I tried to withdraw Rs.500 from Canara Bank ATM located in Borivali(East) near S.T Depot Bus Stop Mumbai ATM at 8:00 pm, on[protected] time but got the message ‘Transaction failed’. But in the mini statement which I got from the SBI ATM shows a Rs 500.00 withdrawal transaction on that date; which is not correct.

You are requested to do the needful for corrective action and credit this amount to my SBI account No [protected] SBI Main Branch.Yamuna Nagar.Haryana(135001)

Sub: Transaction error in ATM

Sir
I tried to withdraw Rs.10, 000.00 from ATM located in Alopee baugh ATM at 10 am, on[protected] time but got the message ‘Time out’. But in the mini statement which I got from the ATM shows a Rs 10000.00 withdrawal transaction on that date; which is not correct.

You are requested to do the needful for corrective action and credit this amount to my SB account No.[protected] SBI Main Branch.

    Dear Sir,

    few days before i went canara bank and checked my account details. they suddenly told me that i have to pay some penality regarding negative balance. i checked the status one particular day my withdrawal Rs 16000/- on that day i only withdrawn Rs 8000/- but the records showing doubble.

    i given two complaints against this but so far no action. they dis acivated my ATM too.

      Sir
      I have a saving bank account in the canara bank, Sarita vihar branch. As on 2004 my bank account had a balance of Rs 78000/- approx. Due to certain unavoidable circumstances for 2years I could not go personally to the bank to get my pass book updated, however I regularly tried to communicate with the bank in writing and telephonically also so that my account doesnt become inoperative, and due assurances were given by the bank verbally. Later on, when I went to get my pass book updated, a saving balance of Rs 1500/- was shown in my saving bank account no 3699. I requested the bank manager and other officials to look into the matter who attributed the lapse to the software. Interestingly, the bank is not posting any entry in the passbook for the period[protected] i.e.2years.Supposedly, the bank authorities projected a problem which needed some technical expertise from their TM section in the connaught place.I personally went to the TM section where Mr R.B.Sinha Sr manager assured me that the problem will be solved within 2 days.TM section pointed out that the concerned branch should come up with the problem to them. The attitude of bank manager Sarita vihar was rude and discourteous to me. when I approached the TM section again, Mr Sinha was alrready transferred by that time and Mr Naresh Kumar was looking after. The latter took some time to brush up with the case and when I approached 4th time to him, he showed helplessness due to non availability of manpower and also intimated me about his plan of proceeding on leave. The next incumbent was Mr Bhaskaran, who showed straight reluctance to initiate a remedial action.When I approached bank officials again, they tried to push their problem again to TM section. I registered a complaint online also last month but no response has been received. Thereafter, I contacted circle officer Mr I R Singh in Nehru place branch also online and brought out all the facts in my complaint but, the bank authorities are not even acknowledging my complaints and written communication.
      I therefore request your king self to look into the matter at earliest as I am in dire need of money and have been running from pillar to post withou any success.

        my SAVING BANK account number is[protected], on 3 rd /08/09 at 11.am i went to with draw 1500 rs from ATM(vidyaranyapura branch).
        there i couldn't withdraw money, it was showing transition declined, so i went to SBI ATM(vidyaranyapura branch) ITS very close, even there i couldn't with draw money, BUT MY 1500 RS ( TWICE) ie 3000 RS HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT. SO WHEN I WENT TO CANARA BANK, MANAGER & SOME STAFF ARE SPEAKING VERY RUDE, & THEY ARE NOT GIVING ANY PROPER INFORMATION TO ME.. SO I KINDLY REQUEST TO KINDLY CHECK & DO THE NEED FULL

          My account is with ICICI Bank and since this Canara Bank ATM is near my house in Sanpada, Mumbai (Maharastra). The first transaction of 1000/- failed saying ...ATM can't dispense money. I continued with second transaction thinking in today's robotic age ATM's cant make a mistake. But didn't realize their business logic are offcourse written by underpaid, college intern or training programmers (I know this because I worked with them as a customer when I was working with Red Hat - The Linix company) of same amount which was a success.. Their ATM's have buggy Java code and at times all most 1000 ATM's used to go offline because they didnt catch exception in their JAVA program which feed balance to their ATM's. Can you believe till this date they feed data on ATM switch and can't do online banking or update of accounts like ICICI or other banks).

