Hello sir i am from Andhrapradesh i have changed to airtel form aircel through mnp somewhat 2 years back.on December 5th of 2012 i moved to delhi but my airtel number is not working here.its not getting any signals...i have called airtel customer care too....they r not responding properly

AirTel — FAILURE IN RESPONSE

Dear Sir,

Regarding disconection of airtel service since last two days for the [protected]. Still my connection is not active and at the time of incoming /and outgoing call to call this number call the msg. replied is "THIS IS NOT A VALID NUMBER". I spoken to customer care. there is no response.

Pleae do the needful.

Airtel Prepaid — inconvenience after registration

Respected sir,
with great regret i would like to state being a member of the airtel family i am greatly depressd by your customer care service. On 10 October 2010, my connection of number [protected] had been disconnected on account of not registering my number. on 11th October I deposited the airtel application form and the other necessities. they told me the line would be activated within a short period. when it was not done so i reported to 121. they also told me that the line would be activated within an hour, but it never happened. i have called twice after that but have met with only false promises. I being a senior citizen consider this harrasment as an insult, not to mention a great distreess for me and my family. this type of management is shameful from the part of airtel leading to a loss of credibillity and goodwill. i hope that you would address my grievance.

AIRTEL-Prepaid Sim — Failure of working of sim

I have purchased an Airtel sim on 29/11/2010 from Kurukshetra.It is working well and good till 10/12/2010 but now there are no incoming and outgoing facility.A message comes upon a call that your documents are still need to be verified.I have performed that too and they ask me a time for 3 days.Its been a week but the sim was still not working.My no. is [protected].
I am Jitendra from agra and my no is [protected].. You people deduct my 40 rs on[protected] & 30 rs on[protected] through my balance ungenuinly.. Kindly refund it as soon as possible.. Your customer care executives dont responds me..

    I have made bill of rs 273 on airtel showroom at samrala on 1st Jan 2013
    vide airtel receipt no 14146518 dated 01.01.2013 vide transaction id no
    62716028.Till now the payment has not been updated in my account.
    I ad port out my no to bsnl and they have stooped incoming and outgoing of my
    no due to outstanding amount i had not paid to Airtel.
    My no. is off last 5 days.Need to continue its service from Airtel side with
    immediate effect.I am regularly following up with Airtel's samrala executive she is such a manner
    less girl/she don't know how to speak to customer.
    She directly says she is not bothered to same.Disconnect my calls manner less
    way and when i visited there she refused to take any responsibilities.Her no is
    [protected] and [protected]. What the hell she is doing there if she can't help
    customer?Why should i and my business suffer ? I need written apologies from
    her and call from her regarding her rude behavior.
    I am regularly calling at 121 since last 20 days regarding this problem,non
    o[censored]r executive taking it serious.Even today Ms.poonam just told system is
    down.may i know why all the time your systems are down.Who is responsible for
    service.Should i c the way to complaint legally.My premium no is not in
    operation since last 5 days that too i am asking since last 16 days for
    service.No body know what is the problem and where?

      I have been a customer of Airtel for more than 4yrs and I have never defaulted any payment or was there any case of late payment from my end. However in May 2012 I was unhappy about broadband service quality and decided to cancel the broadband connection. I am listing the sequence of events in bullet points below

      • In June 2012 I called the customer service and asked for cancellation of broadband service. They mentioned it will take 7days for the cancellation to happen. They started calling us and giving us other offers with reduced prices and begged us to continue with airtel. I clearly stated that for the next 3 months I would be out of station as well and don’t intend to have any connection till then. Incase I decide to have it later I would call them.
      • Every month I started receiving fresh bills for services that was never there and never availed by me.
      • I started receiving calls (from July to Sep) asking me to go for other plans though I was not interested and mentioned the same very clearly. I also told them that I had just delivered a baby and not to harass me by calling me everytime for such things. But the calls never stopped. All through my delivery and maternity they harassed me with such calls and the bills never stopped coming till September 2012.
      • After this another game started. Calls were for collection department for payment. Sometimes they would even threaten over calls. Everytime someone called we used to patiently explain to them on what had happened and the answer used to be “we will get back to you” or “someone will call you”. Never did anyone call to settle this issue but always they used to ask us to pay atleast Rs3000 or atleast Rs2000 and finally they came to Rs1000. Meanwhile I also received legal notices.
      • I mentioned that I will pay Rs1000(which is my bill amount for the month of May) and would want this to be settled but however I would like to receive a statement first with that amount and that once I pay the same the account would be settled.
      • I have mailed them over and over again about my problems. Till date I haven’t received a single reply. But the calls continue to pour.

