BSNL, govt sponsored Broadband services are over rated and underserviced. The extremely slow speed o[censored]ploading and downloading is unacceptable. help and complaint lines to BSNL offices either do not answer calls or cut you off after a brief while.
No reall attention to complaints.

Are they TOO BIG, too important to address customers needs and complaints?

Earlier they blamed the broken under sea cables for the slow traffic. Now they have only themselves to blame. But who cares?

net is too slow.. so many times i have complined.. but still no response. service is not good...
i am having the same problem.
i signed up for the 750 plan.
its supposed to give me 256kbps. or atleast 200kbps.
but no i am gettin a very low speed of 26-30kbps.
i have never seen the speed go above 36kbps.
my broadband connection is very slow, sometimes i have to pay for rentals even Broadband is out of order, local authority do not pay attention.
I think Siliguri Broadband service is most hopeless service I have everseen than in India's other cities like Allahabad, Bangalore Delhi etc.
MY BSNL BROADBAND IS TOO SLOW NOWADAYS AND SOME TIMES THE WEBSITES ARE NOT OPENING TOO. SO PLEASE HELP ME TO GET RID FROM THIS PROBLEM

    I AM USING WB BSNL GPRS FACILITY IN MY MOBILE. BUT THE GPRS FACILITY NOT WORKING DURING 5 PM TO 10 PM. I PAY MONTHLY RENTAL 199+ TAX WHETHER I USE IT OR NOT. MY CONNECTION FROM COOCH BEHAR TELECOM DIST OF WEST BENGAL.

I got my complain registered immediately with customer care vide no.3626277.Moreover, 24 hrs elapsed but my complain has not yet been registered.
    How could I have my depleted balance back.

    i agree with u, the gprs service of bsnl is the worst, its no use, every thing get stuck in the middle of opening any page.i also got my connection from coochbehar. I think these guys r the worst in service.

    i have bsnl prepaid general connections.i have activated gprs on my moblile but its not working whenever i am trying to connect internet through data cable of mobile (samsung metro s-3500) on my pc, i am getting the error msgs on my computer.so, talked to customer care and they give complain no-5160864.but till date it's not solved or thay even called me to solve my problem.my region is krishnagar/nabadwip telecom circle, wb.

    BSNL — NOT PROVIDE PROPER GPRS SERVICE

    I am paying 175 Rs. per month for GPRS service on my cell phone (NOKIA E63).from the 1 month before BSNL not provide proper GPRS service.(like 20 day in month only provide).also I complain my problem but there is no reply from BSNL side. before 3 days i was call so many time but no one listen properly and disconnect my call.

    GPRS proplem which was still not solved by BSNL, I was using prepaid connection and GPRS with 98Rs voucher which was recharged on 09Aug2010. It was working up to 26Aug2010. Suddenly error 734 reported at my PC. Complaint was given to cutomer care some of solution were given, but problem was not solved .After 4 -5 days one customer executive told that there no GPRS facility was activated and suggested to send the message. Message was sent, In revert message error was reported " There is a error to retrieving your data. we regret for your inconvenience." from that day I am making call to customercare and sending the messages gprspre to 53733, same message reverting, but solution is ... My packege has also expired without proper use ( used only 15 Days).

    I have two bsnl kolkatta sims one is very slow in gprs speed max 20 kbps.but another goes around 300kbps.i want to use the first sim due to some reasons so please help me to solve the problem.if think any prob in the sim what to do??? [protected]@gmail.com
    i have bsnl student sim [protected].some time its good.i put the sim into the micromax modem, then connect to the internet.but sometime its gives horrible speed.even the home page(google) page is not open, specially during the evening & afternoon time, i m from Burdwan.most of the time i had lunched complain, but they could't took seriously...


    i think bsnl officer should take care of that.

      Sir,

      I requested a new land line connectionon on 29/01/08 . Till now I have not got the connection, staying in Vadapalni. Couple of times I met the corresponding officer in the Kodambakkam exchange. But poor response from the officer and it is of no use. No proper answer from them. I am afraid till how many days it will take to get the connection. But in other places people get the connection quickly.

      I am very much disappointed with this.

