    Hello Everyone..

    I am here seeking help for the tremendous frustration I have gone through since last 5 days.

    I purchased a Sony LCD television on Monday 4th of April 2011. I purchased the LCD from :

    Sony World, Canada Corner, Nashik

    As per the ongoing offer from Sony, we received a free HD DTH connection from Airtel with our television which includes free subscription for three months. We were told the Airtel DTH team will come and fit the dish and set top box etc and we will need to pay Rs. 1000/- for activating our free Airtel HD connection.

    We were given the following number for Airtel customer service, where we needed to contact to get our HD DTH connection activated :

    Someone Mr. Navnath noted down our request and sent a couple of people to fit the dish and set top box to our house. We already had a Airtel Normal DTH connection. The new one that we received free with Sony television is a HD DTH connection. We asked the people who had come to fit the dish, if we can use one dish for two connections and they said, yes you can have both connections under one Airtel DTH ID. They told us, we just need to attach the HD set top box to the television where we wish to see HD tv, and the normal set top box to television where we wish to see normal Airtel DTH connection.

    They did all the fitting and took Rs. 1000/ from us to get the HD dth connection activated. This was 4 days ago i.e on Tuesday i.e 5th of April 2011 when they took Rs.1000 from us to get Airtel HD DTH connection activated, and told us, the connection will be activated in one hour.

    Their one hour has not come till now, and they have completely pissed us of with all types of illogical excuses one can think of. As a customer I have tried to communicate with them in every possible way to get our HD connection activated.. However, everytime I am being ignored and turned down with an answer "Your connection will get activated in a couple of hours". This has been ongoing since Tuesday.

    I have made almost 40 - 50 calls to their number mentioned above, and everytime being ignored with the same answer that connection will get activated in couple of hours.

    I also tried contacting Mr. Ranjit Chavan, who boasts himself to be the head of Nasik Airtel DTH Service Center. Even he lied to us, and told us the connection will get activated by evening 5. Everyone in Airtel have misguided us, lied to us, given us false hopes, and given all types of illogical excuses to activate our connection.

    I believe, just because the HD DTH connection was offered to us free of charge, these people are deliberately trying to delay our connection activation and deliberately trying to avoid us.

    I am here trying to seek help, where I can bring this pathetic customer service offered by Airtel DTH division in Nasik to a customer who is so very frustrated that I feel like filing a case against them for wasting my energy, time, money running behind them, and moreover for giving me mental torture and harrasment by purposely avoiding my request to activate the free HD DTH connection that I have received.

    I have tried to inquire any kind of contact information to any kind of senior executive in Airtel, but I am bluntly turned down everytime and refused to gain access to any such person.

    I am highly unsatisfied with Airtel's service and highly recommend, whatsoever happens, please please please, never go for Airtel DTH connection services. No matter how much cheap they offer, even if they offer free, never never never do any business with these people. These people are completely unethical people, having no values towards a customer and try to frustrate you in every possible way they can, without any kind of shame towards their deeds.

    I request someone to help me, guide me to get this sorted and that too at the earliest.

    I have also tried to contact their complaint registration form at http://www.airtel.in/dth/leads/complaint/lead.html however I do not expect any kind of genuine help from there.. I have lost all faith in Airtel and highly recommend everyone to stay away from these th

    I am going through the same problem right now. Waiting for 48 hrs for activation. I cannot even login to their selfcare. Customer ID is not getting displayed in my Menu. Whenever I am trying to call the customer care, they are turning down my request as the system wont even recognise my Customer ID

      dear sir,

      we have done activations as per the instruction of our asm(anoop) for the month january. but when the claim released we did not got the payement. when asked they told that payment has been blocked by head.


      by that month i stopped the act from that month am discouraging the retailers from doing activation, bcoz they will not get the claim. airtel is cheating the retailers by saying good activation scheme and not giving the claim.

        Since last few weeks Airtel started to cheat some customer. Unnecessarily it activates some value added services without customer's prior permission. And when we contact the customer care personnels, some fools (of them) try to convince us that we activated that service personally.
        I am S.Ghosh, a Defence personnel, my mobile no. is [protected]. I have been a airtel customer since last 6-7 years. Usually I activate NOP or Mobile Office every month. And I think I need not to take any advice from a fool (some of them) to activate any service. On 08/04/11 I found that Rs.10 is deducted from my account for activating the airtel blog (Bachchan). Immediately I informed the c.care. But some 'Manik'(cust.care exe.) forcefully told me that I activated that personally. Some days earlier a 'chat service with some tolly actress' was activated automatically. Anyway, then Airtel admitted their fault and I got back my deducted balance. Some of my friends facing same type of VAS service activation problems for the last few months. So, I request the Authority to look into matter with immediate urgency. Otherwise we have to choose other option through MNP.

