Rather than looking to real problem & customer inconvenience i.e. premature failure of remote working malfunctioning. You are looking for the charges.

I request you to send the Engineer after consulting me to replace the New Remote Control free of charge as this is clear defect within short time with no fault from customer side. You should agree with this.

To retain the customer confidence you must avoid such escape of responsibility when fault if from your side. This will help your organisation to make progress & keep your share in market.

Nothing has happened & I am facing problem with Remote. I.e. Left hand vertical line buttons are not working , middle & Right hand side working ok. This shows substandard quality of remote which should not happen.

Air Tel digitalTV — channel not supplied

Airtel — Very substandard quality of equipment and service

I had purchased 5 Airtel DTH connections for my residential use on August 2nd 2009. However, since then I have been having many problems with the Set Top Boxes supplied. In the last six months many problems have been reported to Airtel DTH Customer Care.

Firstly, they call back and fix a time they would come to rectify the problems and then they don't turn up.

Bigger problem is the number of times the problems occur. Some of my Set Top Boxes have been changed two to three times in first six months only.

I am worried that once the warranty period of 1 year finishes, then they would ask for payment for a new set top box each time one fails along with engineer visiting charges. This would be a very costly proposition.

All problems because of very low quality of service and equipment by Airtel.

Airtel — Poor quality of setup box

Very poor quality from airtel.. no proper response for email thats been sent and even no response for the complaints lodged!! my set up box is out of order since a month.. i dont know wat to do with it now..

They indeed have a very poor customer services. Its like once you have chosen their product you are trapped.
Recently I was facing issue with reception on which without any enquiry the executive said, engineer would visit and he will charge Rs. 100. When I asked its issue on Airtel's side why should I pay, his response was that since you are using the service, you have to pay.
Why are paying the other charges to Airtel.
Totally disgusting service..!!