      BSNL — delay in connecting the connection

      Of late i am frequently facing problem with my broadband connction by way of getting enormous delay in getting connected whenever i login and also after logging in very frequently connection goes off.at very important moments i find lot of difficulties on account of this.any action taken by the authorities is not longlasting.even while typing this complaint same is the experience
      v.ranga rao.

      BSNL Broadband — Delay in New Broadband Connection

      I applied for a New Telephone connection along with Broadband services with BSNL.

      Somehow I managed to get them the New Telephone connection on 20 Oct 2008. But they are yet to supply the Broadband service despite their promise that broadband service will be given within 2 to 3 working days.

      I have applied for BSNL Broadband services along with the telephone 2 months back. Even i got a call from BSNL Office stating my work order and Telephone no. After few days BSNL People come and checked the location. Afterwards they never said anything to me. Rest of my friends who applied with me got the connections long back.

      broadband internet — delay in installation

      I reside in secretariat colony, Manikonda, rajendranagar mandal, Hyderabad and have BSNL landline connection no:[protected] which comes under Narsinghi sub exchange, Shamshabad main exchange. I have applied for broadband internet connection and paid lumpsum money of Rs.1040/- towards purchase of ADLS modem on[protected]. I was told that the connection will be given in 4 days. I have contacted the junior Engineer of Narsinghi sub exchange many times for installation of the above. every time he says that he will be sending the persons the same day. However he is not sending anybody for giving the internet connection. Almost one month is over still he is not providing the connection. Kindly take necessary action so that I get internet connection.

      I had applied for bsnl broadband and got it set up at my home on 30-06-09. According to rule my broadband has to be activated by 72 hours of setup, but its been 5 days and the same is still pending. I tried contacting the regional SDOP for the same who claim that they have forwarded by request to the concerned department. Kindly do the needful.

      I have a broadband start up 250 rs plan. I have requested to change my plan to home 750 on june 30 2009. when i enquire about it they say they have done it but it has not updated in their server. Every time i call they say it will be done in 2 0r 3 days. Please help me

      I submitted an application on 25/7/2009 at BSNL exchange to issue me broadband connection on my basic landline no.[protected] at Hanumangarh Junction. But still on today I've not got my user id and password i.e. no broadband services on my phone. Kindly Help me as it is necessary for me.

        My broadband plan is "bsnl home 500 C" As per plan

        1 . Night Unlimited[protected] Hrs) Available . But Usage calculate free MB also. So that ,One cannot find proper usage.

        2. If Internet start 7.00 AM stops 9.00 AM Usage calculate total MB. As per plan usage must show 7.00 to 8.00 AM and 8.00 TO 9.00 AM diffrent. BSNL authoriy give nonsence reply that I had to restart modem at 8.00 AM.

        Sir i am not able to view my broadband usage since last 3 to 4 days.What should i do?please send answer on my mail id.

          Sir,
          I got user ID during installation from bsnl persons that is different from collected from regisdster of BSNL Office.

          the installation is made in such a way that no passward and login name were asked for starting service in the begining of firrst two days after the service is not available to me.

          I attended the counselling of BSNL office (at Junagadh-362001) they demostrate to install network and login in network as well as portal every where passward is must and this is only proper way to stop others uses
          I request my service should resume as early as possible and proper method of installation

            Hi,
            I've registered with BSNL's Do not call Registry long back (sept 07) for my cell one postpaid connection. However, there's no way to stop unsolicited calls apart from scaring them away.
            Worst case is for SMS usually from 58888, TOTAL Mall etc for which you can't obviously call back and scare them away.
            When I spoke with BSNL's customer care to complain, they just replied rudely and told me to register. There's no easy way to get rid of these callers by complaining.

            Any help/ideas?

            Regrating to say that my outgoing call is not working since eleven days. i have complaint many times. Customer care registerd complain and revert that u r problem has been resolved but till now it is not done. Now I am roaming, it is not possible to contect customer care everytimes. I will be out of state at least one months more. therefore it is very problematic to connect my office every time. Please, it is my hearty request to solve my problem as as possible. If not possibel just call me i will change my service operator. Really i am fedup with your response.

            i have problem with paid sms jokes.i activated joke sms by sending sms "sub joke" at 5888 and recieved sms is "thanks 4 using Indiatimes subscription services.your total cost is Rs 1".
            by receving this sms Rs 1 is cut from my mobile balance, but after some i got 20 repeated sms 20Rs cut .