        Airtel — forceful activation of value added service

        my no. is [protected]

        I deactivated my services of picture posts for hollywood and bollywood.
        but it again gets reactivated on its own and i get the msg. for it had been reactivated and charged rs.10

        it happened for 10 times.
        as i deactivate it, after few hours it gets reactivated..

        please get it solved as soon as possible..and i want the 100 rs. that had been deducted from my balance to be credited...
        this is really a serious issue, as i cant even anyhow deactivate it...

        i'll be very thankful to the concerned..!!

        Airtel — faulty activation of service

        i m utilizing the pre paid services of airtel & my mobile no. is [protected]. it is always happening with me that without activation of any services from my side the company is activating different services and unnecessarily debiting my account. after talking to the customer care executive it is informed by them i have been activated the services but it is not so. is there any curb to the company for doing these ridiculous things to me .

        I never seen such cheating from airtel. Yesterday (23rd Apr 2011) on 8.37pm when I was on online using my mobile(moblie No:[protected]) network suddenly airtel radio activated service appears and Rs.20/- is deducated from my account.
        Suddenly I surprice that I cannot enteror contact any services how it activate. I contact my demo service sim via (M:[protected]) to airtel representative they said that you yourself activated the service. (answered ticket nos: 75820650, 75821097, 75821246, 75822057,[protected]. How "worst it is?"
        I say if you have to make money please leave your wife, mother & siters to prostitution give to customers to enjoy and earn money. Don't do like this.
        Your representatvie make me cheating more than three times like this activating tirupati live service, astrology pack & now airtel radio pack.
        what/s results doing like this?

          with reference to my mobile no. [protected], since last six months I get unsolicited calls messages and many so called value[vulgar] added services are pouring in to my mobile phone. A lot of money is being deducted out of my pre paid balance. Therefore I have no clear idea as to how much amount has been deducted from my balance. The company does not issue any statement regarding the money swindled out of consumer account. MY request is ;1- stop the messages and unsolicited calls from my mobile,
          2, refund all the charges with interest for at least of six months. 3 provide me a copy of of services added to my connection. The company should beg apology publicly for

                Background on the issue:

                1. On 6th april, 12.24 PM, I got a message that I have been subscribed to Gamesclubsubscription service from Airtel live <54321>.
                2. I got two more messages the following day 7th april and 8th april at 1.31 and 2.06 PM respectively.
                3. I get a message that some game has been downloaded and 75 Rs were deducted. There is no physical file/app of the game.
                4. I got subscribed to a cricket service a while later and got a message from airtel live.

                Resolution:
                I called the Supervisor and he verified that I had browsed through my gprs connection to a site called wap.mauj.com and registered to the Games subscription service, which somehow got automatically done. Nor did I have any downloaded game nor do i acknowledge going to that site manually.. He reimbursed 85 rs into my account and advised me to disable any settings in my messaging applicaiton which auto opened any push service messages. I found no such option on my samsung galaxy S android phone.

                Realization:
                To investigate further, I opened one of the android apps and clicked on an advertisement and it redirected me to 203.115.112.79 website which I found is airtel live webpage, where I could see that no services or subscriptions are registered. However that ad that i had clicked led to a deduction of 50 Rs downloading a game again with no physical application file downloaded on my phone.
                Note that I have deleted airtel live and airtel mms APNs on my mobile since I have switched to Prepaid almost a year ago and never had I faced such harassment.

                Later at 10.30 pm on 8th april I get a message saying that I am not registered on DND and every 20 minutes thereon I got a Push message for Airtel Live WAP Cricket subscription. I strongly suspect some foul play with Airtel trying to push the airtel live messages deliberately.

                and thats it staying loyal to Airtel for 4 years comes to an end.

