[Resolved]  Airtel — Spunk Models Spam deducted my money without my knowledge

Airtel activated Spunk Models useless service on my number: [protected] without my knowledge. I want complete refund and deactivation of this service asap.
This is really ridiculous activity of Airtel. This has happened to other Airtel users in my family too. They activate anything they want on their own or by using spams or flash messages. Normal person who doesn't know these things can easily be fooled by this. This is simply very wrong.
I am definitely going for Mobile Number Portability along with other Airtel users in my family. This is worst network ever.
I want full refund for this.

Airtel called me and refunded my money. They ensured that they'll not make the same mistake again. Overall I'm very satisfied with their service.

Despite emailing, phoning 121 and every other method I could think of, Airtel keeps sending me several times a day nonsense FRIENDZ CHAT messages.
And this despite my Nokia cellphone being registered with the National Do Not Disturb registry!
The sender's No. is a steady 543216. My cell No.: [protected], am based in Kolkata.
Is there any way to [censored] Airtel?

Airtel Telecom Company — Unwanted SMS with deduction of my balance

Respected Sir/Madam,
With reference the above subject. I am suffered from unwanted sms coming from the number 53030. I to have complaint to the above mentioned company, but it is not take any appropriate action hence they charges me 5 rupees of sms. My telephone number is as below

Airtel — DEDUCTION OF MY MONEY FOR HELLO TUNES WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE

I got a message on my airtel mobile on 20 may 2009 at 3:30 p.m that you are subscribed for HELLO TUNES. ( please note that i had not asked to subscribe me for hello tunes ). I immediately called the airtel customer care and unsubscribed the service. 5 minutes later i recieved a message that you have been charged Rs 20 for hello tunes . AIRTEL, please make a note of it that we are not fools or buffoons to take your prepaid service and tolerate all your nonsense. Do not try to be oversmart. Now, I want you to fix the problem and REFUND my money as soon as possible. If not, I would Be forced to go for a case against you in the CONSUMER COURT.

Sir in the date of 27july 30Rs was deducted from my mobile by airtel after deducting i complained on airtel custumer care service and they said to me shahrukh khan pack was used by u but i said to them that i did not use this pack so they returned my 30Rs but after one day in the date of 29july they again deducted 30Rs and i again called them but they again said to me that u have used shahrukh khan pack and again i said i have not used this pack but they didnt give the answer and cutted my phone so sir plz help me bcoz they again n again deducting my money from my phone plz help me.

My wife Mrs. Megha Lalwani who resides in Jaipur (Rajasthan) holding the Airtel Phone no. [protected] is facing problems in receiving SMS's, MMS's and Audio messages from abroad. She can only send any of these but not receive the same.

Please help her to set all the service center numbers and access points which are necessary to operate all the above mentioned services.

I am Sarfraj Shigave, customer of Airtel since last 2 years. I have two postpaid mobile connections of Airtel. I am paying the Airtel bill on regulag time. Just check my billing details. I have paid all the bill before due dates. My mobile no.s are [protected] and [protected]. Since yesterday morning my second no. i.e. [protected] is showing not in use. Means when I am calling that no. its showing that this no. is not in use. I have tried to call customer care. They told me that as Airtel is updating system they cant do anything upto 11th of Sep. 2009. Today morning I went to your Tilak Road’s customer care service center. The office time is 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. The office opens at 9.30. I went there at 9.50. But the sweeper man refused me to seat in the office. He told me to wait outside the office. I asked him that I will wait inside as there are just 10 minutes remain. But he was speaking very rudely with me. Then up to 11.oo am no one Airtel employee was available in the office. At 11 o’clock one lady came. I told her my problem. She told me there are phones. So call on 888. I tried to call on 888, but the call was dropping. I again told her it’s not connecting. She can’t do anything; you have to wait for half an hour as express office employee will came half an hour late. I asked her “But office time is 10.00 to 8.00”. She told me those express officers are used to come late by half an hour daily. So we can’t do anything.”

In this way I was there up to 11.10 but no one was there to solve my problem. Then I have asked her where the complaint box is? She replied you can not do anything against us. You may either wait or you may go now.

This happens with me second time. Last time also when I had lost my cell I went there and asked the lady to block my card as it is postpaid connection. She replied first put the complaint in police station and come with complaint document; I told her I am going to put the complaint in police station. But first block my card. Even I had shown her my ID proofs as she is saying that how can we believe that this card is on your name?

Now tell me whether it is a customer care office or customer harassment office. any queries call me on [protected].
Please tell me what to do?