              I am living in seethamadhara,visakhapatnam. i have applied BSNL Dataone Broadband 1month back, also i am using bsnl land line, at the time of my application they told me that the connection would be given in 3 days,i go and ask every week but they are telling some reason. i don't know why are they working like this. i think if we can put some dead bodies they will do that work..

              I am living in gummidi poondi, i have applied BSNL Dataone Broadband before 6 months, also i am using bsnl land line, i go and ask every week but they are telling some stupid reason. i don't know why are working like this. i think if we can put some bead body it will do that work.

              BSNL ( DataOne Broadband) — Internet Connection Delay

              I have got modem installed on 28th August 2007, but till date i havent got internet connection.
              When enquired about the same, I am not getting proper answers from BSNL officers.
              I had applied for Broadband connection before 7 months, and still waiting for the same.
              I have properly paying the bills for the telephone connection but I dont know what problem they have in giving service.
              I would like to name those - one is Mr. Varunseand other is Mr. Kamble both are from Nasik, Upnagar Division.
              Very soon i will filing a complaint against both of them regarding the same.
              I lost near about 50,000/- Rs business because of their stupidity.

              In short BSNL sucks...!!!

              I don't what happened to BSNL employees are they blind, Till now I pay 800-900/- for home250 (2mths),but for the month of Feb. & March bill came of Rs 2500/-. I don't know how since I only use internet connection within limit and from past few days my phone is also dead.

              I am having BSNL Broadband connection at my residence. There is no provision to track the broad-band usage. Incidentally, my usage was within the broadband rental (Rs.250/month). But for the month of Feb-08, I find broadband usage chargge of Rs.568/- which is highly unjustifiable as there much lesser usage compared to previous month. There is no proper response from BSNL and nobody is owning the responsibility.

              Broadband Connection — Delay in getting the Internet Connection.

              I have applied for a BSNL Broadband (750 unlimited Package) on 6-May-2008. BSNL advertisements are staking tall claims that within a week or two broadband connections will be given.But it seems like BSNL servers like typical Gov services provider, apply and forget it. Are we still a part o[censored]nder developed country, "Apply and wait for Years to get a connection?" Just stop chaeting public the way you service providers are doing.
              You are lucky boss you are not getting broadband. You cannt imagine the frustation when you have broadband paying for it and not getting connection. you are no where near frustated at the moment. It is still time go for something else. Beleive me a dialup of any company is better than BSNL. nobody will listen to your complain they are all same from top to bottom in BSNL. dont waste your time. Hope you can smell the frustation I am having by using BSNL
              How can i configured my mail with Out Look Express.
              It is realy so painful that government organisations are still taking people for granted even in a senerio like today where there are so much of complitiion. I am writing this with my experience, The way other players like Airtel etc., provide the Customer care, at least if our BSNL customer care people learn and dedicate themselfs people will have some faith in government bodies, otherwise one will get the feeling that I am having today. I have disconnect Airtel Broadband for a BSNL connection after verifing that it will be provided in a couple of days, forget getting it in couple of days, you will get fedup the way you have to followup for getting the informations.
              i taken bsnl broadband 750 unlimite package net is coming 10sce and net is offing why net is not coming when i restart my computer then net is coming for 10 sec and offing what is the problem for bsnl

                Customer care no. 1500 is not working

                For the last 5-6 days I am not able to talk to customer care executive on the the ph. no. 1500 at BSNL Ghaziabad. Evertime when I am calling this number, the recorded voice is putting me on hold and no executive is attending even after 5-6 minutes and then the call is abruptly getting disconnected.

                my pcs internet is automatically disconnected, and every 3minutes its asked redial, our nearest telephone exchange is pithapuram- 533450 e.g.dt, andhrapradesh.
                when i asked the bsnl employees they tell me un believable reasons.
                kindly slove this problem.