                  I have purchased a prepaid card [protected] on 6th April and also submitted all the legal documents as per the company norms. The retailor shop name FREINDZ MOBILE(Neredmett Old Ps) promised that it will be activated within 24 hours after the given time the number is not been activated when I contacted the customer care 121 I did not get the proper answer i have made a numours calls from my mobile [protected] after 72 hours also the number is not activated when i contacted ms Veena in hyderabad she is unable to give me the suitable answer. Being No.1 Network is not great customer satisfaction is great Mr. Sunil Mittal please stop robbing from people pockets. I have wasted the time and money running back of a idiotic company.

                    I, Anurag Zope ([protected]) would like to inform you about random activation of services while browsing. I was browsing when a page opened for downloading games, I closed the window but still i got a message that I have subscribed to T20 game and I have been charged 99 Rs, again I was subscribed to airtel cricket pack for 30Rs without me having enabled it. If you can ask for confirmation for stopping a paid service, why cant you ask confirmation before you start/subscribe to any paid service/ third party applications etc. I have had to pay 130 Rs without my fault. Please ensure a confirmation mechanism is in place for charged services/apps before they can be activated / downloaded.

                      before 2 months, i have balance 10 rupees. i didn't use airtel sim last two months. one day i put that sim on my cell and try to make the call. but i didn't make the call because my balance became negative 10 rupees. i shocked. usually airtel behave like this.

                      i got the balance in negetive RS/-200(AXP), and again i rechaged by RS/-399.Then the balance got -500(axp) now plz tel me what to do? and tell me about my amt from which i rechage my account

                        From yesterday i called 121 for customer care to have discussion with customer care representative. I have a complaint regarding there very bad service: I tired 10attempts to call customer care representative even they are charging .50 paisa for 3 minute after forwarding call to representative my call got disconnected.

                        I have recharged for Rs98 for net connection, got recharge is successful. I'm using Sumsung galaxy 5, i unable to connect the net. Please do favour
                        regarding issue, send me manual settings to change in my mobile...

                          this is surender, i use 98rs gprs pack,
                          i renewed amount of 444 on 6th april, then for renewing my 98rs gprs pack i've
                          dialed *567#, it given message as i've been already activated this pack.
                          i got a message that i gprs pack will automatically renewed according to your balance.
                          on 7th morning my balance was 0.0rs (total lost 444rs+138rs)
                          then i called up customer care they said to deactivate internet by *567*2# then activate it .
                          but it has given option to NOP(net on phone) which by mistake, i've pressed costing me 99rs
                          total lost 444+138+99, refund my amount.

                          i am a customer of airtel prepared, Last day i got an sms saying, i have been charged Rs 30 for subscribing airtel radio. but i didnt subscribe anything. Then i tried unscubscribing and after some time, i got an sms saying, the service has been unsubscribed. but still i didnt get my money back, and now my balance is running negative. when i tried to call customer care executive, the call gets hanged up automatically whgile connecting with executive, iam not able to make any calls or anything, and this is pretty bad, what the heck is this ??. if a person cant make calls while they needs to.

                          THOUGH I ACCIDENTALLY CLICKED ON THAT ADD, HUNGAMA PAGE LINK DID NOT OPEN AND LATER AFTER SOME TIME I GOT A SMS SAYING I HAVE BEEN CHARGED 99 RS.

                          WITH OUT ANY NOTICE OR INFORMATION HOW CAN THEY DEDUCT AMOUNT

                          THE NEXT DAY AFTERNOON I RECIEVED A CALL FROM AIRTEL EXECUTIVE AND I LODGED HIM MY COMPLAINT.

                          HE ASKED ME TO DIAL 198 AND LODGE A COMPLAINT

                          I CALLED HIM AND ASKED HIM ABOUT MY 99 DEDUCTED AMOUNT

                          HE WAS SO RASH AND COULDNT JUSTIFY MY PROBLEM. HE TOLD ME IF I COULD HAVE CALD HIM 24 HRS BEFOR HE COULD HAVE CREDITED ME AMOUNT,,

                          BUT I CALD HIM BEFORE 24 HRS ONLY AND I COULDNT GET MY PROBLEM SOLVED

                          HE TOLD HE WOULD CONNECT THIS CALL TO HIS MANAGER, HE PUT ME ON HOLD FOR A WHILE AND DISCONNECTED THE CALL

                          SOON AFTER THIS I TRIED TO DIAL 198 AGAIN BUT THEY BLOCKED MY NUMBER I COULDNT REACH THEM

                          I REQUEST THE TRAI TO DO SOME NECESSARY ACTIONS TO BE IMPLEMENTED AS MOBILE OPERATORS ARE ACTING LIKE ROBBERS AND DEDUCTING MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS

                          This is to inform you that AIRTEL has become ONE of the WORST mobile services. I activated the internet pack of Rs.17-200MB for 3days validity,at that time i had Rs.110.52 in my balance, then i started browsing my email and downloaded my photo of 6.45MB size, which was not fully downloaded. It suddennly stopped then i checked out my balance it is showing Rs.0.52. I called up the customer service immediately and highlight the problem, but of no use in complaining to them. They play lot of game with customer and does not respond properly. Right now i have 3 compliant nos. but still the problem was not solved.
                          Even though my internet service is not activated, i did the calculation of charges, that is AIRTEL is charging Rs.0.20 for 30KB to be downloaded, when calculated for 6.45MB it comes around Rs.45 only. Now when i tried to call the customer services my no. is being blocked by AIRTEL and im not in a position to speak to the service providers.
                          there needs to be an updates as soon as my pack expires, than to drive towards default pack. Made calls to Customer care people for about 8 times and they made me waited saying will transfer to senior executive and no one lifts even after one hour..

Which I haven't subscribed yet, when I called customer care on 121 they asked me to call 198. when I called 198 they said its Karnataka customer care and asked me to call 121 but when I said I called them before and they have asked me to call 198, then they asked me to call chennai customer care and gave me the no [protected]. When I called this number they said its aircel customer number. Again I tried to call 121 but now they blocked my number Iam unable to connect customer care on 121.

                                  The following email has been sent to Airtel customer service [protected]@in.airtel.com; but no response as of now:

                                  This is in reference to the mobile number [protected]
                                  I had activated 3G services in the middle of March(Rs 100 for 100 MB usage for a month) after the Customer Service executive told me that I would receive an SMS as soon as I cross 80% of my usage (80 MB).
                                  However, I never got any such SMS from Airtel.

                                  The very first SMS I received was on 24th March stating :
                                  “Your GPRS data usage as on 23-03 is Rs2689. This exceeds your free data usage quota. Kindly pay Rs. 2689 to continue enjoying 3G service…..”

                                  I was shocked and I immediately called the customer care. The people there said that it was unbilled amount and that the details will come only in the bill.
                                  However, I stopped using 3G after that.

                                  Now I have received a bill of Rs 3967. The customer service person said that this is a “valid charge” and hence he can’t give me any complaint number as such.
                                  He said this was the charge for some 250 MB data usage whereas I should have received and SMS after I crossed 80% of my usage.
                                  How would I know that my free usage is over unless you send me an SMS or some alert for the same?

                                  This is a completely fraudulent charge and I refuse to pay this amount.

                                  Kindly resolve this issue or else I will be forced to disconnect the number.

                                  Airtel — Levy of non-usage charges of sms service.

                                  Subject : Airtel Bill No.[protected], dated 09-May-2009.

                                  I would like to draw your kind attention to the aforesaid Bill which is exhorbitant and excessessive, particularly the SMA charges as I have not sent even a single SMS mentioned in the Bill except for one at your Customer Care SErvice No. 121 which is free and, therefore the chagres of Rs. 315/- shown in the Bill towards "SMS Charges" are wrong.

                                  At this juncture I do not comment upon the matter much but to request you to rectify the Bill and credit my A/c for the amount that has been wrongly reflected in excess in the above said Bill.

                                  Just calling me and telling me that the charges are valid IS NOT RESOLVING the issue.

                                  The charges are very much INVALID.

                                  Please read the reasons below CAREFULLY:


                                  1. BEFORE activating 3G, the Customer Care executive clearly said that I would be receiving an SMS once my usage crosses 50% of my allowed 100 MB limit and again when it crosses 80% of my 100 MB limit.

                                  It is only AFTER he said that, that I confirmed that I want to activate the 3G service.


                                  Please note that I did NOT receive any such SMS.

                                  2. The SMS "Your 3G data usage as on 14-03-11 is 0MB.To upgrade your pack, SMS 3G to 121"
                                  In simple English just means that I have used 0 MB as on 14-03-11. It does not say anything whatsoever about me crossing my usage limit.
                                  Ofcourse, in YOUR MIND you can assume that it means I have no free usage anymore, but in PLAIN ENGLISH, it does not mean that.



                                  The main problem here is:


                                  I did not receive the SMSes which were supposed to tell me that 50% and 80% of my usage had been exceeded.

