[Resolved] Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill — unauthorised charges (Mob- [protected]) | |
My complaints are: 1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 4 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (Taheer talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month. 2) The charges of Rs.450 (in sep), Rs.120 (in Oct) and some more in months of August are imposed on my number on the account that, I have sent messages of these amounts to 58888 (which is indiatimes number to get cricket scores), but I haven’t sent any single message to this number. i am a Airtel customer since last 4 years. my credit limit was more than Rs.9000. i had a change in plan to the corporate account. today my credit limit is just Rs.500.
this is the benifit that Airtel gives to the customer for being brand loyal.
it is really a pity on part of the provider for not trusting the customers.
on top of this i get calls from customer care telling that they will disconnect my facilities if i dont pay the bills. my bills are not even generated and such calls are to be faced. rather looking at the past history, they can consider such cases as a courtesy...!

I am an airtel customer using airtel services with following numbers one is [protected] and the second one is an FWP and the number for the same is [protected].
My mobile number got activated on 25th of december and since that day i am facing problem with the service being provided by airtel first of all i was facing the call drop issue my calls where getting dropped to most of the local numbers ad also my STD calls where getting dropped and i contacted customer care quit a few times since then i have been barred from reaching customer care fortunately for them and unfortunately for me.
Further more most of the time i mean to say that whenever i want to contact any of the local BSNL and AIRCEL numbers my calls are not getting trough out of 100 calls only 2 to 3 calls are sucessfull.
Recently i have to face a strange issue "i am able to send SMS to one of the airtel number but i am not able to receive the SMS from that number" after thoroughly checking the issue at my end i happen to report the issue to customer care through sms they assured me that regarding this issue you will receive a call back from the concerned department unfortunately what those guys are doing is that they are giving me the miss calls then after i reported this issue to the customer care and someone gave me the call and she was not able to resolve my issues and in the process she did no belive that i am really facing the issue regading the SMS.
Also when i gat my FWP number since that date i raised the issue regarding thr voice quality of that device when i continously reported that issue i was once again barred from reacing customer care now for the second number as well, before actually barring my number i got he directions from customer care how to get this issu resolved the process was " FIRST I WAS DIRECTD TO REACH NE OF THE AIRTEL OUTLET WHERE I GAVE MY DEVICE FOR CHECKING AND THEY VERIFIED AND REPORTED DEVICE IS WORKING PROPERLY AND I WAS TOLD THAT NO FURTHE ASSISTENCE REGARDING THIS ISSUE BUT AS YOU KNOW I WAS DESPRATELY LOOKING FOR THE RESOLUTION AND I CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE ONCE AGAIN NOW I WAS BEING TOLD TO REACH ONE OF THE AIRTEL OUTLE DEALING ONLY WITH FWP DEVICES LUCKLY WHEN I REACHED THERE ONE OF THE ENGINEER CHECKED AND REPORTED THAT DEVICE IS WORKING PROPERLY ONCE AGAIN UNFORTUNATELY FOR AIRTEL AND FORTUNATELY FOR ME I GOT A CALL AT THE SAME TIME AND WHEN I WAS ONLINE THE ENGINEER THOUGHT SOMETHING AND WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO LEAVE HE TOLD TO ME THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO CHECK THE DEVICE ONCE AGAIN AND WITH A SINGLE LOOK ON THE DEVICE HE REPORTED THAT THE DEVICE IS FAULTY AND HE TOLD ME TO HANDOVER THE DEVICE TO HIM SO THAT HE WILL GET IT FIXED AND FOR MY SATISFACTION HE TOLD ME IF YOU CAN PERSONALLY VISIT THE SHOP WHERE THESE DEVICES ARE GETTING FIXED THEY WILL GIVE IT IMMEDIATELY BACK KEEPING THAT THING IN MIND I WENT TO THAT SHOP AND THE CONCERNED PERSON REPORTED THAT IT WILL TAKE SOMETIME AS THEY ARE HAVING HEAVY WORLOAD AND ALSO THIS IS A FACTORY PROBLEM IT MAY TAKE SOME MORE TIME AND I DECIDED THAT I HAVE NOT USED THIS DEVICE BETTER FOR ME TO GET IT REPLACED UNTIL TODAY IT IS STILL WITH ME AND AIRTEL DID NOT BOTERED TO GET THIS ISSUE RESOLVED"

with rspct 2 my previous letter ihave not rcvd answer from ur end.Iam the well old costumer of 8years.Becz o[censored]r sales exicutive's force only I have switched over 2
postpaid.Becz of the herrasement given and unethical calls for bill payment and
in the letter mentioned of 149 strter plan 600 mnts airtel 2 airtel free i have used more than 300 min.Now ur off manager at Mysore karnataka is arguing u r not rcvd letter likethat and we r not responsible for the orginal letter rcved from Bangalore off and they charged Rs 50 towds clip dharges only for 5 days which is illegl and ur off people used valgure languages and i hav given letter on 6th march to stop postpaid connection till the problem is solved But they hav not taken the letter and showed irrespect to me and no answer for my one more lettr 26/3/08 and i am in confusion
of not answering to my old costumer and to my family and friends I hope sir u will look in 2 this matter and do the the needful i will go ahead for further steps.My mobile already been disconnected.This is the 3rd and finel letter