                  I am Chadarmohan V from chennai, BSNL/Cellone costomber my mobile no is [protected], past one week I am received incoming SMS messages from past one week, my self sending SMS with other phone to my number also not receiving, in this regards today in the morning 5.35am[protected] i have make the complient through [protected]. i have trying from 4.30am, no one resoponce after one hour one man picked the phone, he also immediately disconnected the line, again i am trying trying so many times finaly pick the phone and he speak with bad words, i am also fight with him. after all those this things, he had taken the complient and compliant and he gave compliant no is 78421.
                  I don't know wether compliant is correct ?
                  So please check at your end and sort out my problems

                  Respected Sir/Madam,
                  I am using BSNL with Broadband – Home 500(from September 07) for the last 1.5 year and have paid the bill on time as I believed BSNL does correct and genuine billing. In general I used to pay RS 850 to 1000 per month. But Dec’07 was billed around RS3000 and I have checked the dataone.in site for my traffic usage. There they have not changed to Home-500 and the meter reading is computed to Home-250 Plan. So the computation is missed the night unlimited surfing (002-008 hrs) traffic exclusion which is more than 3GB(3096MB). I don’t know whether I have the rights to assign the task to BSNL staff to make the plan change every where applicable other than giving plan change request to BSNL office. Its too weird, the billing is charged for home-500 Plan from Sep’07 and the data usage still computed as Home-250 Plan.


                  Sir, I have given too many complaints both in verbal, written statement and got tired of making correction. For your information, I have already sent a notice to GM(BSNL), Nungambakkam, Guindy and DE(Broadband)-Nungambakkam and my Account officer, Guindy and couldn’t get any response. So I am sending this letter as a request for disconnection of my phone number[protected] and remove me from BSNL customer.

                  I can not pay the wrong amount which is not relevant for me. Please consider this application for bill correction and surrender form for my Telephone connection details given. If I not get further response from BSNL and the Dec’07 bill, if corrected (approx 1000 RS) is adjusted from my advance I have paid for my connection and my surrender form is accepted by BSNL.

                  I have Bought a Topup recharge card for RS.225/- from BSNL Franchisee located near Ayodhya Mandapam in West Mambalam on 28th Feb'2009. When I tried the nos. given for recharging my cell it says it is not possible. When I enquired about it the person in the franchisee told me that he has instructed the Girl in the showroom not to issue RS.225/- card and issue only Rs.220/- Card as value has been changed, but the bloody idiotic Girl/Lady in the show room has issued the Rs.225 Card. He added that since BSNl is updating the software it will get charged on 1st march 2009, but in vain even after several attempts.

                  It is very clear that Most of the Cheats are bloody Girls/Ladies.

                  The bloody thing is that they do not even give a receipt for that. One has to very careful with BSNL.

                    I had not recieved my Monthly Bill for for over 1 year. I equire at BSNL situated near Sagar Public School Bagmgalia they told there is nothing pending. We had paid all the pending in Feb 2007 of Rs 2100/- We had paid excess payment so they are not sending bill from last Feb 07.                             Dear Sir,
                            This let you know that the above-mentioned Phone No. broad band service was applied for in month of 10/04/2007 with Case Mark No.C/LGR/07-08/0016 and application Form No. – MS/0112792 at Office of the Area Manager, Jadavpur, which was ultimately after much inquiries and follow up at Menkon Towers, Branch Office (Mr. A. Roychowdhury) was installed ultimately in the month of August, 2007 with Work Order No – H/NC/H1/07-08/0015.
                            After all this pain and long wait for acquiring a connection of your companies Broad band service the connection came till our doors but with no installation technical assistance only a lines man came to let the wire for the connection in our flat but there was no service (no internet connectivity). Then after several complaints at your customer care only a lines man was sent to our residence who not at all adept to help for technical problems and no computer knowledge which resulted to any help for connection non-availability. After this incidence I also tried contacting your customer care for the second time and explain them the problem but resulting to same lines man visit which did not helped. Ultimately now there was no help from your customer care as they started taking the complaints but no one visited so I started calling Mr. A. Roychowdhry of Menkon Towers, but all in vain. I am sorry I cannot provide you the complaint Nos. because I lost track since it was a lot and thought unnecessary to keep track of since of I believed in your system.
                            All this resulted basically in no internet connection and till date I have paid from August 2007 till November 2007 (Rs.500/- per month) but with no service and also one-time modem charges (Rs.1800/-).
                            Now out of frustration I would like to discontinue this service and like a refund of my unnecessary payment of services I never received. Please do the needful and oblige.