                                  How can I know how much I have used and stop using if you don't inform me?



                                  For the record, please note that my Issue is STILL NOT RESOLVED.

                                  Also for the record, this response has NOT addressed my query suitably.

                                  Your response was completely dictatorial which only furthers my wish to disconnect Airtel services permanently.

                                    the package given by the airtel dish tv comprises of 14 telugu channels including news channels as against 16 channels of tamil. It indicates that more tamilians are living in andhra pradesh than in tamilnadu. It is a shame to the company by providing such paackage. that is the reason why mossst of thepeople are preferring local Cable TV channels due to their large number of telugu channels despite poor technical know how. Even news cchaannels like Sakshi and TV5 are maade as paid channels which are freely available in interneet. If airtel really wants to impove its business they should proivde all telugu chananels in andhra pradesh and respectively other language channels as per state. Hope some sensible person in the department will caatch their mistake and rectify the position without further loss of time and business.

I am using this just for broadband with unlimited plan.. when I went to make the payment I see 1826 intead of 899.. when asked they say its because of the voice calls.. I mean I dont have the telephone instrument at all for this num, and I dont understand how calls are being made from my num... Have spoken to customer care regarding this.. They said they would get back.. but all in vain! worst service provider ever.... Very bad tech support team... Work done is damn slow...would like to disconnect airtel...                                       Airtel tried to install an anti-virus program on my computer but it did not work. Now I have been billed for the failed installation. When I complained, I got a message stating Ref No as 15368720 giving date to get back as 31st Dec 2008 by 11.23.39. This date and time passed. I went to Airtel's Main Office in Egmore, Chennai and complained. Again I got a message stating Ref No as 15475638 giving date to get back as 03 Jan 2009 by 16.03.25. This time also, the date and the time passed. I am still stuck with a bill with items which I have to pay for but which I have not enjoyed.

                                      There is a last date for payment of bill. If I do not pay by the due date, I will have to pay a penalty which alone works out 111% of the bill amount that I am otherwise expected to pay. Airtel having made an abortive attempt at installing their Anti-virus software, after removing Norton, which was on the machine, and then billing the customer and charging him penalty for not paying up on time, is arms twisting of the weak by the mighty.

                                      I tried sending this complaint through Airtel's website - Reach Airtel - but under the Broadband Customer Support, there are circles provided for selection and one of these is to be mandatorily selected if the complaint has to go through. If not done the complaint will not be accepted and the same screen comes back on the monitor. On pointing to "Select your Circle" the drop down list shows only "Select your Circle" and if one tries hitting "Go", it says that you have to " Please Select Circle First" and shortly thereafter you are again looking at the same screen on the monitor.

                                      I would appreciate if some attempt is made by Airtel to try and install the anti-virus software, else at least load back the Norton and Airtel could please adjust the bill for Rs 44.93 and I will pay it.

                                      i am mukund and i m using airtel broadband service from 28/04/2009. i was told by the airtel agent that in first month billing of the brodband service will not be done. but today i got a bill from airtel of Rs1099 for the period 23/04/2009 to 22/05/2009, which is no doubt wrong billing as i was using the service from 28/04/2009 not 23/04/2009.

                                      I'm writing this email to mention the deficiencies of services from Airtel. I logged a request to move my telephone service & Broadband to a different location due to my movement on 30th June. I was informed that moving line will take a week. However Airtel failed to inform me that they dont provide service at my new location and finally called me on 12th July to confirm that they will not be able to provide the service. I was called thrice after 12th July by Airtel and asked me if I can get this service transferred to some of my relative or friend, which I denied. On 15th July, I called Airtel BB helpline, from my mobile for good 20 mins, and I asked them what they are doing with the connection since nothing has been done. Finally on 17th July, I was contacted and informed that they will cancel the line and issue a Final Bill. My request to send the final bill to my new address failed to pass the caller's ear as he bluntly denied that it cannot be done and I've to request for a copy of Final bill be sent to my new address. Now after 1 month of all the agony and harrasment, I'm now receiving calls from Collection Agency from Airtel to pay the bill, bill which has never received by me and which is incorrect despite me logging complaint with customer care. I've two reference number, which I got from Customer Service, which was provided when I logged request to move my service and to complain about deficiency in service. Reference nUmber are : 734141 & 87265424. Please help.

