[Resolved]  Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill — unauthorised charges (Mob- [protected])

My complaints are:

1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 4 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (Taheer talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month.
2) The charges of Rs.450 (in sep), Rs.120 (in Oct) and some more in months of August are imposed on my number on the account that, I have sent messages of these amounts to 58888 (which is indiatimes number to get cricket scores), but I haven’t sent any single message to this number.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — Billing with fine (not used since May-07)

I was having Mobile post paid connection of Airtel (Mob. No. [protected]) for the period from April 2005 to April 2007 (2 year plan) advance rental paid Rs. 900/-.They have charged Rs. 2598 including fine and filed a case against me for recovery in Delhi and I have also paid Rs. 2598 in the month of september 2007, with a request to close my mobile servisces but they are charging and not stoping sending bills. One thing I must mention I have not used this No. niether outgoing nor incoming since May-2007. Now They are harrassing me by making telephone calls.
I have been requesting at e seva where I generally pay the bill and some times at the Santhosh nagar office since, I got the connection (2002/3). I have requested several times to send the bill (which is reimbursable)but never ever I received. Neither the e mails have been attended to. However, they contact me for the payment through SMS ( 15 days well in advace they send SMS and a message stating that the courier despatched which never reaches) and also before the due date remind to pay by phone.
My pleas to make it e mail like bank credit card statements is in vain.

As from 1st Jan 2008 i am shifted to Delhi so i want to close this number [protected]. i have paid all the dues for the following number , the last payment i made at the Lajapt Nagar Outlet .
So i request you to please disconnect the number as soon as posiible and please dont send any further bills to the given address.

This is the second time I am having problem in the billing. Customer care people in AIRTEL does not know how to sort out the queries.

The problem is AIRTEL had disconnected my line in November’07 for non payment for which there was billing problem in the first instance. Then after lots of discussion it was agreed to pay Rs.1800/- out of an Outstanding of Rs.2300/- and get the NO DUE CERTIFICATE by waiving of the balance amount. As agreed the collection executive came to my office and collected the cheque from me, for which the customer care executive said that NO DUE CERTIFICATE will be given after the cheque is cleared in their bank account. Till today there is no reply from AIRTEL nor from the executives who called me for the payment.

Then again they have connected my line after the cheque was cleared in their account. It was connected exactly on the billing date that was on 5th Jan’08 and to my surprise I have received a bill at my residence for Rs.1200/-. For which the Break up was the old waiver amount not done and one month rental charges during which they have disconnected the number and I have not at all used is also been charged.

My query is ---- do other providers charge one month rent in advance ?
I have taken Rs. 999/- schem for two year but airtel send bill @ 150/- per month the same had been paid, when I complained that my plan is for two year the assured that this will be adjusted in my nex call charges bill during the whole period they have not adjusted the same, i request to airtel Outket sector 4 dwarka for deactivate the service and issue me bill af any due or payment exess rent paid by me inseated of issuing the bill Airtel Employee and advocate of airtel are threatining me that "the file case against me.
it is requeste to please issue me a bill after adjusting excess rent deposited.

Airtel mobile postpaid — Unauthorised calls charges

I am very disappointed with the kind of services Airtel are providing. I talked to a lot of people in your customer care centre, but each time I am getting no solution talks.

My complaints are:

1. firstly in my december month bill due dated 31.12.2007 in this bill so many number of calls charged approx. Rs. 55 in my bill due to connectivity problems. these calls are 1,2,3 seconds and some calls are 20 seconds in contunuation .

2. secondly i was paying through MCHEK. so i was received free local messages. i was send 31 local messages. i saw january month bill due date[protected] charged rs. 31 of local messages.
So, i am really fedup from Airtel at these time due to inconvience of billing matters.

i am one of the oldest customer of your services and my bill id mostly to the tune of Rs 3000/- monthly apart from this I have been regularly paying the bills etc. However, i am extremely displeased to inform that despite my numerous complaints at your 121 no regarding extreme network problem at my residence cum office. Everytime weather it is day or night I have to come in the open or the road outside my house to hear to any phone call. tell me then what is the use of keeping a mobile phone when it is causing me extreme inconvenience,mental agony *& harassment to me. To FUR THUR TRAUMATISE ME YOU(AIRTEL) PEOPLE ARE NOT AT ALL RESPONDING TO YOUR CONSUMER/CLIENT ACUTE PROBLEM DESPITE NUMEROUS MESSAGES & TALK AT 121. It appears that the purpose of your organisation is just to collect the monthly dues and give reminders only about your money, after getting the monthly amount you people are least bothered about your client & ensures that he has a cardiac arrest or brain hemorrhage because of the stresses & strains due to you guys. I may furthur add that because of your network problem which in turn amounts to incomplete/unclear/disturbed calls, it has amounted to affect my business & day to day working too.It is added that as a layman the only solution to the technical problem is the setting of a tower near to my place of operation.

i am a pre-paid customer of airtel, I have taken this connection on 10th of december 2007 and i have submitted the relevant documents for the connection(my company id xerox and pan card xerox) after almost 2 months o[censored]sage of this card suddenly my outgoing is suspended because of non submission of documents and that to without prior intimation of suspension.

from past 4 days i am not able to call anyone, i have given complaint to 121 and they have given me ref-no [protected] and nothing has been done yet.

if this type of service is given to customers then no one will show interest in using this airtel card.
please send my last 2months call details on my email adress.my mobile no is-[protected].