          I checked my ICICI online account and was shocked to see that my account is debited TWICE with 1000/- each transaction. I have raised the complaint with ICICI bank and they promised to get back response from CANARA Bank in 8 days else they will approach VISA and will try resolving this issue in case CANARA refuse to pay money.

          I try to withdraw thousand Rs but i got silp mentioning that ( Unable process).
          But the amount is debited in my Account, So kindly lookk it to this and help me out.

          Dear Sir / Madam,
          I am M.Alex Ambrose, I went Canara bank ATM Reddy kuppam Road Branch ATM ( Near Srinivasa theater) to withdraw Rs.8000/. amount at Last Thursday (14-Jan-2010).After
          inserted the card and entered ATM pin, Amount came from ATM Machine. At that time, First I took
          ATM card from ATM Machine. then It was go down two times at ground. Due to this kind of late, I
          missed to take the amount from Canara Bank ATM Machine. The amount was gone within the ATM Machine.
          But the ATM gave the receipts by reducing the amount(Rs.8000/.) from My total amount.But I didn't
          get the amount(Rs.8000/.) from that ATM. No Customer care phones and None securities in that ATM
          to inform my complaints. Again I swiped my card to borrow remaining amount (Rs.2000/.), So I got
          the remaining amount (Rs.2000 only). So I didn't get Rs.8000/. amount from that Canara Bank ATM.
          At that day I spoke with Citibank Customer care ( from Ekkattuthangal citibank ATM). But One Lady
          spoke with no responses at that day. I am not satisfied with their speech. Then again I spoke with
          Citi bank Customer care(from Anna salai) on Last Friday Morning (15-Jan-2010). One Lady registered
          My complaint and told me that the amount ( Rs.8000/.) will be added on Monday(19-Jan-2010) to my
          account. So Please add the amount (Rs.8000/.) to my account within that day.

            Fraud in ATM Transaction (Without successful transaction money debited from account)

            I am an Account holder of Canara Bank o[censored]lhasnagar, Branch, with ATM Card No.[protected] and account No. 55586.

            I went to Ulhasnagar-4, Dena Bank ATM for cash withdraw on 10th may 09. When I operated Dena Bank ATM to withdraw Rs. 4000/- and 2000/-, system processed and display an error i.e. Transaction declained/ Transaction error. I have not received cash.

            i am your 20 yrs old customer .my a/c no is[protected] in the name of (rajan gupta nad pravina gupta). we both govt employee. my wife operate this a/c regularly .due to ext counter we face many type of prob there. she visited many times for passbook printing between this period but always your printing machine is not working . she came back. it is not possible for us to go their regularly. so we miss entry from 01/02/2007 tp 31/07/2008. we demand statement every time but they told us that service chg will be deducted from your a/c against statement. why.
            now your branch is cbs. whey we go their for any work they told us system is down.

              amount not received but it has been deducted

              when i was about to withdraw amount of 2000, transaction showed as unable to complete, but the amount has been deducted from my account.. so pls deal with my complaint.....

                    I was trying from the morning to book tickets on online booking. I could able to do up to the payment stage. When I fill the bank account(debit card details of Canara Bank) and go for confirmation of my ticket, I am getting repeatedly the message of REDIRECT web site reference and not able to confirm my tickent. I do not understand what to do for getting the tickets booked online. Can the system help me to get my tickets booked today itself.

                      This is to inform I, Mrs Neha Das had done one direct transaction from Canara bank atm on 14 / 07 /

                      2009 at 19:00 hrs near station road kalyan. The transaction was declined & interrupted as there was a

                      power failure.

                      However in the receipt which i had received from the other atm ( Indian bank ) shows the amount of

                      Rs 5000/- as withdrawn. I did this to just check if the transaction was completed or not.

                      Regarding this i have already submitted a letter with enclosed receipt of Indian bank atm to manager of

                      Canara bank, murbad road branch. but still my account has not been credited with the amount.