      I need an end to this problem. I have a very small baby and cant afford to run around their offices to clear this. Please intervene and get an end to this issue.

        I would like to introduce myself as Deepak G. Ojha. I am using Airtel postpaid services since 2 years. In month of December 2012 I had activated 3G services on Airtel under the plan ‘Rs.100 for 300mb’ which should be used within 1 month from the date of activation. I deactivated this service within 5 days and my total usage was 159mb. On receiving the bill for the month of December 2012 I observed that I have been charged Rs. 494.37 for 3G and 2G services usage, while i activated only 3G. Immediately on contacting Airtel customer care for this discrepancy in billing I was told that certain limit has been laid down for each day use and if its exceed that limit extra charge will be imposed. This thing has not been explained while activating . This indicates if customer pay for 300mb data and do not use full 300mb still Airtel will charge extra amount. This intricacy of the plan is never explained to customer while buying the plan. It is made to believe the plan is ‘Rs.100 for 300mb’ for the duration of 1 month.
        On repeated calls to customer care and written complaint of the same no one has cared to provide any satisfactory explanation for this discrepancy and after sometime they refused to accept the calls.
        I would like to Airtel to take note of this complaint and repayment of the undue charges on immediate basis.

        Airtel — Extra Undue Charges

        Airtel has levied undue charges in the last month's billing cycle of this mobile no. [protected] which is used by me.
        They have charged me a cumulative of Rs. 370 on 4th May 2011 itself on the basis of some usage of Value Added Services(VAS), the details of which have been included in the attachments(encircled with red). When asked on their customer care, they assured me that it must have been a billing error which will be rectified subsequently but no such corrections had been made in the bill.
        I strongly deny any such usage of internet because my semester exams were going on from 2nd May to 6th May and I hardly used my mobile, may be for a few minutes but not for 70 continuous minutes as shown in the attached photo.

        Please kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.

            Hi,

            My Airtel 3G postpaid data card number is [protected].

            My credit limit is Rs. 2000 and my current billing plan is Rs. 750 / month.

            Last month I got a bill of Rs. 4500 and this month I got a bill of Rs. 986 making the outstanding payment Rs. 5597.

            I tried approaching Airtel customer care about why I got a bill of Rs. 5597 when my credit limit is clearly Rs. 2000! I have not heard any solution except for "My apologies for the trouble".

            DEAR AIRTEL - I DON'T NEED APOLOGIES. I WANT RESOLUTION OF THE ISSUE.

            I want to clear the payment and cancel the account at once. If anyone from Airtel customer support really care about customer issues, please respond.

              The worst, I mean the worst service provider ever..and this is I think 100th time im stating the reasin to others...The issue was I had made excess payment through online mode(payed twice the bill amount due to some technical error)the payment was done online two months back,,from then on I have witnessed the terrible customer service who r not meant to receive the call but to receive and disconnect inbetween.and every time a call back will be assigned by the cust exec and which I never received a call till now....I have the call recordings of some calls wen it was disconnected..please help me or atleast help the society from so called a illegitimate and fraud company...

                Hello Sir,

                I have taken Airtel prepaid sim card 7th Jan, 2013 . I have submitted all my proofs i.e., my Passport copy as proof, Passport size Photo but still it was not activated. When i enquire with retailer, he says that he had submitted all my proofs to Airtel and the activation is pending from Airtel side. As i have to attend the interviews i am facing lot of problems without having sim card activation(could not get interview calls to attend interviews). I dont know why my sim card was not activated might be negligance of Airtel since it is having lot of customers now or i dont know what. I was very much disappointed by Airtel service. If i have known this earlier i would have taken some other simcard instead of airtel.
                If anybody there in Airtel services who can understand my problem and help me in solving my problem can respond me back please.

                Airtel Mobile — Sim card activation

                Hi,

                This is Nilesh Engineer. I must say that you have done your website very well. Also Airtel takes a lot of care in its advertising and boasts about great customer care. There are 24 helplines and of course you can always send emails regarding complaints.

