I am sorry to say but i have made a mistake by booking movie ticket through Bookmyshow. I thought Bookmyshow has made it convenient to book movie tickets for people. But my experience was very bad with Bookmyshow.
I booked two tickets of movie "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" @ DT Star Mall: Sector 30, National Capital Region, Gurgaon on 6th Aug,2011.
I got the confirmation message on my number ([protected]) with following details :
Booking ID : DTSG[protected]
Seats: Gold S10, S11
DT Star mall, Sector 30 (Screen 2) @ 10.40 pm

But after a few minutes, i got another message from Bookmyshow as below:
We are sorry that your payment for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara at DT Star Mall: Sector 30 ( Screen 2) failed. Pls try again later or call 39895050 to book your tickets.

I dialed the above mentioned number but got no response.
I relied on BOOKMYSHOW and didn't go for movie after your sorry message.
But when I checked my account, the payment of Rs 333.10 was debited from my account for BOOKMYSHOW.
I waited for few days that I will get refund from your side but i am sorry to say BOOK MY SHOW cheated me.

I am not bothered about the payment but what about the trust i had with BOOKMYSHOW.
You have made a breach of my trust and i am very disheartened.

There were 2 transactions attempted wherein 1 has been a successful against the booking ID: DTSG[protected] and another has been an unsuccessful. However, the booking confirmation email/sms for the above mentioned successful booking id was sent across to you. Also as per your concern of having received an error notification email, we would like to inform you that the system does send email/sms and notifies in case of having any issues at that point of time. Similarly, in your case the system had sent an email notifying the error for your initial unsuccessful transaction attempt dated: 6 Aug 2011 6:45 PM. Our customer care team has got in touch with you regarding the query and explained to you in detail. Hope your query is answered to your satisfaction.

    Hi,
    This is with regards to the most pathetic customer service experience I received ttoday from the call center of Bookmy show.com.The agent's name was Shruti Devadiga.
    I had called them regarding a movie booking the charge for which was debited from my card however, the transaction had failed.
    My 1st call- Agent Shruti Devadiga.....My husband spoke to her and advice her of the situation and she hsked us to try the transaction again after 30 mins..
    My 2nd call- (The worst experience) Agent Shruti Devadiga. again...Afeter following all the instructions given by Shruti ..we wanted to speak to her superviosr to register a complain,since I was unable to avail an offer..Shruti bluntly refused stating that her supervisor was busy.What took us by surprise was that she did not even place me on hold ..and just refused..I asked her more than 5 times but got the same reply...she wa very adamant and said her supervisor would share the same info hence she was not able to transfer the call..I ensured that i stayed online for more than 30 mins and this agent was so adamant that she just did not want me to speak to her supervisor..Is this the customer service to be received from a call center..she was extremely rude ...to add to that she disconnected the call leaving my query unresolved.
    I am not concerned about the charge on my account..but the service that I received today was horrible....
    The calls recorded should be heard...and I am sure you will understand what an experience I had ..

      Money deducted but tickets not received
      This is my worst experience with Book My Show Web site on sunday[protected]. I haveadye booked tickets for Esquare ready movie for june 5th. My 333 rupees money was deducted from my bank account, but no confirmation about the tickets were received.

      I am trying to call them on the number[protected]their contact number), but that number is not working. I have send an email to their customer support, but did not received any reply.

      I want my money back. I want to legally proceed against them for the inconvenience caused to me.

      I have just booked two Tickets of "3 " for 30th December, on Movie Time, Raja Garden.Rs 300 has been deducted from my ICICI bank Account but I have not received any ticket neither in my mail nor my cell phone.plz tell me what should I do get my money back.

        I have booked 2 tickets for movie "Harry potter and the deathly hallows:P2(HIN)(U/A)" on 16th July around 10:19 am for 3:00 pm in the G3S Cinema:Rohini (AUDi 1), National Cpatial Region, Dlehi through PNB net banking, after completion of transaction I have received the ticket confirmation on my phone.         Never book tickets from BOOKMYSHOW this is no.1 Fraud company.
        1.They collect money for home dilevary but they not dispatching any tickets.
        2.When u call for ticket states they will say u will gate tickets on XYZ DATE.
        3.No.1 poor customer care when u inquire about tickets on XYZ DATE they will say there is no service area u can collect from counter.
        In this process u will loose ur mobile balance for contacting customer care but problem is not resolve.

