now.i asked several times to costumer care and complain centre for it and they reply to solve my problem wthin 24 hrs this is a example of worst service of you and I ever seen . I advise you to close yr costumer care and other services like it they create a pain to yr consumers

I am currently using Airtel mobile ([protected]). I have subscribed for joke subscription using Airtel live option. So the cost for the same is Rs.7 per week. But i am not getting any joke alerts what so ever after subscription. But Rs.7 is being deducted every week. I have repeatedly called the customer care for unsubscribing the joke subscription but I never get any response from the customer care.
I had similar problem with Airtel. In January 2008, I requested them to activate the GPRS facility to surf the net. I was not satisfied with the speed, so I got broadband connection at home and One week after activation of GPRS I sent them request to deactivate the GPRS facility. I got SMS that the service has been deactivated.

I was not receiving the physical bills due to some problems, so I was keep on paying the bills as they asked, by assuming there is nothing fake. In the month of March 2008, I noticed that I did not use my phone too much but the bill amount was too high, Then I logged into there website and noticed that they were still charging me 499 per month for GPRS.

I called them lot of times sent emails to their nodal officers too, but there customer care agents were dropping the calls after listening to my problem and there was no response from nodal officers. Finally in the month of June-July 2008, I became too harsh with them. After the fight with them, my billing was stopped. From Feb to June, I paid 2500 + taxes to them for the service which I never used. Anyway, I received some money back from them, but I did not verified whether I got full or partial. Atleast they stopped charging me further.

My suggestion, don't activate GPRS facility.

Yesterday i entered a site through airtel live.then a window came "downloading" and i immediately pressed cancel and then it said downloading cancelled . But then i got 2 messages from airtel stating thank you for downloading and i lost Rs.30. Kindly see to this complaint and make neccessary arrangements .

SUB: UNAUTHORISED DEDUCTION OF CREDIT AMOUNT- complaint

I have been using the above mentioned Airtel Prepaid Phone service for the past ------years/months.

On 31.07.2008 and 02.08.2008 I received some unsolicited SMS from Airtel Live stating that if interested I can download the stipulated messages for which cost will be deducted from my account. After reading the messages I deleted them as I was not interested.

To my shock and surprise I found that Rs.50/(Rupees Fifty only) & Rs.99/-(Rupees Ninety nine only) were deducted on the above mentioned two dates even without downloading the messages. In this regard, when I contacted the Customer Care Office at Palayamkottai, they also had confirmed after verifying with their records that there was no downloading of the said messages’s contents, but they cannot help me out in giving credit of the unauthorized deduction and they advised me to approach the head office. Hence this letter.

Please note that I have read the incoming message only and not downloaded anything as given in the messages. Please ensure that I am given credit of 149/-(Rupees One hundred and forty nine only) unauthorized deduction from my account for no fault of mine.

If I am not given credit of the same, I will be constrained to approach appropriate authorities to sort out the issue.

Please revert.

On 7/3/2009 i have just entererd in airtel live there was a thing 4 games in rs 30 i have just entered in that i have charged rs 30 and rs 10 without any download.

Please note that I have just entered in that and not downloaded anything as given in the messages. Please ensure that I am given credit of 40/-(Rupees forty only) unauthorized deduction from my account for no fault of mine.

If I am not given credit of the same, I will be constrained to approach appropriate authorities to sort out the issue.

Sir, I am a customer of airtel they are activating some on the mobiles through airtel live, if called to customer care they are not giving any proper response. so please aviod these type of activations.my no [protected]
