[Resolved]  Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill — unauthorised charges (Mob- [protected])

My complaints are:

1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 4 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (Taheer talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month.
2) The charges of Rs.450 (in sep), Rs.120 (in Oct) and some more in months of August are imposed on my number on the account that, I have sent messages of these amounts to 58888 (which is indiatimes number to get cricket scores), but I haven’t sent any single message to this number.

my mobile No [protected]. this is J&K postpaid connection. I am seving in Army & my posting from Srinagar to New Delhi on 10 May 09. I can not change my No. You can transfer my No to Delhi due to roaming & write nearest branch tele No then I contact.
PLS SEND MY MOBILE BILL OF THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2008 ON MY E-MAIL ID.

As I am no more interested in these facilities on my connection No.[protected], you are requested to withdraw the same without further delay and also withdraw charges of Rs. 4000/- immediately. Please note that if on your own you will continue this additional facility on my this connection, you will be held responsible for these charges which I shall not pay

I don't get proper SMS of my post paid bill. no soft copy of the bill. Always some issue with the payment though standard instructions are given. Horrible customer care services. Really frustated. Last time they have sent my mobile bill to an unknown user email id.
i am enable to recive my airtel bills from past three mounts, more i never requested for conference service, detail bill summary, also E-zmail.but several time i insisted to cut off aboveone but in every bill i have to bear the same.Hence I have planned to switch out of AIRTEL...MY NO [protected].

CLIP charges — bill period charges

Dear sir,
this is prabhu -[protected], regarding my postpaid bill, everymonth am getting extra Rs.25 for CLIP.But my colleuges ([protected]) are not getting this CLIP charges.and am not getting my itemised statement with my bill.

Airtel Postpaid mobile connection — Lethargic and not provided the service even after requesting several times

Hi,

In my online mobile postpaid bill from the airtel service providers my name they have sent is some stupid mixture of names.

Due to this i am not able to submit that online postpaid bill to my company for exempting from the tax redemption for the past two months.

I called them two months before and explained they said they will look this soon but till date i have not got any correction in my name.

I called last week to the airtel person and told him this is what my problem was and the reference no is:[protected] and that person told me it would be resolved soon. But no use.

Again called them and this time the customer care executive Ram took it and he consoled by showing empathy and escalated to Jagan his supervisor who in turn asked to cooperate with them for the next 24 hours and he will definitely see this and gave me a Reference no :[protected] but after 4 days still it has not solved.

I am highly frustrated and called to the airtel care again and this time Mumtaj the lady who dont even had the courtesy or empathy and her tone was like if you want tell me the issue otherswise i wont transfer this call to the supervisor. such a stupid lady working in airtel who doesn't know how to handle the situation and rude.

Now i am planning to file a case in FTC(Federation Trade Commission) as well TRAI. Can anyone has any previous experience in this?

this is really unacceptable and very shocking to use airtel postpaid.

the customer care department is really untrained and unprofessional towards my complaints.

for the last 2 months my billing amount has been added by advance rental plan 298 and as well as the higher call charges and clip charges and so many times i made a request for that but there was not a single time i got positive response from them.

and there senior executives laughing while in between of call, well i am quoting todays example while talking to Mr. Sumit,

and for the last 2 months i was not getting proof of billing amount into my changed add.

previously also i had some unethical experience with them and after along battle lot of time i got waiver also.

if this problem will be persistent in coming times then i have to go to right to information.

This mail is regarding international roming activation issue
i'm using this connection from more than 1.5 yr, and i never
faced any issue, i pay the bill regularly as well
However i went to Honkong and indonesia 3-4 months ago,
i know that i have isd call facility, and i was thinking that i also have
isd roming facility as well...but when i went out of india...i came to know that
there was no International-Roming facility, i sent an email to you and called to airtel to
activate International-Roming..Customer care exec. told me to deposit 6000 security deposit
without security deposit they will not activate.
It was impossible to pay 6000 when you out of your country, they suggested me to pay
by internet banking,
Finallaly i denied to do that, and they didn't activate International-Roming service.
And i purchased a New Prepaid sim card from indonesia that was more cheaper, which i still have with me..(Indonesian Sim card)
However if you check my bill attached with this mail...
You will find International-Roming charges, Now how it can possible if i didn't pay 6000 security deposit
They activated the service but didn't inform me about that...Very Poor :-(
I called you c.care service and i came to know about that... :-(

Now i'm paying the bill with some unwanted service...like
International-Roming charges and *Airtel live service* as told by your c.care executive,
I never activated airtel live service..and will not do in future aswell.
I know how to use a cellphone, as i'm already working as a network engineer in Cisco department.
I work on routers...cellphone is not bigtask for me.!!! i never never activated airtel live service.
Kindly deduct the unwanted amount of 671.65 Rupees from my account as soon as possible, so that i can pay my
actual Bill before the last date.

And the last thing that i want to mention here is, i called several times regaring the isd call issue
when i receive a call from indonesia...i get very clear voice
But when i make a call to indonesia ..sometime it doesn't connect easily and
Somehow if it connects..both parties get very bad voice responce.
Your tech. executives were trying to fix this issue from last 2 months...till now.
They couldn't fix it.

Sir i am a happy customer of your air tel services but due too some reasons i am not able to continue using my services, i had added a plan of rs 249 (4000 local air tel minutes) to my air tel postpaid no [protected], plus a message voucher worth rs 100 and a local std pack rs 35.
So I was charged a advance rental to all my services at the time of adding, but now i had discontinued using the services, so i wanted my advance rentals back of rs 249+100+35 = 374.