                I think if you would have spent some more money on training people how to respect deadlines rather than spending money on advertising and websites, you would have had more customers. NONE of your customer care staff knows how to tackle problems forget solving them.There is no follow up whatsoever and everytime a person calls in he has to verify himself. I dont know if you do the same when a person doesnt pay the bill. His number gets deactivated immediately and he starts receiving calls ASAP.

                Well about the problem -

                4th Aug 2008 (7:00pm) - I got a new Airtel post paid connection from your residency road outlet. I was told it will get activated the next day.

                5th Aug 2008 (11:00am) - A man came to my residence for verification. He told me the connection will be active by evening.

                6th Aug 2008 (1:00pm) - Since the connection was not activated till next morning I called up (your so called)customer care. I was told that there was a mismatch in the RECEIPT number.The number and SIM will be activated by evening. - Call duration - 15mins approx.

                7th Aug 2008 (6:15pm) - Number and SIM donot get activated, so I call up customer care again. This time I speak to a floor manager. I was told there is a mismatch in the SIM CARD NUMBER. The number and SIM will be activated by 10:15pm. - Call duration - 35mins approx.

                7th Aug 2008 (10:30pm) - Number and SIM donot get activated, so I call up customer care again. This time I speak to another floor manager - Rajesh. He tells me its in process and will get activated any minute. I ask for a deadline he says he cant give me one. But ensures that it will get activated.- Call duration - 20mins approx.

                8th Aug 2008 (10:00am) - Number and SIM donot get activated, so I call up customer care again.This time I speak to another floor manager - Shashi. She tells me it will get activated within 1 hour.???.- Call duration - 15mins approx.

                8th Aug 2008 (4:15pm) - Finally I decide to visit the same Airtel outlet from where I got the card. That guy cooly tells me that if I would have come there he would have gt it done in 1 hour's time. Amazing.

                8th Aug 2008 (10:15pm) - But unfortunately the job is still not done. So as usual I call customer care again.This time new floor manager - Venkatesh Ramanna. I guess this guy deserves an award cause he is your best employee, cause he didnt divulge with any names of his superiors. And he was the one to tell me that I need to change my SIM card. When I told him that I dont need this connection any more and I want to cancel it - he coolly gave me the number of the concerned department. He doesnt want more customers!!! Too many calls to be handled.

                While I am typing this email the connection is still inactive and sick and tired of calling customer care and visiting your galleries. So if you wish to retain me as a customer please do something about this situation, cause nobody is giving me an honest answer.

                Well I must tell you though that your BROADBAND customer service is much much better that the rest.

                Why do not plan to close your company, because I lost my mobile then I went to Airtel Shoroom at Community Centre, New Friends Colony, New Delhi for getting dublicate sim card, I shoked to listen that gird sharja told me that we donot have the duplicate sim cards from last 20 days. then I called a numer[protected] a gird anidata told me to send sim at my home address and she also assured that I must call you within 30mnts but didnt call me yet. and sim are also not available in south delhi shorooms.. my suggetion is not to give wrong promise. pl do the needful action and call me on [protected].

                  Today 17/1/2012 i got a missed call 1st and then there was continuous call at 8:04pm IST, after checking with the area code and all, its seems that number is from Pakistan. I did not answer that call though. But still after reading all the comments, i am worried now.

                    Sir, I have a Airtel Prepaid SIM which I am using for more than 2 years. From past 1 year, when I try to make an outgoing call to some specific Mobile Phone Numbers belonging to my friends, call does not connect and I hear a pre-recorded message - "you are not allowed to call on this number". I have asked my friends to check with their service providers and their service providers have confirmed that there is no issue on their mobile...

                    SMS Junction, Full track IP player, Romance alerts are unnecessarily activated on my number although i have not requested. Airtel is deductuing money from my prepaid account unnecessary. Customare Care not talking proprly & after that not picking calls from my number. This is very embrassing. Also note that this is not happening first time with me, they have done this so many times. Please help me out to get may mobile account balance back.

                    this happen to me second time. i have got the message that "thank you for subscribing to airtel radio. you have been charged Rs 20 for 20 mins of music, valid for 20 days." i don't subscribe for it. please take action

                    Dear Sir

                    I am having Nokia X2-00 set with airtel connection. My number is [protected]. For last three days contineously airtel is deducting unnecessary charges from my account. Whenever I take recharge, after some time I gets deduction of money in multiple of Rs. 20/-. I lost around Rs. 100/- in three days. So many requests have been given to customer care executives. They say it is because of Airtel Live and we are stopping these services. But nothing happened. Again I recharged my phone and without using phone charges has been deducted. I reset the factory setting from my mobile and again put AIRTEL sim. In preferred access setting it shows AIRTEL Live. I don't know how to handle this. Customer care numbers automatically getting disconnected. Also I visited AIRTEL office at Greater Noida but problem persists. Also It is shocking that I am not able to TALK with Customer care executives after dialing 198. I tried from other number but same problem is again on that number.