        This is happened with me i lost more than 200 rupees for contacting customer care, but still i am waiting for tickets.

        FRAUDDDDDDDDDD company BOOKMYSHOW...

          I have booked 2 tickets on 01-July-11 of morning show of 03-July-11 at 11 am for Delhi Belly at Wave (Ghaziabad) and after done my credit card details its take long time and not received any details till date but when I check my credit card details there is the deduction of Rs.182/-.

          I have not received any message or mail from book my show side then how they deduct the amount from my bank i don't know.

          Please help to refund

          I have booked 2 tickets on 29-OCT-11 of evening show of 30-OCT-11 at 6.25 pm for chennai fame national.arcot raod, virugambakkam (Chennai) and after done my net banking details its take long time and not received any details till date but when I check my net banking details there is the deduction of Rs.284/-.

          I have not received any message or mail from book my show side then how they deduct the amount from my bank i don't know.

          Please help to refund

            I have booked 3 tickets for movie "Delhi Belly" on 1st july 2011 around 11am for 10 pm show for the same date at MOVIE TIME through SBI net banking, after completion of transaction i.e. debiting the amount, it showed some technicaI error and i didn't received any ticket confirmation on my mail and phone. When i checked my bank statement, amount of rs 589 was deducted and i didnt get my tickets .i tried contacting them immediately number of times but all in vain....i mailed them too but i did not get any response till 2nd of july. now they have replied to my mail after 12 hrs of show telling that my tickets were booked..
            i have records of my n their mails...
            please solve my problem....

            I have booked 2 tickets for movie Tanu weds Manu returns on 21st June 2015 around 2pm for 6:35p.m for the same date through state bank of Patiala net banking but I didn't get my tickets no confirmation recieved on email and ph no but payment of tickets already deducted from my account.               Hi All,

              Booked ticket today morning (1 Jul 2011) for Sunday's show from book my show. Money from my account got deducted but the ticket were not received. I tried calling their cosumer number, but in vain. Now I see that there are various complaints about the same. Booked the ticket using ICICI netbanking.

              Please suggest what to do in this case? Can I file a police complaint somewhere in such case ?

                  Dear Sir / Madam,

                  This is with reference to the Partial Non-Delivery of the IPL Merchandise ordered by me via Bookmyshow.com.

                  I have placed the order online on Bookmyshow.com on the 7th of March 2011. at 16:50 p.m.

                  The total value of purchase is Rs. 845.00/-. The Bookmyshow.com Invoice no. is: INV[protected].

                  The list of things ordered by me were:

                  1) Mumbai Indians Large Flag with plastic rod for Sale 2x3 feet.
                  2) Mumbai Indians Wrist Band.
                  3) Mumbai Indians Mouse Pad.
                  4) Mumbai Indians Plastic Bugle.
                  5) Mumbai Indians Cushion.
                  6) Mumbai Indians Keychain Wristband.

                  I have recived only 4 Items out of the 6 ordered and that too in two seperate deliverys.

                  I had to initially write an email to the helpdesk as my order staus was even not visible after booking, then secondly i wrote to them about the delivery of the merchandise where i was told that the vendor has not delivered the good to the company and hence they were not able to send me the same and after which i got the first set of merchandise as stated by me below.

                  In the first delivery the Plastic Bugle, Wrist Band and the Wrist Band key chain were delivered but after a delay of 1 full week where in the site states that the goods purchased will be delivered within a week.

                  Second time I again wrote a email asking for the delivery of the rest of the merchandise where in after 1 week again just the Cushion was delivered.

                  Again I called the helpdesk to ask for my remaining two items the Flag and the Mouse pad, some Mr. Neilson who claims to be the senior manager told me he will see that I will receive my remaining order by the week of 9th May 2011.

                  As of now I have not received the same. As you see here I ahve been waiting for over 1 month and on the 7th of June 2011 it will be 2 months since i have ordered my products.

                  Kindly help me in getting my remaining merchandise at the earliest.

                  Also requesting you to take necessary action against the defaulters.

                    I had bought a seasonal pass for IPL tickets of Kings XI punjab , My ID IPPJ[protected] and IPPJ[protected]
                    There they promise to give a kings XI t-shirt free with seasonal pass but i got a Kings XI t-shirt which is locally made from Ludhiana. I had to ask you that bookmyshow company is providing fake or local made t-shirts free or its something else going on. Local made T-shirts are made by AGGARWAL MILTARY STORE , BENJAMIN ROAD Ludhiana.
                    I think they must provide some good branded T-shirts.