I have been contacting the customer care 121 and mobile customer care no[protected] there is no response from them, they just disconnect this shows how the private company work and they talk a lot with A.R. Airtel — Wanton removal of money from card

Sir I am a prepaid card user . Every time I recharge my card Rs20/- is cut from my amout citing various excuses Cricket sms .Airtel radio etc.This is done every time I have a balance of Rs20/-Will thid day light robbery stop.I have not authorised any one to take money like this Let me know how many times I must approach the customer care .The number which has been victimizing me is [protected].Will the company guys approach this guy and ask him to refund all the unwarranted removal of money from my card as various charges.

myself sumeet thakur,today at 07:45 pm to 08:15 pm i recieved 2 messages from airtel,the messages were thank you for downloading suden strike and you have charged Rs 99 and and flintoff power play cricket you have charged Rs 99.at my mobile.and then i called airtel customer care no 121,[protected],12118 but i didn't talk with any customer care representative,because they doesn'nt connect call with them.i have tried so many times but they doesn't connect.and i sent complent messages on 121 c.c no.but they didn't give any suitable response.so i request you please take some strong action against them, sir i always phase that problem from airtel site.i want my money (198 Rs) back because that is my hard work money.and airtel take easily.

Airtel — balance deducted by Airtel within 24 hours without any service activated by us

I am Yogesh, i had my Airtel sim connection more than four years, now from few days Airtel mobile is deducting my balance from time to time, we had register a complaint to Airtel customer care but they always tell us that on your mobile some services have been activated, but the fact is that we haven't activated any services. They had deducted our balance with in 24 hours after recharge. some days before we again registered a complaint to custmer care to revert back the balance they had deducted, they had done that but after some time they had deducted again.

Sir same situation came again, Airtel had deducted my balance, yersterday on date 14-march-2010 i had e-rechared my mobile with RS 60.00/-, and got balance of RS 52/-, on next day means on 15-march-2010 when i checked the balance after doing some calls, balance is shocking only RS 18.60/- are remaining. I don't know where is my balance is gone or used.

Same case is held with my 2nd mobile also. so i didn;t recharge that mobile this month (march 2010).

Airtel custmer care always told us that, they will not deduct our balance again. All services had been disabled previously by customer care after our request. but still they were deducting our balance. If we have any urgency and there is no balance in our mobile then what will we do.

So I am very frusted with the service of Airtel, i want to Register complaint against Airtel in Customer court. Please advice what steps to be followed for registering complaint.

AirTel — Deducting Balance by activating the services without my knowledge

Airtel activating services without my knowledge and deducting amount my account. Few days back, suddenly my balance was reduced by Rs. 20. I was shocked and called to airtel customer care. They told, Friends Chat was activated from my side before 20 days. But i didnt activate and also i didnt receive any notification of activation of service and amount deduction. i argued with Customer care executive and he refunded Rs.20. My Mobile no. is [protected]. Is this the way of India's No.1 mobile service provider earning money? If they do like, they will reach World no.1 company by cheating common man.

I think airtel is a very big company which can earn more money from customers without prior information also....

I am using for the past 3 years....
But suddenly a msg came from airtel blog that " you have been subscribed and charged Rs.10 per month".....
what nonsense is this??

how can they do like this without any subscription made by a customer?

if it goes on like this.......then per customer Rs.10 .. imagine if it touches around 1000 customers -->> then 10 * 10000 = Rs. 100000 ..

All these money are from customers only.....

I hope airtel will do necessary action to control these things..

Else many customers by chance can get migrated to other service provider as Govt. of India has announced new scheme by just making Rs.19.. ( Rs. 19 is much better than Rs.10 to get deducted with prior knowledge from customer)..

Airtel — Balance Deduction with out my knowledge

Hi

I have a deduction of 120/- at random within 15 minutes. I asked customer care people they asked me wait till 27 January. And again and again some Service reply is coming and they are deducting my balance. This is a prepaid connection and how can i stay without balance as i use this number for official use. my complaint number is CBDCC[protected]

Consider this complaint as high priority. As i need to keep balance in this phone. And please make this service request off from my phone. And try to revert My balance back as soon as possible.

This was a very bad expirice using AIRTEL. I`m using airtel from last 6 year and never faced this kind of behaviour. Now i guess i need to search some other service provider with better customer service.I`m calling your representatives again and again but i`m not getting any kind of reply from them.

I talked to your representatives many times, they told me this deduction was because of downloading. So i want to make it clear, i have 99 rupees unlimited download pack and i renewed it on 22 Jan 2011.I have no other service for which you can deduct balance. Your representatives asked me to resolve my issue till 27th Jan 2011. I called them on 27th Jan 2011, they had an excuse that they need time and will resolve my issue on or before 31 Jan. Sir I`m not getting option of talking to your representatives directly when i`m calling your customer care number. Can i get explanination on this?

That 120/- rupees deduction was without any reason and today is 31 Jan 2011. As per your representative i should get my deducted balance back today. I need a reply on it as soon as possible.