                    Ultimately I am thinking to surrrender my number but How I will get money which I lost??

                    This is Sarath Babu, My Airtel prepaid mobile no is [protected]. There are services like picture alert, Tamil movie alert, MMS subscription service...etc is activated with out my knowledge. Due to this , Every day some amount is billed from my prepaid account. This is the second time i made the same compliant.

                      Before porting i called to airtel MNP helpline number [protected] to know call rates and sms. Customer care executive told me that call rates will be 1p/2sec and daily first 100 are free.So I am ported in to airtel on[protected],but now i am charging 50 paise per sms....

                      I made an online recharge of Rs.102. on Fri, Dec 21, 2012 at 7:55 AM but the transaction failed due to some technical reason. (Transaction ID - 368262). But my money not refunded yet. I called customer care for two times both of the time they told me to wait and they will cut the call. After that i was blocked from making call to customer care. Its closer to a month but money not refunded.

                      Kindly look into this.

                              I had a pre paid number from 2008 April. I had shifted to chennai from July 2012 for a year but since this number was widely distributed i kept it active in a dual sim phone as a second number. out of blue my phone number was inactivated in December 2012 and now it has been given to another person. please tell me can i lodge a complain against Airtel and also how do i get my number back

                                Avoid Yelahanka New town Airtel Office. The customer service at Yelahanka New Town office is really poor and they are pathetic. They don;t care about customers. There are two girls working there and the other employees are always busy talking to them. They don't care about customers infact they even told me to switch to a different provider. Airtel also did not bother when I complained to them.It seems Airtel has got enough business and does not want any more business so it is better to switch to vodaphone or someone else who treat you much better.

                                  Hello sir,

                                  As we had broadband connection and our never exceeds 773.00,
                                  but this month it will 880.00, Pls clear me the reason

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  From Jan2009 i start net from Airtel with Unlimited Plan which is 799/month plan.
                                  After some month i want to disconnect this connection and call to customer care
                                  than they give me suggestions and give me another plan of 400/month with 50%
                                  discount i.e. 200/month and 100 local minutes free. This plan change from July.
                                  But last month i got 1622Rs. bill. and this month bill amount is 1615Rs.
                                  after change of this plan i not download nothing.
                                  What i do for this problem.
                                  Please do some need full help for me.

                                    I AM 72 YEAR OLD WIDOW AND VERY ILL. I HAD BROADBAND CONNECTION WHICH ON MY REQUEST WAS DISCONNECTED ON 16TH APRIL 2012. I HAD LEFT A SIGHNED CHECK BOOK WITH MY FRIEND TO PAY MY BILLS BEFORE I LEFT FOR USA FOR TREATMENT.
                                    THE BILL OF AUGUST 2012 WAS PAID AND BY MISTAKE BILL OF SEPTEMBER 2012 WAS ALSO PAID THOUGH THERE WAS NO INTERNET SERVICES. SINCE THEN BILLS ARE BEING SENT WITHOUT ANY SERVICES.MY FRIEND WHO HAS MY CELL PHONE IS BEING HARRASSED CONTIUOUSLY AND SOME MEN ARE BEING SENT TO MY RESIDENCE AND MY CARE TAKER IS BEING HARRASSED.TO PAY THE FALSE BILLS AND TO HAND OVER THE COMPUTER.
                                    I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHY SUCH A BIG COMPANY IS NOT GIVING SERVICES AND YET HARRASSING A SICK SENIOR CITIZEN.
                                    KINDLY INQUIRE HOW MUCH INTERNET WAS USED AFTER 15TH AUGUST 2012 AS I HAD CHECKED THAT INTERNET CONNECTION WAS DISCONECTED BEFORE I LEFT INDIA.