                                      This is to bring into your kind notice that, we have got airtel broadband connection on phone number [protected]. We have been your customer since 2007 and have been regularly using your broadband service.We have been regularly paying all the bills against the usage.For last few months, due to job shift we have been out and not using the internet services of the given number ([protected]).Our parents are at home who do nt have any idea o[censored]sing internet. Recently we have recieved bill of Rs.2300 without any usage in the given period.Not only that, its surprising to recieve even usage details of that period.

                                      We are consistently recieving calls to pay the given amount but we are very sure that we have not used internet , So in that case we cannot pay the bill.I have even launched a complain on your call center ( Complaint number[protected] but no action has been taken and on other side my parents are consistently being harrassed for paying the bill. I am requesting you to kindly look into this matter. Till date we have paid all your bills because we used it but now when we havent used it, we are not going to pay it.

                                      We have been consistently asking to sort out this matter and check it out if it is being misused somewhereelse because in case of that we will have bill burden again in next month for which we are not responsible.If you are not able to control this misusage then kindly disconnect, we do not want to be your customer.

                                      I had an Airtel broadband connection.I decided to surrender and get it disconnected in Aug 2010, as I was not going to be in the country.I called up the customer care, and told them to disconnect.They registered a request and disconnected the service, and said that they would also send someone to collect the equipment.
                                      No one came to collect the equipment.And to my surprise, they claim to have received a request to reconnect the service.They obviously made a billing mistake, and now are refusing to accept the same.
                                      Even worse, they are threatening to take this matter to the court, all when the mistake is completely on their part.
                                      This is their way of extracting Rs.2587/- from a customer due to wrong billing.
                                      Unbelieveable! Airtel is just horrible, and is trying to make me pay, for a fault of theirs'!!

                                      I paid for a year of airtel broadband in advance in October 2010 (Rs. 8924) on my phone line[protected]. Suddenly, this month - January - Airtel sends me a bill for the whole amount of Rs. 8924 to be paid again and then, to top it all, send me a monthly bill which also includes monthly broadband charges of Rs. 899. So after paying them, they are billing me twice over.

                                      I have written to them but only get an automated reply. Their telephone service is as lousy with only automated messages. They say they will get back in 24 hours and after 5 days, still no solution.

                                      What do I do? And why should I pay these fraudulent charges when the amount I have paid them in advance has long since been debited? It's really very frustrating!

                                      Airtel Broadband Services — Wrong Billing, Awful Customer Service

                                      It goes like this:

                                      Since I changed my unlimited plan to a limited one couple of months ago (probably in August,2010), I started facing the below problems:

                                      1. I was getting excessive high broadband bills. Even though my usage remains quite low throughout.
                                      2. I checked the itemized bill and shockingly found out that mass downloads have been shown during odd hours (2 PM/3 PM /4PM etc) when I would be in office and nobody else would be there either.
                                      3. I also keep my DSL line switched off when I am not home.
                                      4. Not only that, in a same day I found that the billed amount is way much higher than the actuals, which I found using a industry leading Network Monitor tool.

                                      This looked very clearly to be either
                                      1. Problem in Billing or
                                      2. Cross connection with other subscribers sharing the same distribution board.

                                      I highlighted the problem to Airtel, which ended up in multiple new complaint numbers, and needless to say: NO SOLUTION.

                                      Being frustrated I stopped paying the Bill (for last two months) and urged them to resolve the issue with immediate action. Nothing was done. Every time only one response would be given that their concerned department has investigated the matter and has found no problem in billing.

                                      Additionally, I sent them all proofs of the actual usage pointing out which all days there are billing mismatches (needless to say, extra billing). Nobody even did care to look at those.

                                      I also have approached Nodal officer and Appellate officer, who again like a copycat replied same set of words. Now these guys are theatening me to take legal actions in case the due is not paid, which is at least Rs. 3000/- extra than what it should be.

                                      Airtel Broadband — Wrong billings

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      This is for the second time in last 06 months wherein i have paid(through net banking) the broadband bill amount but the same has not been updated in the internal records of the Bharti Airtel Broadband services.

                                      As a result of the same , the service provider is continuously disturbing me and my family through phone calls and personal visits of Airtel broadband employees.

                                      I take this particular act by service provider as very insulting , humilating . It is even very insecure for my family members if any body visits my residence any time for collection of payment which i have already paid.

                                      I feel Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor MD and CEO responsible for this act. Mr. MD has failed to manage his responsibilities to smoothly run the operations of the company and to provide satisfactory services to the customers like me.

