[Resolved] BookMyShow — tickets not booked, money debited. | |||
On September 15th 2012, we tried booking three movie tickets through bookmyshow for the movie Burfi in Everest Theatre, Bangalore. The tickets weren't booked but the money got debited from my account. Even after several calls to the customer care and dropping mails, the issue hasn't been resolved. It is sheer negligence on the part of bookmyshow and an absolute displeasure to follow up on a case where the mistake is not even our's. I am also forwarding a e-mail alert from my bank for the amount debited. I am also not going to recommend bookmyshow to anyone in future. The first time also happens to be the last time and the experience has been more than horrible. The executive at the customer care was thoroughly unprofessional and impatient. They keep telling me the money will be credited in 15 days but I guess bookmyshow doesn't follow a universal calender. I have decided to take this up and sue them for this inconvenience. A big scam! I had booked four tickets for on 7th may2011, 12.30 am show via book my show. The amount has been withdrawn from my account. but i did not receive any confirmation of the transaction, neither were the tickets booked. The amount has been withdrawn from my account. but i did not receive any confirmation of the transaction, neither were the tickets booked. I would like to file a complaint against the same and want my money to be reimbursed.