                            I had already cut my internet and phone services even after that I am being charged for the same. I havnt used the internet and the phone since 5 months but they are sending me the bill on regular intervals.

                              I am having a BSNL Broad band connection for last 2 months. The broadband often goes down for hours and hours. The customer support lines never works or always engaged.For last 5 days the connection is down. Every time when we contact the customer service they give new complaint Number, i have 3 complaint number, but no repair is done. The customer center people many time take the phone and keep it in floor and not attends it. They give one word answers Like " server Down" and closes the call. Getting the line with Customer center itself is a big achievement!
                              NO professionalism, no Business ethics and dead customer service. They are not living in this competitive , customer oriented era.
                              This is to bring it to your kind notice that I have contantly faceing problem with my telepnone bearing No. 25451707. I have beeing raising a complient at IVRS system at 25452198 for the past 20 days almost everyday . I am providing the last two docket numbers for your kind persuence (811 dated 26th Feb and 847 dated 27th Feb).

                              I am frustrated to the core, please request to resolve the issue once for all.

If you are not interested in shifting my telephone just disconnect it .your service is very poor while comparring to private sector.Kindly do the needful regarding this matter.

                                i had taken a broadband connection in home combo 250 plan.
                                first it not activate proper, After some day it work proper but in month of March it not give proper service, & In Month of 11 April it has totally disconnect i have already informed, and complain there was not take any action mainly Who control the broadband service it will not recive any call, the Bro but took the connection controller not rec the call, When i have even given the surrender letter it not disconnected, or not activate, Please if broadband service not provide so surrender the my connection or if service is provide so do not surrender.Activate sonor my problem is sorted out.kindly arrange to reverse the installation charges.
                                This is with reference to shifting of our telephone line (Tel No.[protected]Consumer No. [protected]). I have shifted our residence to 14/604 Vidhi Complex, Near Yogi Dham, Kalyan (W). I had intimated BSNL office, Kala Talao Branch about the same on 29 MAY 2007 & put forward request for shifting of my telephone line. I was directed to contact BSNL Khadak Pada office for further enquiries. I was told that I need to give willingness for WLL connection due to non availability of DP at sight. Accordingly, I have tendered my willingness for WLL connection on 04 JAN 2008 but I have not received neither the WLL phone nor any feedback. Everytime I visit this office, I get same reply that is Instruments nahin hain...

                                It is really surprising to know the fact that it's taking almost 5 month for making availability of telephone instruments. I hereby request you to kindly look into the matter & do the needful at the earliest.

                                many time we had enquiry from local office but no positive response received from your local office and many time discussed with Mr. Bhargav at Gurgaon office and he told us on every meeting we are already give the order the connection.

                                We have received a call from Harish jee about our applied connection and he also assure us they are giving the connection within 15 days, sorry to inform that till now we have not received the connection.

                                As per discussion with Mr Harish on date 22.05.2008 we had already send the Fax at your office on Fax No.[protected].

                                Hence we are request to please look in to the matter and do the needful.

                                From the date of 21st June, 2008 (Saturday) my telphone number 2387376 is dead. It is due to reason that HUDA is laying pipe lines on sector road near to Belvedere Appartments. All the cable lines are cut /destroyed miserably. BSNL, DLF Phase II authorities are not sure how much time will it take to restore the connection.

                                I would request BSNL, DLF II, Gurgaon not to charge any kind of rental/service charges towards phones and dial up Internet connection from the customers of DLF Phase III from the date of 21st June, 2008 till the lines are restored.

                                The issue rest in the court of BSNL and HUDA and public/customers should not suffer any financial burden.