                                      Broadband — Double Payment

                                      I am having a broadband account with SPEARHEAD (Customer ID 3101) under unlimited plan of 1 Mbps for which I have paid in advance two months rent up to 22 June 2011.

                                      However, their collection agent called on me yesterday and insisted on payment of a further sum of RS 1983/- towards two months rent ignoring our earlier advance payment which is valid till 22 Jun 2011. He wrongly explained to me that the previous advance was already adjusted.

                                      Accordingly, I issued a cheque No 813462 dated 28/5/2011 on HSBC Bank for Rs 1983/- for which collection agent has given a receipt on the bill.

                                      From yesterday night, I am not able to log into the net, and there is no connection available.

                                      This is totally unjustified and an unfair practice, and needs immediate attention.

                                      SPEARHEAD has not yet returned my cheque for Rs 1983 as there is nothing due from me till 22 June 2011 as per my records.
                                      i was interesred about airtel broadband which recently reached in our area as bsnl is not uptu the mark but with such experience of airtel users i will never subscribe them
                                      dear sir i am a coustomer in airtel broadband connection and i disconnect the connection, and airtel are not disconnect my connection .my last bill is 1150 ( feb-mar ) and i change the the address and he give the connection in my new adress and he give comment to provide the shifting vawour 300 by mumbai retainsan and he is not give and he my new address connection are disconnect in 3-4 month and he give permanent bill in my address.So please solved my problam.

                                      AirTel — Wrong Billing for the Broadband

                                      Concern Related to Broadband Billing.

                                      Previously my plan was 2Mbps Unlimited @ 1299.

                                      I have raised a request to change my Plan to 512 Kbps 3GB @ 449 plan on 7th July 2011 as assured by Airtel customer care executive i was not supposed to get the old rental for the month of July and August 2011. The Plan got changed to the requested plan on 21st Aug 2011 in the system because of the system up-gradation as mentioned by the Airtel representative.

                                      I have not been informed about the case that the plan will not get changed to the requested 512 Kbps plan on 8th Aug 2011 because of the technical difficulties. Now when i asked that i have received the same old billing of [ Rs-1433/- + Rs-1433/-] ]for the two months [ July 2011 and Aug 2011 ] then i am made aware that because of the technical difficulties the plan did not got changed to the 512 Kbps plan on 8th Aug 2011.

                                      Why i am held responsible to pay the bill for these two months because of the technical difficulties from Airtel end ,as i requested to change the plan on 7th July 2011. Please initiate a waiver of the bill generated for July 2011 and Aug 2011.

                                      I am associated with Airtel since Jan 2000. I feel this is not the correct way to handle loyal customer.

                                      Please revert ASAP, i do not want this to be escalated further.

                                      We have applied for the net connection in November 1st week and have been told that it will be installed the next day.We have also paid INR 1000 cash to the airtel representative.But no one turned up for installation for next 10 days.Then we told Airtel customer care to get the net installed in 1st week of December since we are travelling out of station.Only on December 6th the airtel representative came and installed the net.We have been told that for 1st month we will have to make the payment only for the service charge as we have made the advance payment .But to our surprize we have recieved the invoice and they have also added that 1K Rs. to thatWhen we complaind about wrong billing firstly they said they do not have in records that we have made the payment of INR 1K.When we have given them all the proofs they said they will get back to us.Even after repetative emails no one turned up.Out of a sudden,someone called up and said that they have refunded the amount by cheque.We have no clue which cheque they are talking about.In their records they have marked the case as resolved as they have given us the refund cheque.When I told their representative we have not recieved any cheque he said it could have been submitted to your account.Which account they have subvmitted when we have not shared any account no.And above all that they are disconnected our net connection because of non payment of bill.Why should we face this when we have already made they payment.We are ready to pay the service charge but why the double payment.

                                      Hope to get some resolution of this.
                                      Airtel Chennai Anna nagar 2nd main road(branch) are not giving reciepts for the amount paid. As a result they are asking again to pay the amount. When questioned they say that their rules does not permit to give reciepts for cash payments. This kind of system prevails no where in India. Also this gives room for embezzlement in the form of wrong billing and excess billing. Kindly look into the matter as i had been a victim of it and the matter had not benn solved as yet with the Airtel. Isn&#039;t this a kind of robbery on the part of Airtel.