                      I have booked movie tickets through the online portal www.bookmyshow.com, to my surprise the transaction, was failure and asked me to try again, i tried again and it was a failure again, so i dropped the idea of booking the tickets further. I was completely surprised and shocked to see that my bank account was charged for the cancelled transaction, it is common in online transactions, I thought the money will be automatically credited back...

                      Hi, I booked 5 tickets through bookmyticket.com and through out the booking process they were showing the details of the movie I selected. I selected the seats and made the payment. Once the payment was made, the site send a confirmation for another movie. We called up the customer care and told them that there is a system error and we got another movie booked, but they said they cannot refund the money, neither are they ready to change the booking to the movie I selected. I ended up paying money for a movie I dont want to watch and hence lost the money

                        On 7th Jan, I booked the show for No one killed Jessica at around 1:30 PM for 8th Jan 2010. There was no sms/ email from the website and the screen displayed the message of booking with no details which gave a clear idea that the function has not been performed. I again booked the ticket at 5:30 which was delivered successfully. Now, Book My show is charging for both the transaction. Till today I have not received any message from them regarding the booking done at 1:30 pm. Please help me as they are not ready to accept their fault and refund my money.

                            As per my personal experience It takes atleast 2 days for the refund.
                            Have patience and check again tomorrow.
                            I checked my account regularly, but still they have not refund the amount..

                            Book My Show — CUSTOMER SUPPORT

                            ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT EXPERIENCE WAITED FOR 20 MINUTES LOST 30RS CURRENCY AND CALL DISCONNECTED. THEN EVEN TRIED ONLINE CUSTOMER SUPPORT, THAT IS EVEN WORST NONE RESPONDED.

                              25 tickets were booked for a show at the Comedy Store. The show was cancelled, but 5 chase calls to the site has yeilded one excuse after the other (including "connectivity problems" since the last week, which is quite difficult to digest for an online booking portal).

                              They have been sitting on my money for almost 3-4 weeks now, and are simply not refunding to my Credit Card account. Now, I will have to shell out the money to the Credit card bank from my pocket (they really wouldnt care about bookmyshow's problems), and then sit on a credit balance on the card that I will have to forcible spend in the future.

                              This is bordering on fraudulent behaviour.

                                My name is anand singh, my cell number is +91-[protected].

                                I booked 5 ticket for tamil version of robot (Endhiran) for 2nd of october using bookmyshow portal. Show timing was 5:45 pm, but on 2nd of october in the morning i got a call from book my show that they are not going to show tamil version. Would you like to see hindi version, then i told no kindly refund my money. Then the told that you will get your money in 4 to 5 working days. I used citi bank credit card to book ticket.

                                But today is 21oct money was not credited in my account. I called 4 times in customer care every time i got answer “sir you money will be credited in your account very soon”.

                                And i sent a mail 5 to 6 times on their help desk.. But i didnt get any reply from there.

                                Ther are running bull thing.

                                Kinldy help me out to get my refund money.

                                I want to lodge the fraud case against bookmyshow. From where i can log the case.. Because they very nonsense. Their help desk is nothing but of.

                                  I had booked for AUS v/s IND 2nd test cricket match which will be playing in Bangalore on Sunday. I booked the tickets in bookmyshow.com. But when I went to collect the tickets at the counter. The people at the counters were saying its been collected by someone. But I never collected it.They could not trace who collected it. And without verifying credit card they had given to someone. And they were least bothered to answer me. I am still wonder how can they give to someone? And they don't have patience to answer me. I lost my money and I was looking forward to watch the match,but now all tickets were sold out.It was very sad that they are very irresponsible and they have worst system in place which they are not able to trace the things in the system

                                    Hi,

                                    On friday 10th sep 2010, I booked 2 tickets for 11th sep We R family at Movie Time Rajouri Garden 2.10 pm show from book my show. I got the confirmation email and sms at that time. After reaching the ticket counter I showed the ticket confirmation message for tickets. The counter boy gave me 2 tickets of Dabang. When I asked him that my booking is for We R family but he replied shows timings has been changed on 10th September and there might be some disconnect. I escalated this issue to the Movietime manager but he was not bothered and he offered me 4.45 show in replacement. I asked him to give my money back but he refused.