                      I have gone to indian bank tirunelveli town branch atm .for withdraw rs 10, 000 = on july 4th 2009 ( saturday ) 10.03am but the receipt shows unable to process . and i take my atm card and go to sbi atm for withdraw there i check my account balance and i saw that rs 10, 000 = was debited from my account . i have give complete letter to my canara bank tirunelveli town branch on 6th of july 2009 (monday) . but still there is no reply from the bank . atm code is 0351 . so please sir rs 10, 000 = is not a small amount for me . please take any action on it as soon as possible ...15 days has passed

                        This is to bring to your kind notice i am having a saving joint a/c no 20572 with Canara Bank Manimajra Branch Chandigarh . I used the debit card of Canara bank in the ATM of Punjab national bank to withdraw money of Rs 5000/- but could not withdraw due to some error code no 072 and my transaction declined, unable to process. but next day i found from my mini statement Rs 5000/ has been debited to my a/c no 20572....

                        Sir,

                        My CanaraBank Debit card No is [protected], My A/C No is[protected] and My name S.P.Meenakshi.

                        I had given my canarabank debit card for swiping in order to pay the bill for a purchased refrigerator at Vasanth & Co, adyar branch, Chennai on 8/7/2009. The cashier swiped the debit card in ICICI swiping machine for two times and told that for both the times the transaction failed. He informed me to pay the bill in cash. So I withdraw the money in the near by Oriental Bank of Commerce ATM immediately and found around Rs 14400 is missing in my account. While paying the bill in cash I told the cashier about the deduction of money twice already from my account. But he did not accepted that and showed that his account was not credited with the debited amount. When I verified with the canara bank passbook entry on 9/7/2009, it showed clearly that
                        Rs 7200 got deducted twice in ATM[protected]. I informed this to Vasanth & Co Cashier and gave a complaint to canarabank manager IITMadras branch, Chennai (card issued branch). Both are telling, it will take around 15 days time to credit the money in my account. Kindly do the needful for crediting the falsely deducted amount Rs.14, 400 from the failed transaction to my canarabank SB A/c NO:[protected] as early as possible.

                            I Had used the canara bank atm as the sbi bank atm had no cash and i was in need of cash very urgent, all the process had been done but before the cash could come there was a power failure and the canara bank atm had no power backup, but the amount had already been debited from my sbi account, now the actual problem arises, the canara bank and sbi are blaming each other and making me to run pillar to post, what kind of service is this ...

                            I[censored] r an SBI customer, u have to approach thru SBI only. there is a toll free no: on the back side of your ATM card - use it for enquiries. Give a complaint to your SBI a/c branch stating the partculars - like card no:, a/c no:, date and time of withdrawal etc. Your SBI branch has to forward it to theSBI ATM card redressal cell. They will contact to Canara bank HO Atm section and receive a confirmation that the ATm has not dispensed money. All this takes normally around 40 days - (yes, 40 days- i have seen it & RBI is working to lessen the time frame). So all the best. No need to go to Canara bank ( they r worst- no staff to service their customers).

                            Else file written complaint to SBI complaint cell, DGM, AGM, GM all.
                            then with the copy, go to Banking ombudsman if there is no action within 15 days.
                            Pls dont let somebody lose you money for none o[censored]r mistakes. All the best.

                            But my SB A/c[protected] at Canara Bank Radour – DP code 2055 is debited with Rs 5000/-. Branch had also mailed you the same complaint with complaint no. 20551. Now even after one month subject ATM entry Rs 5000/- is not credited in SB A/c.

                              ATM (Debit Card) Issue

                              I am karan working as a CSA in Bhopal. On 30 June my wife Megha try to withdrawal a sum of Rs 1600 from his canara bank A/c, from ICICI Bank ATM but the transiscation was fail, and again she use the card at IDBI ATM and the withdrawal was made but on next day when she visited the bank her statement was reflection 1600 amount twice in her statement, and the whereas the transication was failed than how come it is possible that money can be...

                                delay in clearing cheque

                                i regreat to inform you that each time i deposit my cheque for clearing in my saving account, it is delayed by atleast 4-5 working days . i have my account in your shankar nagar branch delhi, but i deposited my cheque in mayur vihar branch. this is not the first time that i am facing this problem and there is no one in your branch who can give us a proper reasoning for the above and today one of your senior manager in mayur vihar phase-1...
