Myself P Saha and I am lecturer in a Govt Unversity.
After 6 months of waiting I get the connection of broadband service (Phone no. [protected]) this month from my local telephone exchange (Nimta Telephone exchange). They connect it and then I get the ID, password also, but unfortunately till now the internet line is not working. When they connected the line, modem etc, they charge extra money etc for better service, but after that nobody come to see the matter. I also dont know what is the use of the helpline no, and the exchange phone number given in the list when this are either useless or nobody entertain the call. Whenever we try to contact the helpline no. given in the list, nobody receive the call. I tried again and again, but no result. One day they recieve it ans tell to call after 2 hrs, but after that nobody receive the call. After trying 2 days, they have received the call they told to contact local exchange, and local exchange told to contact to kmain exchange evert time. But they dont have any time to verify the matter of connection problem and to help us. Rather they misbehave with us whenever we try to call to main exchange. Is this is the service of BSNL and we have to pay monthly subscription of this useless type of service?

say shops where a customer is supposed to be treated as god.Apparently customers are treated as intruders here in Bangalore.I had a similar experience with BSNL .Can you imagine they asked me submit an application for a broadband connection.I felt as if i am applying for a ration card.Such an unprofessional attitude!
I think such a center should be closed down.
Can anyone help me to contact these bsnl people..
It is a device with which one could avail very high speed, provided BSNL is willing. They cannot claim that their technology is outdated now.
I am sure they can give uninterrupted & trouble free service satisfactory service even in 'Kerala' the land of dogs.
Can someone give the customer care's number so that I can just call them up. I think I should discontinue this very soon.
BSNL — Lack of respect to customer need
I have been struggling to get decent support for the DSL connection from BSNL in Bangalore but with no luck (one of the complaints is[protected]. It's been 2 weeks now since I lost the connectivity. I call the support number every day. When the technician comes on line he asks me the standard questions and then puts me on hold. They never come back after that most likely. If they come back, they have no solution. More often than not they tell me there's a temporary problem in the area I live in without making any attempts to troubleshoot.Is there any way I can actually goto the call center and give them a piece of my mind? If not atleast give them coaching on customer support like what they do at Pizza hut!!!
I have been using the EVDO since almost one month.I am really frustrated using this EVDO service. EVDO service never works properly except one or 2 days of week. When this service works in 2 two days, it is taking lots of time to render webpage. I have complained about it. but always get answer we have problem in server. Really they are charing more than Rs.800.Its really costly option and not worth it.
Unfortunate but truth is I am unable to connect now.. plz suggest if anyone knows anything about my problem! :-|

I also fall under the same issue with BSNL EVDO service. I took this connection in February 2008. Right after a week, it started showing issues. I used to get disconnected once in 3-5 minutes (but the connection indication shows active) - when we get no display of pages, I needed to reconnect. This goes on continuously... And speed goes beyond normal dial-up. I too have complained with many people in BSNL.. nobody is interested to look into the complaints.. as they are so stupid to think that they get their salary whatever they do to their customers.. forgetting the fact that it is us, the customers who help to pay their salary.. their daily bread... its a good company with good network and all their investments have recovered... now no cost only revenue... if this goes like this.. all these stupid employees of BSNL will get laid off very soon... then they will realise the importance of SERVICE !!!
So I do not think they are going to resolve this for you... sorry to say that you too fell a victim of EVDO, where BSNL has no technical know-how and each and every time.. people from China are required to attend the complaints..
I can say i was lucky and things got going from the day one. I never got the speed to 2 mbps. But still i got the speed of 512 KBps. The connection was stable (around 4-5 hrs).
But i observed one issue at times. The Internet won't work even when you are connected and with good signals (4 bars). Then i realised that If i connect the VPN (my office) then internet starts working. So it was more of the DNS server issue at BSNL.
Any one interested to Purchase in Bhopal can go ahead . I have used it in Nehru Nagar area and Arera colony / Shahpura Area.
I am still looking for the feedback of the people using the EVDO card in Pune?
it is giving average 150 kbps downloading speed
how I will get it I have gone to bsnl office they say datacard is
not there from 2month they are not giving it so what to do?
Initial days when i took it on rent the speed was as good as 500 kbps at times..
now the speed is 20 bytes to 5 kbps...
I am gonna bang the bsnl people's picchwada tomorrow.

I have been using the EVDO since last 2 weeks.I am not satisfied with the service. It was informed that the speed will be up to 2MBPS, but I am getting speed max. up to 300kbps and also the server is disrupted very frequently. Its really costly option and not worth it. So I am confused.
Because in India you need to fight for your right.

the bsnl evdo card is really dam very very slow . it could not even open the google page once. very poor. most of the site it could not open. and to open a site it takes long long time. it is very bad to use net through this bsnl data card. this is use less.

i have been using the evdo since 2 feb 2008 and i am getting about 100kb/s avg speed .
i thing evdo is the only which give u such great internet experiance in 550/- rs.
i was impressed buy ur product ev-do 2mbps internet service. and i purchased but. in my city Hyderabad i am living at k.p.h.b colony main road. i am not getting evdo signal i am getting 1x service. i was contacted your office number 2001555. they say it will come near the tower and u go and use their. ididnot expect this type of answer in my life with out providing any servise why uare selling this product ? i got signal for 4days in entire month .what should i do ? my evdo number is [protected] and my name is kumar and my contact number is [protected]

We had a BSNL office Near- by. In where the concerned persion doesn’t even know that whether Data cards had started distributing or not and are more kin to make me understand the facilities of “LAN”.
I found a Franchisee of BSNL whose Franchisee Code is: WBFA9,
A person called AKD, who called himself as the propitor of the franchisee has taken Rs: 3188 from me and given me a photo-copy of the “registration card”.

dude nic and evdo are both different nic have speed upto 153 kbps and evdo have upto 2.4 mbps
price is also different ...2800 and 3500 rsssssss...currently i am using bsnl dataone in kolkata whenver climate change it start blinking especially when it rain here ...i gonna take bsnl evdo ...tommorrow