                                    I am not at all happy rather you can say disappointed. I neither watched We R family nor Dabang. I will never ever book my ticket from book my show and I will not watch any movie in Movietime. I will never recommend any of my friend to book tickets from your site.I simply want my money back or rather I will escalate this issue. I will keep on doing that untill this case gets resolved.

                                    Movietime Cinema - Rajouri Garden(in West Gate Mall )

                                    I Went to Movietime Cinema( waste of time & money, poor service ) for a 3D movie ... Guys don't make this mistake again ...

                                    Went for - Harry Potter 3D

                                    Show timings - 7th August, 2011 -> 5:50 pm show



                                    They don't believe in providing Service to the customers ... they kept 50 rs [COLOR=#009900 !important]deposit for every 3D glasses ... BUT


                                    1.The movie started But we didn't get any 3D glasses.
                                    2.The Movietime employee came to [COLOR=#009900 !important]provide[/COLOR] these glasses after 15 minutes fromthe time movie started.
                                    3. Not only this ... they came with some limited no. of glasses compared to the total no. of people came to [COLOR=#009900 !important]watch the movie[/COLOR] .
                                    4. Half of the 3D glasses were broken (no side handles )...
                                    5. Somehow.. i got the 3D glasses after 30 minutes from the time movie started .
                                    6. BUT when i tried them .. they were not upto the mark ... 3D glasses were blur... Huge Scratches on the Glasses... i wan really disappointed by this time from the service i am getting...
                                    7. I went and shouted at the staff and asked them to call their manager ... The reply i got was ..." Sir, there is no point of talking...nothing will happen" ...
                                    8. You can expect what kind of customer service they are providing ...
                                    9. Later, one of the employee told me to watch [COLOR=#009900 !important]the movies[/COLOR] and he will send the manager to my seat ... He provided me the Disposable 3D glasses...
                                    10. Till interval, no one came... I asked for the manager again. But the reply i got was the same " he will come to your seat in some time " [/COLOR]11. Movie finished ... no one came ... I went to the ticket counter on the ground floor ... there i got the reply that the manager sits on 4th floor and u go to 4th floor ..I asked them to make a call to the manager and i want to take to the manager [COLOR=#009900 !important]on the Phone .. They clearly said no .. and told me nothing can be done here... [/COLOR]



                                    There were more the 50 people who said the quality of the Glasses were poor ...

                                    All People in the hall get the Glasses after 15 - 30 minutes from the time movie started ...

                                    Manager was not available to solve the issue ...

                                    I will Strongly recommend you people to avoid going to Movietime Cinema ...

                                    I will never go to any Movietime Cinema ever...

                                    This is regarding the cinema hall named Movietime Raja Garden (Delhi). We went there on 31st Oct 2015 for watching the movie 'Pyar ka punchnama 2' at 2:55 PM. The movie is rated at 'A' (Adult) category but:

                                    1) No id proof was asked from any of the visitors who were there for watching the movie.
                                    2) Children ranging from all ages (5 to 15 years) were present in Audi 1 for this 'A' category movie. They also created lots of nuisance during the show.
                                    3) All Vulgar words were replaced by 'beep' sound in the movie. Don't know why it was done since it is an adult movie.

                                    The Movietime management does this to sell more tickets of their shows in the market. However this is not the case with other cinema halls in delhi. And hence, it was a bad experience while watching the movie. It should be highlighted to the concerned authorities in order to take action and resolve.

                                      The website www.bookmyshow.com has been promoting two offers for citibank customer which is promoted on the frontpage of the website are
                                      Citi Cash Rewards Credit Card Offer (http://in.bookmyshow.com/static/offertc-citicredit.bms) and Citibank The Second is Free (http://in.bookmyshow.com/static/offertc-citi-bogo/). i tried to redeem this offer but got an error message, i called up customer care and was inform the Citi Cash Rewards Credit Card Offer is valid for customer have credit card number only starting with 524133 and the Citibank The Second is Free should have starting as 532662. i was bit confused so i checked the term and conditions on the same website which does not mention any of the criteria to redeem this offer.
                                      Its misleading promotion by book myshow which created inconvenience for me and my family before going for movie.

                                      I got the same error message when i tried. But later realized from the bank that this is offer valid only on MASTERCARD and not MAESTRO. Please call the bank for a issuance of Mastercard. Bookmyshow has a collaboration with Citi Mastercard and not Maestro.
