[Resolved] Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill — unauthorised charges (Mob- [protected]) | |
My complaints are: 1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 4 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (Taheer talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month. 2) The charges of Rs.450 (in sep), Rs.120 (in Oct) and some more in months of August are imposed on my number on the account that, I have sent messages of these amounts to 58888 (which is indiatimes number to get cricket scores), but I haven’t sent any single message to this number. This is the second time I am having problem in the billing. Customer care people in AIRTEL does not know how to sort out the queries.
I have always paid my bills on time. For the past one year I have been receiving bills and am being charged for service which I dont use. Time and again I have called your contact centre and have been assured that all other services except for calls and texts will be taken off, but then this never happened.
Further to this the undersigned was issued a bill that claimed that the usage of the said number was more as a response to the Air- Tel Live Sms’s. When the same was informed to the Bharuch Airtel Office here in Gujarat I was answered in a very rude way that the same had to be paid, they (Airtel Employee and advocate of airtel) are threatening me that "they will file a case against me. Further to this your recovery agents visited my home for collection of payments and they were using abusive language as well as forcing my family members to pay up the bill amount or else get ready to face the consequences.
Unable to bear their ruthless behaviour the undersigned sent them a letter stating that the mistake was on their part and that if they got the waiver of Rs. 800/- that was charged for the Airtel Live Sms’ then the undersigned would settle this matter amicably, but instead of this they have issued me with a notice By their Advocate Shri Shamsingh. D. Hanjra for the Mediation Proceedings to be held on 29.05.2008 at 4.00 pm.
The undersigned will definitely take this matter up with the TRAI for further actions against the AIR_ TEL Company after waiting for a response from the Consumer Forum.

hi, my mobile no. is [protected].i am using this mobile only for incoming calls . for the last 3-4 months i am receiving sms on my mobile that my m.bill is pending.i don't understand where from this fake bill is generated.
while i have talked to customer care regarding this twice but instead of listenning to me they are telling me, that they have activated my STD package which i have not asked for.

on 29-5-2oo8 i applied for apostpaid connection, company send a sales ex. name ashok no.[protected] & mr. gaurav no. [protected] was codinatng with him he took 998 Rs for the plan &2000Rs for the no. he gave me the no.[protected] but he did'nt activate t but later on its come to know that the no was already in use .its all planed by mr. vijendre [protected] & mr.arun . pls help me out the company is doing fraud with the customer with the help of these team .i have proof of all this inciedent.PLS HELP ME OUT