                                Dear Sir, I had applied for shifting of my telephone 2473543 (DBLI) from Pense Nagar area to Nandivli Road area as a result of my shifting residence, in the last week of August. Although it is about 2 months from my application, the telephone has yet to be shifted, despite writing several letters/faxes/emails to the senior officials of BSNL Kalyan division.                                   my name is hemant pratap singh, a student of civil engineering ITBHU Varanasi. i have bsnl prepaid connection. i bought a magic voucher on 29/12/2007 with expiry date of 30/10/2008. after some days near 04/01/2008 i tried to recharge the voucher but the response was that the voucher is expired voucher. i called customer care but all vain. they told me that the scheme is all ready stop by the BSNL and they don't have further information about the voucher. so my rs 226 voucher is going to waste. please help me

                                  I have bought one top up voucher of Rs. 562/- from one Genaral Store. But when i was about to scratch the voucher for 16 digit number the voucher was not getting scratched. I tried a lot to scratch it but it didn't. When I told this to shopkeeper he suddenly said that you havn't bought this voucher from shop and etc... So what should I do now...?

                                  I have a bsnl mobile prepaid regular connectio with power voucher. Accordingly I have to pay only Rs. 0.25 for local BSNL and Rs. 0.75 to other network calling. But most surprisingly when I used to call any Hutch no. containing 97 starting the charge is being deducted @ Rs. 2.40/minute. I have lodged several complaints to the Customer Care but no action has taken from the Company. Not only this in case of any IST call charges are being deducted for no reply calls also. How I can get the redress?

My Current plan is HOME 500C , if you want you can see in Ghaziabad telecom record Which was signed by the JTO Mr. Tyagi of patel Nagar exchange but I am receiving the different plan bill , last month I went to AOTR to correct the bill they said to me Its not necessary the next bill will be generated correctly , but the current bill is also wrong , I went to the AOTR office two times but they are not doing correct my bill. According to my plan (HOME 500 C) Plan .My right to make 175 calls and 1.5 GB for internet free . I request you to order the concerning officer to correct the bill and Correct the plan in companies record. I Have deposited of my first bill already . I will be highly thankful to you ….

                                    I am a working employee of BSNL working as JAO TR, Orissa Please go to JTO Brodband and tell him/her to change the plan in his PC i.e in his package i don't want to tell how he will change it just tell him change the plan i.e Converion Of Plan from 500c to UL900 as your wish, AOTR is not the person who will change the plan he is responsible only for the billing don't ask Ao abt that go the concern JTO and tell him change now infront of me and then i will go tell him politily and give me the feedback to my mail as u completed it.

I have took telephone and used for more than 1 years after that last year jan i took data card with this telephone line i used for two months only but the network was not gud at time i closed the telephone line on march and returned the telephone to the office and next month i went and closed the internet connection i also wrote the letter due to the bad connection i am closing the internet in that and hand over the data card to the officer and i came back.

                                    So now you are sending that you have to pay 6000 to close this if you pay we will give the telephone line.

                                    Why i should pay this.

                                    BSNL appears to have entered into some agreement to sell Games On Demand of indiagames.com through their broadband. Now suddenly I am seeing a charge of Rs. 200/- p.m. from March 2011 in every month's bill for Games on Demand! And to cap it, it is being mentioned simply as One Time Charge! Therefore I advise you to Be Careful and check your bills thoroughly every month! I never imagined that a Public Sector Company like BSNL would resort to such arrangements.

                                    I strongly protest to BSNL for arranging such marketing techniques through their company and request them to refund the moneys already made to the gullible customers.

                                    I am Satish Kumar who applied for disconnection of BSNL landline No.[protected] in Aug. 2012 with an instruction to disconnect the phone by 31.08.2012. It was not done. It was done only in sept. 2012. I had deposited the telephone instrument in Aug.2012 itself and obtained receipt. Now I have received a Bill for rs.472/-. I was about to deposit it on 23.11.2012 when i rceievd an SMS from BPBSNL Care stating that i have been billed for -Rs. 1688.56. This means i need not deposit the bill now as Rs.472/- has been deducted from the Security deposit of rs.2160/-.
                                    I WUD REQUEST BSNL ACCOUNTS DEPTT. TO PLEASE REFUND ME RS.1688.56 as early as possible on the billing address. And inform me on [protected] as well when a/c payee cheque is despatched.OR else let me know what i have to do to get the amount due on my mobile or e-mail : [protected]@yahoo.com
