Sub: Connection & disconnection of Telephone No: +[protected]
Sirs,
This has refer to the subject matter, I would like to inform you that, I have taken the above mentioned telephone connection in Sulabh scheme – II on 20.06.2007 by depositing Rs. 500/- towards registration fees vide reg. no BEC/GG/ROI/07-08/0062. During the connection time it was expressed to me by your local representative of B. E. College, Howrah exchange that only Rs. 500/- is required towards connection/installation charge followed by the rental charges through monthly bill payment. On 26.06.2007 after getting the connection I have received a bill from your end stating that I have to pay another Rs. 1600/- towards SD and other misc charges. On enquiry at your local office it was told that the amount as stated in the bill has to paid otherwise the connection will be invalid. During that period I was out of station and my father was dealing with the matter. After came back I personally visited your local office and after discussed the matter, I requested them to disconnect the connection immediately as it was not possible for me to continue with the line. On that day only they have assured me that the line will be disconnected. On repeated enquiry regarding the disconnection formalities it was expressed that the line will be disconnected very soon.
But quite surprisingly, after that, on regular basis I used to receive the monthly bill from your end followed by two nos letter stating that the outstanding payment has to clear immediately, while the line has been already disconnected and the cable/wire has been removed by you. Also on 27.07.09, I received the last bill from your office regarding the rental/monthly charges of the telephone. I am really surprised and shocked to get such bill after expiring two years time when I am not using the telephone and also the connection has already been disconnected. It is really unfortunate that this has happened from a reputed and esteemed concern like you.
However, by this letter, I request you to kindly clear all the matter by disconnect the line (if not happened by you so far) and kindly refund back my registration fees of Rs. 500/- and also confirm the same immediately. Hope you will be kind enough to look into the matter and clear the matter within a short period.
