I have booked movie tickets through the online portal www.bookmyshow.com, to my surprise the transaction, was failure and asked me to try again, i tried again and it was a failure again, so i dropped the idea of booking the tickets further. I was completely surprised and shocked to see that my bank account was charged for the cancelled transaction, it is common in online transactions, I thought the money will be automatically credited back to my bank account, even after a week it was not credited, i contacted the customer care of bookmyshow.com and they asked me to send an email with the details. I did as directed by the customer care person. It has been almost 2 months and i have not received the refund money till date.
Note: I have attached the last 2 months bank statement for your reference.

There were 2 transactions attempted wherein 1 has been a successful against the booking ID: DTSG[protected] and another has been an unsuccessful. However, the booking confirmation email/sms for the above mentioned successful booking id was sent across to you. Also as per your concern of having received an error notification email, we would like to inform you that the system does send email/sms and notifies in case of having any issues at that point of time. Similarly, in your case the system had sent an email notifying the error for your initial unsuccessful transaction attempt dated: 6 Aug 2011 6:45 PM.
